EPIC Dirt Farm Build on Nardcraft! Day 97

For Hello hello hello so did a lot of work last night encrypted what’s going on dude and I got a pretty decent final design for this dirt farm that I’ve been working on uh I think I want to put it here right here in the industrial district uh the weird

Part about it it needs five conduits so first I want to see if this actually fits here load schematic it was definitely a chore because I ended up having to do two blast Chambers one for all the spruce and one for all of dirt but I’m pretty happy with it I think the

Only thing that I would maybe eventually like to add is a way to automatically have all of the um have my inventory get filled with spruce and have the spruce automatically grow nice I was tinkering with making dirt farm version yourself oh yeah did you uh did you find something simpler than my

Nonsense cuz this thing is uh well it got big it got big quick so this is the total size of it it actually does kind of fit here I’m trying to move the logs upward instead of sideways huh how would you do that with the tree above it

Oh oh interesting so you have a TNT duper over your head breaking the tree and you just keep pushing them up that is an interesting uh way of doing it I think what I want to do is rotate this cuz I think uh let me think about this I think

I want to rotate this because I don’t want the dirt farm to be the dirt to be there so were you were you blowing up the tree and the dirt with different um different things or did you have somehow the TNT also breaking it don’t get to

Keep the logs but I don’t really care about that yeah that’s kind of how I felt I don’t the logs don’t really matter honestly yeah I haven’t got to the dirt blast chamber yet the dirt blast chamber seems to be the easiest okay let’s so I

Think I want to see if it’s rotated this way if that is better it’s a little bit tighter that’s a little bit tighter but I don’t like how far this way it goes maybe the other way maybe we go this way would be nice if you could figure out

Some way to combine them but I don’t think that’s going to happen combine the blast chamber for both yeah so I I actually spent a little bit of time trying to do that the problem that I was running into is that because you needed a double piston extender to push uh both

Logs out I couldn’t get it to wrap around and get to this blast chamber in a way that felt clean enough to me um this feels tight and I’m slightly worried that that blast chamber might blow up the farm over here that’ be pushing the dirt a long

Ways I I guess I could have pushed the dirt towards the spruce but yeah I don’t know you’re currently using a double piston extender to break the stuff on top of the Moss blocks oh okay see I had tried the water idea at one point the problem is the leaves

But I guess if you’re pushing the spruce logs up and breaking it from the top you might be able to deal with uh the leaf Decay a little bit easier so I think uh I am slightly worried that this is too far over here I don’t know that I like

This um but yeah that’s the thing you got to remember remember is those leaves need to get broken maybe this needs to go over here maybe I’m trying to do this in the wrong spot maybe I push this back this way because I I want to have so the road

Is going to go through these two cross over this way and come up this way so maybe I put this back here it’s night time got to sleep got to sleep I’ve got it spread out further than yours too though kind of have a left and right side with two Cobble

Generators instead of going underneath uh the two cobble generator thing I saw I think El mango used um used the the stone generators from two directions the thing is at the end of the day you could only get unless are you doing two separate MTH um conversion points cuz the that was

What I didn’t want to do you have to have you the amount yeah two separate Moss yeah okay okay yeah the amount of moss that you get for one just didn’t I don’t know it didn’t feel necessary I don’t know how much more I’d really gain if I tried to do it from

Both sides uh or if it would just be too complicated overall uh um okay do I like this position I don’t no don’t think I do uh what I could do though hold on here I want to I’m like trying to think about this from um a planning perspective here if

I do this in the right figuration like this I could almost have the road this going to be way too far out not really this blast chamber might be a little bit too close to this but we could actually use the blast chamber over there as a thing and then this kind

Of nicely goes around that this could be good because if I do this then the road snakes over up this way Forks this way and then I use this to like start curving it over there and then this one comes up and I could do like another

Farm over here that actually feels like a really good placement for this I think that’s probably the correct height too we’re going to lock we’re going to oh it’s directional the farm is actually directional I forgot about that I almost really boned myself here so okay hold on

We got to go look and see which which way it can face uh because the conduits have to face a very specific Direction so this is facing south okay so so we needed to be facing south I almost screwed that up hardcore uh that would have been really bad okay so the

Conduits are facing north H ho okay so that definitely let me just double check myself check measure twice cut once right uh that would have been really bad okay so I am facing south they are facing south yeah okay so it definitely has you okay so I need to rotate it

Um one two so I can’t actually it has to be this way and then the conduits are facing south okay that’s kind of a bummer kind of a bummer but I guess what are you going to do uh so that does that change what I want to do I don’t

Know could be interesting to try sneaking it there so the road how does that change my road position so the road could come up over under the blast chamber I don’t love that idea I don’t like that idea at all don’t like it at all not one be um

Theoretically I believe there’s two directions it can go I think these need to be either fa facing south or east oh but this side needs to yeah I guess I guess it’s probably safer not to try and rotate it okay so yeah I don’t like this here cuz it cuts off Cuts

Things off too much even if I bring this over how far over can we go say this was like over here do I have enough to make a walkway I actually kind of do if I bring this over here and put the blast chamber there and kind of use

This oh uh this might work this might be okay this might be okay so walkway if I line this up with this walkway could still come there this sits on this and this kind of sits on this it’s kind of interesting and the blast Chambers don’t intersect and I

Could actually even bring this walkway up and connect it over here if I push this out a little bit I think I don’t think I can actually I can a little bit I can I can what’s the biome border here let’s see the biome border and see how much I can extend

This into oh okay I have like two blocks I could go one two and now I’m still in a mushroom Island there let me make sure it’s height wise the same yeah I could even bring it out one more if I wanted to I don’t know that I

Need to what’s the width of this road 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 if I were to put a road here I’d want 10 spaces in between so that would be 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 um I think I got to go here I don’t have

To expand that out but I might have to terraform this up a little bit but then I can bring the road around this way connect it to the road here and snake it up to this part of the thing okay that works that definitely uh uh okay

So I think I have everything on this list oh wait is this height good should I lower this I think I should lower it a little bit actually that too much last chamber yeah we will I’ll keep it a little bit higher because I need to

Have the water streams for stuff oh you know what’s going to be annoying about this I somehow will have to re do where I’m getting the bone meal intake cuz I think now if the bone meal is coming from here I might want to try and redo the bone meal intake from other

Side that’s fine and then this whole Contraption uh will probably get pushed over and line up with I’m going to have to figure out how to also work in the dirt going back to the back here with me okay I am going to line this up and lock that in

Uh and let’s see here we can ignore these we’re not oh actually I guess we technically can’t ignore those we’re going to switch what we build but let’s just confirm five conduits huh that’s what we get to go do now that’s the fun part of this stream cuz

Lower level really couldn’t think of anything else so we’re going we’re going with those but I’m good I just I’m realizing how much I’m going to have to do just get the stupid conduits for this Farm not I thought I had more stuff for conduits but I guess I don’t

Fortunately so we need four hearts of the sea and then what is it eight Nautilus shells for each so 32 Nautilus shells okay then I definitely don’t right no hearts of the sea nothing else Um I don’t think so okay we’re going on an adventure I do need more ritas also where’s my bed it seems to have lost my bed take one of these beds um we have plenty of food just fill up on the Rockets uh I actually feel like I should

Take more Rockets cuz we might have to really do some exploring here okay we’re going to we’re going to we’re going to lay back for the Long Haul of this one yeah I don’t think I’d have any of the conduit stuff over here so we’re going

To have to go check out my main base um and see if I have any at my starter base I really don’t think I do there’s no other way to get Nautilus shells right I guess a Wandering tra but that’s I don’t have like a Wandering Trader farm so that seems not

Doable uh okay what do we have here this is like the first pickaxe I made this is like my first tools on the server um nothing there nothing there nothing there nothing there CU they’re all just heads uh that’s empty nothing there nothing there do I go

Fishing should I go fishing for this stuff I could do that I doubt there’s going to this is all just garbage garbage a lot of garbage more garbage oh boy okay well do you get Nautilus shells from fishing right so I could go fishing and I definitely

Need that would probably take a long time fishing you think fishing would take longer what’s the better way to do it then fishing or go and try and find drown I should get myself a fishing pole because I do think it might come down to that at some point potentially I got mine

From drowns but I didn’t try fishing yet okay let’s let’s uh let’s make a fishing rod all of my string is not here do I have any string here I have any string in my Ender Chest I might have string in my Ender Chest I try and be prepared but I think

This is one of those times I could break the cobwebs but cobwebs are okay it’s fine we’ll just go get some string I feel like if you have like an overpowered um fishing rod like lur what is it lur three or is it lur lur lure lur lore

2 wow your chests are very organized that’s nothing that’s not even my main storage I’ve been trying to get all of my storage moved over here this is where the string is this is going to be a massive storage Island basically storing almost everything in the game and I’ve started building up

Different stuff of it and it’s here because like all of the Farms are over there so they’re all emptying out over here and they’re like in sections so like this section is all stuff that comes from a bartering Farm the bartering Farm actually goes through the

Nether then I have a chunk loader there that brings it into the Overworld and then over to here uh what 1 2 3 so like there’s this section here which is all my bartering Farm stuff then all the Wood Farms that you can kind of see in the distance

There and then all of this stuff is the raid Farm which you can see there so all of it are going to be very interesting I basically want to have all of the farms on the server kind of dumped here uh okay so we got ourselves a

Fishing rod uh I might might actually have some villagers with the enchantments necessary for it I got to look grab some emeralds grab some books and take a look I definitely have mending and Unbreaking I don’t know about lore or luck of the sea lore lure why is that so

Hard to say um okay let’s get some books bending Unbreaking we’ll just grab all of because we might have to combine some to make this work right um I don’t have them labeled for the kind of books that I don’t really use so we might have to do a little digging

Okay you have mending you have anything else no you have Unbreaking do you have anything else silk touch and paling what this power one no oh I’m just realizing like I wouldn’t be able to get this from vill if they Implement that new Sonic oh right people named these I forgot uh if

They implement the new villager thing I’d have I’d have to use uh an enchanting setup to get these you’re just sweeping Edge strier flame but what else do you have sharpness okay nothing good there but you respiration three silk touch multi-shot cursive binding did villagers still give curses in that

Update could you get cursive binding from a specific villager oh my gosh I’m just realizing if they get rid of the ability to buy cursive binding books I will lose my mind um W I’m not seeing any oh lure three okay so it is three I need to check that out cuz I

Will put up a stink not that I’m anybody to put up a stink but maybe if I made other people aware of it the the real people could put a stink okay so I guess we’re just missing lock of the sea let’s go look and see if I can maybe

Get that on my enchanting setup there’s a chance I might might have grabbed it and saved it cursive binding can be bought from Savannah villagers okay thank God oh my God that’s so important for for my barter farm that is very I didn’t remember seeing the curse

Vanishing cursive binding is really the only one that matters I think Anarchy servers use it a lot though I guess that makes sense because then if you die your enemy can’t pick up your stuff in which case they that’s that’s smart I could understand that okay we’re really we’re getting

Stuff quickly but it’s nothing good I I this is huh makes it a lot of work to get nothing to kill somebody geared up yeah I don’t I don’t understand the uh logic behind it but I I’ve I’ve never played on one okay that I got a lot of fish quickly

But not a lot of good stuff stuff and I guess the conduit the not the conduits the um not shells don’t matter if we can’t find four more uh sea things harder the Seas so I guess what we’re going to do is there a string in there of course

There was I’m going to go this way kind of far and we’re going to hunt in the new chunks for boats there’s a boat I don’t know if that’s new we’re going to go look though we’re going go look and I I’ve gotten very good at finding treasure now that I know

The uh the chunk technique it’s really easy to find where the treasure is it’s very dark here is there not a chest on this side there doesn’t appear to be a chest on this side okay so this was a bust this was a bust I think we want to keep

Going is the sun rising over there I think we want to go where the sun rises so East further okay there’s an ocean Monument yeah East I’m pretty sure East is like fairly Uncharted Territory I know Vic has her Island East but I think it’s more Southeast okay so here we go o

Diamond uh what is the chunk technique uh it’s it so if you have um hard to explain without actually doing it uh let’s see if we could find one real quick so we can do it um but there’s a specific spot in a chunk where you stand very treasure map but it doesn’t

Actually have anything okay um and you’re always guaranteed to get the treasure there we were going east and I think it was 99 on the chunk so if we can find a treasure map I can show you how that works so it’s easy to find the treasure

It’s just right now pain in the butt finding treasure maps if we get to the coast we’ll go along aha aha let’s take a look here this is a fairly built out ship this is almost complete okay nothing there it is emptied which doesn’t make me feel positive about the situation treasure

Maps what about this room o okay so we got a treasure map okay so let’s see if this is good so North we want to go north east so it’s probably somewhere over here get out water gone too far got to go south uh okay straight East somewhere over this way yeah okay

So North I’ve gone too far North North North no South South South South come on okay okay okay so you get yourself kind of over where it is and then you bring up your chunk borders and your positioning so we’re in the right chunk based off of where that is and

Then what you want to do let’s got this out of my hand here oh where’s my shovel okay so there are next to where it says um block 26457 1 right underneath your coordinates there are three numbers 84 and 5 oh somebody already found it so basically

Though and they put the treasure map in it if you look right here yeah 99 so the treasure will always be at the coordinates 99 in a chunk so as long as that says by the Block in the brackets nine whatever nine that’s where the treasure will always be

And somebody already got that treasure so we got to go further out then let’s go to the other side of all of this stuff could find one hopefully we could find one that nobody has taken and you could really see it cuz that was kind of cheaty considering

It was oh we’re we’ve made it to cat Kingdom uh okay so maybe East was not wow they’ve expanded they have expanded uh okay so we actually want to go Northwest then so that’s a couple two two people on the server made that area um I always

Just do it from the map where if you come from the north and are centered with one pixel I can’t see the pixel the number of times I’ve tried to do that it’s so tiny it d i just maybe I’m not good enough to like see it I don’t know but I

I always just go by the number because it’s just too much of a pain for me to be like am I on the pixel am I off the pixel I can never tell I’d have to be like shoving my face against the monitor to truly see it okay here this looks

Like a different ocean perhaps we’re going to follow this Coastline this is a cool area this is actually a very cool area um let’s see we need a ship give me a ship there’s an ocean Monument need a ship somewhere please okay that dies there so we’ll go this

Uh a thing to pregenerate all the chunks so nope that does that definitely does not look new okay so I wouldn’t even know if like the chunks are being newly generated 100% uh is there another one anywhere I don’t see one somebody definitely stole that one though okay we keep

And cliffs part two dropped uh okay okay that’s when we switch the season over I need to be going south I think we’ll go Southeast what is that oh that is uh one of those things okay actually is there more might be good to go further this way and get

Even further away from the mainland that’s kind of cool if I can get to more ocean you know technically aren’t there ships under the ice that might be too difficult to like find though I don’t know that I want to try and find under the ice

We go uh we got more ocean I am at risk of finding a ship and then having the treasure being outside the world border here oh I’ve run into the world border I have I we only expanded the world border once when we updated the server to is that natural blue ice what

The heck is this um when we updated the server to get the deep dark and mangrove swamps since then this is a natural forming thing of blue ice I didn’t know that was possible uh I had no idea blue ice form naturally I thought you always had to craft blue

Ice that’s crazy good to know though cuz blue ice is expensive to make and this stuff is super valuable in the Farms I’m going to grab a stack of this while we’re here that’s wild that is wild can’t believe we found that I might want to mark this in case I

Need more blue ice in the future cuz it’s like nine packed ice to get one blue ice best way to get is to to is to mine it yeah icebergs are the way to go I just I never knew that blue ice actually form naturally it’s it’s one of
