EPIC AUTOMATIC FARMS and SILENT GEAR UPGRADES

I’m chosen architect and this is all the mods 9 and today we’re working on all kinds of Automation and tools now what’s the one thing that we’re going to run out of most and it’s going to be Iron if you guessed iron well you’re right and well there’s many

Farms we can actually use to get iron one being a vanilla Iron Golem farm right but there’s a simpler solution to that and here we go we are crafting a few of these so these iron Farms well they don’t exactly work by their s we

Are going to need a hopper to pull out of them or some sort of way to pull out of them and we also need a villager so well thankfully we know where some villagers are at but how am I going to get them Hopper out and how do I want to

Set this up I think what I might be able to do is simply use a puller upgrade and we should be able to set this to pull from the up which is going to pull from the top of the block and so if I have a

Farm here it should be able to pull from that but the other Farms are going to need Hoppers and I think the initial Hopper investment is going to be well worth it once we have this going and so I can just set up several of them and I

Might even make another one to put in the center that is going to be perfect because you want more than one of these one of them is going to be very very slow but if we set up more than one then we’re going to be blazing through this

Oh yeah we’re going to need more iron so to get more of that iron we’re going to have to go grab yank whatever you want to call it some villagers now this is just one one of many farms that I want to set up today believe it or not we

Should have access to tons of automation already right from the start as soon as we get access to iron and can make hoppers consistently we should have access to tons of resources so we’re going to need five of these villagers and it I don’t think it matters what

They are but we do need five of them and we I’m shift right clicking to pick them up it seems a little wrong but it’s it works so now that I have the villagers in my inventory we can place them in and and this is going to get an iron golem

Farm up and running for all of these um and so what we should end up with is in this drawer the back is being piped into we should end up getting iron and poppies just like any other iron farm um so I’m going to put this in a utility

Slot and that’s going to pull from the one up top because there is no Hopper actively on that but this is also where it’s going to be stored so we should just let it be for a little while and iron golem should spawn before we know

It now that thing is awfully loud so recommend setting up a filter to kind of block Iron Golem death sounds now I’ve come up with a plan since we now have access to iron and I just grabbed a stack out of here um we can also set up

A couple of other Farms so I want to start working on botney pots now that we have the access to Hoppers so what I want is I want a set here and a set here of just four that I can farm so it’ll be a total of eight U things that I

Absolutely need to farm and these are the things that I want to set up so I want Spruce I want dark oak I want mineral and I also want a and then I want Industrial Hemp Cactus sugarcane and kelp those are some really important modded items that are really going or

Just vanilla items that are going to be important for modded crafting recipes and then this one right here I’m going to turn this into a very simple and I mean very simple automatic charcoal Farm now this particular mod is incredibly easy to set up they simply require

Flower pots which we ended up getting a ton from a village um and then we have our Hoppers so The Hoppers are the hardest part to get uh when setting these up and they’re just going to produce crops so all we have to do is

Place in some dirt and we can set up saplings in this one and then crops in the other one but we place this in and then we say okay well what do I want to farm in these and then all we have to do is put our materials in just like this

And then these are going to just start growing so they’re just going to grow over time um now there is a reason that I’m using barrels a very specific reason um I could use chests but barrels I think look really good but not only that we have sophisticated storage in here

And that opens up tons of possibilities for upgrades and at some point these barrels they could contain nearly infinite amounts of items and have tons of storage slots it is a crazy mod and so I’m I’m already prepping for that and for the upgrades um so all I have to do

Over here is simply use the hoe on these so once I place the uh the dirt in we can just use the hoe on them and that will also work so let’s go ahead and place this and we don’t have to give them any water or anything like that um

So I’m going to place this down and then I hoe them this is also an interesting way to actually just get Farmland but yes um now this is ready to go and we should be able to put some of these things in now one of these actually doesn’t take uh dirt um so

Let’s go ahead and put this in this will accept Farmland it doesn’t appear like Industrial Hemp can actually grow in here unfortunately so I may need need to find something else looks like a clo can grow in I’ll find something else that can go in here um I know that

Another alternative to to hemp would be the flax seeds um so we can get that going now sugarcane will definitely work that’s already being produced Cactus needs sand and kelp needs actually a bucket of water sugarcane can also grow on sand by the way I do believe um so

I’m going to go ahead and get the kelp we just put a water bucket in here and anything that requires water to grow it just gets a water bucket and then last not least we’ll do flax seeds instead of the hemp because well hemp is for some

Reason not working in here now for this next part which is going to be the charcoal Farm well we’re going to need an iron furnace we’re also going to need some pipes from the pipe mod not not too much uh as we’re going to be able to

Kind of situate this hopefully in a way that we won’t need to filter too much uh but we’re going to need definitely an iron furnace and this is going to be the big the big showoff in this setup now ultimately what I want is I want this

Barrel right here to be the charcoal output so that’s where charcoal is going to end up going and I want to use a birch sapling for the very specific reason that uh any other sapling U might produce some sort of uh adverse output that that can’t be smelted such as for

Example uh the oak saplings right it produces apples and we can’t smelt apples so what we want to do is we want to essentially Farm up these Birch saplings and so if I place them in here they should produce the logs the logs will go into the barrel automatically

Because of the hopping Bonsai pots and then this is where the furnace comes into play so what we want to do is we want to Output our product here now to be most efficient um we should be able to Route our charcoal back into this and

Then use the charcoal to smelt the logs that’s ultimately what I want to do um but how does how are we going to get this to work well actually the iron furnace has the ability to input and output and push pull which is incredibly

Powerful um so all we have to do is set up Auto input on and we can actually determine and tell this specifically what slots to use so for example on the left slot we can say make sure to send anything from the left slot up here that

Can go in here um hopefully it it will be very specific with what can and can’t go in here we need the same for the right side and then we also need the same for the back side now the front I kind of want to leave for right now and

We’ll we’ll worry about that later but we could potentially also have that uh pull from the front but there’s something actually I want the front to Output right I want it to output and then the bottom um of the machine I want this to be an input to accept um the

Fuel into the fuel slot so we need that to be set to fuel and make sure the auto input and output is turned on and this should be configured so once we end up getting some sort of sapling in here or some sort of log it should start working

Now just to jump start everything let’s go ahead and give it a few logs it’s only going to be pulling from three of these so let’s just say that goes in there and notice it is now filled with birch logs so let’s put a little bit of

Fuel in here to make sure that this sends to this area now we can also have logs being produced here that get sent to the fuel slot but the majority of the items I want to be charcoal so this is where we need to pop down into the

Bottom and so what I should be able to do is send our pipe right here here that is just going to simply pull the items from here and just send it into that slot if it can do so and the good part about these pipes is that they won’t

They don’t have a buffer or anything so if it can’t go in there it won’t go in there so there we go and we should notice that our charcoal should move out of here but if we don’t have any charcoal then it will jump started with

This one right here so the ultimate goal is to have this fill up with charcoal and we basically have oursel a charcoal farm and the other cool part is this is upgradeable and we can just continue to upgrade this and make it faster and

Faster now this I would have to say is a really nice simple charcoal Farm all the charcoal is going to build up inside this barrel and of course it’s upgradeable and we’ll have access to it for any of our other machines or torches or anything that uses charcoal there’s a

Lot that uses charcoal early game now we should be able to make that augment for Speed and there we go so just one speed augment in here is going to be incredibly fast uh and that goes in the augment lot and so now that we have that

In there it is going to be a little less fuel efficient but it’s going to go much faster now as we get into the tool upgrades today I want to show off a really cool mod this is called the tool belt and it may become one of my most

Favorite tool mods and it might become yours as well if you’ve not already discovered it um I’m going to go ahead and make some pouches here but to make this it’s just a little bit of leather and some iron and some string and we can

Make a tool belt and then we also can make belt pouches this is going to upgrade it because by default it only has two slots you only hold two tools um now I I’m not quite sure how we upgrade it yet that’s going to be the thing that

I have to look at is there like a recipe where we add the the pouch ah it does say in the quest and we actually get some free pouches for this uh it says you can use an anvil and so we just combine these in an anvil and there we

Go and one more and perfect now this has several more slots now I did go ahead and set a keybind that opens up the inventory slot that it’s supposed to go into it does say can go into the belt slot but I recommend putting it into the

Slot it’s supposed to be going into and then you also need to set up a hot key which by default is set to r that will allow you to open up the inventory once you put the items into it so by default it is empty um and so we can actually

Put some items in for example I can go ahead and put my wrench in here so if I put my wrench in here and let’s say say I put a hoe in here and those are some things that I use every now and then I

Can then put this in my slot here and now when I hold r i can select them and so it puts it right into my inventory and then whenever I want to change it or get rid of it I can just simply stow it

Away so I can go like oh I want my pipe wrench or like oh I want to I I don’t want it right now I just want my hoe there we go now I have my hoe so this is an amazing mod and the more tools we get

The more useful the is going to become now with all of that tool speak let’s actually talk about our tools silence gear right that’s what we’re using as our main tools right here and Silent gear is kind of obscure in the fact that it doesn’t look like it can be very

Powerful but it can become very very powerful even early game um and the main things we’re going to need are some of these templates so we can build out templates so we can make these special parts and there’s a lot of different parts and ways that we can Aug our aug

Augment our tools now I’m not amazing with this mod and it’s really hard to fully wrap your head around everything that this mod has available to it but I will say a couple of tips that I’ve at least found and that is that you can tip

Your tools so if you want to get the mining up from Iron up to obsidian level or go from Diamond being able to mine diamond up to mining obsidian all you need is a diamond tip and a diamond tip can be added to your iron tools for

Example or any tool really and that’s going to make it a little bit faster um another way to make things faster is by using a grip um now I believe that if you do blueprints if you actually convert these into blueprints they will last forever whereas the templates do

Not uh but just for an example this will give us some grips and so we should be able to apply a grip to this and I don’t know if leather also works as a grip um let’s take a look uh I think it does show all of the things that could

Possibly be grips so if I go ahead and I say grip which I think uses Leather by default yeah we could make a leather grip as well um and they have different stats Associated to them so this will be repair efficiency Harvest speed will be

10% attack will be plus two this will be 10 so I almost think um repair efficiency is way better but it does look like the Harvest speed will be faster if we use leather I don’t know I like the uh I like the Harvest speed so

I’m going to go with leather and uh then we can just simply apply that to our tool and now we have a leatherbound uh basically diamond pickaxe that we can repair with iron now another way we can customize our tools and armor because you can also make

Armor from this mod um is you can coat things um however I think the best thing would be to coat it in netherite uh but we currently don’t have netherite available right now prismarine might also have some good stats but I can tell you gold is not that great uh it may be

As it maybe a useful thing for example a helmet or something that you take into The Nether but yes I as of right now until we get blaze um we really won’t be able to use this Blaze gold might have some better stats but all it’s going to do to our

Main tools is lower our durability and I don’t really want to do that so essentially these silent gear tools in gear are basically tools that already have mending on them so we don’t really need to worry about too much except for maybe Unbreaking to make them last

Longer even though we can just repair them so the main thing we really need is whatever modifier we want to put on here for example silk touch and then we also want fortune I should be able to get Fortune now that we’re working on tool upgrades now to obtain this Fortune book

This is where the Indio enchanter comes into play and thankfully we don’t have to go through the process just yet of making dark steel as we looted it so this is one benefit of looting is you actually can find this stuff just laying around in chests so now we have ourself

An enchanter how do we use this well we need the book and then whatever material it takes to make it for example it requires some lapis and emeralds and then it’s going to require some levels currently I don’t have the levels but we should be able to farm them quite easily

And to get our levels up we should be able to Simply use a Fletching table and ourself a villager and uh we can just trade at some sticks that we farmed from our logs so bam just like that and we can cycle through trades and that

Believe it or not gives you quite a bit of experience now having multiple Fletchers is going to be a good idea so now even though this is a pretty expensive enchant it’s going to be 100% worth it this is going to mean any block we break will give us way more for what

It’s worth all right so now that we have this let’s go ahead and now apply that to our pickaxe and it’s going to cost a few more levels oh boy more stick trading is going to happen now getting experience will become way easier soon once we get a mob farm up and running

But that’ll be next episode all right here we go and Moment of Truth we are now going to have Fortune ah this is going to be so much nicer now back underground in our mind now that we have the fortune I do want to do a bit more

Exploring and I can see on the mini map like areas that sort of open up and I definitely want to explore those the the faster I can get some artifacts I think the better and artifacts are going to be a huge game Cher especially if we get some like bunny slippers which will

Prevent fall damage and down we go by the way this ore right here this stuff’s actually kind of important the Arcane crystals because with the Arcane crystals if we turn this into a block all we have to do is combine it with some of the spawner scrap that we have

And we have oursel a way to pick up Mobs with a Quantum catcher that’s going to be pretty powerful what is this guy it’s a wraith hold up all right so mobs are definitely out to get me right now and we also have pillagers apparently now oh the wraiths

I forgot about those mobs they drop your health your overall health is reduced this is an apotheosis boss has to be I’ve got to break this okay oh all right these guys have a lot of health and I do not okay there we go

Wow um this let this have loot oh it has two diamonds that’s really nice I mean there’s bound to be really good loot just waiting for us in one of these containers oh this is super nice it’s like a whole area of Greg Tech redstone

Ore and the good part about this is like you can smelt it down and it smelts down each one of these equals five Redstone and we just looted a ton of it is this an abandoned M shaft no uhoh that’s a boss okay this is a special one of these

Rooms NOP the spoter has no time left on it oh my goodness I’m going to die from this no I must run oh my goodness five that guy is dealing so much damage we have to fight it in water though that’s going to be our only way it’s setting us on

Fire oh no I’ve got to eat I’ve got to eat I’ve got to eat otherwise I’m going to die I’m going to die no please let’s get this come on I’m just going to swipe faster oh thank goodness oh my heart um that was a a thing oh my goodness man that’s uh

That’s a lot but maybe there’s some good loot oh there’s a okay so there is some good loot in here what about this one oh ender pearls yes I will take all the into pearls we can get our hands on yeah I just unloaded everything and this does seem

Like it’s a m shaft but not a normal one that’s for sure this is very overgrown oh and there’s another one of the wraiths but there’s also an inventory these guys are scary because they they like melt away your total health come here there we go got them

All right what’s inside this there’s a there’s a used Skillet in here but there’s a bucket of lava very nice we got a railcraft reborn tool that’s kind of cool uh and some more backpacks o and a loot capacitor I will take that every day of the week this is

Such a nice cave uh this has to be this has to be some sort of mod right yes this has got to be Young’s mod right Young’s better caves do we just we just got a ring of blood Affinity Plus One to the heart stop from Iron spells I’m kind

Of kind of interested to see more about that mod I’ve played around with it with it just a little bit um but I would be interested to see what more that mod has to offer oh this looks big oh yes that’s what I wanted I wanted a big open area

To find oh cuz this makes looting so nice I’ve got a oh this is a cave creeper I’ve got a cave creeper sneaking up on me these things are still worth finding if you can oh man definitely getting a mob farm up from that would be amazing it’s good to know that they

Spawn this on the other hand I am not a fan of we do have the Enderman overhaul mod as well in here and they just kind of aggro on you while you’re just walking near them which is definitely scary oh no this spawner has

Silverfish no no no no let me let me get rid of it come on oh another one spawned silverfish are the worst their hit boxes are so small oh this is a great way to farm up slimes it’s so nice this loot chest had slime spawn eggs in

It what I mean we probably will end up however with slime spawning in our mob farm ah there’s one of the artifact places up here definitely worth going up here and grabbing just need to make sure it’s not trapped um okay doesn’t appear to be okay good

Oh we end up getting an artifact okay so this um has a chance to damage attackers o out of all of them not the one I really want but I can’t complain ooh there’s a big opening over here I wonder what wonder what’s on the other side of this

Diamonds you know I found more diamonds oh and stuff like this than I have anything okay let’s see please no traps and no artifacts that’s okay I like all the loot oh but this is perfect because right next to it is also more Loot and

More loot over here as well oh oh oh I seen it move I seen it twitch the good part about these guys is it’s a guaranteed it is an absolute guaranteed drop okay so we end up killing it what did we get we got um more spiked boots

Okay so as far as what we have uh currently I have the slippers on so I’ve gotten a few artifacts so far in my journey uh let’s see we have the necklace on which uh has a chance of ATT of damaging attackers and then also have creep avoids the wearers which are Kitty

Slippers that I found inside of these but still not the ones I really want the really big ones I want would be like the food the infinite steak that would be fantastic or I would absolutely love the uh the bunny slippers which allow me to take fall damage it’s funny there’s

Another one literally right here come on and no artifact in that and it doesn’t appear to be any artifacts in these either a bummer man this cave area just has a ton of these oh I did it I did it I did it I did it it’s blown Up it’s like I scrambled to see if there was anything worth in there and there wasn’t there’s honestly just so much loot I don’t even know what to do with it right now I can’t even collect anymore my inventory is just completely filled there’s just too much now that

I’m back out of the caves let’s definitely make ourself a Quantum Catcher And I think we can make more than one of them definitely so now I have two Quantum catchers and what this is going to allow me to do is simply pick up any mob and this is a huge tool

Now we have many other tools that we could also use um but this is just a nice one since we already have access to it might as well now it tells me we have a cow inside of our catcher and just like that we’ve now managed to get

Oursel two cows that’s pretty easy now I definitely want this on me just in case there is hope that we can potentially put one of those creepers in some sort of farm yeah I would love to grab one of those cave creepers oh that’d be amazing

These guys just drop so much good stuff ah and it would be it would be an amazing farm now there is one last Farm I would like to set up right here in the center and that is going to be a villager farm that is going to automatically produce villagers this is

Going to cost Hoppers and we’re going to go with an incubator on the bottom this is where baby villagers will go in and then they will be output here and then we’ll end up going inside of this Barrel I believe did I set up the hopper

Correctly I believe I did um so the hopper needs to be facing into this barrel and then we will have like I said the uh the incubator here and then we’ll have another Hopper on top for right now and then that is where our breeder is

Going to go and I love easy villagers it’s so nice to have all of these in just one single block um and so with this we can go ahead and put two villagers in here and they’re going to breed now they do need food so they are

Going to need some sort of food source um so I am going to use another Hopper and I should be able to pop up here let’s actually grab these out they’re actually going to send everything down here aren’t they there we go um so we’ll have that place on top but they need

Food just like a normal farm and that’s going to come from the farmer so you actually get everything you need to Simply automate this and it’s in a stacking format this is going to I believe require a villager that’s who’s going to do the farming and then we just

Need to put the food in that it’s farming and that’s carrots so it’ll Farm the carrots the carrots will go into the hopper which will go into the breeder and then the breeder will output the babies the babies will then go into the hopper and go into the incubator and

Then the incubator when it is fully grown when the villagers are grown they’ll end up in this barrel and that’s amazing because we can then use all of those villagers for villager farming and there’s a ton of things in modded Minecraft that utilize villager traits so it’s definitely worth getting this

Set up and yeah Hoppers right now are not the most beautiful things in the world but it does get it done and we can always cover them up with the vanilla Style just simply placing some trap doors on there I don’t know if this is prettier than having just Hoppers but it

At least masks them now I think the only tool left really that we need is going to be silk touch and uh we should be able to get ourselves some silk touch by simply crafting a slime ball with this and that is probably one of the easiest

Ways I’ve ever gotten the silk touch book outside of villagers but this is still takes quite a bit of time so now we should have plenty I went ahead and upgraded my other iron pick pick that I had in my inventory and this one is going to receive silk touch it also has

Efficiency on it which kind of makes it a little bit nicer um but there we go we have the Dual pick setup which is in my opinion like the best thing I also went ahead and used the wool on this um so these traits are kind of interesting um

I believe if I’m holding this pickaxe we do get like a magnetic effect um on top of the magnet that our backpack already has so just a lot of a lot of interesting things today to cover now I only think after today we’re set up for

Success with all of this stuff that we now have it should make it a whole lot easier for me to start progressing through some other mods and we should be able to get into some ore processing and even a mob farm very very soon but now if that’s something you’re looking
