Ep103 Automated Unobtanium Alloy – Minecraft All The Mods 6 Modpack

Hello everyone and welcome back to all the month six as you can see we’re back in the server i am also now on a completely new um ssd instead of a hard drive so hopefully there’s some sort of performance increase somewhere along the line if i’m honest uh i didn’t really notice a

Difference in loading the pack or loading um into the server itself um so i’ll have to keep an eye on that as for performance i don’t know i i guess you guys will let me know in the comments if something stands out as being better or even worse um as for the

Actual recording software and stuff um the settings might still be a bit weird because i don’t know i had issues transferring uh some of the files so hopefully this works hopefully everything’s good um so obviously we have a dragon here a lining dragon and you might notice the eyes are

Closed they are asleep because it’s daytime and the lightning dragon needs night time but when it is night time it does work it breathes its lightning power into this um dragon forge lining aperture i took it out of the um cave that it was living in before to try and test things

And it works so far we’ve gotten one because obviously people are on the server and they’re skipping through the daytime as expected i’m tempted to try and take this guy into a different dimension like maybe the mining well the mining dimension is always daytime isn’t it um

I’m not too sure though but anyway lightning dragon that’s what that is um now we also have two other types of eggs we have a dragon egg copper and a dragon egg bronze now you might notice this one’s lighter than the other one and that’s important because i did some

Research with the um the manuscripts we got the other episode from hunting dragons and we found them in there like dragon caves and we can open that up and i’ve researched ice dragon eggs so obviously we don’t have any of these we’re going to have to hopefully find one um

In the lightning dragon exo we have one of these guys which as you can see it’s pretty dark and if we go to the fire dragon this one’s a little bit lighter so i think that lighter one that we have if we go back to the dragon egg

Is a fire dragon this bronze dragon egg um and honestly i want to give it a shot so we’re going to get a flint and steel if we can yep and a netherrack and allegedly this should in theory tame a dragon um is this this is all still closed off

Okay so what i might do is i might close off this door here and just in case it hatches or something but i i think this is how it works um we can place the netherrack flint and steel and yep there it is the dragon egg is in there now apparently

It has to sit in here for three days um yeah so i i’ll just we might we might come back to that um but there are a few things that we can do so i obviously want to go and find this um the ice dragon right

I want to be able to do that because that gets us um a different type of alloy i believe it is this alloy here or this alloy it might be this one and the reason why this one’s cool is because if we crush this um unobtainium vibranium alloy we can

Get this um the dust version right and the dust can actually be used to make yu um so it actually has well that one use i’m sure there’s some other uses here somewhere maybe not but that’s a cool use that we can use because the uu

Matter this is used in quite a few other things um and it’s pretty cool so i kind of want to do that um but that does mean we’re gonna have to go back into the other and if you remember last episode we actually we had a few issues we were taking big

Hits of damage and our um our suit wasn’t able to charge fast enough believe it or not so we have a few options one is well this guy’s max level isn’t he this is a nitro let’s go at power i’m pretty sure nitro is the best yeah

It doesn’t get any better than nitro so what we could do i think is make multiple of these right we could get a second player transmitter nitro and maybe that would be good because how much does this guy transmit um player transmitter nitro he does

400 000 rf in and out so he’ll charge me out with 400 rf per tick oh 400 000 sorry it’s not insane but it’s it’s not bad either um We do have another option and we can actually see it inside of this menu and it’s these energy units one out of eight we have and i think we only have it on our helmet so we only have one of these upgrades energy units and let’s have a look

It has doubled the storage so um the suit which or the helmet which we have that upgrade on is at 12.8 million stored and the body plates and all that are at 6.4 so it doubles which means if you’re picking up what i’m putting down we should be able to search energy

Um energy unit and honestly what do we need we need eight per so what would that be i think we need 31 i think um obviously we need 32 but we already have that one so i think that’s what we need hey it says we can craft it

Let’s give it a shot um i don’t know how quickly it will craft but hey it says it can be done let’s um consult this and see does it look like it’s going fast um oh that whole 478 infused alloys that yeah we might be waiting a little bit just just

Just a didn’t see a little bit you know what while that’s happening um let me do a quick visit over to the tower of donators i don’t know if there has been much of a change here these signs are probably all old i’ll have to read them off camera

But here we go what do we have um so all the names are still here i’ll have to double check after this episode to see if there’s any new people um in particular on the um channel members because i think the the discord ones that i get notifications for but

Ironically the channel members i don’t get notifications for um so i do apologize if i if i miss any new channel members um but the discord members we have skeletal jacob oathus uh derpy’s no luna and one of the v rifties it’s the same person but you know one of these

Signs so thank you guys for for donating it means a lot um and as for the channel members we have mugs to coolest and another vrifty so thank you thank you um it means a lot it’s pretty crazy to have people uh donating for the server now i did see someone up here

But i guess they weren’t doing anything hmm i’m a little bit suspicious all right let’s go all the way down to the bottom all right um so yeah looks beautiful um all right are these done these energy units we have some of them like you know what we can do actually we can

Grab these oh my no do we have to upgrade them here i think we do don’t we i was gonna say like can we upgrade them on the go um i don’t think we can options no okay yeah i was gonna say we could go traveling

And then just upgrade when we need them but uh sadly that is not the case all right so i think that’s actually all of it 27 i think that adds up right because we put the other three in here as you can see by the way look at how

Much power this is storing already that was with the three bits added and it’s already at 102 million so what i’m actually going to do is i’m going to switch this out and start putting them back into this mecha suit helmet just so that this one can be

Charging while it’s on me because as you can see it oh god um it’s it’s not fast enough but but the idea is if we have a big enough buffer once it finally is fully charged also i think it’s doubling each time let’s see yeah is this going to go to 50

Uh is this going to go to 100 let’s see drumroll it does oh my god that’s a lot of power um the idea is once we have a big enough buffer it won’t really matter if one dragon is doing a lot of damage to us because we have so much extra power

It’ll take a while to recharge but it shouldn’t be an issue um unless you know we’re trapped with the dragon for ages um as you can see though this is taking a while so i’ll probably do this um off camera if i’m honest okay so um a little update is this

Induction matrix actually charges it extremely fast um as you can see the helmet is charged and oh okay can we let it pick that back up um and everything that the chest piece is still charging so this thing very fast as you can see in a second yeah that’s ridiculously fast

You know what actually this guy charges apparently just judging by the tooltip at the top or whatever saying how much charge is in it looks like it’s going based on just how quickly it can actually receive power now this just has a normal yellow connector i believe with xnet we could

Upgrade that guy into an advanced connector so i’m going to actually break this oh i maybe broke a bit too much but that’s fine i’m gonna upgrade this yellow connector to be an advanced one um advanced yellow connector there we go can it go any further i don’t think so

Yeah that’s just changing colors okay so we can go ahead and place the connector there we can go back up top place it place the charging pad there um fill up that hole um and then i believe all i have to do is reconfigure this

So this guy i think i want to do insert and insert hydrogen and that should work let’s stand here do we does it feel like it’s charging any faster i don’t even know if it’s charging to be honest yeah it doesn’t look too bad alrighty i have all my pieces here um if

I wanted them fully charged i’m gonna have to take them all off and individually top them up because what we have is we have yeah in our chess piece we have a charge distribution unit and what that does is it equally um spreads all the power out

To all of our pieces so that way if we say fall from the max height and land on our boots it will drain power from every single piece of armor as opposed to just the boots and it sort of spreads it all out and keeps us charged a lot longer um

So we can top them up individually like this and once i do that i’ll meet you guys back in the other and hopefully at a dragon hopefully an ice dragon or something okay i’ve been muted a bit i’m not sure how long i’ve been muted but as you can

See we found two dragons this one here was a lightning one now it hit me a few times but i don’t know it didn’t do much damage to me so i guess we’re fine uh let’s go and harvest this lining dragon real quick i believe we’ll get an egg from this

Maybe we won’t it’s sort of looking like we’re not going to but it was a pretty big dragon so i thought we would have no yeah it was a stage four we got a bunch of scales though okay i don’t know what this dragon is though um so

It sort of looks uh yeah it looks like it’s going to be another um lightning one uh not lightning sorry but um what’s the word i’m looking for what’s the word it’s coming um it does say it’s table oh it is the lightning one i was gonna say it looks like

Not in ice one which is what we’re after obviously all right so i looked it up um and someone said fire dragons are in basalt deltas ice dragons are in mountains and lightnings in deserts okay so i’ve got to go to mountains um yeah all right

Um so if i grab my compass let me search other and then scroll down i guess and we look for mountains yep here they are mountains i’m going to start the search it’s pointing me in that direction okay well i’ll meet you guys there i guess alrighty so this biome is the mountains

Other mountains um so i guess we’re gonna head down and hope that we get lucky um they look horrific okay what are the chances i i mean i’m guessing it’s correct it sounds pretty good because i’ve only been looking in deserts and deltas so i imagine how many of you were screaming

At your screens that i should be doing that this whole time okay let’s let’s go fingers crossed oh okay we have found our first drag oh yeah this is a nice dragon oh my god we’ve done it ladies and gentlemen here it is our first ice dragon fingers crossed it drops an egg

It’s okay if it doesn’t because now we know where to find them but um obviously first try would be ideal okay ladies and gentlemen let’s harvest this dragon and see what we get come on oh we’ve done it we’ve actually done it oh beautiful i also saw a bunch of um

Manuscripts in these chests so i’m going to walk around here and make sure i pick all those up okay we’re back home that was a lot of traveling a ridiculous amount of traveling and of course the first ice dragon we find actually drops the egg um beautiful

Okay so there’s a few things we need to take note of and that is one is we might have a dragon no we don’t the other is how we actually get the ice dragon so if we click on the ice dragon egg we can uh turn the page

And it will tell us what we need um so an egg inside a pond so basically we have an egg and then we pour water around it and that should be fine um and yeah that’s that’s pretty much it wait wait wait i noticed these eggs were

Much colder than those of chickens okay okay um so in theory we just um you know maybe we make a little pond for this guy um that shouldn’t be a problem uh bucket bucket of water let’s get two of these what is this rainbow honey bucket okay

All right we have our water this should be fine okay okay i i think it just uh lagged a little so this should be fine this should be an infinite water source in theory once the server catches up no is it not okay it worked eventually um and now

We’re just gonna place our dragon in the middle there it is um and now i believe in the book it said that it like freezes the water around it or at least makes the water around it cooler um nothing really happened for a short amount of time um

But they let the egg sit for three days and then it seemed to be fine so i guess we’ll just oh yep there it is and now it’s doing the little dance um so we’re waiting on this dragon our fire dragon we’re also waiting on our other

Dragon in the meantime let’s see if we can craft ourselves some more i believe they’re called dragon horns we have two at the moment uh but to make them it’s just the stick and dragon bones they’re quite easy to make and these guys hold dragons it’s pretty much that simple now

Why do these all stack no only these two stack why why is that the case i do not know you know what else i’ve just noticed um there are a bunch of mobs living underneath us so let’s have a let’s go and give them a visit and light them up

With a feral play lantern so that um you know they don’t just lag me out for no reason oh look at this why is this a thing it’s just a big empty box down here okay um i know i don’t need this many uh feral flannel antennas but i mean we

Have them so why wouldn’t we just drop them down um okay dear one thing i wanted to try real quick was if i grab my dragon so at the moment you can see it’s daytime so his eyes which are normally around this area or something like that they’re closed

That’s that’s the main thing so i’m going to pick him up um and i want to test to see if the end counts as night time i i don’t necessarily know if it does there’s also more mobs down there um but hey we can give it a shot right no harm no harm

Doing that so here we go we’re in the end um what i’m mainly just going to do is place the dragon down and see if what are the eyes looking like are you awake oh they’re awake wide awake you know what this means we can set up our lightning

Forge in the end and that’s good enough in theory um you know what i should also check the um compact machine uh dimension that’s what i should do so we’ll go back to our house uh do i have the thing on me i do let’s go in here um

Let’s see are your eyes open i i need it i need to see your i cannot see your eyes okay so no the um the what’s this dimension the compact machine dimension does not count as night time so as you can see he’s still asleep that’s good to

Know um we’ll check last but not least the mining dimension uh well i should also check the other i guess i now i don’t think the mining dimension works because i think the mining dimension is always daytime but hey maybe there’s like a weird thing going on ah sure enough there is

Okay this is perfect because the mining dimension obviously i’ve got claimed already i have a little bit of a base sort of set up here so yeah that that works perfectly beautiful um so what i’m gonna do is probably place it um something like this

So it ends up the dragon ends up facing the direction you are facing when you place it so as you can see he’s looking this way now we can go back and we can actually go and grab um the dragonforge this guy by the way takes ages to mine

It is ridiculous let me tell you and especially with the server lagging at the moment fingers crossed the reset uh helps fix some of this the uh the map change sorry um i i could be sitting here for minutes going to mind this stuff all righty so here we are oh he’s just

Changed the way he’s facing i i’m not sure why but i guess it’s fine um so what we’re gonna do is build the forge real quick so the way we do this is a plus pattern like that okay yeah we get it you’re awake now um you place some dragon bones in the

Corners then you place a lightning core in the middle and the uh lightning aperture and i’m pretty sure this is the same for most um forges you place it facing the dragon so like that then you place the rest of these blocks as normal um dragon forged bricks then once again you

Do the corners and fill up the middle like so um and that’s pretty much it now in theory i put in my unobtainium and my all the modium and as you can see his mouth is open are we going to get some yeah look at that occasionally we’ll get to see some

Lightning firing out of this guy looks beautiful by the way and this guy’s charging up how cool is that um so there’s a few things we can do now um the most important thing is we can hook this guy back up to our network um as

You can tell as well he’s very loud so we get a sound muffler um sound sound proofing possibly concentrated sound proofing okay so what i just did then was i copied this block with my exchanging gadget then i uh pasted all the stuff underneath the dragon with the

Soundproofing and i mean as you can hear like i’m still listen you can still hear the sounds here but then they get quieter to get here how cool is that so this guy is now working he’s being very quiet as he does it um i’m also a little bit confused

About exactly how this works because as you can see he’s full at the moment and we’re waiting on this to tick over and it’s just sort of not i think this is fine though i think we just have to keep waiting um but in the meantime let’s get some refined storage

Stuff set up so we are going to need a oh are we network transmitters um network receivers i think yeah um oh you know what i think we can sort of tease this a little bit and i’ll show you exactly what i mean i think we can use our entangled blocks

Which we love to do here so this block you can interact with right this middle block here oh and we got one beautiful i’m gonna shift right click with the entangled binder and as you can see it is beyond this block beautiful i’m thinking as well

Um have i placed this in a chunk oh my god i place it within two chunks um i might actually move this over one if i’m honest i think i’m gonna do that and have it all be within one chunk also after this map reset or the new map i’m

Going to try and place my structures a little bit more strategically so they’re within singular chunks i might also spread the base out a lot more than i currently have for the sake of frame rate um because obviously like look at this dimension look how many frames

We’re getting i’ve currently got it uh locked on vsync you know what to be fair we have a little render distance but in theory i should be able to up this and we should yeah look not a difference in frame rates in fact it looks like it’s gone higher um i want

To be able to do this in the overworld and the way you do that is by having not as much stuff around you and my base is spread out so it’s not too bad but it’s it’s definitely not spread out as much as i guess i would like to for good fps

Um so yeah okay i’ll fix this up off camera this is taking a long time i do apologize alrighty this is once again hooked up and i just wanted to say i believe if you place these back to front so all the modem on the left and unobtainium on the

Right you’ll get ash instead um so make sure you have it the correct way or else you’ll essentially just be voiding the stuff so once again we’re going to have to re-entangle this block but now we can also chunk load um this chunk which is what the um

The things within as well as our dragon and then in theory we can go back into the overworld over here um where do i want to set this up i guess we could do it over here um behind one of these corners so in theory we get some um exporters

I probably want two of these so i’m hoping it’s going to auto craft one and i also want at least one importer and i think that should be right exporter yep we got a second one ah you know what no we only need one of each um so then um

At all the modium we’re going to want another piece of this ingot the older modding ingot and another piece of unobtainium and then what we’re going to want is i think nothing i think what we do now is we can place this block say here at the top

I’m going to right click it with the entangled binder and as you can see it is bound to the dragonforged lightning brick and you can see the texture it’s the right one still so we’re going to also have an importer you know what for the sake of symmetry

Let’s make this one the exporter so exporter there importer here and we’ll grab a cable which we should have in here yes beautiful place the cable there um so on the on the exporter so exporting out of our system into the block we want all the modium and unobtainium and then

Exporting or i guess importing from the dragonforge into our system will be this unobtainium alloy now how do we know if this is working well first things first we can search for the unobtainium unobtanium alley inc we have one i i mean i guess that’s probably fine

Um well let me also double check that these are on whitelist mode blacklist i want this to be whitelist and this guy i also want to be whitelist but no he’s fine so now how are we looking i see things moving and it’s sort of scaring me a little let’s go back and

Check the other dimension and make sure that everything’s still sort of working so inside here we should see these full at the moment though we only see the all the modium full so it’s working sort of actually no we saw this one go up by one do you see that okay

Yeah yeah so so it is working it is working it’s very slow though um so far the unobtainium alloy isn’t working it has yet to um take that out of us out of the arm forge maybe once this is finished because as you can see it’s taking a very long time

You know what it could be the fact that perhaps this is the front of the block and it doesn’t actually work on the sides that’s definitely possible and i’m starting to think that that might be what it is um so i think in theory what we can just do is grab another

Entangled block like so grab one of these place it above this re-entangle it so it’s the exact same block that we’ve entangled again and put the importer on here with the unobtainium alloy switch it back to whitelist and let’s see at all the modium so far no okay um strangely enough

Nothing else worked except for a hopper um and by that i mean i tried putting oh my god i’m holding fluid pipes you know what other things might work oh my god okay we don’t we don’t talk about what you just saw that is embarrassing okay

But my plan now is i should be able to possibly do this with an ender chest like so and go ahead and do that and that might work too so in theory at all the modium we have one unobtanium ingot there or alloy um

I’m gonna go watch it and see if we get another one okay so as you can see there is an alloy in here but as you can also see it’s not really working at the moment i’ve also it’s really what’s happening with these ingots is very strange

I’m not entirely sure if it’s working it’s kind of looking like it’s not working is it oh it might actually be outputting it oh yeah okay i think i’ve corrected the case i think we’re obviously about to find out so i’m my hunch is that i’ve got to output from

The bottom of it so what we could do instead um is we could essentially place this wherever i guess um why is this end of chest like that huh oh it takes the thing off it okay there we go um so what if i do this

And then that because we saw the hopper worked so it might be that it can only output from the bottom so at all the modium okay so far no wait no yes two yes it works okay beautiful there we go we’ve done it that’s it’s working yeah perfect we now have automated

Unlimited unobtainium all the modium alloys that will be working day and night trying to get us um enough to make these blocks so that we can possibly make an atm star that’s that’s the goal here um our other dragons should hopefully have hatched no oh you know what’s gonna happen right i

Am probably gonna sit here afk until they hatch um yeah currently this recording is at one hour 40 minutes one hour 50. um so yeah i will i will wait this video might not come out um tonight hopefully we’ll um we’ll see what happens

I i kind of want to do it all this episode so that we don’t have to keep doing it if that makes sense um Because yeah i kind of enjoy doing more of the like the technical stuff as opposed to hunting dragons but at least we have them now um i’m debating whether or not i just do this on camera or off camera how can we just wait for them to spawn off camera
