What the T30 had which was like 500 something armor 500 and something millimet of armor on the front front in plate for the turret which is absolutely insane and I understand why they nerfed it but it still frustrates me because that’s particularly why I wanted to run

That tank because it was supposed to be an extremely hyper armored uh Super Tank and uh a super heavy tank and they they they cut it down to like the bare minimum which means that it’s not much better than anything else at that tier while also being a premium while also

Being a seasonal thing so the only way to get it is through those coupons that are ridiculously overpriced using this game specific currency and all this other kind of garbage uh basically cash grabbed it to hell and it’s still not that great in the first place you know frustrating

Stuff but yeah that thing had like 500 something turret armor and it had like 203 mm of uh front end plate on on a lot of the areas as well but they reduced the front end plate to like 103 and they cut the turret armor down to like 200 something when the actual

Turret itself has like 300 and something and then they put like a 200 something uh replaceable plate in front of it so that if anything shot that tank on the turret it would do nothing even a lot of modern tanks would have trouble penetrating through that specific point

Of it but obviously every other part of that tank would just get run through like paper you know but the thing that I think they need to do with these games is they need a armor like penetration system to where the more impacts that armor takes and the

More damage those impacts do the higher percent chance that a shot that even doesn’t have doesn’t have any of the power that it requires to penetrate will penetrate which is how real armor Works inevitably it doesn’t matter how thick your armor is if it gets hit enough it’s going to punch through it

Right so I could sit there in the perfect position I could sit there with like the perfect tank I could set up with a T30 with like 500 armor on the front end they could only hit that specific point on the tank if I if I set it up

Perfectly all that kind of stuff inevitably they would kill me though is what I’m trying to get at I think that’s how it should play out like you’re you’re in a good spot you’re deflecting a lot of shots and stuff like that but the more damage they deal to you the

Weaker and weaker that plating gets it gets punched through it gets it gets dinged it gets penetrated ever so slightly all that kind of stuff over time happens to it no matter how durable the tank is so you know yeah that’s what I mean like I

Don’t think it should be super easy but it should be something that is doable to a degree I should be able to punch through like extremely hard armor even with a low penetration tank inevitably like and it’s just the way that they’ve designed some of the stuff kind of to

Times that my Churchill’s just been shot and just been immediately without being able to do anything whatsoever and it I don’t know I feel like the algorithm they use for their armor penetration basically instigate basically it it’s Center around a perfect shot every single time so wherever it hits there are no other

Mitigating factors besides where it hits if that makes any sense where in reality that’s not how it works there will always be other things uh it doesn’t seem like it seems like the only more penetration that matters is if it penetrates through say it penetrates through cover like say

Your tank is in cover and it penetrates through it because it’s destructible cover or something like that that doesn’t seem to reduce the kinetic impact of that shot at all so if it penetrated through a brick wall that collapsed or something like that that doesn’t reduce the impact of the shot at

All seemingly in War Thunder which is one of the things that frustrates me so I can use something for cover I can use like a tree for cover or anything like that it won’t skew the shot ever it never skews the shot then it will just

Go through and do maximum damage to me however it would if it would penetrate if it would penetrate flat on my armor uh another thing that’s absolutely hilarious is they have these bushes in the game too if you shoot that bush blocks it flat blocks it tiny little Bush gets completely

This one so this big sword will grant the one who was hit with it magical effects that will counter The Siege swords user that confuses me to no end like it’s a very hard-hitting durable sword but does that mean that if I hit somebody with it they get Buffs

Melee damage creates a wave Moonlight that explodes on contact with an En dealing magic damage okay magic damage is cool but how much magic damage and why magic I’m assuming it does the same amount as the attack yeah I can get a bunch of enchants that’s cool Enchanting
