Hey guys today I’m going to show off an easy redstone concept that’s got a lot of uses uses vary but I’ll but stick around and I’ll show a way to annoy your friends in whatever the next Minecraft world you end up playing on So today we’re going to talk about The Redstone clock it’s a mechanism that generates a continuous pulse which is a crucial component empowering a lot of different uh Contraptions in Minecraft uh so to make them you just you need four repeaters and four Redstone Dust just like the ones that I’ve already made in each Corner you make sure they’re all orientated same way place a redstone torch break it immediately and it Contin it has a pulse that continues around in a CLE Circle powering anything around it you can increase the length of it by pushing out how many ticks you want the repeater to hold the charge For so as you can see here the repeaters create a pulse which can be adjusted by changing the delay between them increasing the delay slows down the pulse while decreasing it speeds up the clock experiment with different configurations to find the timing that suits whatever you’re building so apart from repeater based Clocks there are various designs using comparators observers or Hoppers uh each has their own advantages and uses uh you can experiment with different mechanisms which will add versatility to your Redstone I personally enjoy uh piston and repeaters as well as observers observers have a face where anything that gets updated in Front of it will send a pulse to the back of it so putting two next to each other facing towards each other will cause a redstone signal to constantly happen this isn’t happening because of the Piston here this is happening because both of the Observer faces are pointed at each other as shown Here but this is another type of clock to get continuous pulses a comparator clock is something that will utilize the behavior of the comparator uh which is a redstone component that has two states in addition and subtraction mode uh to create this it needs to be in Subtraction mode it is so what it is doing is taking the main signal from the lever sending it through get subtracted which makes it constantly pulse because it’s being fed a constant uh power source now that I’ve shown you how to build that Redstone clock the possibilities are endless and mastering The clock is just the beginning now time for one of mine take a couple of doors hook them up to our basic repeater clock attach some doors with a bit of redstone dust and you’ve got yourself an effective noise machine to annoy your friends you can put it under their base Hide it in a wall do whatever if you found any of this information helpful drop a like and put a comment down there thanks for watching Video Information
