Welcome to another a quick follow-up video actually to the last video i put out on how to add resource and behavior packs to your minecraft bedrock server now in the last video i showed you how to add a resource and a behavior pack to your minecraft bedrock server and the one in Particular i added was this one uh it was the lockable chests where we’ve got these uh chests that you can place down and you can uh lock them and unlock them and destroy them um so the the add-on involved a behavior and a resource pack And i showed you how to add them and i had a great question on the video by teddy terry who asked can you show how to add multiple packs and of course that’s something i probably should have done in the last video which showed you how to actually add more than one behavior And one more than one resource pack so in this video i’m going to quickly show you how to do that so with this video i’m going to assume you know how to or at least you watched the last video and that’s the reason you’re watching this one on how to add a Resource or behavior pack to your server so the process basically was copying the resource and behavior packs over to their relevant folder behavior packs and resource packs on the minecraft bedrock server and then get grabbing the uu ids from the manifest.json files and creating two new Files one for the resource pack which is called world underscore resource packs.json and one for the behavior packs which is world underscore behavior underscore packs.json and then within those two files we copied from the manifest file the uuid place that in here and also the version number and exactly the same for the The other other manifest.json file for the other packs but what if you wanting to add in more than one behavior or resource pack well it’s just a simple case of copying over uh the behavioral resource pack the first one i’m going to copy over here to demonstrate is a Resource pack called d pixel lite now this is actually going to change a lot of textures on the server on the game show it’s going to be look a lot different so let’s just copy that over to the resource pack stop folder and we’ll wait for the confirmation once that’s Complete once the transfer is complete okay our resource pack has been transferred over successfully there and you can see that’s in under the previous one that we added in uh so let’s now transfer over this behavior pack to the relevant folder uh this one i’m copying Over is for a one player sleep behavior pack which just enables only one player that needs to go go to bed for it to turn into daytime instead of everyone that’s currently on the server so we’re just going to copy this one over i think it’s actually double file structure so That’s the one we need to copy over behavior pack uh is it coming in there yeah just transferring over transfer complete um let’s just drop it up another level yep transfer complete so there it is above the previous behavior pack next thing we needed to do was go into Our current world folder and create a worldresourcepacks.json file now that’s already created for us so we just need to pretty much continue on this same format and so that’s the lockable chests resource pack let’s go to the resource pack for the um the new texture pack that we’re adding In d pixel light go to the manifest.json file uh we’re just going to grab out the uuid for that in this case from the header there it’s that one there making note again of the version number zero 1708 and it’s just a simple matter of just continuing on uh The same same fashion there curly brackets putting again a pack underscore id i’ll fix that up underscore id pasting in the uuid going down there and going version fixing up the formatting and it was 0 17. oh wait and yeah so that’s it just so that’s the Previous uh uh resource pack we’ve added in and just adding in another one just put a comma there and just letting it know there’s something else to enter in there and that’ll be validated for the second resource pack so we’ll just file and save that one and Now we’ve just got to do the exact same for the behavior pack so just going into the one place sleep behavior pack going to the manifest.json file and again we’re just going to grab out the uuid for that one and making note of the version number in this case two three zero so Just closing out of that going back up to our world behavior packs.json file that we created within our current world and exact same stuff again there we’re just going to create some more curly brackets pack id uuid version number and of course the version number was two comma three comma zero And yeah we just put that in the exact same fashion there as we did for the uh resource back there so that’s one entry that’s the second entry and we go file save so we can see that the world underscore behavior packs and the world underscore resource underscore Packs.json files have the exact same structure and every entry has its own separate uh place within the curly brackets there and if you’re wanting to just add on more you just simply put the comma and if we were to add on another one we would just continue the Same fashion there by placing a comma and continuing continuing on adding um adding on our extra packs uh making sure at the end you don’t have a comma because every time there’s a comma tells the game that is another pack to read and it’ll make the json file not valid And probably get some sort of errors so uh you just simply continue on adding on the packs in that exact same fashion there with the commas and the curly brackets and away you go making sure though of course some if you have multiple behavior packs and some resource packs there could be the Potential for them to conflict against each other if they’ve got conflicting logic or conflicting files or textures there so just be aware of that when you’re adding on extra behavior and resource packs so that’s how you add multiple resource and behavior packs let’s test it out let’s uh make sure everything’s saved Restart the server jump in and have a look so we’re just loading back into our server there and as we start to load in we can see the text change to a sort of a slightly smoother texture this texture pack that i’ve added is actually like a um Uh you know a 32 bit bit texture so uh does look slightly similar but it’s a double double the resolution uh you can probably see a little bit better with some of the some of the vines here and some of the blocks look a bit sharper Some of the grass looks a bit sharper there if we just scroll through it you can see yeah it looks a little bit sharper there but the other behavior pack that we added was a one player sleep so let’s now test that one out so as we can see we’ve got a second Player on the server we’ve got a bed let’s go to change it to night time just so we can see that it actually Works with the one place sleep behavior pack that’s night time and normally if i go to lay in the bed it’s not going to do anything but if i because we need all players to sleep that are in the server but if i go down Hop into bed and you can see it’s gone good morning it’s changed so it only needs the one player to sleep so there we go we’ve got uh two resource packs and two behavior packs on the server one for being the lockable chests for the behaviour and the resource packs and the Second being the updated textures uh that you can see the kelp looks a bit sharper some of the graphics a little bit sharper there and the other one being the behavior pack for the uh one place sleep so there we go how to add multiple resource and behavior packs to Your server so thank you very much to teddy terry for the question so if you have any more questions or you want to see something something different regarding minecraft bedrock servers let me know in the comments and thanks for watching and we’ll see you in the next one Foreign Video Information

In this follow-up video about adding resource and behavior packs to your Minecraft Bedrock server, I answer a question from Teddy Terry who asked on the last video “How do you add more than one pack?” Great question teddy, I will show you exactly how in this video.
