EPIC Minecraft Build Off: Ultimate Family Security

Our friends Mikey and JJ are under attack now they need us to save them can we build a secure house strong enough to keep our friends and family alive chip what are we going to do these zombies are going to come out and get Mikey and JJ’s families well Miler we better get

Building you take Mikey’s family and I will take JJ’s family and we will make the most secure bases to protect them that sounds good to me how long until these zombies come to get them the zombies are in the cave because the sun is in the sky but when it turns night

Time the zombies will attack us oh my goodness we don’t have very much time come on Mikey and Mikey’s family let’s go come on JJ let’s go you too JJ’s wife and JJ’s kid JJ tell your family to stay here I’m going to get going building a modern security Villa that’ll keep us

Super safe from the zombies first I need to place a bunch of oak wood in the ground just like this this is important because it’ll show us the exact look location of where the ground floor will be my house is going to be in the shape

Of an L but that is not what we’re going to be taking we’re going to be taking the absolute W and we destroy these zombies what about you Milo what are you building as your house I’m building a lovely little Stone and wood Cottage it’s going to be so defensive against

These crazy zombies but are you sure a simple house is going to be enough to protect Mikey and JJ’s families don’t you worry chip this house is going to be way more defensive than anything else I’ve ever built even more defensive than what you’ve built hey Milo this is not a

Competition we’ve got to work together to make sure the zombies don’t take down Mikey or JJ’s family yeah I guess working together is the best way to win exactly that’s why I’m building a security Villa where we can all live together in harmony just in case your

To make my floors really high up let’s link this all the way up to the last side okay this is the final outside corner I’ve just got to place this link it up and do the inside corner for this part of the build here’s the inside corner hopefully this helps make the

Build feel a little more full I don’t want JJ’s family having to live in a tiny house together we should all have our own rooms and our own spaces especially if we need to share with Milo and Mikey’s family as well all right this is looking pretty complete but I

I guess green is kind of close to Blue but it’s also close to broccoli and spinach hey broccoli and spinach are healthy not bad yeah Red’s kind of close to strawberries and Cherry milkshakes and delicious Twizzlers it’s so many yummy things yeah and tomatoes hey I’ll thr throw tomatoes at

You if you’re not careful okay from the front this is looking pretty modern and pretty cool I’m going to keep adding these glass panes up to the roof so it goes all the way around it’s going to look so nice by the time I’m done with

This thing my house is going to be really closed off but I do want to have an open area even though this house is meant to survive the zombies I still want it to be nice for me and JJ’s family to enjoy I’m going to make the

Entire floor out of wood that way I can then get started on decor ating the inside if we’re going to live through a zombie apocalypse together we’re going to be doing it in style okay and I finished the floor it is time to get started on the inside decorations for

This level first I need to dig a little hole in the floor here to make a sitting area I know it’s not normal to have a sitting area inside the floor but when you’re this Rich you can have a sitting area anywhere and it’ll look cool what

Stairs can we use for this um oh I know I say we use some nether brick stairs and the red ones especially because that is a nice red color that fits really well with JJ and his family perfect I wish they had green stairs for you Milo

It must be really hard not having anything to build a family sofa with we’ll be fine I’ve got lots of cool ideas really like what well I’m just going to use a lot of green wool everywhere I think that’ll make the family feel really at home probably you’re actually really right Milo and

Wait a second I just realized something wow there are red sofas if I use red sofas instead of these red nether brick stairs it’ll look so much better wow it really does look so much better this is awesome but it actually does reveal a pretty big problem it shows that there’s

Dirt underneath let’s quickly replace all this dirt with some nice Oak planks I don’t want any dirt showing and what if the zombies managed to Tunnel up through the dirt oh no I just sat down zombies are famous for digging their way out of gravestones and cemeteries so I

Don’t know if they have some kind of dirt shifting ability but I do not want to take that chance no dirt is going to be visible in my house perfect look at this awesome sunken sofa I think it’s time to get some tables and place them

Down I say we use Birch coffee tables that fits the really nice fancy energy I want this place to have oh yeah looking perfect now let’s put a flower pot on top of it or something but wait what flowers could we possibly use and hey it doesn’t fit on the coffee table let’s

Extend it upwards so that it can fit any flowers we want um I say we do red tulips yeah that fits JJ’s energy really well and we can also do a White Tulip as well and oh wait I just realized something we can do an orange tulip for

Me I want to be included in this family cuz I am the one building the house after all now it’s time to get started on the kitchen H for this kitchen I want to make it really fancy so we’re going to use some pretty cool blocks first I

Need some diorite yep that’s perfect then we’ll get reinforced polished diorite cuz it’s even stronger than the regular stuff the kitchen can go right over here I think yep perfect and it can even loop around in an l-shape just like the rest of the house oh I’m so excited

To see how awesome this looks once I’m done perfect it’s going to have a nice kitchen tile pattern just like all the classic builds do oh perfect what kind of kitchen are you having Milo a really fancy one I think Mikey’s family is going to want to stay in this house last

Forever even after the zombies are gone really oh wow I think JJ’s family might as well we’re going to do such a good job on these houses but we’re never going to want to leave these zombies are going to actually be scared of our houses and probably run away yeah or

Milo they might love them so much that they try to move in and kick us out oh no why did you say that now I’m all shaky and nervous sorry Milo I did not mean to make you shaky and nervous I only want you you to be prepared that’s

Why I’m making a kitchen bench so that we can keep all of our food supply ready to be used in the event of an emergency sounds good to me I’ve got some really good kitchen supplies as well even a grill amazing okay now what else can we

Put in this kitchen oh I know let’s get a furnace and a blast cooker yep we also need a smoker as well this will cook any meat that we need to cook really fast we’ll do two furnaces one blast furnace and two smokers perfect now let’s add

Some pressure plates on top of these things so they look just like a stove boom boom boom oh yeah that looks awesome but hang on a second what if the smoke goes up to the ceiling let’s add a little kitchen smoke machine I need a wall and I need some stairs let’s use

Andesite perfect put it right above these things and it’ll lead up into the roof stopping any smoke from going everywhere let’s get one more block of andesite to finish off this thing and boom look at that perfect oh yeah this kitchen’s really starting to come together and it’s going to have a

Kitchen island where we can all cook and eat on this bench I think the kitchen island also needs to have some chairs on the other side of course they’re going to be red chairs as well they fit in so well with the color of everything else

In this house now I’m going to get started on the things hanging from the roof of my kitchen I’m going to have a bunch of lights on this thing as well H what kind of Lights can we get I know exactly what to do let’s get a bunch of

Lanterns we can place them just like this they look so beautiful that kitchen is amazing now that I’ve done that I think it’s time to start building something extra special over here in this section of the house there’s going to be a huge staircase leading right up

To the second level let’s get some smooth quartz slabs so that we can start building this thing we need to leave an open area at the start and at the front and the stairs are going to be really long just like in all the most rich houses the stairs now stick out but

Let’s raise it one more block this way this is pretty important because after we do this we’re going to dig a tunnel leading underground that you have to access through the stairs this will be the start of our secret bunker the bunker is an emergency Last Resort in

Case the zombies break through our walls let’s add a ring of smooth quartz around the entrance to the bunker just to separate it off from the rest of the house and wait I’ll put the oak wood back I did not mean to break that one now let’s start building the stairs

Downwards into the depths of the bunker I’m not going to start building the bunker yet because there are a couple other things that I want to build first but the stairs are definitely step number one those are something we need to build right this second this seems

Pretty deep enough yep I’m liking this so far now let’s quickly polish up the edge I don’t want to be caught off guard by any of those zombies I do not want to look sloppy in front of JJ’s family as well that would be so embarrassing okay

I’ll leave the dirt there for now because there are some other things I need to work on first before we finish that bunker this fancy house is going to have one of the biggest television sets I think anybody has ever ever seen it’ll go right next to the sofa area so

Everybody can sit and look at it all right let’s make a giant giant TV screen it’s attached to the glass on the wall because it is not going to fall off and it’s going to take up the entire thing oh wow this is huge I’m actually going

To make it a couple blocks smaller on this side I don’t want it to be too big and make everything else look that tiny finally let’s add a red carpet all over the floor here Perfection oh yeah we’ll also fill in the inside of it I don’t

Want to make an empty carpet that would just be weird wo this is looking so cool we’ve done an amazing job with the first floor of JJ’s Family Security house Milo Milo can I see the house that you’ve built for Mikey and his family yeah I

Guess you can come and have a look hey why are there blue flowers all around the outside when Mikey and his family are green well because as you can see these flowers have a mixture of blue and green which is perfect for the house that I’m building from Mary and his

Family oh because you’re living in it as well H it’s really sad that there’s no flower that’s a mix of orange and red I’m pretty glad that there’s no flower like that hey that’s rude Milo and wow this inside looks pretty good yep I think if they’re going to be here for a

Very long time I might as well make it really nice yeah really nice um but where are your defenses and it’s kind of small weren’t the zombies Corner them inside of this what there a is not small this is maybe the biggest house I’ve ever built uh Milo that’s a really sad

History of building houses then hey don’t be rude boo I’m trying my best and plus these zombies are going to have a run for their money if they try getting in here uh Milo do you mean through the door I’ll just give him the stink eye

And they want to run away Milo the only stink eye you’re going to get is your eye turning stinky when you turn into a zombie from them attacking you oh gosh all right I guess I’m a little bit nervous maybe I should do some more yeah I definitely think you should all right

Milo I’m going back to my house now good luck bye chip my gosh that’s so embarrassing I can’t believe Milo’s built that I really hope he manages to get his house looking better before the zombies come otherwise we might be in a lot of trouble I’m getting started on my

Second story Milo what about you yeah that’s what I’m doing as well I got quite a lot of potential for this Second Story yeah me too mine’s going to be even bigger than my first one the reason I’m doing that is because zombies cannot climb walls so if we have somewhere high

Up we can escape to it’ll make us way more safe against the zombies that’s so true oh my goodness I’m feeling pretty good about this yeah I feel pretty good about it too Milo I think we’re both going to survive this thing now it’s time for me to make my roof your roof

Yeah my roof or rather it’s the roof of the first story and the the floor of the Second Story well that’s pretty complicated but I think that’s what I’ve done as well yeah wait you’re also building a second story except your second level is smaller than your first

One um have you done that on purpose Milo yeah it’s for architecture oh Milo that seems kind of silly to me the zombies can’t climb walls remember so the second story is always more secure how about you mind run business now I’m going to build the sides of this wall

Like this I have a really complicated idea that I want to turn this into but it’s going to take some work first I’ve got to extend these quartz blocks up by how many blocks do I need to do again oh that’s right okay six we’ve got 1 2 3 4

5 six perfect We’ll add a final block on top and curve it back around this way oh yeah this is coming together exactly how I wanted it to now that we’ve done that let’s get started building the other one now we want to raise this part of the

Wall up by about that many blocks okay perfect we’ll connect it up to the original blocks that we raised all right right this wall is now fully complete but there’s another part of my house that definitely isn’t we’re going to raise this part of the house in sections

That are about I’d say five blocks wide each 1 2 3 4 five perfect okay now we’ll keep counting in fives all the way to the very end and unfortunately the very end one does need to be two blocks but that’s okay it doesn’t matter that it

Doesn’t look right we need to make sure we’re only focused on keeping everyone alive now we just have to add a second block of Quartz in every single one of these little Windows here perfect now we can actually start building what we want to put inside of these things on this

First one let’s raise it two more blocks and then extend it all the way to this point we don’t want to move it past here though that’s a pretty important part of my plan now let’s raise this one three blocks up and do the very same thing I’m

So excited to see this all coming together all right now we’ll do the final thing over here we’ll raise it two more blocks and boom we’ll now extend it all the way over to to the very start wait why is it invisible all right now it’s back that was pretty weird all

Right my brand new modern house is going to have a pretty interesting shape actually instead of these kinds of quartz blocks what if we use slabs oh yeah that looks even better and it means we don’t have to build up as high if we build too high it might be difficult to

Get up all the stairs to the Escape rooms if we want to live through the zombie apocalypse that’s something we’ve got to be smart about while building High keeps you away from the zombies it also makes it harder to get around your house and we do not want difficulty

Running away perfect my plan is really starting to take shape I’m so excited to see this thing be fully done now let’s extend these quartz blocks all the way to around here I think and then we can finally connect these ones up until the point that we are done with this special

Little quartz build all right perfect now that they’re all linked up it’s time to actually get started on building the floor this is going to be pretty annoying so uh you know what I’m just going to do it all right let’s build with these blocks all the way around

Like this oh perfect and we can even build them inside it’s going to be double thick because we’re sharing a floor and a roof remember whatever we build has to match up with level number one so we’ve got to be very careful not to mess anything up I don’t think JJ or

His family will be very happy with me if I make their new house look terrible perfect now that we’ve done all those oak woods let’s start adding the oak Planks on the inside I can’t wait to see everybody’s reactions when this house is fully complete and I also can’t wait to

See the zombies struggle to get past it speaking of zombies I don’t think I’ve actually made any defenses yet all I’ve done is make a really cool house once this house is complete we’re going to need to get started on building some super duper secure defenses to make sure

The zombies totally stay back but our first item on my priority list is building a cool house right now because if I don’t build a cool house we won’t have anything to defend in the first place and that’ll be pretty embarrassing for us let’s play these Oak planks as

Quickly as we can because I do not want to be caught off guard by the zombies before we’re done with this thing hey Milo how’s your build going yeah really good I’m just building out some bedrooms at the top for my really good friends myy wo that’s a really good idea Milo

Are you also building bedrooms for his family or just for Mikey well his whole family as well oh good idea I’m going to build so many bedrooms for everybody and you know what I might even make emergency bedrooms for you and and Mikey’s family to come join us all right

I need to build a ring of quartz blocks around this staircase just like this oh yeah this is looking perfect now that we’re done with that it’s actually time to start figuring out what we’re going to put up here I think this front section can be an awesome window yeah

Perfect let’s start extending this quartz block section all the way to the back just like this I’m going to have a mix of indoor and outdoor balconies on the top section of my house that way we’ll be able to get get a really good view of the zombies and shoot them back

With bows and arrows if we ever need to your house is looking uh pretty tiny on the Second Story Milo are you sure that’s all you want to make yeah it’s looking really good small is better because that way the zombies don’t have as much of a Target Milo it also means

They don’t have as much of a thing to try and get through it makes it so easy for them to find you once they break through your defenses all right I guess I’ll build a lava mode at the front that way the zombies will not be getting

Inside yeah I hope they don’t get inside Milo that would be really difficult for you and JJ’s family if they did yeah really difficult that’s why I’m taking the most precautions to make sure it doesn’t happen from the front our house looks pretty awesome but it’s time to

Start working on the back on this side of the build we’re going to have a huge window so that we can look over into Milo’s side and figure out what they’re doing just in case Milo’s house gets overrun and we need to have a look and

On this side side we’re just going to have a huge giant window for everybody to look out we need some sunlight because zombies hate the Sun so maybe if it’s too bright inside it’ll make it harder for them to invade the back wall is not going to have any Windows though

We need to keep at least one side of the house Totally Secure if the zombies cannot attack us from their back that means there’s only three sides we need to keep watch out for great now let’s finish this section of my roof and we can get started on the awesome sunroofs

The sunroof is going to be a big part of how we defend against the zombies because if the zombies get in they’re going to hate the sunlight so much that they’ll want to leave right away let’s grab some white stained gloss for the roof I could use red and I definitely

Could use orange but I think white will be better because it will let even more colors and sunlight through the sunlight is normally quite a white color so that’s definitely what we know works against zombies there’s no time to test every different color so let’s use what we know is successful the zombie

Mountain also kind of looks like it has cast on it maybe there’s a zombie Kingdom inside or crazy zombie rulers I don’t know why they’re there or why they decided to build a cave right next to where we want our houses perfect stage one of the sunroof is complete now we

Can continue working on the rest of it amazing now let’s fill this whole thing in with a bunch of glass and a bunch of the quartz that’s important so the glass roof isn’t so big because if a glass roof is too big it’ll instantly break the second something hits it and we

Don’t want that liability this way we also won’t have to spend much electricity on lighting that way we’ll have more energy to focus on defenses and traps that’ll hurt the zombies in different ways it’s a pretty genius idea if you ask me on my top level I’m going

To have so many bedrooms and I think I’m also going to have a game room or something like that I want to make sure everyone has so much fun in this house while we wait for the zombies to leave let’s build up this section of quartz so

That I can finally make my back window hi JJ’s wife she must be checking around the back of the the house for secret zombies entering don’t worry though Miss JJ the sun is still up so the zombies aren’t going to attack us yet although it is getting closer to nighttime so we

Better hurry Milo we don’t have much long left hey I’m going as fast as I can it’s okay you can take your time but don’t take too much time the sun’s up in the sky but it’s going to start going down pretty quickly oh great well now

Exciting now I can really get to work on the stuff I’m going to put inside actually wait I forgot to build a ledge to my balcony and that is so embarrassing so we’re going to use this white stained glass pane to make a whole Ring Around The Edge this way nobody can

Fall off especially the babies if there’s a baby around the house we have to make sure it’s really safe let’s add a staircase barrier over here yep I don’t want the baby accidentally walking off that would be really embarrassing and I think JJ and his wife would be

Really mad at me this wall of gloss is looking so awesome I think I’m very proud of it all right now we’ll just link it up down here perfect I really hope this glass doesn’t shatter though I know I decided to build a nice modern Villa but maybe it’s too nice and too

Modern I don’t know glass is pretty easy for zombies to shatter so if a zombie really wanted they could totally break this staircase oh I really will have to build some extra defenses but first I need to fill these rooms there’s actually nothing in the entire top level

And I definitely plan on fixing that once you come up the staircase you’re going to be greeted by a big wall and a huge hallway leading right down to everybody’s bedroom I think it can go up like this and perfect oh yeah I’m so excited to see this thing in action what

Oh my gosh chip look the fire is burning my bread wait what Milo your Bridge no don’t let the fire burn it you need to use trap doors made out of iron so they don’t catch fire let’s use Whit stained glass pane here this is going to be the

Bedroom and everyone’s going to share a huge huge bunk bed that goes all the way to the ceiling of course I will get my very own bed in the corner that will be way bigger than everybody else’s let’s find the color beds we need we need a

Red bed some lime beds definitely a light blue bed and absolutely an orange bed let’s arrange these in color order so we don’t get confused first we need three red beds for JJ and his family perfect then we need three line beds for Mikey’s family and at the very top we

Can have a light blue bed for Milo yep that’s perfect and right next to everybody we’re going to have a triple no a quadruple bed for chip maybe even eight beds all tied together into one super bed wow I’m going to have a very good night’s sleep and actually these

Beds are kind of getting in on my space so I’m going to get rid of them so I have a much nicer experience let’s also build a nice safety barrier around my bed and perfect all right that’s awesome let’s add a ladder or something so Milo

And JJ and Mikey can all reach their beds the game room is also going to be made out of glass so everybody can get a real good look inside and see how many awesome games there are let’s build it around just like this and for the entrance we can have a huge opening

Right here the glass is also going to bend down into the floor I cannot wait to see this thing I wish I could live here forever by myself I really wish the zombies weren’t a problem we’ll extend the gloss up just like this oh yeah I’m

Excited to see what this ends up looking like gloss is one of my favorite things to build with because it lets everybody see all the awesome things I like to put inside every room in every house I make otherwise people would have no idea how cool my builds are especially not Mikey

And JJ’s families they need to know I have to do everything in my power to make sure they fully know I’m an awesome base Builder but I also have to make sure the zombies don’t know I don’t want them to come and try to party in here

Once the zombies all get defeated by our super secure houses we should throw a massive party to celebrate them getting totally kicked out I think we could even host it in my house because I’m about to build the coolest games room anybody has ever seen and no zombies allowed all

Right now that we built the gloss boook it’s time to stop putting things inside chip help me my what is it I can’t see anything Milo that’s cuz you have a dragon head on top of your head oh my feet are all hot and I can’t see

Anything help me Milo get out of the lava you’ve got to take the dragon head off your head what I can’t hear you oh Milo oh goodness okay uh good luck Milo I’m going to make a games room inside the games room I’m going to have a huge

Trampoline Milo might even want to jump on this thing to knock that crazy dragon off of his head he’s so silly I cannot believe he went and did that I’m also going to grab each different color of sofa so that we can all enjoy some awesome games we can sit down and watch

Each other play ping pong and table tennis oh table tennis is a great idea we’re going to need some carpets in order to make this thing we can have the trampoline there but next to it I want to have a ping pong table and even though it is made out of red trampolines

If we put Carpets on top it looks just like a m in themed ping pong table perfect now let’s add more carpet on it and wow if we throw things they’ll bounce across it just like a real ping pong table it’s pretty awesome if you ask me I’m a great game designer let’s

Also have a bunch of books I guess I think JJ and his family are really smart so while Milo and Mikey’s family are all pottying with the ping pong table and the trampoline I think JJ and his family will really enjoy the books that I put

On this wall let’s add some red potty flags all around the roof of this place I want this thing to look so fun and eventful oh yeah we’re all going to have so much fun while the zombies are dying outside not even able to get in perfect

That looks awesome wow and let’s even add a painting or two I think we should get Kong Kong is such a cool painting and it looks just like Donkey Kong oh wow it looks real like a video game that’s amazing I’m so happy with this so far let’s Place more paintings over

These walls as well we want them to look super duper awesome we can’t just have one fun world with video games on it but look the paintings kind of look like different TV screens having different fun things all around and I know I’ve built lots of fun things and a place for

Everyone to sleep but I’m thinking now I think we need an Armory yeah that’s right some way where we can refuel and have armor in case we need to survive we need to think about what blocks we could possibly use in an Armory I think an anvil and a campfire are some great

Starts yeah and we need a grindstone as well as a stone cutter I think a blast furnace is also perfect and maybe some cauldrons too we also need some chains and some lanterns this thing’s going to look pretty awesome let’s have some decorated pots full of storage material

Perfect now let’s start putting down furnaces here and we can have a pile of anvils too yep perfect let’s also have a campfire here which is holding up a cauldron with chains tying it to the roof wow we can put molten metal inside that thing speaking of the metal it’s

Going to be cut using these awesome Stone Cutters let’s have some blocks on the sides of them like a Bloss furnace as well and a cauldron to cool things down finally we need a stone cutter to be able to turn all our crazy resources into some armor let’s get a bunch of

Armor stands and a bunch of netherite armor for everybody yeah this is perfect I think this will really help but we also need a turtle shell for Mikey Mikey absolutely loves turtle shells because you know he is a turtle after all wait a minute where’s Mikey’s family I don’t

See them anywhere okay here’s Mikey’s baby there’s Mikey’s wife but uh-oh where is Mikey I think Mikey’s gone missing but hey Mikey’s inside my house wait a minute that’s not a good thing Mikey if you’re inside my house that means you ran away from Milo’s base was

It not good enough uh-oh if Milo’s house isn’t good enough I’ve got to make sure mine is extra good that way if we need to run here in an emergency we’ve got somewhere really safe to go okay I’ve got armor for me and everyone in JJ’s family now let’s have three sets of

Armor for Mikey’s family one two and the baby can even get some armor as well we do not want to leave them out and finally let’s add one piece of armor for Mikey we use a turtle shell helmet and the rest can be regular netherite that’s
