EPIC MINECRAFT PORTALS TUTORIAL! (PS3/PS4/Xbox/WiiU)

Watch through the end of the video to find out all the tips and tricks to make sure you do this right basically all you guys need to do is just you know figure out what portal you want to build in order to build your custom portal but

You’re going to firstly need to build another pool now in order to build another pool you are going to need some another racket obsidian and this can only really be done in creative because if you do want to do this in survival you can do in survival but it is going

To take a very very long time so the first part of this tutorial is just going to basically being a creative tutorial then the second part I’ll try to do it in the survival will show you guys if it works because I haven’t tried it in survival but I will

Try to do so so the first thing you need to do is to build your another pool now to build another pool and you want to make sure that you know this is the standard of a pool because if you do build you know the obscenely large ones

For example if you build one like this so let’s show you guys this is a pool that you don’t want to build because if you do build this one I’m not sure if it’s going to work and I’m not sure if it’s going to you know be as quick as

Building your standard portal so as you guys can see this portal here the method that I use to create custom of the portals you’re going to have to replace every single block and it’s going to take a very very long time but you know let’s leave that for the other portals

So in order to build a normal portal all you need to do is to get your obsidian and you need to build 1 2 3 or then use good up by 1 2 3 or 4 then 1 2 3 4 and then just go across to like so now you

Just fill it in with the flint and steel and there you have your normal board so now you just want to make sure you go for the portal first just to check that everything is working and once you’ve done that you can start to build your custom portal now

Whatever block you choose is fine currently all blocks do works but I haven’t tried it with any of you know the half blocks for example a slab I haven’t tried it with the door I haven’t tried it with any other blocks you know like heads and stuff like that so if you

Guys do try it with these you know make sure you guys tell me if it works so it’s going to be very very hard to do but what you need to do when you’re going through the portal the second time that you need to try and destroy any

Block to try and destroy any block that you have and I think you what you guys should do from the beginning is just you know if for example you wanted a red concrete block just make sure that these edge blocks are red concrete first so um because it’s just easier you know it

Will make sense guys just trust me Thetis so when you’re going through the portal you firstly want you know like go through it like this you want to practice make sure you go like this just practice going left to right because it’s very they all make sense in a

Second it shouldn’t make sure you practice going left to right and when you practice going left right going to want to hit one of these block so you’re going to make sure that you have you know everything lined up and then when you’re going left right you’re going to

Try to destroy that block quickly as you go through so I’m going to do it here and I might not do it first time but I’ll try my hardest to do it so you guys see we’re gonna go through the pool and then as you guys can see right there the

Block was broken but because I still went through the portal that means I’ve done it correctly so here we have as you guys can see there’s nothing there there’s no block there there’s nothing there but what you don’t want to do is you don’t want to instantly place a

Block down because if you do place a block down right now what will happen is the portal will go back to its normal state I’m going to show you what you shouldn’t do so don’t press a block there because as you guys can see it glitched out and you know the block got

Replaced but I’m going to show you guys what to do again so a quick recap we go through here we destroy the block we go to the pool we come back and then as you guys can see since there’s nothing there the second time we go through this pole

We’re then going to place the color of the block down so we’re going to go through place it down as you guys can see I placed it down and now we have that guy so as you guys can see there is that portal so we’ve done that so we

Need to do this again for each and every one of these blocks now if we do it again I’ll show you guys that this actually does work so we destroy that and then we come up back through the build it’s very very easy to do the only thing is that you know once

You’ve got this technique done it’s very very simple to do so once again guys are doing it too quickly just coughs other thing it’s very very easy to do and all you need to you know make sure is that you’ve got this down and every time

You’re about to you know place a block just make sure you line it up so that when you’re about to do it you know you do it smoothly so as you guys can see I’m just trying to line up my crosshairs so that when I go past I can place the

Pool what’s going to happen is if you make a mistake on the last block you are going to rip your hair up because it would have taken you so long to get where you got and you know it’s just it’s just very very struck straighting another tip I do wanna say

When creating this custom port was after you’ve gotten all run it done it what you need to make sure that you guys do as well is that when you’ve lived another portal when you’re coming out to replace the blocks make sure that you know you leave the nether portal fully

Because if you don’t need the leather portal you know entirely and you try to destroy the book again it will just reset as you guys can see I did this I’m just going to go in destroy as you guys can see and then I want to make sure I

Leave it all the animation comes off me and then I go back in and then I place it down quickly so as you guys can see it’s hard very very hard to time but it’s better for you to be late that early because if you’re early you have

Portal because as you guys see there I was still in the portal and if you don’t get out the portal and you’re trying to go sideways and left you’re not going to teleport it’s just going to have this animations on your screen like you guys

Can see it’s just going to have all this animation engineer in order to teleport anywhere but like you guys can see that the portal is pretty much nearly done all I need to do is go across the top go across the bottom and I want to say that

The top is by far the hardest thing you have to do in order to create this custom portal because when you’re going across the top you have to kind of in explain you have to like position yourself upwards then you need to go into third person making sure you know

You aren’t going to hit any the blocks because if you try to destroy it and then you just hit into the wall you’re going to have to restart so you have to you know make sure you’re in third person make sure you go past and then just make sure you hit the block

Like that then when you’re up here you have to you know make sure that you’re ready to you know place as you guys can see you guys can see I didn’t place it down just yet because I was just you know practicing then you’re gonna come
