EPIC 1×1 Border Challenge: 100 Days Survived!

One of the best parts about Minecraft is its Limitless worlds so what if you were trapped inside a one by one border with no Escape each day the Border will expand by just one block giving me access to critical resources grab some snacks and let’s get right on into it

Giant cave all I could do now was wait for day two when the Border would expand I went a little insane by the end but eventually I combined the blocks necessary to pillar up out of the hole I planted my one sapling in the corner and placed down my crafting table and

Furnace my new priority was to find coal for torches and iron for tools oh no thank you I then sprained my ankle which reminded me of a massive problem you know aside from being stuck in a tiny World border with nine blocks of available space the other issue was that

I had no food given that this is Hardcore I will die of starvation if my Hunger hits zero I trudged up the stairs to the surface and found this random guy who must have wandered him by accident the way I see it I’m not stuck in here

With him he’s stuck in here with me I decided to name him Terry and realistically I would sell his soul if it would make the sapling grow I mean uh Terry I would never say that I went into the mines to see if there was a zombie I

Could kill to get rotten flesh but all I found was a bat to add to the cheery mood it started pouring with rain I took shelter under some cobblestone as I did my best to ignore my depleting hunger bar and Terry’s eyes staring right through me with nothing better to do I

Added some stairs to the mine so that I wouldn’t have to jump up every single block to get out eventually the next day rolled around and the Border once again grew I now had access to a few pieces of grass which could potentially hold life-saving wheat seeds I broke the

First piece nothing I broke the second and yeah we’re both gonna starve aren’t we but as I made my way down the mine something caught my eye it was a baby zombie riding a chicken I carefully LED it up the stairs missing some of my attacks due to sheer panic I took the

Zombie down and it was time to nurture and take care of this chicken said no one ever that is delicious with a full belly and High Spirits are returned to the mine to dig as deep as I could before long I came across an opening to a cave this was gonna completely halt

The mind’s progress unless I could could somehow get down there safely and build a staircase back up there was only one thing to do it was time to boat clutch I looked down into the hole took a deep breath and walked forward come on yes don’t even think about it I began mining

In the hopes of finding any kind of awe and you know what I found nothing I built a staircase and headed to the surface after some thrilling conversation with Terry I heard the groans of a zombie he brought fist to an ax fight and inevitably lost it I also

Managed to eat rotten flesh without getting food poisoning what I didn’t realize at first was that he dropped a carrot I could plant this and finally have some renewable food this skeleton paid me a visit but he was dealt with do you want me to throw you a bone Terry

Comedy due to my inability to sleep thanks to not having access to a bed packs of phantoms were now spawning my favorite part is that they have an ear splitting cry that could drown out a jet engine thank you Minecraft very cool day four another zombie tried to mug me and

Monsters infesting the mine the coast seemed to be clear but then I got rushed by a skeleton I blocked the stairs with some Cobble and tried to finish him off but he pummeled me with Arrows with just one heart remaining I scrambled away I’m in danger I knew that the Phantoms would

Soon be on their merry way so I spent the entire night in a cobblestone box once morning finally rolled around I got to work smacking grass I actually did find a wheat seed which I planted and what can only be described as the world’s worst Farm because of the fact

That I would die if I monster so much just breathed on me I decided to dig up a few carrots I only ingested a few pieces of soil I ventured back down into the mine and instantly ran into another skeleton I was able to set everything up

So that I had a tiny gout to attack him through and he couldn’t shoot back at me these mobs were all complaining that I should fight them far and square but it’s pretty hard to complain when you’re dead I was also once again able to eat a

Piece of rotten flesh with no issues eating Taco Bell since birth has changed me as a man I blocked off the staircase I built a few days ago which should hopefully stop all the monsters down below from climbing up I was able to make a few more pieces of bone meal to

Grow the carrots and slowly but surely I was able to restore my health now while it is pretty hard to go forward at the moment there’s no limit on going up I wanted more space to grow trees and this was the perfect solution I got kind of

Worried that the horse who I’m gonna name George I was pretty worried that he was going to trample the crops in response I made what I like to call the anti-george wall or a pig what if I use a carrot yes I put off naming him till

Massive amounts of them I used a bow I looted from a skeleton to shoot down into the horde but eventually I ran out of arrows well most of them have been taken care of so it should be fairly easy from here right nope I flood up the

Stairs for the 17th time in this video and it was starting to feel pretty humiliating things weren’t all bad I guess a piece of wheat had grown and I was able to plant a potato that I’d wrestled from the hands of a zombie’s corpse I mustered up my courage and went

Back into the mine and I didn’t see any skeletons which was a good sign it was a simple task to get rid of these zombies and At Last I was able to light this area up I started digging the mine deeper but I didn’t have any torches

Left so it would just become overrun with monsters again I then realized that if I placed downstairs everything would be fine seeing as mobs can’t spawn on them progress was very slow mainly because I was mining deep sleep with a stone pickaxe the Border grew again and

As I was leaving the mine I spotted something iron we’ve actually found some iron I was starting to think I’d have to sell a kidney to get some of this when I got back to the surface it was pouring with rain which was actually great as it would temporarily water the crops I

Needed food and wood so while I waited for things to grow I passed the time by trying to make a house unsurprisingly when the only material you have on hand is Cobblestone your house won’t look very good I extended the ant George wall and then looked at my civilization it

Was just like the Roman Empire if the Roman Empire sucked and had a population of about five people I expanded my tree farm and then trapped this villager in a box for some reason listen when you have 20 meters of space to move around in and

Live off a diet of zombie flesh and vegetables you have to make your own fun I then decided to try and tame George look he’s my friend still not feeding him though a tree grew which meant I finally had some charcoal to smelt the

Because I felt safe thanks to the unbreachable world border it’s not like anything’s ever entered from the outside yes this is blatant foreshadowing I started making a staircase from The Tree Farm in order to have enough space for a mob grinder but as I was leveling up this toolsmith the pillow just us

Through the unbreachable border and I realized it was very much breachable without even thinking I killed the captain starting a raid to make matters much worse one of them had a piercing crossbow with just one and a half hearts remaining I cowered behind the anti-george wall Phantoms were

Screeching overhead using my bow I was able to take down the piercing crossbow Pillager I now had to find a way to trap the final one because killing him would result in wave toward the raid spawning and my small civilization would be quickly overrun by bloodthirsty readers

By some miracle I managed to get him contained we did suffer some casualties but thankfully most of the villagers survived that does not look right the raid status will disappear after about half an hour so that’s now this guy’s estimated lifespan this right here is why even a small amount of darkness is

Incredibly dangerous thankfully the most Mercy killed each other and I cleaned up the rest I also found my first pieces of coal I was starting to feel like this world just didn’t have any it was raining for the 3 300th time so I decided to meet the Pillager prison into

A little shelter of sorts but then I realized it was currently a thunderstorm you see if I could get lightning to strike one of my villagers and turn them into a witch I could trick said witch into throwing a weakness potion at a zombie villager allowing me to kill them

Is she’s stuck in this boat the bad news is she just did that and now I’m hiding in a box because I have half a heart left at long last morning came and I can’t tell you how good it was to watch the Phantoms crumble into ashes before

With an ocean of XP orbs once I’d taken out most of the mobs with the bow I was able to go in safely with my sword unfortunately clearing out this area was only the beginning there was a passage nearby which led to more monsters which then led to another passage which then

Led to more monsters I had to light everything up otherwise the mob grinder wouldn’t work due to all the monsters spawning down in the caves instead of in my Contraption I found a pal one bow so yay I’d like to point out that during this whole Fiasco I didn’t find a single

Diamond not one blue gem in sight well at least now there’s no more Monster I got jump scared so badly I managed to turn off my Hotbar hit the zombie with my pickaxe and then throw him my sword my iron tools were extremely damaged my iron tools were broken so I made some

New ones Oh my days it never ends it actually never ends why are there so many of them I found out there’s essentially a naturally generated glow squid Farm down here imagine being born and then life just Yeats you down a 50-foot Chasm I had a little scuffle

With this Enderman a small disagreement if you will but the most important part was that we shook hands and went our separate ways I picked up all the dropped glow squid organs and it turned out there was over a stack of them well I’ve just lit up all the caves now so I

Turn him into a witch so that I could underpay my workers it was a long argument even the children joined in while I did win the argument the downside was that by the time I won the thunderstorm had already passed looks like this guy can stay being a villager

For now my wood supplies were supremely low so I spent a while collecting some more and despite being on day 63 I was back to using a stone ax I spent all the iron I got from that cave on Hoppers for the iron farm I needed to get a few more

Villagers up into the farm and things were going smoothly up until now getting these guys separated was not an easy task and I even had to assume I wrestle one back to his pod but it all worked out in the end I then came across the smartest villager I’ve ever met because

Instead of listening into anything I said he just ran away despite my best efforts he would not move from The Village Square thankfully his fellow townsmen were much more gullible I let the intrusive thoughts win here and leapt off the dirt scaffolding to try and land in the water I can’t feel my

Legs now that I had everyone in place I could start building the rest of the iron font the zombie scares the villagers making them call for an iron golem and then the Golem spawns on this really fun water slide then they end up in this lava pit and die a horrible

Death but let’s not focus on that part am I in Ohio right now I was almost done getting rid of the dirt scaffolding when a Golem spawned on it and immediately clapped the zombie I was very mad so I pushed the Golem off but he took it like

A champ he did not fare so well against my ax I may or may not have then turned around and sold the iron that he dropped to the toolsmith I was gonna have to wait until night to try and get a new zombie so in the meantime I did some

More farming after selling the entire Harvest I bought an efficiency one iron shovel for six emeralds which was a terrible fan financial decision I used what remained of my wallet to level up the arborer it had taken a long time but I can finally get diamond armor for one

Emerald again did a bit more farming and forced this guy out of his bed to trade with me in the middle of the night which definitely violates some kind of labor law more importantly though a thunderstorm had kicked up which meant this guy had finally met his fate and

Turned into a witch I’d once again like to bring up the converted witches don’t despawn so everything you’re seeing on screen right now was completely avoidable a lot of things have changed since the start of this playthrough but are hiding in a box on half a heart

Isn’t one of them it was a relief to finally get her in the boat I started hunting for a replacement zombie for the iron bar I needed one that could hold an item so that it wouldn’t despawn which meant this guy didn’t meet the cut it’s

A one in five chance for a zombie to be able to hold an item so it wasn’t long before I found an undead whose hands still worked I’d made sure the villagers couldn’t see him by blocking off their pods which meant I could remove the dirt scaffolding before they called in and

Iron Golem and deleted zombie number two I guess my Facebook post about needing a zombie got pretty popular because I had a load of them show up that’s a joke of course Facebook is dead like this guy now that the only place the Iron Golems

Could spawn was the top of the farm I could safely let the villagers see the zombie again after a quick check of the tutorial I figured out that the killing chamber sorry the happy fun chamber had to be made with walls instead of solid blocks ah yeah this is awkward this whole thing

Would have been so much easier if I just temporarily removed the lava but I didn’t think about that really wish I had though eventually the happy fun chamber was up and running and had already produced 60 Iron I bought a ton of diamond armor in order to get the

Armorer to max level and I could finally replace my peasantly iron helmet with an extravagant Diamond one well actually my brain ended up forgetting that I should wear it and instead threw it in a chest and I just end up buying another one later I wanted to try and set up a

Proper usable system for the witch to kill zombie villagers except this is the witch we’re talking about however I had a secret weapon Cowabunga the cow I could drink her milk and completely get rid of any potion effects the witch tried to give me it took a day’s work

And a gallon of milk but I managed to create a system where the witch could throw potions directly at me and I could put her on a boat whenever I wanted and yes there was no need for it because they don’t despawn I’m still so mad that

I only found out after recording the whole video I headed down into the abandoned mine shaft in order to collect some rails I did have a fully functional iron farm and could have just crafted them but as a famous man once said act broke to stay Rich after convincing this

Zombie that he did want to spend his entire life in this hole I now had a very primitive system to infect and cure villagers now I just need to test it out I picked the toolsmith because once cured he’d pay one Emerald per iron ingot don’t worry mate this is perfectly

Safe and you won’t feel a thing okay well I might have lied about that all I had to do now was wait for the witch to throw a weakness potion and with my newfound supply of milk this should be incredibly easy except it wasn’t you see

What I didn’t know at the time was that in order for the witch to throw a weakness potion you already need to be poisoned I spent the entire day sat in front of the witch waiting for her to throw a potion that I was physically preventing her from throwing oh and now

He’s bringing the cow closer so he can drink even more milk wait hold on he’s leaving he must be reflecting on the situation and realizing what he’s doing wrong nope he’s made seven more buckets and as somehow made this even worse what is he doing eventually and I really mean

Librarian but I was already mentally scarred from the previous experience so I ended up buying bookshelves and outrageous price it’s gonna be the most expensive enchanting setup ever but it’ll 100 be worth it selling crops and iron was making me decent money but I wanted more my next business venture was

Going to be an automatic wool Farm which was gonna require a ton of cobblestone I needed string for dispensers which gave me a valid excuse to go explore the abandoned mine shaft I was also running low on wood again but to be honest when am I not running Longwood initially I

Wanted to make the farm in this small pit but quickly came to the conclusion that there just wasn’t enough space there I found a decent spot on top of this hill and from there I could start construction however I feel like a 12 hour analysis on a single particle of
