from those and they’re quite different like as far as like what I want to be doing for twitch and YouTube and content and editing and recording uh offline stuff So I have like my whole day including like when I’m working out and [ __ ] sleeping and everything like and then I got the uh the binder my bougie binder for uh writing down ideas for for uh channels and stuff and games which we’re going to talk about Here in a minute so I’m pretty excited today I it’s all the stuff is out of my brain when when you’re doing like a main game or even if you’re streaming like variety like you don’t if you’re just streaming you’re not editing and like doing YouTube and like all extra stuff And different types of variety you don’t really need to I don’t I feel like like just in your head but I had so much in my head that just like I felt like my head was going to explode and it’s too confusing so I literally was like do you Know what I need is a whiteboard and binder cuz I was trying to do it like on like you know on PC just have it on my computer to like look at but it’s a different man like having it over there in my office the Whiteboard especially And then having to write it down rather than type it out I feel like is uh a lot cleaner for my brain too if that makes any sense but it’s like a it’s such a like a weight off of my shoulders and it of my brain like I don’t really got to think About it anymore if like I need to then I just look at it like now I can do instead of think I guess yeah I’m a very visual person anyway like I’m a visual learner too but like I am like a very visual kind of kind of person you Know but I but like for how much I want to do like I it had to get written down and now that it’s written down it’s just I don’t know it’s like it’s I’m a free I’m free now I’m free from this cursed brain yeah cuz I’m still going to be Doing exclusive Let’s Plays because I wasn’t going because I I was going to stop doing exclusive let’s plays on YouTube for another form of uh YouTube but I I found out because I read it down that I can actually do both what I want So I’m still going to be do I’m going to continue to doing two to uh variety let’s play on YouTube just like a normal let’s play series but recorded offline and exclusive for YouTube uh I have some pretty cool ideas for that and the type of games that I’m Going to be playing for that so for you for that YouTube I’m going to be doing uh and let me know what you think of this too I can I can share these ideas now uh cuz we’re starting with it today uh well I start recording with it Today probably next week or the week after that maybe even 3 weeks from now will be the first release of the video but uh so Matt my game exclusive YouTube Let’s Plays uh is going to be games that are 25 hours or less uh and there’s quite a bit of Those but one problem I found personally with doing YouTube and doing let’s plays is that cuz I I feel like our Let’s Plays work really well but the problem is if you have a 20 hour game it takes 20 days if you’re releasing one every single day to Be released for people to watch it and I just find like very quickly like within the first like five six videos The Views drop off and people kind of forget about it like the first five six videos even and then after six videos seven videos Like no there’s no views so I feel like people get really excited in the beginning and then don’t fall off so I have an idea for like a semi Netflix release of episodes so check it out my idea and I haven’t seen anybody doing this but to Do like a semi Netflix release and release all episodes to record the entire let’s play and then release all episodes within 5 days so if it’s a 25h hour let’s play what’s 25 divided 5 Five release five episodes a day in like a Netflix style release and then you can watch up to Five five a day most games won’t be 25 hours some of them are even just like you know 10 15 hours so divide it by five and get them all out within five days and then that’s your week cuz I feel more more people would be like like likely to watch three Episodes and then get addicted to the actual gameplay uh to the series and then want to continue with more then they don’t have to wait 20 days 30 days for the end of the of the damn game especially when it comes to older games like I feel Like a lot of people even might want to skip ahead to an episode where like something cool happens or something you know but like a semi instead of I was going to do Netflix release like uh release all episodes in one day but then like that might be too Much like 20 episodes in a day but if you do five a day maximum of five a day you know it might even be 3 day then you watch three day and then the whole episode is out by by the week’s end right Monday to Friday and then you can release a new Series the next Monday cuz that was the other problem is like with upload schedule because what I’d be doing is I’d be uploading Grand Theft Auto I’d be uploading cyberpunk and I’d be uploading another game and i’ be uploading another game because there’s four game plays going on because One game is already done and I started another game and then that game got finished and then I’m starting another one so there’s more uploads going up this way I can pre-record them or have them recorded and then do one series a week and not worry about series being on top of one Another and then people can get excited for like the next series sort of thing so that’s what I’m going to be trying for and I really really like that system uh from just trying what what everybody else was doing with Let’s Plays like recording an hour day Uploading it that day or uploading it the next day like and then just uploading them as you have them so what I’m going to do is I’m going to stack up a couple of Series so I might not have the first upload done for like two weeks or three Weeks because I’ll get like three series done and then by the time those three series are are up loaded and watched um the other series I completed and can upload it the week after that or whatever it might even be like two weeks we’ll figure out the timing on that But cuz that way you don’t get be I don’t get behind either so I think I like that system too drwy so that’s what Matt my game is going to be so I want to ask you guys some questions uh there’s a a lot of games if You guys want to look if you guys want to suggest games you can absolutely do that uh but make sure you look on how long to beat how long like the story mode is because I have another let’s play that I’m going to be doing as well it’s Going to be a live stream thing this is what I mean this is why I had to write it all down because this is just like the the basic Matt my game Let’s Play cuz I’ll be making other videos out of this too but games like Batman the Arkham series is a good example of that uh Gears of War God of War the Bioshock series Last of Us Far Cry series Uncharted series portal South Park series Spider-Man series Ghostbusters uh the video game Star Wars Jedi series uh Call of Duty the Modern Warfare series New and old crisis Series Dead Space be doing because like in order to get game reviews I have to play through the game you know in order to be getting like highlight compilations oh my God Dan I can’t believe Dan just did that I’m actually shook yeah so the Let’s Plays are going Up because I’m doing the Let’s Plays anyway for people that like the let’s plays Let’s Plays are actually like the most the least most popular way of uh doing gaming content on YouTube but I’m going to be doing them anyway to be getting the reviews and the Highlight compilations and the reaction Types videos videos that are like 2 to 15 minutes is ideally what I want but since I have to do the let’s play I might as well find out a good format for releasing the let’s play in a very watchable kind of way too if that makes sense And I want to get that down pat first before I start recording like all the other videos which now I do divorce looks like Dan’s getting timed out now yeah I wanted to find a format for the let’s play first uh even though like the let’s play are like the least Popular form of content for for gaming I still want it up there for the people that do enjoy it you know uh and especially if you’re looking for something to just like grind and watch and like whatever you know but I want that perfect before I Start getting the other videos so I feel like I have a format for that because I’ve been testing with the other ones and I didn’t really like it like doing them a day like we were talking about like an hour a day and then releasing Them over 20 30 days uh but also I like the restriction for that like 25 hours like Max maybe I’ll do like 30 if I really want to like actually there might be a doom might be uh an exception to the rule cuz it’s a little bit longer with DLC but I’m trying to keep Matt my game exclusive YouTubes Let’s Plays to 25 hours or less but I have surprise for you guys my other let’s plays I’m going to be doing uh sourer cow you’re G to like this one and get ready to do a command Dan uh I’m going to be doing games that are longer that are like 50 plus hours so think Grand Theft Auto Legend of Zelda breath of the wild the division uh you know games that are 50 plus ideally up to like 200 hours or more they’re going to be live streamed over on KY exclamation point KY in the chat cuz that’s a very relaxed Channel and uh where I would like like to be doing like uh completionist runs of things I’m currently doing a completionist run of uh cyber Punk so for you guys that don’t like watching YouTube and still want to watch Let’s Plays of variety KY is where that’s going to be that’s uh essentially our after dark channel uh and where I can mess around with variety that traditionally doesn’t do very good on Twitch and we don’t got to mess with Channel and mess up our numbers and our sponsorship numbers and Like things like that and then I don’t have to care about that sort of thing so for other games like that that’s where our Let’s Plays for that are going to be and I’m really excited about it so make sure you go follow key uh and KY again because I have it All written down now talking about the Whiteboard and all that junk uh KY should be semi-regular again it’s a it’s an after dark thing so it’s it’s more meant to be like I’m going to be there like when I can be there and it’s still going to be that Vibe but Since I have everything written down and I normally game uh off stream anyway most days uh but since I have everything written down and I’ll organized and out of my brain we should KY should be semi-regular it’s a kind of like again like I was saying my schedule for Monday And Saturday are kind of the same but Thursday through Friday are different and then Sunday is OD day off so kiy kind of follows that as well so like the Monday stream is a different time then Thursday through Friday is the same and then Saturday Will be a different time as well but at least it’s at least it’s still a schedule there right and the times aren’t that far after they release absolutely non-u the problem is is that’s the hard thing with variety is you might have a a game that releases especially one that you’re excited about and you not have another one for 3 Months so I’m going to be doing new games as well uh when they release the ones that I’m like really excited for we’ll be doing a let’s play of those for sure obviously and recording them getting them up but there’s also a ton of games that I want to play in between you Know because that’s the times that are most important is in between the game releases sometimes there might be 5 months before there something like you’re excited about and plus all these games I want to play and get my reactions out there and make content from them anyway cuz you know there is An audience for that and that’s what I’m passionate about too right you ever watch Hollow no I am absolutely looking for YouTubers to watch though because I have a couple that I’ve been I’m trying to base it off like like my own experience too but also take what other people’s have learned Can you link him you think story is great okay we’ll take I’ll take a look at max pain for sure oh it’s KY VOD it’s funny yeah and play all of it and then on Monday release it all at once and then after the let’s play what I really want to be doing is like game reviews like videos that are like 2 minutes to 10 minutes long Reviewing the game the Let’s Plays I want to put up just simply because I’m recording that content anyway or I’m doing the let’s play to get the review content you know what I mean and we might as well release the Let’s Play video you can get Borderlands St with All DLC tales and new tales of the Borderlands Kate I’m doing Red Dead 2 again so my prees yeah you see why I had to write all this down cuz I’m sure you guys are confused already just listen to me to TIY Arthur Arthur too Titi I don’t know when I’m Doing Red Dead again but I am doing Red Dead cuz every time I play it I just end up concentrating on the story not doing all this side [ __ ] same Grand Theft Auto well I did 100% a Grand Theft Auto except for one achievement I didn’t Do I have a plan Arthur just stick to the goddamn plan AR I have to do Grand Theft Auto game because I got to get that one achievement which is spend $200 million I should have had it last time I did it but I didn’t I didn’t save I didn’t save the Lester Missions I did them as I was doing the 100% run so oh no I got to play one of my favorite games of all time again oh no what am I going to do what am I going to do bro oh no for Me yeah because like I I’d like to do like a like a a red dead play through but I don’t want to do that it would take it logistically it would just simply take me too long to record it all so I feel like that’s more of like a Stream friendly game where I can also relax and not worry about getting through the story and I can do all the side stuff and look for the Easter eggs and take my time with that’s what ky’s going to be for where I don’t have to rush a playr Because I have to get to the next game I literally have a Time slotted out for where I can do what the [ __ ] I want and not worry about industry stuff because you kind of have to like do a mix of that anyway you know what I’m Saying if you just want to do what you want all the time as a content creator that’s the fastest way to not be a full-time content creator you know you kind of have to follow Trends new releases when they come out and stuff like that so I Literally got it planned out where I can do my [ __ ] around time like is it like heavy on Story 2 I’m I’m unsure about B gate if I actually want to do play through I haven’t written that down yet cuz turnbas is Like turnbas RPGs are not really my favorite like I like Boulder’s Gate for the story but I didn’t like the combat at all I didn’t like the the turnbas part of it more like Super Mario RPG combat oh yeah but still like that sort of thing does this keep getting messed Up how does it keep doubling like that see if hold on let me is it on Steam let me look at up right now no XCOM wouldn’t be is that like story based well I guess well games like that I I’ve always wanted to get into so we could do KY for That but I think it would take something very special for me to actually play it you know like I’d like to put it down on the list to actually like play it and get through it yeah like I’m not same thing with this like I’m not against like games Like this and gameplay like this does it have a good story though yeah this I’d be more likely than balers gate though this type of RGB RGB because I I do like uh Super Mario RPG be like on the bottom of the list though I’m definitely not against that because The other thing is I want to experience new types of games too I don’t want to just stick to like what what I am only passionate about because at the end of the day I’m passionate about games and experiencing new things is fun story is good Huh maybe I should make a maybe page that I should write down yeah XCOM just XCOM Theo story is more important to me than most things like thises is XCOM like something that you would want to play for the story or like I don’t really know XCOM yeah I should make a maybe Page was at the back of the binder page or whatever like these are babies um yeah cuz like XCOM is like something I’ve wanted to get into there’s a bunch of games I wanted to get into like Age of Empires and like strategy games like that I simply don’t have time for those Though a lot of other things I want to be doing um I’ve do like a far cry series um some of them like if it’s a Series game I’d like to play through the entire series before releasing the series but hold on like like for example Maybe we could do this hold on maybe even two games at once Far Cry I need a calculator So Far Cry would just say 13 hours plus Far Cry 2 17 hours it’s 30 hours divided by five I could release six episodes a day have Far Cry 1 and Two in one week and then do Far Cry 3 and Far Cry 4 at the same time and same thing release six episodes a day and then do one week with Far Cry 5 apparently you know what I mean and it doesn’t take it doesn’t take a Million years to get out an entire the entire series of Far Cry you know it take me a couple of weeks less than a month and then if you want to you can skip a you can skip Far Cry 1 if you don’t want to see me play Scar Far Cry 1 but the content is there and more importantly I’ve experienced it you know because I think for me that’s really important is experiencing the the previous games because I want to be able to talk about it too like if I if I play Far Cry 3 I want to know why you say start start the series of Far Cry 3 I want to know why you say want to say that even if Far Cry 1 and two are complete dog [ __ ] dog water I want to know why so then I can participate in the Conversation sort of thing so I still want to play it anyway like playing the games are lot more of that turn base but the turn base for grade through is like a lot but the story is just so good too like I feel like I should play it at some point you Know feel like I got to play it at
