EPIC Minecraft Longplay: Insane Starter House Storage!

Hello everybody welcome in my name is Jay cabbe and welcome to my first official Long play if you don’t know me my name is j CA and I am a live streamer I have been playing Minecraft for roughly six months um I’m not great at it I I don’t I die a lot

So bear with me and this is the first time recording content off of stream so it might be a little patchy um it might be a little goofy but we’re just going to go ahead and give this a try and get better as we go okay so thank you for joining me on

This journey today we will be creating well today we’ll be editing our editing I don’t know today we’ll be fixing our home base so this is our original this is our original base from World spawn um I have played this for a total of 275 days and I have not fixed anything about

It um so yeah we’re going to get on that today we have a lot of materials we have a little bit of a cave area as you can see here we’re going to want to fix all that up I’ve put magma magma magma blocks down

There and just to kind of make a nice little area to hang out in in my Lagoon um this is everything right here this is the start of the cave base that we have done a little bit of work on nothing too crazy I want to change

Around all of this and I’m going to need your help because I am not a builder um I barely can survive let alone build so I’m going to need some help today for sure and on this series so leave some comments and and give me your ideas for different things that we

Can do let me know if I’m doing anything wrong and we’ll go from there I don’t have super Enchanted stuff I I mean I just have Diamond uh and this is really what I’ve got right now I also want to in this video organize these

Chests and make a little bit of a chest room because right now everything is uh kind of crazy so we’re going to get all this fixed up and start we’ll probably start off in the base though we’ll finish out this floor I need to redo my enchanting room

We’ll finish out this floor redo the enchanting room and then we’ll make a chest storage over back in this area we we’ll take all this out and make a chest storage back there I have my dogs that I need to move down downstairs so let’s go ahead and get that let’s go

Ahead and do that first um we have a little area we started making on stream we started making a dog Army so we will uh have to take all these dogs downstairs to be deployed we have some dogs around the the Island area that we’re at which is

Good just uh you know have have people join me people as in dogs join me and make me feel a little less lonely in the world but if this is your first time checking out any of my content content thank you so much also I hope that you’re able to kind of

Sit down and just relax while uh while the music plays and we start to build I I got this idea from watching other people do this and I’ve been working a lot from home so I’ve noticed that I enjoy watching it and listening while I’m working so I was like why not make

Some of my own content please don’t run away from me come on down here there’s so many dogs this is my Army we’ll have to make this room bigger as well we we’ll focus on that later though for now we need to go and gather

Up some materials to build I do have so this is what I’ve been using as the ceiling these polished deep slate slabs and then I have that for the floor more of that I’ll grab this and this just in case we need to make more which I know we

Will and just remember everybody I am uh fairly new I mean 6 months of playing Minecraft I feel like is not that long so bear with me I might not know everything about what I need to do do for certain things and what not to do so

Just bear with me guys and like I said in the comments you can leave comments below and just say hey uh you’re not doing this right or you should do this it’s a little bit easier so if you’ve notice on the roof here I’ve kept the coal and I’m thinking

About integrating some different things so for instance I believe I have here can’t find them so there in here this is why I need to do organization because this is horrible um can’t find them so but well we can we can take this out right kind

Of show you what I mean I’m thinking thinking about adding different ores to the ceiling blocks kind of like that and and leaving those uncovered and just putting stuff around them this is kind of like a uh I don’t know I I want this to feel like you’re inside of the cave and

You’re not like you’re one like we are one with a cave not necessarily that I tore the cave down and made my castle so that’s where I’m going with but in the meantime let’s go ahead and start on let’s finish up this floor area right here and we’re just kind of

Doing like a random pattern I’m not really I don’t really have an idea for what this will look like just kind of putting things down and hoping that it looks good you know so we will just continue doing that Boom also let me fill in this real quick and then I we’ll figure out the walls like I said I might just keep it like this though I think it kind of looks good I’m going to take it I think it’s going to look better with a little bit more room

I left that light there so I can see I’m a big believer in light I have to be able to see we’ll take that one one more ler go up one go up going to have to fix you know maybe before we finish the floor let’s just get the layout

Completely finished up this is my issue with Minecraft is I get distracted and I get stuck doing everything except for what I’m supposed to be doing so that is why on 275 days I am still fixing my starter home going to take this out as I don’t want it to go too

Far you out of the way little doggo let’s get this dog go downstairs real H actually it wants to be a guard dog up top right on top of our with the other dog and we’ll eventually get these dogs moving around my idea is to one day have this whole

Area built up and fixed out we’ll have a bridge going from here we have a bridge going from here to there to over there and just kind of and this will be a little farm area we can build something nice over there but for now this is is coming along

Nicely I’m going to make this little area right here this Lake Area into a lush cave type situation where everything will just come down and it’ll just be very beautiful when you walk in and then I like this little separation right here from the two entrances um this is going to be a

Little balcony I like the little the double like you can go to one side or you can go to the other I like that double area so keep that going let’s clear out the enchanting area is that like I think I need silk touch for this right I can’t

Just take these out so I’m silk touchies I’m not 100% sure if that’s what I needed or not but I’m going to use the pickaxe which has silk touch I know there are a lot of people who say you don’t necessarily need an enchanting area especially after for you

Know build villagers and you can trade but I’m I’m going to be honest with you I haven’t done that so we still enchant over here and um I enjoy my enchanting but we’re going to get rid of this floor you know what I really probably could have left that and

No we’re not going to we’re not going to talk about the past we’re just going to go ahead and proceed with the future will that stay floating if I it will okay I might not have to move it which would be nice we’ll see we’ll see how everything works

Out so this is going and then end all this El first first open up we’re going to go back like this look at all this coal just hiding in the walls for me I go back like that we’re going to make a big chest area because I would like

To all these coal these this is a huge coal ve we’ll fill this back in I’m getting confused go a little bit over here and then we’ll put this down there and we’ll do one and we’ll go back I don’t know maybe I should probably be counting at this point but I’m I’m just not however many that is probably about eight nine and we’ll go from

There actually I’m going to I hope no mobs on behind I can’t I can’t get distracted I’m put that back there and pretend like it wasn’t there pretend like we didn’t see that there’s that and then how far over did it go five oh there’s gravel I don’t know what that

Gravel that might be [Applause] the I will take this IR you can never have enough iron um I heard some bubbles a little scared about that we’re going to keep moving this is a problem with not counting now I don’t know exactly how far over I can

But we’re going to stop right there and hopefully that’s the spot it felt like it was the spot maybe I’ll get lucky and we’ll find out I’m sure that oh we are definitely not in the right spot well backtrack and we come over here eat my potato

Chips there it is okay we found it we are almost right and now we just made it a little bit bigger perfectly fine by me all right guys well I’m going to mine and then I will come back all cleared out enjoy the music I’ll be Back All right guys we’re back and we’ve cleared all of this out and I think that this is plenty enough room for our chest um I’m not sure how many we’re going to need but I’m just going to start chest then I will remove all this so we’re going to put this in here

This that and still and then this way we can actually stay organized while we do let’s go ahead before we get To tested in this let’s go ahead and start our slabs though first that way when we come in here this how you guarantee Randomness just kind of throw it together and we’re going to do a lot more of this deep SL I love the Deep slake

Color it looks so nice I like the way everything looks one of my favorite blocks in Minecraft what are your guys’s favorite what is something that you’re just like I want to build everything out of this up here Now That Is Random we’re going to need more though a lot more let’s go

Ahead this get that boom that should be enough to finish that room kind to fill in the different spots break it up a little bit more CU it’s feeling a little onesided Stone I don’t mind the stone but not my favorite and then this I whole idea of the

Separating or the mix matched floor just kind of uh I think it just kind of looks good almost done here look this is looking nice do I I think I might have to go up one I like to have some tall ceilings I when I play so uhoh that still was not

Enough can you believe that all 6 I hear some floating I think there are drowned underneath me so okay perfect look at that and then let’s go ahead and take out the roof we’re have to do this for the whole thing so I will be back

Again I will let The Music Play and I will take out the top layer of the ceiling so I’ll be back in a few Minutes He Okay guys we’re back again and it’s looking a lot better oh I’m get well take out these we’ll take these out Qui replace them with that and we will start build our chest all of these then we can come back to I can never remember if I can make chest without a crafting station I we make as many chests we possibly can but why not got the wood and I have a large room and I have a lot of stuff that we’re going to let me know if there is

A I was going to say let me know if there’s a better way to put these down but that it’s a little frustrating to you how do I set these up now where that will look good I’m not really sure maybe I’ll have to put them on I’ll have to do like

This not a big deal but just a little bit frustrating and I’m going to have down the depth to find whatever water sources down there that Ruckus okay now see actually that might look even better though we’ll pretend like it like it does there that’s cool oh Well oh my gosh we I mean there’s nothing more perfect than perfect amount of chest placements to go all the way around the room without counting guys that’s what we love about it okay so here is our chest room so far we’ll have to go and check I don’t

Remember what I need to make Signs are they signed or are they la gos I cannot remember but it is this right here oh it’s a item frame okay so that’s how we’ll I need leather and sticks and I probably would I think there’s a glow one I want the glow ones probably I

Don’t know how many ink saacks I have probably not many cuz who collects ink saacks there’s I have some leather which is nice and I have actually I know where I have a ton of leather and I’m going to go get some and for now you will I we’ll avoid the glow

Just we’ll just uh make a regular item frame It frame a lot of sticks and let’s go over here to the farm the sun is rising where it’s setting I I can’t tell it might be setting actually over to the farm say hello to our friends apologize for what happened just know that I don’t for to happen just has

To and this is our little farm though I mean our farm is very perfect put that there that up sure my grand get more sticks cuz I have a feeling we’re going to need lot more I’m sorry I didn’t You going to feed our friends all right friends um look Away I feel sad now but it was required now we can make 50 frames I have a ton of can uh cook up you know we love a good steak we love a good steak this is why I need a Bridge just go straight back a lot easier to get

Over also love the sound of rain in this game super nice everything is coming along so nicely here I love that how great is that that sound of the rain coming down um what I’m going to do I just decided wow listen to that what I’m going to do is I’m going

To cut a big hole right into the middle here and then at the very top I’m going to put glass and have like a sunroof SL rain area that I can just listen to the rain and and the sun can beam in and and be a nice source of light as

Well and and we might actually just carry that on throughout the whole thing like maybe right here as well and kind of go from there but let’s get these frames started up got five so far I make them with bamboo I think I have a ton of bamboo I did not

Know and that might be enough let’s find out 45 that’s perfect I still have so many sticks sorry throw you on the ground there hey oh man should I keep it all on the right side probably no I hope that this looks Okay and isn’t too much you know what I Mean don’t let at all oh we’re going to keep it though we’re going to keep it because I’d rather be organized then worry about how my chests look hey and now we can really just kind of fill these things up and we can start off with uh all this Stone

Get this stuff out of here way we can finish up our area that’s really why we’re doing right here with the stone boom and we’ll we’ll just keep all that like if I cobbled cuz I know that before I had my silk touch I’m going to have some Cobble it

All and I should probably just put the steps in he going to trying to touch the chest and that thing’s mve and then a bunch of the there’s a lot of like stone that I don’t use all this it’s all like nether stuff I can put that in it’s a separate

Area like I don’t really use and we can make an or we’ll make an ore in or like that that way put all the rain Rand Stone like I never use one day maybe I will but right now I just I do not use it I don’t want to find a diamond ore

And put it on there just cuz like why not that’s but for right now we’ll just take what uh copper on there keep it easy and then this will be a material as well I got to start put this and we’ll just keep all of our

We’ll kind of go on a line so like when we get more diamond iron will how do you guys normally uh organize your chest I don’t use that of I would like to start building with that a little bit more and I might I I’m going to make let’s go ahead

And take the sand some glass that way we can build our little Skylight got steaks in there cool some sand going I did not know oh yeah see this is some of the stuff I wanted to put in into the ceiling we after we finish our chest Room I’m going to go ahead and organize these chests real quick and while I do that just kind of sit back relax and I will be back in a few minutes after I have moved everything Over H H For All for Is Oh Oh A a I No all right guys we are getting to the end of finishing this room oh I forgot about the water um I thought I was going to get more done today but I do not think I will because it has taken me a lot longer than I expected can I

Put and I just want sure let me know I’m not going to fill these up too much so let me know in the comments if there’s a way like if there’s something I can do to space these out that’ make it look a lot better because I would

Love to be able to make them just look better but before we end number one I want to finish up what we have started we’re gonna turn this in I’m might be we’re gonna turn this I need to go check on my glass and then I want to turn I want to finish

This room completely before I end it just let me know like I said in the comments what you would like to see and what I’ve done good and what I can fix and just some of your ideas and we can we’ll do this again if you guys enjoy this we’ll

For what I call I guess like a crafting chest really sure if all this stuff is used for crafting or not but is now oh there’s some ink sacks I didn’t know I had remember earlier I was trying to figure out if I wanted glowing or not but I only have eight

So well you can never have too many Brewing stands um yeah I don’t know what a CH a trip wire hook does I’m not sure I mean I’m assuming is to set up some type of some type of uh what the I’m assuming it’s to set up some type of

Trap but I have never done that and I’m not really sure why you would need to do that put that there if these brown mushrooms are for that or if they’re for cooking but I’m putting them there because put that there and yeah good I have just a few more we’re going

To get rid of this as well that there for right now I just wanted to check in with you guys it’s like a little bit more to go well I will play the play some more music sit back again and we are almost done with this so I am

Done putting all these chests away all these items in the chest I’ll come back and we can together put out a hole and there I’ll be Back h That Oh Is H Is Wa Oh all right guys we have uh officially finished organizing all the chests that took a lot longer than I thought it would but I guess after 200 play accumulate a lot of stuff and half the stuff I don’t even know what to do with so oh here’s one more chest but that’s

Quick some of that stuff in there that out then we’ll go ahead and this away and then start cutting out the roof kind of seeing where This Dirt got to head up oh no well I thought we were finished but we still have is all the stuff I’ve been looking for okay got some I’m actually going to keep this in here I think um we will put those there There in there though and then I’ve never done this before but we do have somewhere chest Ender Chest I’ve put these Down of course we have a friend that decided to visit Us is care all right we’re just going to put this yeah all right we have officially this you guys have any ideas of how to make it just look a little bit better maybe like some shelving stuff I’d love to put land here so just let me know how I can do

That and how and then let’s go ahead and start let finish off by our Glass Project it just to be want this to be pretty big that three Over two oh it’s three is this we’ll just do like that looks good and perfect we’ll cut all this out straight up shouldn’t be oh yes should I do like a a gradual incline up see how that looks I can always take it out I’m not sure how to put these down I

Thought youed clim on guess you can’t can’t put them on slabs so you doing that use our Stone okay um I’m going to figure this out I put them oh I guess I’ll just have down and this is why it takes me anything all right we going to take out the

Dirt and if we like then then then the hole might be too small we’re not going to we’ll just keep a yes full SK and then we will do all let’s yeah let’s take all this all this dirt I’m not sure where these are going not a big

Deal we’re going to quickly take all this out before it become night time and we’ll fill it in with hour snow can’t ever have too much dirt all right I was hoping to get this done which means I should probably oh I need one ow two more

That think I like but let’s first go to sleep that way we don’t have to deal with any mobs coming and we can just continue our journey in the morning all good construction workers need some sleep all right let’s check and then if I have to I Williform this to open up to have as much light as possible I think I want this AIT let’s um let’s just try it and see what happens and if we decide and we want it bigger we can always bigger then if we like this I’ll end

Up figure out a way to make that look a little bit prettier up top well let’s let’s see how this looks breakfast and we’ll honestly probably do this to oh look at how bright it is now that looks awesome how bright it is see I think I’m going to take out

This and make it bigger yeah going to take this out as much as it was going to look cool I need bigger what the I don’t know how to go straight up pleas just go up I’m not even sure uh maybe you okay I say maybe yall can teach me how just

Straight up instead of um because that’s ridiculous I still want add Stone right here instead of the one up okay perfect then we’ll take this out way remove the dirt as here hopefully and it oh I don’t mind the dirt on the top level but yeah inside the well like it Stone and
