Hello hello hello hello hello hello hello hello hello welcome back it’s good to see you again hope you’ve been well I’ve been you know less dead in the past uh as you can see I died I died off camera doing a mining trip it was worthwhile mining trip even even Considering the death it was worthwhile but it’s uh kind of unfortunate but I’m going to have to uh start this by getting my stuff back or well actually to be honest I’ve kind of I’ve kind of given up on my stuff it’s it’s too far away and it’s not really Worth it but I’m just going to replace it and it won’t be that bad it’ll be fine but let me give you a tour of the new BL for now and then and then we’ll work on that so as you know new floating island it’s a bit funky looking but I’m Going to make it beautiful at some point uh so I’ve cut out this area and this is going to be my create Workshop it’s going to be also my temporary everything work Workshop I don’t have any other Workshop so this is where I’m going to be putting create machines and things That I need to smelt and do all other kinds of bulk processing and then down here I’ve moved all my storage so all my storage is now up on the island in all these uh drawers so I can easily see everything I’ve got it’s pretty much full I’ve got like 1,000 Redstone magma Uh as you can see I’m going to have to do some organizing cuz the organization well there isn’t any there really isn’t any organization yet I’ve got a new backpack it’s smaller I’ve got some things here for unstackable items and then if we go over here I’ve got a new Elevator cuz I can’t be going all the way back to my starter old starter base every single time I need something or every time I need to get down so here is my elevator and I’m going to make this look good at some point don’t Worry about it uh so here’s the top of my base as you can see the the base is pretty vast so lot of space to work with lot of things I can do and one of the things I want to do is make the whole base feel really alive as you can see I’ve got plenty of cave space as well it’s not really a cave but it kind of looks like it one of things I want to do is I want this place to feel alive and luckily I’ve got a mod that will do just that the arsn noo magic mod I can create Like all these Farms that’ll be automated but they’ll look organic you won’t see Machinery everywhere instead you’ll see little creaters live Critters running around harvesting things it’ll be like there are magical animals living here like this is a place removed from the world below up here there be magic Uh so I’m going to have to get started with the magic mod and that’s what I’m going to do just as soon as I uh get a little armor going I did a mining trip and I got a lot of stuff I got like 50 Diamonds uh a bunch of iron I’ve got 121 iron in here I think I have that doesn’t even count what I’d mind where’s my iron ore I need to smelt that up I was wondering why I had sold a little iron uh the iron ore uh 70 gold or so the Storage needs organizing organizing but it it works for now uh is this my iron ore no that’s silver am I blind I can’t find it I know I have it I’ve got iron nuggets what does iron ore look like again there it is 200 raw iron so I Should be set for now I don’t have a furnace though uh so that’s going to be a bit of a headache I also have plenty of coal fuel thankfully okay get some basic tools going too so what I can do here is I can click left Click to get one right click to put one or I can shift to get a stack so say I want a stack of diate I shift click and I get a whole stack the way I moved everything up here is using these ender chests so any Ender Chest that has The same color pattern will share inventories so I’ve got another one of these at the starter base and I used pipes to pull all my items from my chest into here and pipes up here to pull items out of this into the spruce drawers I’m going to want the first Thing I’m going to want to get my magic Journey going well after I get food I’m going to need food I other than that I’m going to need is a book a mage book a Nova spell book I had one earlier but of course you know I died uh so let’s get a Book combine that with all our tools and we’ve got a novice spell book now let me just get all my tools back so the way this works is when you’re holding it and press C You Can Craft Spells so the way you Craft Spells is you unlock these Glyphs and I’ll show you how you do that in a bit but say I wanted to create a potion or a spell that like sets things on fire at a distance then I would create projectile ignite ignite gun and then I hit create I can also change the color Of this say I want it to be orange or I want it to make a um different sound and I can do that right click and this uses Mana from down here to create fire and I can press n to see all my spells I don’t have any other spells Because I lost my spell book but once you unlock a glyph it’s unlocked for you forever first thing first I want an attack tool so I’m using projectile harm and then amplify to make the harm stronger and that’s going to be attack I want a breaking Spell so I touch a block I want to be able to break it create and let’s say that should be green and what if I want to break blocks that are far away from me I can do that too create and let’s say that’s green also so here’s my far breing Spell here’s my short range breaking spell and here’s my attack spell simple very simple and say I want to summon a horse say if I’m on slot 10 uh touch summon deed then I can right click and it summons a temporary horse gives me Summoning Sickness so I can’t Summon anything for a little bit it’s not a very fast horse but it’ll get the job done of course this one won’t I don’t know why I did that um oh well it doesn’t matter can summon another one here’s how I get new glyphs to make new spells if I take my spell Book right click on the scribes table these are all the Spells I can get and to get them I need experience and these items so say I want to make an orbit spell I would click this select it and then give it these items now I can’t do That cuz I don’t have any experience but I’ll I’ll be able to get experience pretty quickly I want to go down here and grab some skull catalysts to mine for experience uh so my Warden Farm deposits down here so let me just grab some skull catalysts I’ve been giving some of these Around away away is the word not around by the way here’s the other Ender Chest I don’t need it to be down here anymore so let’s just break it and bring it up these uh pipes also or a novel way to move items if I take a pipe say I have It here I plug in an extraction module I put items in here it’ll pull them out and move them wherever they can go very simple handy way to move stuff so one of the things I want to do is uh I want to upgrade my spell book I Mean don’t get me wrong this is a good one it’s actually quite powerful but the thing is look at all these tier 2 glyphs I can’t use any of these until I get a tier 2 spell book so if I want that I’m going to take the current spell book Combine it with quartz obsidian diamonds and blaze rods to get the Mage spell book there we go and I’ve got a mage’s Spellbook so now I can access quite a few more spells and it should also increase my Mana so I can fire a handful just a few more Spells than I could before so to build these Farms I’m going to need a bookworm which is a familiar that you can spawn that can do spells for you including farming so what I’m going to need is this a bookworm charm which is completed by augmenting a ritual of Awakening with A book and quill you know what uh arso has a book that should explain how everything in the mod works but I don’t know where I’ve put it I can’t find it the warn notebook do I have that oh yeah there we go so here’s my documentation guide so what I need is The where is it Bookworm it’ll pick up new items and experience orbs Throne items will not be picked up okay obtained by performing the ritual of binding near a bookworm how do I get a bookworm can I spawn a bookworm okay so I can use a storage Lecturn that could be handy for crafting too so I need an enchanting apparatus to make a storage lect turn Okay so it seems like that’s the first step is get an enchanting apparatus so an enchanting apparatus is simple crafting sore Stone with these things Source stone is made how that’s just Stone Around a source gem which is made in an imbuement chamber okay so that’s actually the first step making an imbuement chamber which is archwood and gold that’s actually quite cheap uh I know I have archwood somewhere there we go there’s the archwood okay so if I take deep slate Around a source gem we get Source Stone can use that to make an enchanting apparatus and we want an imbuement chamber as well which we need the planks for and more gold okay so let’s head up to the workshop and place these down now I eventually I’d like to make a whole area for arsn noo stuff but for now it’s going to be just wherever wherever it can go let me get a couple Hoppers I’d like to um automate this so the way Source gems are made is just by putting lapis in There so I just want to make a stack of those hopefully I can use that with hopefully I can use hoppers for this okay put a chest there uh that’s doesn’t quite work it’s going to have to be a little more complicated than that huh here’s what I Can do actually I can take advantage of these pipes I Got apply an extraction upgrade filter it items in filter are allowed so now only things in the filter can be taken out and we’ll have Source gems so now this is going to craft continuously basically in fact let me just get a couple more Stacks in there hopefully This is going to do as I think so once this is done it should turn into a source Gem and get pulled out by the extractor doesn’t this look cool it looks magical I really like ours noo stuff it’s just so pretty and then I get sucked out unlimited Source chance Excellent now the enchanting apparatus let me just put that over I don’t know yet here here or So now this I need Arcane pedestals around it and then I can use them to craft things with the enchanting apparatus okay so let me get my War notebook to get a storage Le I need Lecter surrounded by chests so I’m going to need at least four pedestals but I’m Going to go ahead and make eight cuz I know or um cuz I know there are recipes that require eight pedestals Arcane pedestal it’s just a source gem gold nuggets and Source Stone that’s affordable especially now that I have Source gems automated there we go that’s One out of eight so I’m going to have to wait for that um to process a lot more Source gems now this can be sped up by providing it with source which is like Mana or magic or whatever um um but I don’t quite have access to do That yet I will soon I will soon now while I’m waiting for Source gems I’m also going to need a lot of dirt so let me go ahead call the elevator and get to mining some dirt I made this elevator go all the way down To the ground so now I’ll be able to bring animals up without having to worry about tigers as well but of course right now just looking for the dirt there are a bunch of other useful spells I can make for example I can do touch conjure Mage Light create and let’s make That I don’t know uh I guess we can keep that red and there we go Mage Light the nice thing about mining with magic is I don’t have to use up the durability on my tools I can save quite a lot of resources but I don’t quite Enough have enough enough Mana regen yet to mine continuously in the future hopefully it’s also a bit glitchy once you have a if you have a laggy connection you can actually increase your Mana capacity increase or Source capacity and it’s quite easy to do all you have to do is continue researching New spells new glyphs and you can increase what you’re able to do the more glyphs you unlock the more you can the more Mana capacity you have at some point I probably won’t even need to carry tools I’ll just use the uh the book for everything it’ll be a Weapon it’ll be a sword oh that’s a weapon it’ll be an axe a pickaxe it’ll do everything I need hopefully okay that should be good enough to build a first farm and there we go eight Arcane tablets I’m not sure how close or how far these have to be Placed from the enchanting apparatus but I I know with a lot of these magic tools you have to be careful cuz many of them can pull from inventories around them so you kind of want to keep them separate from one another unless you mean to keep them close for the enchanting apparatus Place any number of Arcane pedestals without within three blocks with their items so three blocks 1 2 3 I can place them back here I suppose 1 2 3 four 5 6 1 2 7 8 I think that’s close enough 1 2 3 maybe maybe it’s a 3X3 Square I don’t Know let’s test it out let’s test out this crafting an Arcane core must be placed beneath this block I knew that I just forgot I forgot okay there’s our Arcane core drop that there enchanting apparatus there Le turn Inside pretty so if I get a bookworm I can use this to access inventories all around it pretty handy so say have like a chest monster I can put this in the center and if I have a bunch of bookworms familiars attached to it I’ll be able to use this to access Like 30 different inventories all at the same time as if they’re one that’s cool I’m probably actually going to make use of it maybe I’ll put one down here I thought I would use pretty pipes for items but this actually seems just as useful maybe I’ll use both um what did I Want to do next I need to figure out how to get a bookworm so I need to perform the ritual of binding near a bookworm so I need to get the ritual of binding stuff so I need a ritual bra bra braier bra whatever so I need an Arcane pedestal More Source gems uh more Source gems I’m just going to have to wait for a while for that’s all the process I suppose in the meantime while I wait I can start placing these dirt the this Farmland I don’t really want to break these blocks cuz I don’t want to ruin The cave look on the inside but I can put Farmland on top here I suppose okay and I want this all to be Farmland looking so let me get some water and fill this in so that’s the center right here that is where this is going to Go and all around it I want Farms so I’m going to need a water source I want this all to look Pretty Natural too so it’s not just going to be like dots of water I think I’m going to have like a little river flowing down here now hopefully this doesn’t create Too much dripping water down below okay and we can make some little little waterfalls coming down here as well um maybe here And then like so okay that should be pretty fairly pretty now I’m also going to need some way to walk around here without breaking all the plants but I’ll just leave it for now and figure that out later let’s make a new spell to craft things with so When I use it on self I want to be able to craft there we go there we go now we’ll be able to run around here without trampling our own crops I wonder if there’s a away or some magic thing or spell I don’t know something I can use to prevent from Trampling my own stuff We’ll just put the light in the water cuz I think that looks Pretty oh man I’m going to trample in this Farmland so much it’s going to be such a pain okay let’s start growing some stuff this should be done but let’s just keep uh keep going okay let’s get to planting some Source berries on the edges places where I’m not going to step very Often um I think Tomatoes like water I have no idea one likes water so maybe we can put tomatoes around the water along the water edges up here maybe an industrial hemp can go up here near the center I don’t know if it’s going to be able to harvest the industrial hemp Correctly so that’ll be an interesting experiment uh carrots carrots can go ow I didn’t know that could get me up here carrots can Go up here sure and my one potato can go with the carrots okay so I don’t actually need to find a bookworm out there somewhere all I need is to create a bookworm charm and the way I do that is I create or I use the ritual of Awakening so I need this Tablet of Awakening burn it in this ritual blazer with a book and quill and that will create a charm of Bookworm uh so and I can use that in order to automate stuff so that’s what I need to do next is make a bookworm charm Um or make it a uh a tablet of Awakening I don’t have all these archwood saplings though I have a flourishing archwood sapling but I’m going to need blazing cascading and vexing so that means it’s time to go on a little exploration as I understand it these Logs from the Blazing tree make quite good fuel too so I might want to farm them sometime they’re quite pretty I think as well I wonder using archwood as like a main component of my base that’d be pretty pretty nice okay did I get a sapling not yet Okay let’s look on the map I think we know where there are some other trees here we go here’s a cascading archwood and here is a flourishing we already have that it’s blazing cascading what was the other one I needed a vexing so a purple one up here there’s a purple one okay Let’s use magic to summon a horse and get there I love the rain in this resource pack I love that it or this Shader I love that it doesn’t go straight up and down well I guess rain never goes up it only goes down but I like this one it Seems to be like affected by the wind a little bit that’s a nice touch Bastion fruit I don’t know what those do I guess we’ll find out eventually I’m sure it’ll be handy later probably I have no idea I wonder can I get the elevator going from Mona horse Probably it’s a bit glitchy but it works there we go I’m also going to need a book and quill which I think is just a book a feather and maybe an ink sack I don’t have ink sacks I don’t think I have an ink sack Anywhere well got to go out on the horse Again nothing for It huh what um I guess damage calculation doesn’t make sense on an elevator that’s weird that’s strange I didn’t know there were so many zombies look at this Ridiculousness this is silly hope you like bomag granates I hope this does what I think it does oh no I just eat Okay right what did I what did I come out here for again I need the ink totally forgot okay so this will be a little archwood artificial archwood Forest I see him I see squids down here in the river spells are going to make it a lot easier to hunt these Guys okay there’s one may as well get a bunch while I’m here okay so let’s give this a try I’m going to need to craft up a crafting table uh place down my ritual brazer I need a tablet of Awakening and a book and quill so I’ve got the book The feather the ink now so I place this I guess I right click it then I throw a book and quill onto it and this should produce the charm that I need right voila charm of Bookworm I think I’m going to need a few more items too I Think I’m going to need a Dominion wand as well I don’t even know what that is but I’ll figure it out okay so the last item I think I think okay so the last item I think I need is a Dominion wand and this will allow me to set where This Dy is going to pick things up so I need an enchanting apparatus Source gems a stick and a gold nugget or is that an Ingot gold ingot so gold gem one gem two and a stick Isn’t that such a cool animation the minion on okay so this spot here is going to be a chest there are some other things I’m going to need too cuz one of the things you can do is you can take advantage of the growth of plants to create Mana so I Can use this to make magic as well and I left enough space to do do that but we’ll get to that in a bit for now I just want to automate this position set there’s our Bookworm okay so that’s set now this Bookworm should do some Harvest oh you know what there’s actually more I need to do in order to get to harvest stuff I’m going to be learning this as I go um but but what I need next is a scroll with a spell I wanted to Use and I don’t know if I even have that glyph yet let me let me do some research I need the Harvest glyph and for that I need I need Harvest and I need pickup I think I have pickup item already there we go yeah so I need Harvest and that I need an earth Essence and an iron hoe which is just iron dirt and seeds in here oh no problem seeds iron dirt and a source gem in the middle am I doing this wrong oh oh this has to be in an an abum chamber not an Enchanting apparatus okay this will be our crafting envent chamber over here they must be placed within a one block Cube iron seeds dirt and let’s put a source gem in here okay so that should work I think it’s a slow process though yeah you can See this is going to take a while but it’s worth it if I added source which is like Mana this would craft a lot faster so I’m going to have to do that at some point too but this is good for now I’ll I’ll come back with you when it’s done Actually what I’m going to need next is a spell scroll how do I make that a spell parchment crafted by putting a blank parchment in the scribes table and a blank parchment is Mage Bloom around paper which is for which I need a mage Bloom plant how do I get a mage Bloom Plant um Mage Bloom seeds I need the enchanting apparatus seeds with Source gems that’s not too hard at all one two three four industrial hemp okay so the source gems I think I’ll put those or the Mage blooms will go like right around the my machines here okay So it seems like I never get a new seed every time I want more seeds I’m going to have to craft them that’s a little annoying but not not really a big deal okay so if I craft these I get Mage Bloom fibers which I should be able to use to make a Parchment blank parchment I just need paper with that around it so let’s grab some paper four of these paper in the middle right oh no no I literally just craft it okay okay there we go blank parchment now I need to make the spell that I want is this done yet Yeah I’m going to go ahead and make a couple more of these while I’m at it I’ll need that later all right so now I should be able to unlock this spell that I want I want Harvest okay select that and it shows me The items I need here so if I throw down an iron hole it uses that throw that down and now it makes my glyph now I’ve learned Harvest so I want this spell to be okay so now I can craft the spell so I don’t think I have anything in eight So I want this to be touch uh Harvest pick up Items create and I want it to be what color do I want I guess I can have it any color um let’s do green and so then to put that on here I think I just put that there on the Scribe table and right click it now I’ve got a spell Parchment that’s touch Harvest item pickup so I should be able to use that on the on the Bookworm over here to teach it how to do I think I think that’s how this works um Maybe uh I’m going to look it up I don’t know how to do this okay everyone oh I almost spat into my mic okay everyone so I’m a little disappointed cuz it looks like the feature I wanted to take advantage of here the one that would use a bookworm To cast spells to remove to do the harvesting for me apparently that feature has been removed I don’t know why I can’t imagine why they would just remove such a good feature but nevertheless I’m going to have to find a new way to do this I’ve got a few ideas One I could use another ritual that uses this ritual Blazer and to harvest crops continuously but that would require me to create a lot of Mana for it from somewhere else and I don’t know how I’m going to do that just yet uh the other option I could use a whir sprig charm Which is another familiar that will not harvest the items around it but it’ll just sort of create them magically out of nothing it’ll just create them items magically as if out of nothing so it’ll um be less cool but it’ll work maybe h i I’m so grumpy I really liked that Feature I don’t know why they removed it I mean it needed to be balanced of course it it was unbalanced it was overpowered but removing it outright what a dumb change they need to add a new familiar that’ll cast spells right now there’s no familiar that can cast Spells ridiculous anyway uh rant over I’m going to go find a new way to go about this a much unfortunately less cool way but what I can do in the meantime thankfully is um use my Bookworm to manage my inventories here so if I spawn this again it’s got The Bookworm connect it to this my uh drawer controller now I can use this to access all my materials that’s actually pretty handy and I can craft in here too so say I want my yellow terra cotta I got it now close back and this guy will handle it for me Uh can I link these ones too or are these too far sweet I wonder how it decides which inventory to use well it’s kind of cool having a little floaty guy wandering around this whole area Okay so there is a consolation prize here I guess okay everyone so I’ve got a new Plan and uh the new plan is to still continue using magic to to harvest my plants but in this time I’m not going to use the plants to try to generate magic to create new magic so the way I’m going to do that instead is by farming magical Trees and then burning them as fuel so to make room for that you guessed it it’s time to make another Island and uh I went ahead and got everything I need already so I should be able to just go ahead and start this it begin no it’s already begun it’s Already begun that was last episode now I’m going to need my create stuff so I’m going to need um this is going to be maybe another five six or seven wide tree farm so I’m going to need a bunch of saws a bunch of deployers and an Interface so while this is building I’m just going to go ahead and make that I feel like there’s no way need to time-lapse these anymore cuz well for one this is the smallest one yet and you know we’ve already shown this big one there’s no need to time-lapse a little Side side thing it’ll be done in a moment anyway it’s just like 1,700 blocks oh look there’s stuff spawning on it great I kind of like having this guy down here it live he livens the place up a little bit although animations are a little janky it’s kind of cute I should Give him a name anyway uh we need some saws okay so I got our aler running I got our brass and I got a temporary create system working it’s uh not pretty it’s uh it’s definitely not pretty but it’ll do this means I don’t have to keep Running down to my old base so it’s worth it uh even with two two gear increases it’s still even slower than the one I had downstairs but uh it’ll do it’s it’s painful but it’ll do I guess um I’m just being dramatic it’s fine let’s see how the island is coming Along hey that’s pretty nice um the bot’s choosing a huge base design with a lot of brass I can’t imagine building with that much brass I mean gosh it’s just going to take forever what’s he thinking so this island is not really going to need need to be connected to this one Because it’ll be controlled by Redstone and I have jump pads to get between them maybe or at the very least I’ll have a jump pad on this one shooting items over to the other one oh there look at the mini map look how many mobs there are oh No here’s what I’m going to do um new spell oh new spell projectile Mage Light color yellow I don’t know okay we’re going to use that and just light it up from up here and then go away and hope most of them despawn okay okay okay I may have not Fallen in I mean I may have fallen in but uh I might not have fallen in you don’t need to know uh the point is this whole Space is well lit now the inside is also well lit and uh I forgot to bring well I remember the clutch but I Forgot to bring a glue and B um Whatchamacallit uh the turntable thingy what’s it called the mechanical bearing that’s it you know I didn’t think this through cuz I need a way to get this rotation from here over to the back to launch the items out but I guess I can worry about that later um we’re going to want our interface Right Here Right Where It lines up here we’ll have our interface that attaches to it I guess one block further one block away okay then we’ll have our shoot and then we’ll have our item launcher mechanical Ejector okay I got it all wired up I uh accidentally stepped on this and it launched me into the correct spot so that’s good you want to see me do it again oh well that’s almost the correct spot but I’m pretty sure for items it will be the correct spot hopefully uh Okay actually I better test this out now so I want the items to go to the hopper there uh that isn’t quite right so the way we set this is we go to the place we want the drops to land in this case here shift Click and it can only fire along one axis so you can see it telling me where it needs to go and place it down down then it gets Wound and the items should land where I told them to but they don’t why why is that why do you do like that well it landed here so what if I just put the hopper like there instead it’s the wrong spot but who cares as Long as it works reliably as long as it actually does what it’s supposed to okay 32 items go oh well maybe if I put them along the right Axis they’ll do fine okay let’s try that again this time go in there do it is it in there we go that wasn’t so bad how hard could that have been I just need to let it run for a While to build up enough items now obviously I could have fit a couple more saws into here but this should do now let’s get our bone meal and get this thing to work okay now this should produce a ridiculous ton of wood and saplings cuz of how big the Trees grow from for one sapling they grow huge and they leave floating blocks in the air see that was one tree 56 whole bunch of saplings so this should be very Efficient huh it’s filling up on the Blazing archwood already yeah this is going to be a crazy efficient farm and it’s going to generate me a ton of Mana okay I think I can get it running now I think I can put the shoot back in gosh it’s probably full already isn’t it No no why did it do that to this one oh well I don’t think it’ll matter some of these oh I don’t want to get saw to death okay I’m quite happy with the result although it’s got some weird behavior in some spots like right here I don’t quite know Why it built itself that way but I with any luck it’ll be self-repairing hopefully okay well I better start generating using this up quickly or I’m going to have problems I better find a way to convert this into source so the way I’m going to do that is with a volcanic Source Link that needs a lava bucket Source gem and gold I don’t know if I have any lava I think I actually have one bucket somewhere got the lava and there is the volcanic Source link I’m also going to need Source jars so I just need slabs for that okay might as well make Two not a fluid uh I’m also going to need Source uh whatchacallit um a source relay now this is going to allow me to transmit magic so we’re we’re receiving the items here what we want to be doing is burning them so let’s go ahead and break that we don’t need That okay we don’t need any stone underneath here cuz if I have stone under here it’s going to melt sanded Stone should be fine this needs to go this needs to go Cobblestone Cobblestone okay now we’re going to put our volcanic Source link there and a jar next to It and I think I think that should convert all the wood and stuff that lands on it directly into Mana now once that fills up I’m going to want it to stop generating source so let me get a comparator I hope this works the way I Think it will okay let me see if I can get a comparator output out of this yeah okay okay so we’re going to have another one over here and I need where’s my wand there we go dominion wand and my relay so what we want is first man to go From there into there and from there into there and then when this one has Mana in it which it really never should have more than a little bit we want it to turn off the machine up there okay and for this code mod we’re going to use of Course the Blazing archwood okay now let’s go up there code that off switch because I don’t want this to run when there’s no need for it my gosh look at this ridiculous thing okay receiver you become a receiver please before I die from your saw blades okay that is now a Receiver and there we go it is turned off wow I put this storage interface slightly off center and for whatever reason it still seems to work anyway cool I guess well there’s our Mana we have pretty much unlimited Mana now so this should work pretty much Autonomously as soon as I use up the Mana in here then it will and I’ve got this one as a buffer as soon as stays up the Mana in here it’ll turn that on again it’ll start digging again until it can send more of these items to turn Into more Mana so theoretically this should be Infinite Source pretty easily so now I can use that to fuel all kinds of magic projects one of those will be my farm this will basically be the magical fuel center for the entire Island for my entire base That will be the magical Fuel and you know what since I’ve got so much extra here I could probably rework this a bit and turn this into like an actual fuel center as well instead of just magic because I’ve got all this left I could turn it into Charcoal right can this be turned into charcoal of course it can I’ll worry about that another time the important thing is the items won’t build up forever in fact this Farm is totally Overkill I think we’ll say we’ll find out but it seems pretty unnecessarily big I think I can disconnect it and It’ll work fine on its own can always come back if that turns out to be the not truth this unlocks so many possibilities for me you don’t even know but you will you will know um number one I can get creative flight using magic uh number two I’d like to turn This whole Garden area this whole inner cave area into a garden and I don’t want it to just be Aesthetics I want to actually produce stuff but I want it to look good so having this magic is going to do make all that possible so if I want the garden to work What am I going to need next I’m going to need more magic relays I’m going to need a whole magical transmission system in fact all around the base uh so I’m going to need a bunch of these relays a bunch of source jars probably stationed All over uh so I’m going to craft a bunch of those at some point oh I’m going to need worly sprigs worly sprig familiars are what are going to operate my farm because they can look at what guard they can basically do farming so they can look at What plants are around them and make more of them uh they don’t actually harvest the plants they just look at what’s around them and copy it but that’s good enough and if I leave them running AFK that should be more more than that that should do it that should be plenty Man look at that ridiculous thing you wouldn’t even tell that there’s a machine on there it just looks like a giant like mushroom or some kind of growth okay so there are two type of world sprig things I want now a world sprig is a magical creature that spawns All over the place they look like well little whirly Birds they look like little seeds with propeller heads uh I’ve shown you’ve seen them in my videos I’m sure but if if they’re hard to find I’ve got a dowsing Rod that’ll make them a lot easier to see um now I need two Things from them one is I want to capture one as a familiar and I’ve got the resources to do that I’ve got a ritual brazer and a tablet of binding and the other thing I want is a world sprig charm which come which I need World sprig shards for which you get by Growing a tree near one of them usually they’re easy to find when you’re not looking for them you run into them so if I just wander around probably find him but I’m going to use the dowsing Rod it was cheap enough okay I used to see them pretty Frequently around oh there’s one I see it I see one here we are this is a world sprig I’m not sure why it’s still glowing I don’t have my dowsing Rod active anymore but I will take the blessing when I can get it oh oh that kills him that’s that’s not what I Wanted well I’ve got one this is going to take a lot longer than I expected oh and my horse disappeared too yeah I’ll leave me eventually okay well let’s just keep on going I see a couple star bunes there’s another star bunkle there a star bunkle over there they’re just the cutest Critters is that another star bunkle yep plenty of those guys There’s a d me still not the one I’m looking for I want at least one more or Le spring and i’ like more in the future but one one will do for now there’s another DM me oh no that’s a star bunkle stay in one spot I’m not sure how close I have to be for this to work so I I’m going to wait for him to stop moving hopefully that Won’t take long I need him to okay you’re going to stay here for a moment there we go I got you now I’ve bound him to me he’ll be mine forever okay so now I’ve got a familiar it will reduce the cost of Earth glyphs and improve my food Consumption this is mine my familiar now I want to test this out because even though it’s a familiar will the tree thing still work or will that only work on Wild Ones yeah I’m pretty sure that will not work for familiars but it was worth a Try at least I’m not traveling alone now like and he’s giving a discount on my attack spell like with uh it’s now not going to take the Mana to you it’ll this one harm glyph will use half the Mana wow I can’t speak so I can fire quite a lot of these Off now well a marginal Improvement anyway not really a lot but it it’s better still I was hoping that I would be able to use him to get those uh wh spring charms but it looks like that’s not going to happen I’m going to have to continually search and find more and More of those guys in the wild so oh hello hello hello hello hello have our source jart yeah it’ll be there there okay we’ll have a flower here and here’s going to be our whirly spring guy right click the flower with the Charm it absorbs the Mana from all over all over to place and there’s our worldly spring they’re content they are not going to be HP delivering me any farmable items until they are happy and until they have Source Mana whatever so I’m going to have to feed them both those things to Make them happier they need more diversity they really like diversity of Plants and Things the more types of plants they’ve got around the happier they are so this guy is not happy yet but that’s okay cuz I’ve got things to do first first thing I need to do is Transmit power over to this jar to power this guy so we’re going to get a link Dominion wand from there to there he’s going to start sending power they’re going to start sharing power needs to send all the way over to this jar ow ow ow and here it Comes okay now that’s 100% full on on Power this guy’s still 40% so not enough to activate the farm up there and this guy not quite happy enough to start working yet to become happy it needs more plants it needs more diversity of plants and what they’re looking for is stuff within 10 blocks in every Direction and if I can get it diversity really high it’ll start producing a ton of items but until it’s happy no items it’ll be worth it though and it’s also already kind of worth it just oh my God that’s bright it’s it’s that’s really bright does that need to be so bright oh That hurts my eyes I need more diversity of plants and that can also be trees and things that doesn’t just have to be uh farmable plants so what have I got here I’ve got potatoes carrots tomatoes Source two Source plants so I have six seven seven different kinds of plants Eight how many plants do you need are you kidding are you kidding triggered I’m going to have to do some research and figure out exactly how to make these guys happy but I guess I can just continue expanding the farm until it is man that’s Bright okay I got it working I added a few trees here a few archwood trees three of them and now oh other one where’s the other one and now it’s tappy it’s producing items quite a few of them in fact look at that it’s producing carrots wheat cabbage sorce berries hemp tomato Flax saplings wood it’s producing a little of everything all around it that’s pretty cool where’d it go though where is it it must be around somewhere it’s still using its magic and all well whever it is it’s doing the work somehow um I hope it turns up some point hope it Reappears well I it’s not down here I have no idea where it went but at least I don’t have to worry about food anymore don’t know where it went but as long as it’s doing work I’m happy I’ve got plenty of Tomatoes okay so there’s one more thing that I want to do with magic uh possibly more than one thing but right now one thing comes to mind I want to fly so uh what I’m going to do is make a tablet of flight and what the tablet of flight Does is within 60 blocks if you jump it gives you an ability to fly for 60 seconds so as long as I stay within that range I should be fine and I’m going to put it right in the center my base is around 40 to 50 blocks out from the Center so it should theoretically nearly all be in range I need three Wilden wings I know that I’ve got three oh my gosh let me type h okay tablet flight Diamonds I should have everything I should have everything I need for that now the other thing I once it’s active it’ll continue to be active until I remove it but it will need Mana or source to continue working so I need to I put this Source link down here Source Relay so I need to send from here over to a jar here okay and I need to send from up here upstairs down to that one that can be from I guess this one would make the most sense from here at the Farm down to this one okay that looks a bit funky and that should have also activated my tree fly halfway here but I can’t fly back that’s cool it’s very useful cuz I kept dying due to Fall damage and this guy is a um world sprig familiar it um reduces Mana cost of a few glyphs but not many it doesn’t help too much it also increases saturation when you eat yeah I see these guys flying all place you can tame them pretty Easily uh do I still have it here you can use this if you right click that you’ll um it’ll give the spectral effects to any magical creatures around you I wouldn’t use it right now cuz you don’t have too much that you can do with it yet But it doesn’t help you with taming them are they after you or me they’re after me apparently just to oh that’s a lot lot of noise a lot of phantoms why did they make them sound so horrible to think this was a mob [Applause] vote okay so I’m pretty happy with how Things have turned out so far uh I had to mute myself because um I was talking to scorp here and I was going to start recording and if I were just off here talking to myself recording while he’s like listening to me that would be kind Of embarrassing you know I I can’t I can’t rightly say why but it’s just kind of nerve-wracking anyway the one the one more thing I want to do before I wrap this up is I want to improve my armor cuz right now I can shoot a bunch of Spells off but it’s not enough so I want to improve my Mana regen and an easy way to do that is to make magic armor so I believe the way to do that is put in some Mage Bloom fibers hopefully simple as let me actually defen myself too okay that’s part One whoever made this animation did such a good job so cool looking okay let’s put this on it’s not my color so I’m gonna have to change that up a bit but it’s looking pretty snazzy okay everyone thank you all for hanging out with me that’s going I like the glowberries that I just added uh I just put down some bamboo to make the the farmer friend here a little bit Happier I went off with scorp pit and got some star bunkle and world Spring shards so there’s a whole bunch that’s going to be going on here you are very happy still could be a little happy beer I guess so there are still some additional crops I think I can add I Need rice I need onions to think of a few um what else pickles maybe tulips this thing can Farm tulips and flowers not just traditional crops so yeah uh I also just planted some B some bamboo and some cherry stuff good start good progress today tomorrow Or next time um uh there’s a whole bunch I have in mind that I could progress lots of natural next steps with the magic stuff but I also need to build just like a massive furnace array and ore processing and all kinds of stuff there’s so much To do so many things to move on to so much that can be done it’s going to be a fun Journey so I hope to see In this video I progress straight through from starting out with the mod to mid-game, including mana/source generation and use, flight spellcraft, armor, farming, magical familiars, magical inventory management, and more.
This mod has some improvements to make imo, but it’s already one of the most in-depth, intuitive, and aesthetically pleasing imo. Now if only it had better pathfinding, especially its starbuncles!
