Hello there everyone the andrada here and welcome back to episode 13 of our enigmatica 6 expert let’s play series where today we are diving into ours nouveau a bit of blood magic technically too and uh yeah let’s get started welcome back everybody to another beautiful day here in the world of the

Andrada and enigmatica 6 expert uh yeah that’s where we’re at anyway today we are going to continue working with our magic mods as you can see i have a bunch of new stuff added to our to-do list that we need to take care of um

Because we’ve got a lot of magic to work on in between episodes i did go ahead and pray some more to the dark lord in eidolon and i was able to unlock the sign for the blood sign it is used to perform the sacrifice animal prayer um which we have over

There i don’t have a goblet and everything yet though so i’m not super duper gonna concern myself with it we’ll just do our regular enchant and maybe get lucky maybe not what we’re looking for is the uh ability to craft the unholy sign i believe that’s like our next big gate

With prayer uh so yeah we’re just we’ll just keep doing this until we get that and then we’ll come back to eidolon as as needed but today we want to dive into uh our’s new vote real quick in between episodes i went ahead and used our fancy fancy exchanging gadget and uh cleaned

Up our basement a bit the exchanging gadget makes this super duper easy if you’ve never used it before especially for this case all you have to do is you know change what block you’re using and then you can like you know it last thing i used was the these deep

Slate tiles so it’s like telling me now i can swap out all of these because i have my range maxed out so i can just click open those would all get swapped all those will get swapped and it’s super easy super quick uh to make things look

Nicer than they you know otherwise would uh let’s see yeah no light no and it was mentioned in the comments a couple episodes ago that i uh messed up my explanation of how the light level overlay mod works um so i don’t i don’t know exactly what i said

But just to clarify for everybody red means that mobs can spawn at any time right doesn’t matter it doesn’t matter if it’s day or night mobs can spawn yellow means that mobs can spawn in that spot at night right right that’s what i meant to say if i said

Something different apparently i did say something different because it was commented a couple times uh that’s that’s the way that that works so we’re good to go there uh we do have 490 charcoal available to us so we are pretty good on our our charcoal production here and i did not speed this

Up so i thought i may have to but it’s caught up and it’s it’s doing its thing and we’re still doing good on our wood um if we pop outside here uh you know i’ve had this thing turned off so it’s not running we’re still at

20 48 in here and this chest is still full of logs um and remember we took a row of this and brought it into our base too so plenty of logs for whatever we need for a while like we’re not going to need to turn our tree farm on for a bit

That’s that’s for darn sure what we do need to do though is dive into um ours nouveau so i went through and i was looking through our quest book to try and see what we need to get this done right um so going through ours nouveau i went through and i checked out

The enchanting apparatus quest line and everything to see what we need from here um as well as our source creation which would require us to get crystallizer and an agronomic source link to get started with that um and yeah with all of that these are the things that we are going

To ultimately end up needing to be able to get into rs nouveau in a few of these things like this uh and i think this the enchanting or the agronomic source link require conduit so we want to make sure we save our conduits for these

As well as the gold inlay okay now if you remember correctly our gold inlay is made from an arcane gold english ingot in an enchanting apparatus however it requires a conduit unless we have source available to us through ours nouveau so we definitely want to go this route

Which is why i’m not going to use our conduits for anything else other than we’re going to use them to get into our’s nouveau at the moment i’ve already used one to make the cooking pot and one to get the brazier um now that i think about it didn’t i only make

I only had three of those didn’t i so i have one conduit left um so we are going to end up having to craft another conduit which is fine we can get everything the heart of the sea is going to be uh we’re going to have to go find a heart of the

Sea because we don’t have blood magic available to us and in order to get arcane ashes to use blood magic we have to get into occultism uh you know what we might we may be able to do this part actually now that i think about it the magic clay

We might be able to get into this yeah i’m gonna add that to our to-do list this is fluid item recipe so i’m going to assume that we just throw this in the water enchanted ash which is just cooked up bones lapis dust clay ball oh

Man a powder i just saw that oh you know what we can crush a source gem into mana powder perfect that’s great i did go in between episodes and go get us some source gems just did a little bit of mining i had a bunch of them already

Discovered downstairs uh they show up in arcane or i believe it is yes this here uh and it just turns into the um well it turns into this stuff it turns into source gems you don’t have to smelt it you just break it and you get the source

Gems so yeah we have the source gems available so i can actually go ahead and make this arcane stone now um so if i grab my source gems because if you remember at the end of last episode i kind of fudged up my production of this because for my clay i used the

Wrong form of the clay because we were supposed to put this into clay block form and i didn’t so let’s go ahead and get started so arcane stone is crafted in the channeling items channeling lightning it is three blocks of clay to every source gem in every appetite so so that’s four

Arcane stone uh let’s see what’s divisible by three it just happens to use three clay for everything which is a little bit inconvenient uh so let’s see we need that’s one set two set three set four set five set six set seven set eight set nine set ten sets that would get me

40 arcane stone that is not going to be enough no because if we look at these warding stones requires nine stone each now granted none you know what that actually gives me two never mind we should probably be okay so it is 40 40 sets that we’re going to make from this so

That’s 30 clay um and then we’re going to go ahead and need so we’re doing this we’re doing 10 of these crafts so i need 10 appetite and 10 source gems and we’re going to do this properly this time and i should have well let’s do this

I should have appetite available in the system appetite and a lightening arrow i’m not going to say we’re running out of lightning arrows but we’re running out of lightning arrows just just going to throw that thing out there let’s go ahead and do our lightning

Crafting and this time not mess it up so let’s go ahead and throw these out those and those nope well let me get my magnet off i forgot i put it back on i also forgot that i have this you know nice beautiful takeoff book which apparently i put away uh

When i’m like exploring or like going over there to go get the lime flowers i walk over there i have an elytra essentially why wouldn’t i just fly over there okay give me my stone there we go 40 arcane stone let’s just go on home first off let’s look for

Takeoff yeah that is not supposed to be in there that is supposed to be literally on my hotbar at all times okay so we have our arcane stone so in order to dive into ours nouveau the first thing we need to do is go ahead and make the novice spell book so

We’re going to go ahead and do that which is just purple carpet and gold nuggets and we should be able to make purple carpet i would imagine making carpet is easy standard standard wool recipe yes except for the fact that i have no wool uh i do have shears i really need to

Figure out there’s i know that we can automate this uh production with the sheep the wool and everything with uh we can use create to do so we can put the shears in a deployer and let it let it you know smack the sheep if i were to

Get them locked in a position oh that’s not going to be enough carpet is it no it might be i just need two purple carpet yes and i can do one single die so purple um i believe can we use purple dye can the source berries be turned into it

Yes they absolutely can and we have a bunch of source berries over here we can just grab all of those our our farm is doing okay i haven’t really ended up with too much wheat uh and it’s just a matter of it’s just taking forever for anything to happen um let’s do

That that way we have some extra you know what they say always make extra in a expert mod pack don’t make extra purple carpet though when you don’t need it uh and then if we do this we should have everything gold nuggets not found go away let’s just get that many

And now we can get our novice spellbook bam and that’s going to open up our’s new boat to us which is going to give us a sorcery pie reward which is nice so where we are at right now is we have two routes first off let’s check this

Out because uh this is going to get us some farmers delay and i believe no something here gives us a free gives us free spells if i remember correctly um oh maybe it doesn’t oh magic clay yeah it’s down like down here we end up getting free mage light it’s somewhere around here

Well whatever all right i guess not okay whatever anyway so we have two paths that we need to make there are two paths that we need to take we need to make our enchanting apparatus because this is the main crafting mechanic we also need to get source so that we can start using

And gathering source um now the enchanting apparatus we only have one conduit and it’s going to take one for this but then the yeah look we need all this gold inlay to make this and the agronomic source link is going to require a conduit why you got to need conduits for this

I need a cheesy way to get hearts of the sea that’s what i need uh other than the crafting mechanic crafting recipe that requires blood magic uh you know what we’re gonna we’re gonna try it let’s try and get into blood magic okay so let’s get some bones

Or we’re not even we’re not really getting into blood magic we’re just getting into the alchemy array so we can try and maybe make the uh part of the c right so enchanted ash we’re going to clay ball you can go away uh the mana powder was

What again it was just an uh one of those arcane stones uh or source gems apologies just smacked with our hammer and then lapis dust okay and i probably can use my hammer to make the lapis does too can’t i so you’re gonna get us mana powder and

You’re gonna get us lapis dust and then i just need to cook up two bones and i should get us the enchanted ash yes okay and then i gotta throw this into water it says shears go away oreo go away for the moment i was mentioned in the comments too and

I don’t remember by who i really should have these pulled up when i start doing this uh if when we’re looking for the apotheosis bosses it’s easy to just do this the apotheosis boss is gonna be named so i’ll be able to tell oh hey you

Know spider when its name is you know something else mole rag or something like that um well no hey that’s an apotheosis boss not anything else zombie brute like those guys are the ones that uh have the brute hearts from eidolon definitely need to slay some of those at

Some point but yeah i never never realized that that was a option i don’t like you here right next to my bed like i’m going to be taking a nap and going to sleep and i’m going to be hearing the sound of a sob All night long you know that’s not that’s not fun okay um we’re going to go ahead and i i don’t know how this is gonna work so i’m just getting a new bucket of water thing going so we’re gonna do this uh my magnet is still off yes you you you and you

Except stop picking stuff up okay hey magic clay that’s exactly how that works okay so then we can turn magic clay into a ring of correction from botania we can turn that on that’s how we make marvelous clay okay good to know though that does require nature’s aura

Uh and that is spirit fire from occultism so let’s go ahead and grab some demonstrating fruit and that should get us the uh part of the sea is that actually the direct recipe no arcane ashes from blood magic which will then allow us to do the uh the the

Heart of the sea crafting thing i don’t even know i don’t even know if i i have the stuff i need for that but we’re gonna grab a piece of netherrack and our flint and steel bam let’s go set this up out here this is kind of my magicky area we got

Idle on over here so i’ll go ahead and set this up here now uh spirit fire doesn’t burn in the real world it’s actually only in the demon world is the spirit fire actually in existence so we don’t need to do anything else but if you put it on

A piece of netherrack it won’t go out if you light the demons dream fruit without netherrack it will just stay in existence make sense okay so that gets us that which gets us the conduit which we can then use this algal lantern and an aquamarine now algo lantern is made i believe with

Clay and something so that is these algal bricks which is made with algal blends we’re to need four of these clay and kelp and look you know what we have in a farm out there kelp i could do this uh so let’s get two sets of those because that’s gonna make four

We’re gonna smelt that okay right yep and then we just need glowstone dust which we have in the system already and then we just need an aquamarine and we have hearts of the sea bam crafted without having any issues i don’t even have to go find him

Okay there’s you and then an aquamarine luckily i’ve been looting uh towers or altars from astro sorcery lately as i’ve been exploring i’ll just pop in and grab the constellation paper and stuff so um i don’t remember how to use these but i believe how do you use these i can’t

Remember we throw that down we do that and then that yeah there we go give me a heart of the sea good and you know what i should do is make more of these because remember we’re using we’re doing lightning crafting to do this actual craft uh and we don’t have very many

Uh arrows again i can’t get snowballs and go that route but i can make a total of three more because of the nautilus shells so i’m going to go ahead and make three more of these hearts of the sea real quick with the algal blend and then

We’ll come back and get this uh get going continuing all right and there we go three hearts of the sea everything we need to craft three more conduits uh word of advice your arcane ashes they come stacked don’t use them stacked because it is using the durability from

Both of them uh so it kind of we did three crafts and it used 16 durability overall so just uh sorry six durability overall so just uh be mindful of that i also forgot that i have lightning arrows that i had found while we were out exploring so i’m i was like concerned

We’re running out of lightning arrows we’re not we’ve got about 20 something left so i think 22 total so i’m not gonna i’m not gonna cry over spilt milk here so we can just go ahead and toss all this stuff out and then back up go ahead and do our craft

Give us the conduits be very careful if you saw they were on fire i don’t know if they’re fire proof like they were on fire so they probably would have burned up but just to be safe make sure you grab them quickly yeah that’s what i’m gonna say okay cool

And apparently that turns into an arrow when it’s done so it’s kind of like an arrow spawn i guess so now we can actually dive into the stuff that we need for ours so the first thing we’re going to need is enchanting apparatus which can require gold and these warding stones these warding

Stones are made like so and we just need one of these Because it makes two and then we can go ahead and do this pop those away uh you don’t have your conduit now you do so there is our enchanting apparatus now in order to be able to enchant we need the arcane core as well which is going

To require another set of warding stone which is why we made so much of this arcane stone so there is our arcane core it’s going to require a lapis block and then everything else should be good to go and that’s gonna sit on top of that and

Then we’re gonna need eight of these arcane pedestals so we can go ahead and do this and uh one two three four five six seven eight counting with the android bam eight arcane pedestals and that finishes off that quest we’re also going to want to go ahead and make ourselves this crystallizer it’s

Once we get the enchanting apparatus set up uh so we’re gonna need four arcane gold and nuggets so we need a total of five arcane gold why they gotta do that to me uh we don’t necessarily need the crystallizer to be honest we really just need this we and then that’ll unlock the

Ability for us it’s just the quest requires the crystallizer first uh the crystallizer allows you to make arcanes the arcane um what’s it called usage for the crystallizer actually it doesn’t even have a u like if i press u on it it gives me the recipe which is interesting

Okay anyway the crystallizer makes source gems you can put lapis in there and it’ll make source gems for you we can find them out in the world we have quite a few i don’t know how many more we’re going to end up ultimately needing

So i’m not going to be too i’m not too worried about it at the moment um we are going to end up needing source jars though and the agronomic source link so we can grab all the stuff for this do i have fido grow left over from when we made it before

I do because we’re going to immediately craft ourselves an agronomic source link so we can start going so we need two gold ingots and a gold nugget and two gold nuggets now apparently they’re going over here let’s uh clear this thing out okay that takes care of that that that

That we need conduit and then our gold inlays and remember we will now be able to make gold inlays once we get this set up because we’re gonna you we’re gonna use three of them but we’ll be able to craft more arcane gold once we get this set up

Because it’s just gonna require some source um it is about to be night time we’ll set this up anyway i kind of because i kind of want to uh see if we can’t find an apotheosis boss maybe get lucky with that but we’re going to set this up um

This is going to end up being like occultism i guess or kind of a lawn lawn care let’s play series uh it’s looking like let’s see we need to set b’s up somewhere too uh it’s gonna be agriculturally related eventually so we’ll just do it over here

That’s fine so we’re gonna set our arcane core and our enchanting apparatus up and then we’ll take our arcane pedestals and we’re going to place them around like so and that is our crafting let’s go ahead and check out our quest before i do anything uh make sure that you know

We’re doing everything properly nice mana regen 2. what other quests uh source you want me to make a source jar before you even allow me to do any of this stuff so that’s okay we’ll skip out on that for the moment uh and now with the enchanting apparatus

We can go ahead and do this craft right to make the agronomic source link so what we’re going to want to do is place these around uh you hear you hear and you hear and then we are making the agronomic source link right i think the conduit actually goes into the middle

No recipe found what am i missing ah the all gold inlays the one two three there we go and then if i put that in there it’s going to get crafting do its nice little thing with its particle effects and all that stuff and we now have a agronomic source link

Crafted which is part of the quest for magic apprentice bam and it also wants us to make sun metal blend in the enchanting apparatus with a cost of a thousand source because that is required in order to open the portal to atom uh now the only thing

Is it required for this nebu drop which is made by smelting nebu dust interesting how do we oh here we go items channeled into lightning yeah so four of those is gonna get us the scarab okay i was like how are we supposed to get this if we don’t have this but that’s

That explains it so what we want to do is set this agronomic source link up somewhere where we have a bunch of um growth going on however i have a potential idea slash cheese for this i saw this if you go on the enigmatica 6 uh

Discord there is a google doc that is linked in there that has just some tips and tricks for for the modpack and everything and one of the things in there said that it is possible if you get like a pumpkin seeds so we have 20 of them

I had pumpkins in here and i already converted them over to their seeds if we set this up so that the pumpkins have nowhere to grow we can kind of cheese the agronomic source link in or in because each of the growth ticks of these will trigger

Source to be generated but the pumpkins will never grow which means we don’t actually have to do any harvesting granted we do have automatic farms so it’s really not that big of a deal but the automatic farms could also feed into this too there’s a range of like i believe it’s 15 blocks

So if we set this up like i don’t know i was going to say set it up here but you know our our mine hut is kind of in the way here and we kind of don’t really have room back here let’s go ahead and take these guys

Out didn’t realize i still have f7 on too out of here we can set it up back here though i think i think that would be fine let’s go ahead and break all these get these out of the way yeah i can’t even vein mine them

Okay so if i set this up back here if i were to put like our agronomic source link say here it should 15 blocks 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15. yeah yeah look it’s already it’s getting sourced we’re already getting source

Built up inside of here however problem we don’t have anything where to put this source so we need to go ahead and make the source jars that it requests uh that requires warding stones let’s go ahead and make nope i don’t have enough i was gonna say let’s go

Ahead and make two of these so that i can cycle through but oh well okay there’s that and then this and we have a source jar available now this will fill up any source jar that’s in its vicinity i believe yes yeah look there’s a little bit that

Showed up in there uh and it can fill up source that’s in anywhere in a 15 by 15 block radius so we should be good to go there and so if we get other source jars we’ll we’ll be able to get that going um

But what we want to do is go ahead and try and set up this pumpkin thing so basically the way that it works let’s go back home i need to get some like dirt or maybe stone we have plenty of dirt i actually don’t have very many stone to be honest with you

Because i used all the stone downstairs to make our base look all nice we have our mlg yolo bucket available to us so let’s go ahead and set this up somewhere like this uh so if we set this up in like a checkerboard pattern that should work and then we can plant

You know in places that it can’t grow i guess something like this are we even one two three by four so i kind of want to go out or do something like this i guess whatever it don’t really matter too much um okay so then we need to go ahead and

Till the earth which i just now realized i’m not gonna be able to do because i don’t have a hoe and if you remember correctly our ads does not till dirt there we go i’m not hungry at the moment irl i might be but in game i’m not

Okay so let’s go ahead and try and get this set up so we’re gonna also need water somewhere around here um if i put water like here if i put the water here it should be okay right does it matter if water is not in the same y level as the plant

Let’s go ahead and till till till till till till till till till till till till till uh we’re not going to plant there because it would be able to grow there but this shouldn’t be able to grow we’re not going to do these outsides unless i were to ring this

But if i plant the pumpkin seeds yeah look these aren’t uh we just put water here sure i don’t think that’ll be able to grow down that way so plant plant plant there will something like that work i don’t know we’ll find out we’ll we’ll see if this works because i don’t think

These can grow i’m gonna go grab some like some kind of brick or something to just fill in all those gaps then um i should have like yeah deep slate bricks available because that’s what i use downstairs for the floor and then we can kind of set this up and

That’s that’s more growth and so like i said what happens is that the the pumpkin can’t grow but it’s going to continue to keep trying to grow and if it can’t um well if it can’t grow it’s going to just continuously keep trying which is going to cause it to keep

Well trying like i don’t know what else to say about that it’s going to keep trying to grow and it’s not going to be able to and since it’s trying it’s going to count for source production bam let’s just block all of this off yeah i think that looks good maybe we

Should do like i don’t know actually now that we set it up this way we can actually grant plant more here on these inside ones yeah yeah i think that’ll work and then we could even we could plant even more do i need more water i don’t know

Well we’re gonna till it all up and see what happens anyway i don’t think i need more water because you can go out like five blocks for the water so yeah so here is our cheesy cheesy growth for our source and we have some source

In here already it is 11 full i believe these can hold oh isn’t it like 10 000 source i think that is the case does this if i were to pick it up does it tell me how much is in here no it just says it’s 12 full

Uh we can test this though by trying to make the arcane gold in this that requires 500 source ah but we need the soul shards yes so we’re not there yet and then crystallizer requires that that’s okay i need to make more source jars i didn’t don’t know why i unbookmarked that bam

And yeah basically that’s that’s kind of sort of where we’re at with all of this so we’re gonna let all this run we’re gonna let it grow we’re gonna let this thing try and fill up as best as it can and uh you know go from there after that

Our next steps in the quest book are to get this sun metal blend of course and then we’ll be able to open up the portal to atom once i get more gold in lace which is going to be easy enough to do i just need to get our idol on set up so

That we can do the ritual for producing soul shards which is going to be easy like we we grabbed that um pigment spawner so we can go ahead and set that up somewhere it doesn’t even need to be like i mean we’ll set it up somewhere fairly easy like over here

We’ll just create a little little room where they can spawn in run the ritual bam i believe it’s still going to be the standard ritual we can find out real quick by checking out our book um let’s go here rituals crystallization ritual yeah bone meal to redstone
