Minecrafter I am you know I’m not I don’t mine and I don’t get resources like that I’d be taking from Vapor stash of diamonds to buy myself things so I proposed emeralds which of course are a little bit problematic because like if you trade with villagers like you can

Get a crazy amount of emeralds very quickly uh depending on how you do it like right now we don’t have that kind of emerald or that kind of uh villager trading Hall set up where where it’s ridiculous we have like 50 emeralds in total um yeah and we need those to trade

Back with the Villagers and stuff but the point is um that um he was like but yeah if you trade with the Villagers like to to that crazy Mount then you know the emeralds become you know kind of um ridiculously worthless in the sense that

Like you have so many of them and also though it puts him at a disadvantage because apparently seith is not really villager Savvy and doesn’t really mess with those and so what I was proposing was a dual um emerald and diamond trading system where we would figure out

The conversion rates between those two and like what their conversion rates to other stuff would be and all that um I’m sure there’s different like stuff out there listed with those kinds of things but the the point is is it was just a discussion between the two of us it’s

Not server wide or anything so I’d love your input on it yeah so I I think that having what’s the word I’m looking for having a resource is going to be obviously very important to trade with I think that having uh diamonds are probably the most like useful thing if that makes sense

Yeah that’s true but because I don’t necessarily go out and mine diamonds like I can and hopefully like when I’m doing mining or strip mining or whatever hopefully I find some but those people who are able to provide a re a a specific fun or resource are you know able

To earn the diamonds that like I wouldn’t naturally have up if that makes sense okay um so this gives me that ability to like earn it through a different Source right but it also comes down to like what do you you know what what is plentiful enough as well so

Like having emeralds may be good even if you’re not able to use the with the people you can get other people to buy your goods or your services right so so and and those would be your your the way that you are getting those resources yeah so like or

Would pay for you you bringing him the wood with emeralds then you would take those emeralds and now you need um a diamond so you’re going to go to my shop and you’re going to buy a diamond that I found and so then you’re going to take

That diamond and you’re going to use that to or you to build whatever and then I’m going to take your Emerald P me and I’m going to go find SE and uh ask him to set up a furnace array for me and so now you have this this kind of system

Where emeralds themselves worthless yeah but the things that you’re getting with them are important to you and so you buy them you use them it is honestly the same thing with with money in real life right same thing yeah so it kind of just it it comes down

To I don’t know what system are you trying to like work with what are you trying to accomplish because like the the item itself that you use for a currency literally doesn’t it can have no value it doesn’t matter uh as long as it serves the purpose of allowing you to purchase

This progresses and as you continue to grow the need for a currency arises and you’re going to ask for you’re you’re going to need to set up a currency at that point and it kind of depends on when you when and how you get to that system and what is important for that

Would say like we it wasn’t on purpose or anything but I think that’s part of the reason why he turned on keep inventory because it will cause me to ra quit l so yeah I think that for something like this those types of mods are an acceptable

Like sacrifice or like or like if it makes sense for the people in the game then there’s not really any point in not doing it right um I think that if you’re trying to have like a more I don’t know either immersive game than like mods or cheats or whatever whatever those are
