EPIC Minecraft Dungeons Finally Released on All Platforms!

Pacific time right and there was so many issues dude like I’ve refunded and repurchased this game like three or four times just to get it to work the first time I had it purchased like it for some reason messed up and was associated with the wrong email because Microsoft can’t

Make a store page to save their life and then I ended up refunding that version buying it on my main email and then when I actually got into the game it asked me to sign into my emails and no matter what email I used it said you don’t own

A legitimate copy of the game so I tried buying it on the Mojang launcher and then that damn worked because it just keeps saying by now by now by now so I refunded it because I actually own like two or three copies of this game and you

Know what ended up happening at the end of the day I want to give a shout it to Microsoft slash Mojang for giving me a copy of this game because it’s the only version that worked none of the store purchased ones worked and I’m like oh uh even then like look

At this I don’t even see anybody online it’s so weird however all of that aside let’s just get into it apparently you can actually friend people in-game rather than having to use like your gamer tag your Xbox account to friend people you do still have to have an Xbox

Account in order to play online and friends people on PC you don’t have to have Xbox gold on console you have to have usually paid membership anyways I’ll shut up subjugating more destroying all in their path this is a time for Heroes like yourself make haste the villagers have need of you

Aside from all that crap I am ecstatic guys I’m so pumped to be playing this game again and now it’s actually the full release yes also if you are playing this game we’ll be able to friend each other okay it’s gonna be awesome and we’ll be able to play together but you

Advanced reptile brain that is taking place here so for those of you that don’t know minecraft dungeons lots of people confuse it with an expansion for base minecraft it is not based minecraft is a completely different game just based in the Minecraft universe and in short it’s gonna be a game like Diablo

You know it’s a dungeon crawler or even path of Exile might be a better example for a lot of you guys and oh my god it’s just such a good game dude like when I was playing the beta I wasn’t exactly sure if I was gonna be as into it as I

Was but I ended up getting super duper into it the thing about this game is there’s not really any classes you kind of just go and you can change your character where what is the button what is the freakin button to end up going into my inventory

There it is you can literally change your character’s class or build whatever based on the gear that you have so you can just kind of play how you want whatever and that’s the thing I actually love about it is it’s an extremely casual dungeon crawler game very easy to

Get into the difficulty does scale up a lot and gets really really fun on the higher difficulties because you’re literally dealing with hundreds of enemies on screen LR jars are pillagers or whatever they’re called I don’t know minecraft lore okay be quiet but it’s four player co-op which is what’s so

Awesome about it you’ll come across these chests in maps if you’re playing multiplayer people can steal your arrows so be careful that’s where the emote wheel comes into place but I don’t know where exactly that is oh there’s also the map that we can throw up as well throw up that’s a poor

Choice of words there but oh my god so many people are dealing with so many issues just purchasing the game its socks dude like I ran into so many problems and I just couldn’t get the game to run until I got the like the key from them right so there’s also going to

Be the heroes Edition which I would highly recommend that you guys get the game itself is 20 bucks it’s a steal ok 30 bucks for the Heroes Edition which will get you the two DLC packs that will come in the future as of right now the

Game doesn’t have cross play but it will have it in the future they they did actually talk about that how they want to end up you know adding adding it to the future I don’t know what’s going on right now the game is yelling at me so

This is an artifact the fireworks arrow so the artifacts are literally going to end up being items that will be on a cool-down so we can we can equip it we can use it I shoulda shot at a wall cuz it’s actually a really cool explosion

But here’s here’s the brunt of how this game works in terms of leveling and building your character right so essentially as we level up let me let me get my mouse here as we level up we get this right here this is an enchantment token and then for each piece of gear in

The game they’re going to end up generating with a random number of enchantments the better the gear it can actually have three enchantments total right but the thing is that for each of these enchantments in each of these slots you can only pick one and then you

Can end up augmenting that and making it super duper powerful so we could go for smiting which is increased damage against undead or we could go for poison which is just a you know take damage over time we’ll get a better sword so it doesn’t really matter let’s get the

Smiting for right now because I know for a fact that a lot of the starting areas we’re dealing with undead enemies so that’s 20% more damage right now here’s the thing and this is this is where minecraft dungeons like really steps up is now that we actually spent that

Enchantment coin we actually don’t have any left so if we wanted to enchant our bow we would have to level up again to get another enchantment token and then we could invest into this or we could keep advancing smite up to three levels this mind is just the

Example we could have done it with the poison or other effects as well now the thing that’s so cool about this game is as far as I’ve heard no confirmation on it yet there’s infinite leveling in the game so that you can constantly get those enchantment tokens because in order to

Let’s say we end up finding a new piece of gear and we equip it and we want to be able to enchant it we would have to salvage this piece of gear and then you get all of your enchantment tokens back okay so as of the early portions of the

Game you’re gonna end up you know having to basically dismantle your gear constantly and later on once we end up getting more and more levels and enough levels I should say – there’s the explosive enough levels to actually put enchantments on multiple pieces of gear you know not only to fully max our

Equipment out with our arm or our bow and our weapon but on top of that there’s also going to end up being other weapons you might end up finding and say you find a unique sword you level it up it’s really strong but you find another

Unique weapon that you’d want to try out you could either actually salvage the unique weapon that you already have equipped to get all of the enchantment slots or you can wait until you’ve leveled up enough that you just have abundance of enchantment tokens which i think is gonna be really really cool

When you know we get to the endgame and all that stuff kicks in so these are going to end up being chests some of them like the way that the game works is there’s going to be set pieces that are generated the same all the time and then

Other areas that are random or more so that certain rooms will randomly generate next to each other but the whole thing is that these chests this is a tutorial so it’s a bad example the chests will end up being random if they spawn in their designated spot or

Another spot right there’s also going to end up being hidden chests so on any other map maybe we would roll down here we can’t his very eyes but maybe we would roll down there and there would end up being a you know a special secret chest that we

Could end up getting which we you know we’re gonna keep going today there’s gonna be a little bit longer of an episode so we can end up doing the first dungeon area for sure together but I just I just want to get all this stuff out of the way guys so that moving

Forward I don’t got to kind of be explaining everything it’s just with the first episode I kind of figure this is this is me selling you on this game and again the fact that this is only 20 bucks like this game is a steal so now we actually seamlessly came to the camp

This is gonna be like the big hub area of the game and oh man I’m excited cool story I was gonna say bro but sis as you can see the traveling merchant will show up here and there there’s gonna be like a Smith workshop so we can end up spending emeralds to

Get random gear from him you can get uniques from them as well a little bit later on the way that the game works also is your gear is actually has a power level associated to it so your level doesn’t actually matter to make you stronger it’s just the fact that

You’re leveling up means you can enchant more gear and that is how you end up actually getting stronger I’ve also heard that later on in the game there’s gonna be a forge so we could potentially level up this starting sword that we have to a higher tier and thus we would

Be able to continuously use it in later portions of the game instead of always having to swap to new gear so now we got another we got on our side item whatever the heck those are called artifact which literally pulls enemies to us so I can actually show you guys an example right

Now I personally don’t find this thing to be that good but whoa all right doesn’t work on these guys it used to yeah it used to actually it used to work on these training dummies but I guess they changed this since the beta because people would like pull these dummies

Into like really weird spots and stuff and then yeah I still can’t get to him either which is weird but yeah the camps gonna upgrade over time as we end up saving certain villagers and stuff Oh gracious its water sheep man yeah I’m I’m not I’m not trying to steal that joke or

Anything I’m just saying like he’s up there dude we all know where that’s from so we’re going to be going to creeper woods now here’s the thing that’s so cool about this game the difficulty and the way that it works is we are on default okay let’s just consider it normal mode so

With default difficulty we can actually crank it all the way up to default difficulty 6 we can’t do it right now just because we’re way too weak but here’s the thing is once we end up beating the main campaign we’ll actually be able to bump up to adventure mode and

Then adventure mode can go from difficulty 1 to 6 and then apocalypse mode which can go from 1 to 6 and them I’m so excited for this game dude I’m so excited to play all the other areas get to the higher difficulties because at the higher difficulties there’s new

Enchantments that’ll show up new enemy enchantments new artifacts that says better rewards like so much content gets locked out for later portions of the game and I’m really really excited to be able to do it with you guys like oh my god and we probably could crank the

Difficulty just to make it fun but that’s ok oh also strong recommendation even if you’re on PC play this game with a controller it doesn’t work as well with mouse and keyboard it’s very unfortunate it’ll just decree all three folk are now enemies of the illegitimate somewhere in these woods a caravan is

Transporting villager prisoners later and far-off lands find the caravan and stop the images or there’s no telling what dreadful dog will befall our villager friends so there’s like some weird mage villager or illage or that I don’t know he’s like a loser and that’s why he’s

Thought originally like I’m an idiot those of you that tuned into my beta videos will know that I talked about how the DLC for this game would probably just be like 1 or 2 areas no apparently it’s gonna be like full-on expansions with like 17 zones each so there’s like

2 DLCs with the season pass which I’m trying to figure out whether or not the you know whether or not Microsoft hooked me up with the heroes edition of the game and if they didn’t I mean I can just buy the season pass easy-peasy what is this I’ve never this wasn’t in

The beta what was that so this is actually a spot where sometimes sometimes there would actually be a chest that would randomly spawn here it seems like instead it just ended up spawning a pot with some emeralds in it or something which okay cool bombs away TNT oh god I’m so it didn’t

Even work and TNT can work on your friends so what I like to do is just attack my friends with TNT it’s so fun dude so the rolling doesn’t actually give you invulnerability frames it’s just like a quick step way to dodge at least it didn’t in the beta which I

Don’t know we’ll see what happens with that there’s also oh god there’s so many weapons in this game guys there’s fists weapons their sights weapons there’s spear weapons like oh my god I’m so excited for the late-game weapons the way that the bow works by the way is

Pretty self-explanatory we can just tap like a freak and then it’s really weak or we can do a full charge I hope there’s other ranged weapons instead of just the bow because so far I’ve only ever seen the bow like I’d love it if there was throwing weapons and stuff you know

That would just be so cool but there’s there’s other like magic abilities as well one of the big things that I’m really excited for is there is an artifact that I know it’s straight-up ripped from Diablo 3 where it’ll throw down kind of a bubble shield and then

All of the arrows and projectiles from enemies will slow down to a crawl while they’re in that shield and it’s just it’s so dope dude like I just I can’t wait I’m sorry Cal this game is evil by the way like you still kill cows now

Cows and sheep and they just give you like meat and junk get over here why is that not working get over here ok I didn’t mean to do it with that guy but whatever but the thing that I love so much about this game that completely sold me on it

Originally is because in the beta we actually got to like max difficulty right and it seemed like a lot of the artifacts and a lot of the late-game items and stuff like that like you can make your character so fast in this game and that’s what like those of you that

Know me for my trove videos know that I love speed that is one of my favorite things to do in a video game is to get as fast as humanly possible I’m kind of going into these areas by the way I know it looks like they’re empty but I’m

Trying to see whether or not some of the random chess ended up spawning because then we could end up gaining some good loot this is oh this is a perfect example of something I really want to show you guys as well I’m glad that we got to tackle

This in the first episode so in some areas of the game these dungeons will kind of end up spawning and they’re kind of a secret dungeon there where you can explore right as soon as we grab this map it’s actually unlocking a secret Zone on the world map so we’re actually

Unlocking a level that we previously would not be able to go to until we end up finding it within another zone so it pays to explore like we could have beaten the entire game without actually unlocking the creepy crypt which is an insane dungeon by the way like it’s

Super duper crazy difficult because it’s got like creepers all over the place ok here we go axé time I’m gonna chop him down here’s the chest that you this is a really good chest even though I didn’t drop anything good just a normal bow but haha to shade

Now the axe is not going to end up being as strong or as fast as the sword but it does have a lot more sweeping and crowd control so that was a speed potion we just grabbed on the ground speaking of being able to make your character you

Know faster now the other thing too that’s really cool is if you want to meta this game there’s not much point you can actually charge up your third strike so one two and then we could walk around for a little bit and third strike and the third strike with the axe is

Going to end up being a sweeping spin attack so you could use that to your advantage to pick off a couple of them smaller minions and then run into a crowd and end up using that charged attack you know what I mean it’s just all these little details that I just

Absolutely love about this candy on top of the fact that it’s just it’s beautiful man like it looks great well I might have to change some of my settings for you guys in the next episode to make it look a little bit better because I’m noticing that the

Brightness is a bit too high so I might have to change the contrasting a bit but I mean most of all it just affects like these underground areas so it doesn’t matter too too much now the one thing that I want you guys to keep in mind too

Because this tricked me so many times during the beta is that this dungeon that we just did you can only do this secret area within creepy woods or creeper woods once so I’m assuming that the rest of the unlocked zones are gonna work that way as well where what I mean

By that is if we come into this area another time like if we’re repeating creeper woods we actually won’t see that map to pick up and thus it won’t end up opening this section of this dungeon so there’s not as much reason to go out of your way

First armor set Wolf’s armor yes oh it looks so good wait is this oh it says it’s a purple sword because we’ve got one enchantment in it let’s get rid of that this actually seems to have some pretty good enchantments it’s got bone marrow and piercing and stuff which

Maybe we’ll just keep the default one but I want to look at the enchantments on this weapon so we’ve got increased chance for mobs to drop consumables that’s just food items and oceans and junk and then some of your attacks follow up by another attack in rapid succession five second cooldown

This echo is such a good enchantment now one of the other big things that I want to say about this game guys that I love is the developers are just so they’re my kind of people like the developers specifically said out yeah we know that certain enchantments are going to end up

Being more powerful than others but we don’t care because it’s about making it fun I wish more game developers thought this way instead of always trying to balance everything to 100% efficiency you know it’s a video game make it fun that’s that’s what I like about it you

Know on top of that here’s a little bit of Minecraft Dungeons trivia for you guys that I only heard about recently which i think is hilarious so apparently get this apparently all these maps like all of this stuff you see right here they built all of this within normal minecraft with world edit

And tools like that and then they imported it into the Unreal Engine so that they could make it all pretty and everything one of what an unorthodox way of designing a game you know I mean I guess minecraft essentially is like a map maker so it totally makes sense for

Them to do something like that but still dude that’s like so weird when I ended up hearing that so you can see over here that’s pointing to our objective so it’s telling us that we’re going the wrong way white right now which I don’t really

Care cuz I just want to get all of the epic loot even though we’re only at the beginning of the game so it’s not like it matters too much die but the oh I guess I should have shown you guys too that the wolf Armour actually has a

Passive perk where we have a damage boost aura so all of our friends will end up gaining it as well health potions also heal nearby allies you’ll you will be able to get a dog in this game I think that’s actually going to end up being the second artifact that we’re

Going to get guaranteed from beating this level I could be wrong they might have changed a lot of this stuff since the beta but I’m very happy I got to actually play the beta because you know not only did we get to cover it and stuff like that but also just the fact

That I am completely and utterly sold on this game now you know hi creeper so that was our echo by the way that’s why it went because it did like a second attack if we didn’t have that second attack that creeper might have actually blown up in my face oh man

There’s another one he exploded guys it wasn’t me I shouldn’t have wasted that but I did that’s what that big purple that I keep showing or seeing is the echoing now you can kite pretty easily in this game honestly speaking which is great but the whole thing is that when

You’re dealing with higher difficulties you’re ganna have like hundreds of enemies on screen and it gets really really difficult to end up like dodging attacks and stuff but we’re actually doing it like a boss right here so we got to be careful cuz these freaks again

Be trying to destroy me bow is actually really powerful too I wish that it wasn’t as strong as it was just cuz when I experienced it in the beta the bow was pretty much the strongest because of the fact that you could keep a distance from your enemies and it essentially ended up

Making it so that it was a lot easier to survive and stuff there are chests that I missed say what really I didn’t even notice those god this is where I need like the speed boost artifacts and stuff because I don’t have them right now whatever longer episode right no let me

Uh well it’s not that bad we can just go check it real quick I would say a lot of these things were just in Minecraft – just for buildings sake oh that’s why I didn’t see it because it was super duper hidden it’s my potion perfect timing

It’s all about finding those uniques man like when you start getting all that crazy gear later on it gets really really exciting because I mean I’m just excited to see how many more weapon types there are because there was maybe like five different weapon uniques during the beta or something I ended up

Getting them all I didn’t cover it in a video but I did get them all there was a two-handed weapon there was a dual sickle weapon I’ve seen on their Twitter and stuff like actual proper sight than everything so I’m guessing what weapon I’m gonna main yeah you’re

In Reaper man we coming in it looks so cool too because the sights weapons second attack actually does a wave in front of it so it’s actually got really good range even though it’s a melee weapon which is awesome oh we do one shot those guys okay I

Guess that’s cuz we’re on easy mode so it’s our default one I should say god the difficulty I wish it was just normal hard and then ultra hard or something you know something to make a little bit more sense to people because otherwise explaining it is just gonna be a mess

But see that’s why I mean like this this area even though the zone itself is random generated this is always going to end up being the same so sometimes oh my god really so sometimes you might not be you might not see like the wooden bridges that we

Saw earlier or something like that I actually went over here too and I didn’t even see this chest always guy always got open than that man like seriously dude rolling gives you like you got like a little cooldown with your rolling as well which you can you can

Just sprint roll like later on which is really nice that was a terrible shot by me but charge me if you – she loves spiders yeah this should also be if they kept it the same there’s gonna be a treasure peg up here and I can’t wait to absolutely

Gives us increased attack speed and movement speed so this is the one that we will use in tandem with another artifact to give us even more movement speed I shouldn’t have popped it right now but that’s okay most of all the attack speed that we get out of it is

Really really good though I’m pretty sure it’s already worn out though so it doesn’t matter too much we gotta save all the villagers save them die inch enter die other pillager all right there’s usually like a lot of dudes up here so whoo and it’s gameis

They make the tnt take longer like come on man it takes so long to explode what’s over here what thought ah see aha so that’s actually a secret that we ended up opening somewhere else on the level if I’m not mistaken I could be wrong I do remember that we ran into

That during the beta as well though so I think it opens a dungeon that might actually be on the other side of the compound here I hope because otherwise I don’t know there’s there’s lots of Secrets in this game dude it’s actually really fun again to reiterate the fact

That it wants you to explore okay that’s not it maybe we opened something like for later or earlier because I think there’s there’s like a temple that starts closed and what we basically did was just open that but I have no idea where it ends up spawning and it’s

Actually like a really good secret area that that switch doesn’t always generate there is the big thing that I’m on about whoo let’s do super speedy attack speed heck yeah gamer yes more supplies not that I need the arrows I hope that that just opens something later and I’m not

Missing something it doesn’t really matter to too much cuz obviously you know we’re still really early on in the game so it’s fine died oh god man a lot of this axe is really strong dude or it’s well I mean more than likely it’s just because like

These guys are super duper weak because we’re on too easy a difficulty but still dude we are kicking butt right now all right is there anything over here any secret treasure cuz sometimes it will be invisible treasure chest and then as you go up to them they’ll go

Brah and they appear though I’m not just I’m not just going over there for absolutely no reason okay gamers alright there’s something else over on the right I wonder if that’s my temple yeah destroying them before they even lay a finger on me dude unless there’s chest

Here oh my god what is all this creepy zombie noise institude get out of here sheep geez terrifying oh god I gotta change the size of the HUD – I got shrink it down a little bit so you guys can actually see my how many enchantments I haven’t stuff oh that was

Us being invisible I didn’t even notice get over here hah cuz yeah there’s invisible potions I don’t know if there’s like invisible armor sets later maybe there is some really badass armor though that’s for darn sure yeah I like how the Sheep try to attack back like

Okay that’s funny oh there’s a hidden chest there I’m going for it it’s not really hidden if it’s literally right there but lots of emeralds oh God yeah when when the creepers end up not being one hit that’s that’s when it gets really tough get over here

Also fighting enemies on high you know I have the high ground like dealing with enemies on higher levels can be a bit tricky as well well we didn’t end up getting whatever was associated with pressing that button oh well thanks to you mm-hmm either way man I’m super pumped all right let’s get

Our loot crate here I’m assuming this is ganna be the dog bone yes no oh the speed boots right they give us that one first which I would much rather have that over the fishing rod because that thing kind of sucks let’s also destroy these I wish that

There was um I wish that there was a way you can unintelligible the way uh like I don’t know if there is an inventory chest somewhere which would be awesome if there was you found a chest with 50 emeralds claim okay I don’t know if this is like daily logging or something

That’s actually a way better spot for it because during the beta they had it like hidden down here and it was kind of dumb but I would love to be able to actually store my items dude because otherwise everything is just in your inventory you have infinite inventory in this game but

You can’t like lock items or anything so you might end up like destroying an item that you want to keep or something I don’t know and then this is kind of just my house fun fact this is actually the room where at the end of the level when

You open up that loot crate that’s actually the room that they end up using I’m assuming that will end up getting more and more NPCs a little bit further on but we got the blacksmith which with him we can end up trading emeralds for random pieces of gear so we just got a

Bow that has power five which means that not the power five enchantment it literally has a power level of five versus the other one that we had which was power four right so that’s where our power rank as it were is going to increase based on the enchantments and

Based on the gear that we end up having so you can spend your Emeralds – we just got a unique is that unique no it’s not what the that looks weird what is this trick bo hits multiple enemies a sleek bow that seems to never miss its target okay that’s weird I

Thought it was a unique because we’ve never seen like there wasn’t other bows like this oh it’s got ricocheting too and homing hmm this is actually a great find so early on guys like seriously is essentially it doesn’t have much damage but we can use this for crowd control

And it’s really really good so we got supercharged so the supercharged shots deal more damage infinity which is a chance to immediately replenish an arrow after shooting and multi shot which grants five arrows shot at once which would probably end up being pretty good for us right now honestly speaking but anyways

Like hidden areas around here as well and speaking of the end if it is going to end up being what is this portal is currently closed the islands map and two brand-new adventures will be available for purchase soon so that’s gonna be the DLC and it’s an enderpearl so they are
