EPIC LOOT! Chosen’s Minecraft 1.13 Nether Adventure

Hey guys welcome back this is Jose an architect today we’re gonna be venturing that’s right venturing into the nether I hope you guys are ready today we have quite a bit to do I want to like I said last episode I want to go ahead and get

A nether portal set up and we’re to do that today but we also need to get a few other things done I would prefer to go to like sites somewhere in this direction possibly and see where landfall hits and if it is a different biome so the way we can possibly gather

Some cows at least enough to get some leather a little bit of food some stuff like that maybe even gather some more trees but before we do all that I would like to kind of one thing build a little bit and then I actually want to show you

Guys this right now or at least right now I want to show you this um so I worked on this just a little bit before the episode started and I would have had made a like a little storage room this is gonna be like we restore a bunch of

Items and chests and stuff like that and what I’m gonna do is I’m gonna split each individual chests in its own individual section and I just noticed this actually needs to change this cannot be a solid block that has to be half has to be these stairs and we’ll

Put upside down stairs here that way we can have our chests here but this is gonna be like I said our little storage room and each one is going to be its each individual section each individual individual chest and that should look pretty good but yeah it’s just the

Underneath section of our little house and I thought it would look like really good I thought it fit perfectly underneath this little thing and then like I moved this out just one and you can’t even tell it looks like honestly this was just here the whole time saying

With all of this but we’re gonna make this path curved around this island here and I may have to make another shovel because like I said this is going to curve through here and we’re actually going to be curving through this mountainside being very careful what we

Do and we’re gonna wrap around the other side of this little mountain here and this is where we’re gonna put that nether portal I want this away from the main section of the base I don’t care if it’s near the enchanting table that actually adds some really nice ambient

Sound to the enchantment table but it does cause a lot of a lot of noise and I don’t want that near our base I don’t want that near our main crafting area all right so we just went through our first shovel so let’s go ahead and make

Another shovel real quick and what we’re gonna do is we’re gonna enchant this thing that’s what I’ve been doing with the small amount of levels that I have I’ve just been putting like efficiency one very small things they do help though even though small small small things do help out greatly I’m gonna

Grab some more torches and I’m mainly searching for some sticks there we go and yeah we’ll grab one lapis that’s all we need I think for this one lapis gonna be a Tier one enchant and we’ll get that done real quick I have not been mining I

Did find a dolphin friend and I did go swimming with the dolphin it was actually kind of fun so let’s go and throw this in here there we go and then we’ll get efficiency one really nice and chant just I mean it’s super helpful for getting through this early early grind

You know very helpful and I’m just gonna kind of round this out making this look as if we did not tear form it at all like this was all natural and we’ll move our way around the side this is where we’re gonna go now these trees this tree

In particular is going to have to go and I will take all that wood because that will become very handy here shortly there we go and yeah we’re gonna probably go down from here I want this to be down a couple levels just like that perfect and this can actually just

Extend and what we’ll do is we’ll go up a level somewhere around here and that can be filled in right there perfect okay so let’s go get the building materials that were gonna need we need a little bit of wood and then the main bit

You guys know what that is it’s a nether portal and we still have to adventure into the nether we have yet to do that so I’m kind of looking forward to doing so let’s go ahead and find where all of our planks are they’re there and we’re

To make a few more because I know we’re gonna run into a situation we’re going to need more and making logs I did go ahead and move my tree farm so we can get a bit more looks like we have a pretty good farm over there and then

This guy it has efficiency one but I really wish ahead unbreaking on it at least that’s that one gin chant early game it is really nice you don’t have to worry about making as many items whenever you have it in chant all right so we’re gonna slowly work our way over

Here doing things such as this I am going to just use this method sort of going down same here this is gonna be the level we stay on let me get through these leaves and get through you perfect and we’re just gonna wrap this around to

Nother snack say I want this thing all the way wrapped around so it’s literally going around the backside and then we’re gonna have to carve out the backside as well just like that perfect you don’t want that going up we’re pretty much gonna be carrying ourself over here as you can

See we will be pilling into this section and I hope I’m not cutting into anything and I hope I’m not cutting into the other side that’s what I’m trying to avoid this will need to be four wide and pretty tall as we are gonna fit this

Inside this wall same as we did with our enchantment table it is back a bit oh yeah that’s right we do have that little cave that is back here what you’re gonna help out we don’t have to mine out as much right alright so let’s start hammering this out and we’ll see how

This goes I am gonna probably use cobblestone for right now I think I want to get some materials from the nether once we do find out what or another looks like I will grab some materials from there and we’ll actually use those materials for the building of making this thing look a little

Made it so you had to go down to the cave but that doesn’t make any sense to me since we kind of want these things on the surface for the most part I think this is gonna look good so let’s kind of get the base idea of our portal okay I

Want I wanted to probably be right here one two three four this is gonna be where to outline it with we ran a line with cobblestone and just to see how tall this thing is and how it fits in here right so it fits in right right there pretty good pretty

Good we’ll sort of enclose this up like that this will also end up getting enclosed like I said we’ll have special things back behind it it just I want it to not be so protruding at the moment and we’ve already closed in that back area so it

Should be fine all right and like I want to do you want to clear this clear this out a little bit well we’ll kind of decorate this a little bit more let’s cover this up we have a bunch of dirt so let’s make use of it we can almost disguise this as if

It was just buried inside the dirt this whole time like that maybe add some pits in here like for right now do that I think that works that works pretty well like this alright so we have the outline for our nether portal let’s go ahead and get it we actually don’t need

The corner so we can save ourself a little bit of obsidian we don’t have to place too much down I do want to make sure this gets covered up so that way we can do that there we go that will work all right so it’s it’s nighttime it’s really getting

Getting pretty dark I will get logs on these sides here once we get enough of that but for right now this is about as good as it’s gonna get getting us to our portal here what we can do is probably do this as well let’s take this down

Take this down a notch just a bit it’s getting dark we got to watch out got mom’s probably spawning on us or near us there we go all right so I’m gonna go ahead and I’m gonna pop in get some sleep and I’ll be right back alright so

Our little area is pretty much complete we’re gonna go ahead and get our obsidian well maybe place down in the right spot wow what a noob fail right there I wonder how many people have actually done that just oops place the obsidian in the wrong spot fail you’re right from the start

Wow okay so our little portal is done I think it might be better if we two even do that open it up a little bit yeah I like that alright so we have this now we need to take our flint and steel go ahead and get this lit up and we’ll make

Our way into the nether oh boy I am kind of curious actually vanilla minecraft nether is a little different right Oh worse nightmare come on notice me mm-hmm notice me this is literally the worst thing is to de-spawn in here come on load up oh it’s like really struggling

Oh yeah oh we’re gonna get this oh no no maybe not maybe not maybe not oh boy I’m gonna get you one way or another you need me to raise up a little bit we’re gonna have two of us on two of them on us oh oh oh we almost got a

Double kill we almost had a double kill All right I gotta be careful we got him and suckers they didn’t even stand a chance oh man well we are on a really really rough area um let’s get our portal protected I brought some stuff I I don’t want this to be blown up by anything

This would be the worst thing just to have this immediately like we almost did like that is like the normal spawn for me sometimes you just spawn in BAM you’re getting attacked it’s pretty rough all right so this is our another right we need to kind of peek around get a

Look look see for where we’re going lay down torches as we go so we always can find our path nice all right so I think some soul saying would definitely be nice to grab while we’re here might as well if anything decoration blocks what do you think of these new textures

By the way me and I’m liking the new nether textures like this stuff actually looks much much much smoother like in not so grainy if that was the big problem like the the textures were super grainy in the with the old textures but this looks really good

There art that looks like a giant hole in the ground does it not alright so a few things we’re gonna need to get guess we can grab some of this we also of course need to grab some netherrack like why not we’ll grab some of this quartz is like

One of those things in vanilla minecraft that’s like like normal like art that it’s actually kind of hard to find how are you doing how are you doing mr. Pigman I don’t know what I’m doing but it’s probably very dangerous alright so we’ve a lava pool okay so I don’t see

Any glowstone like real nearby which is going to pose an issue because I would actually like to get some glowstone pretty early on also finding a fortress would be great normally if you if for me anyways if you head in just one direction you always run into it and normally it’s

The direction that my portal is facing so if I walk out of the portal normally I would end up finding one but I don’t think that I’m on the ground level is the best here what is this weird path do you see that that is weird umm okay

Let’s see if we take us downward hopefully we don’t run into any lava alright I guess it’s time for you super pick you’re a super pick in the nether that’s for sure all right let’s there we go So yeah what is up with this that’s such a weird like weird path I need to follow this I hear a guest a ventures with chosen architect in the nether right I was hoping maybe it’s like a path that leads you to another fortress how cool

Would that be if that’s actually a thing that’s been added I don’t know if it’s a thing oh there’s some mushrooms you take those there’s a little magma slime grab some more this quartz we could definitely use this this will help a lot with our redstone contraptions when we

Start setting those up soon now that we’re here we can actually start making a few of those little redstone farms and stuff like that and we have enough iron so of course we’re gonna do that one of the first ones I’d like to make is like a sugar

Cane farm it’d be really nice gonna sugar cane farm melon farm all of those good farms like that are very helpful early on especially for food automation all right here a little slime it is over here somewhere right it’s over here somewhere this glowstone patch is really

Tempting by the way alright let’s keep heading in one direction we’ve gotta find that fortress I don’t think we’re ready for the fortress but we need to at least get to it right all right I’m gonna work work my way over here this is super sketchy but if I

Leave a trail of torches I should be able to find my way there we go these are kind of like veins what it looks like they’ve changed the way that this the soul sand spawns and it’s kind of weird actually in my opinion ooh there’s some of those magma magma

Blocks we might be able to use those let’s walk our way over here we’ll farm a few of them there we go well NAB these are right up don’t know how many we’re gonna need but I will just be sure to grab a few all right so now that we’re

Out of that where do we need to go we maybe need to go push forward or something push forward somewhere there’s bound to be something over here like we’ve will eventually run into a fortress we just got to get to one now all right let’s

Pillar our way up work our way back up here torch to find my way all right so I’m gonna keep going in this direction guys till we find something I’m super interested to seeing what may lead us in this direction or if we find a fortress

That’s the igneel to me go like you go here you go to find the fortress and we’re gonna find it guys I literally walked like I was literally just right there walked around and look my impatience did not pay off I still wanted to find this on camera and

Not decide to spawn and wreck art day because yeah I have like all my good stuff on me and I know going back to the to base would not be the most ideal situation we’re almost here I think we’ll actually have this pillar like right up to the

Front door yeah super cool look at that we got the advancements oh boy how perfect loot that’s what I’m talking about we’re gonna grab all of that oh good loot and these chests I’m just gonna take the chests cuz right now I’m at a point in the game where I need more wood

Have yet to go in get wood Oh blaze blaze blaze blaze please give me something good did you give me a blaze rod oh we did you did oh no into the fire we got our first blaze rod oh that’s so good Oh what can we get here

By the way does this work is this something that you can do no I I didn’t know in modded minecraft if he throw I don’t know if it’s the same in here I don’t think so if you throw stuff in there you actually get things back I’m gonna take this as

Food I hope to not get lost in this maze that’s why I was placing torches oh there’s something that I want to look into also there’s a spawner for blaze rod okay I just wanted to make sure I got my torches place down Oh super nice is there active is there an active

Spawner up there it doesn’t look like there’s a spawner there’s a spawner here though we’re gonna take a vanish oh yeah we got another blaze rod come on guys spawn spawn spawn this is a really good spawner actually wow this is like a like a really good spot like it’s already enclosed in

Everything I think it’d make it better is maybe opening this up a little bit giving a little bit more room I think spawners only need to high to spawn stuff so technically I’m just giving them a little bit more room to run around ow so I didn’t want to happen was to get

Hit but oh well all right so we found that that’s a good place it’s a good place right here good place I’m gonna go ahead I’m actually going to like the corner like that corner so I’ll remember possibly when I come back but that is there I’ve yet to find any wither to

Possibly kill them but I I need nether warts and whither so nether wart will most likely be inside one of them big the big rooms which I don’t see one don’t see like a big room I mean there’s one there potentially it’s over here I think I’m probably just went down the

Wrong stairway it’s probably inside this building so let’s go back I don’t literally all I have to get is the nether wart and I’m good I just got to find it what direction would you be in and in some more chests as well all right it’s getting kind of cozy in here

Getting kind of warm do I see another I’m not finding it I know it’s in here somewhere just not not opening it right away all right I’m gonna keep looking keep doing my searching searching around hopefully we get into it with her fight would that be nice

Oh speak of it to the devil right here well I actually like this sword the sword is actually pretty good three hits on an iron sword that never happens but this thing has sharpness one and unbreaking the sharpness kind of helps alright let’s go down here OOP there’s another chest ooh

Diamond horse armor we’ve yet to look for a horse oh here it is here it is all right so that’s the last little bit that we needed now we still need some glowstone I think but we now have potions and that’s exactly what I wanted

Was a stuff so I can get potions OOP we have another chest and I’m gonna go ahead and grab these keep forgetting that I do need to pick those up is there another chest down here possibly there’s a ghast I don’t think a guess is what I want to play with right

Now all right let’s go pick these chests back up perfect oh boy stay back you fiend stay back come here all right stay back perfect oh I got a coal coal from that fella all right so let’s follow our our trail back this that’s a dangerous place

Ow oh he almost knocked me down there that wouldn’t have been very fun all right there is another chest down here and another one of you things are getting real it sounds super loud Oh a little magma cream all right come here I did not want wither but he gave it to

Me anyways oh that had loot in it didn’t even know it I think this will probably have loot in it as well I don’t think I’ve been down here yet what’s kind of sitting in it well that is very nice thanks for giving us obsidian to chess more ups ideon oh boy

And nether work like we couldn’t have gotten luckier three chess all one after another Wow okay let’s get rid of our dirt I don’t need that just gonna take these chests though perfect wow this is actually quite a nice plate I play through I am running pretty low on food

Though so yeah we need to get back like now because I have no food no wood on me and that is not a good thing so yeah oh boy we have to make our way back to the – home soon I think this might be the

Way back though I think this might just be the way back yes it is but we do have our our area blocked with a blaze and we have another blaze rod just like that and we have to make sure we we watch out cuz there is a gas nearby whoo

Okay guys the only thing I have left to do which I think I’ll grab on my way back is some glowstone we’re pretty close to having that done our health is pretty low we need to avoid every contact with every type of mob we could possibly think of at this point we are

Very vulnerable and stay away from lava that is another thing that we need to but I want to keep mine out for some glowstone I think there is some over here yeah I think that’s the probably that our best bet when it comes to glow stone is this little section over here

Um how do I get down from here oh I went around oh boy and I had to go around the slava like that perfect yeah I’m gonna keep keep my eye out for some of that on the way back oh this is really sketchy really sketchy stuff there I think this

Is the one yeah this is the this is the one oh there’s some right here I will totally take this is this is the stuff that you want Oh perfect so yeah I’m gonna meet you guys back at the base it is gonna take just a second for me to

The chance to do that that’s okay though kind of run out of time here but we did get everything done that I wanted to get done in the the nether which is super awesome normally I don’t find the nether fortress on the first girl it normally

Never happens I don’t know what is going on super luck but uh we did go ahead and nab a bit of loot I would say and then of course this could be for brewing we might actually have our brewing stands in here I think but some brewing stands in here and

They’d fit they would look really good in our little storage area but as you can see this is how I’m gonna set up my storage room and then right here is gonna have even more storage but this should work for right now I can’t believe we netted eight obsidian we
