EPIC Minecraft SMP with Bare Roots – Watch Now!

Hello everybody i am fleeks and i am very excited to present to you today a new series and also a new aspect to my channel and okay this is kind of giving away some of the surprise but i am on a multiplayer server yes that is the case

Um this is the bare root server organized by anomaly many thanks to him for bringing us all together he has found ooh i’m stuck under lilypad a collection of high quality small youtubers such as myself and he’s invited us all to take part in this it is a friendly federation if you will

Of people who will produce uh content mostly minecraft but of course we’re free to do co-ops and continue doing other things and so uh i guess i will roll the miserable excuse for an introduction that we recorded earlier this is um the bayou server and these are the

Other members well most of them excluding two and they were busy doing things also time zones yes they are hard times i just realized i’m the only person here who doesn’t have the same minecraft name as username yeah way to be different this is cool darklord pineman is corvus oh really i

I’m not gonna worry about that it’s not really a big deal it’s just kind of a uh it’s kind of a cool little thing okay well i am down ravine and down the cave well that was fast yes you would with you or you just i do not i am kind of a

Little bit of trouble exploded it wasn’t me okay um yeah oh come on server wow yeah i have connection that is awful oh yeah so that was pretty miserable but uh if you’re wondering where i am now i think the place wait a second i’m i’m going the wrong way guys uh

The place where i was falling down the ravine is over there those are the planes spawn don’t blow up i’ve just gotten some stone tools together how many hits does it take and so i am setting off to find my place in this world and might as well take this tree because

I damaged it whoa oh snap ouch okay um oh there’s lava all right yes this is not the place i wish to be uh so in this episode we’re just gonna start getting settled there are a few people around i think zogue who is also a programmer and so

Might in the future do some techy stuff with him possibly we shall see but for now since i’m an introvert i will be on my own just running away from the spawn point and setting up my own base so i’ve already got the basic tools as you can

See in my hotbar and here is all kinds of pigs i’m going to need some of these for food because i already ate all the stuff i had brought with me so many mushrooms we might get some oh okay mushroom stew going on that would definitely be an adequate

Source of food even though it does take up quite a bit of inventory space kind of like stackable things more thank you awesome now swamps are nice but there’s so much water and it’s hard to build let’s see if we can avoid the archers avoid okay

I’m going to start oh the lag just a second uh yeah there’s there are so many archers over there so many archers also a huge amount of mushrooms this is just insane wow okay um this spider needs to get out of the way so i can collect the

Mushrooms on this little place hi are you friendly oh no you’re not you are not and i am down to one and a half hearts okay cease and yes i’m hunting monsters actually i’m defending myself against them but close enough give me all the mushrooms and i need the

Red ones too to complete my mushroom stew this archer needs to not be there let’s set up shop on this island cook up the oh wait i i forgot to get cold while i was down that ravine okay um yeah so i’m going to wait out the night and we will be back

When i find a cave or possibly die okay i am back i made some charcoal out of the logs i had the island we were on is right through there if you’re trying to get a sense of direction and i found a nice little cave

Oh i do not have torches because i do not have coal yet so i’ll grab this coal and then i’ll light all the things all right and a bang all right let there be light and there was light so on this island which is a dark oak forest

I have found quite a few kf systems well i mean i haven’t i’m not i don’t know if they’re systems but there are a lot of cave entrances on the surface which hopefully will turn into large systems that we can explore for thrill and profit and we’ll get moderately well

Established and then we’ll be ready to perhaps build a base of some sorts that looks like it’s just going to go back outside uh this looks like it’s just going to stop oh no it goes up all right not the place i want to be yeah let’s see where this goes whoa

Okay um yeah i saw one giant thing out of torches already i’m picking okay i’m just spraying wood all over my inventory and boom i should probably actually use up the charcoal first but yeah a little bit of iron that’s good this will get us off to a good start with protection

I think i’m going to go for armor first because i am very clumsy and not good at avoiding mobs and so i’m going to take a lot of hits and i’d like to mitigate the damage and this guy has gotten an item improvement table already i do not have such things because uh

This is considerably after the introduction was recorded uh and so i’m lagging behind everybody but that’s fine we are you know just a friendly competition this is not a big deal of course i would probably be making a big deal out of it if i was the first one to get such technology

But you know double standards i have them now i think the big cave system aha here it is going down ouch looks like somebody might have dug in here but not a lot of torches now this doesn’t look like it just goes up and there’s some iron though

Okay i will be back once i have found a real cave system okay i am now in a totally different place and people are surprised at new features uh-huh this is a pretty significant cave system i think yes maybe we’ll see um so let’s see if i can get down it without dying

I have cooked up the iron that we got i made myself a chest piece to protect my upper abdomen yeah oh there’s a spider hi okay uh yeah well he’s down there now and let’s see if i can cross oh there’s so much iron i want to be down but

Okay stop climbing do not oh no i just threw my sword oh well that was unfortunate um all right ah the q key now um i don’t want to try that jump because i will definitely miss the water and oh is it getting too dark for you sorry

Here is a torch that didn’t really help the advantage of open broadcasters that shows me exactly how things appear in the recording and i can just look at my other screen it’s it’s very good oh that’s a creeper oh i don’t have a sword anymore um yeah let’s get away let

Me ask you a question if oh well yeah he blew up oh i’ll take some flint i guess and there was nothing here i was expecting it to open into a to a giant arena that’s not the word atrium perhaps yes sure okay uh how am i going to get down

All right let’s just get on top of this iron and go right down so we can pick it up on the way going down there was not a lot of iron here oh but there’s some over there i want it i want it oh that’s a creeper too i keep

Forgetting i don’t have a sword anymore because i threw it on the ground well he can’t get to me i hope there’s a block before okay um yeah now i can survive that but i don’t really want to jump still oh is he finding a way he’s not finding way

Oh and i no longer have a pick all right i guess we’ll just be blocking down yes oops oh i hope there’s nothing terrible all right we’re safe uh that creeper is guarding my sword oh please don’t blow up on my sword i like it right let me ask you a

Question and again this is an interview so many questions will be asked all right very good i have my sword back i have my sword back now oh i have no pick though all right let me get my act together and my act is together i have an iron

Sword an iron pick full iron armor uh a bucket which i filled from water over there and a flint and steel there was just a whole bunch of iron in this little place so i’ve got it and using all the coal i harvested earlier smelted it up

So now we’re going down this way where hopefully okay no there’s nothing here nothing at all but there’s a little bit more iron might as well grab it all because you never know what i might need to make in the future all the iron here is coming in veins of

Eight which is very good because that’s uh how much one piece of coal smells it’s very efficient and i need to eat i also smelt it up considerable amount of food that i got from butchering some cows uh before i came down here so the only place left to go is down oh

Hi welcome okay this is this water is just going to get in the way of everything get closed up did i hit it i did aha and yes i already have water i do not have a bow yet so these arrows i’m getting aren’t all that useful but

I’m sure we will get such things within short order no yes um i’m hoping to find lava soon because i would like diamonds okay yes this is definitely going to lead somewhere interesting but first i’m out of torches i’m going to need to come up oh there’s a creeper coming hi

Okay oh so many of them oh okay that’s a bat sorry i’m sorry get out of here don’t blow up in my face i guess i might need to go up to the surface for some more wood i did not bring adequate quantities down oh here’s some lapis oh so many mobs

So many give me your lapis i will use it oh i just put out my torch use it for improving my items with the new 1.8 snapshot system wow this is huge this huge place no this place is huge okay i’m not going to explore it all on

Camera because that would take forever and i oh well another person just found diamonds i’ll congratulate him as soon as i dispose this creeper and wow the amount of iron here is just insane and there are flowers they are also celebrating his victory okay um no you do not get to exist

Oh there oh that’s an emerald that’s an emerald i want it i want it you will not defend your emerald i will have it oh i’m sorry bad i just executed you accidentally and this looks like the end of a system oh except for this guy do you defend

Anything no there is no no wars of any type i’m sorry oh the bats always freak me out and i start swinging and then i discover they’re harmless wasn’t there iron here oh here it was so yes i’m going to go back off camera and i will oh another emerald awesome

Okay more lapis but up ahead there i’m not entirely certain what that is it looks kind of squarey it might be a structure of oh no no no no no i’m gonna die ouch thanks creeper he actually possibly saved my life there uh let’s see if i cannot okay there oh okay all

Right everything is coming to attack me this is not what i want to be happening no no no i sorry sorry okay let’s just mine this lapis mine the lapis minding our own business and see what i did there i exchanged my bucket of water for a

Bucket of lava because i have so much iron it’s insane and you can use a lava bucket to smelt it instead of using up all your coal as soon as i regenerate some more hearts i think we’ll just pop out of here or just strategically come out

Nobody is here okay oh this guy has some cobblestone that he took from me okay no i mistook just normal stuff for something out of the ordinary but okay nothing to see here the amount of lava here is just out of this world i’m hoping it’ll turn up some diamonds yes maybe and

But if not we can always use the bucket of water trick to traverse whoa the lava oceans that guy is having some trouble you’re in the wall guy okay yes so much so much iron i’m going to put it in there and it’ll smelt uh for a while i’ll just drop this

Furnace down to clear my inventory of it and ouch oh he apparently is able to hurt me all right i now have enough for another bucket oh my cracking people’s already on the bar i’m going to need a bucket of water let’s see if i can just get around him yep

Oh another guy in here hi um yes could you guys just you know let me pass excuse me i need to come out here to grab this water thank you thank you all right great oh redstone okay uh whoa hey hey no no no no no no give it to me

I will take such water and we could use the bucket trick ow whoa man oh okay calm down um let’s uh food food food food food um yes let’s regenerate health blocking blocking whoa no no no no no that is not what i need to see um yeah i’m blocking myself

In see you later you washed in the lava in the item burning lava of minecraft are your garments burnt up are they charred as soot are you washed in the lava of minecraft and there they are and okay people are talking to me um i don’t know what they want um nope give

Me a lava back i mean water you know what i mean give me oh yeah there they’re trying to pass the night one moment okay and now we’re back and ready for these diamonds are you ready for this everybody and boom diamonds oh and there’s a lot of them too wow

So much okay that is eight diamonds that is enough for a diamond pickaxe and an item improvement table so i will have all of those things i’m going to make a diamond pick and i’m going to mine some of this obsidian and we will head back to the surface i think

Maybe look around for a base because getting diamonds was my objective object in this cave and i really do not want all these types of rocks uh but oh i forgot my iron back at the other place um yes all right well i have uh cooked up all the iron mined a bunch

Of obsidian and i think it is time for us to leave this cave i will see you up at the surface i should probably exhaust my iron pick first and when we’re up there we will construct an item improvement table and also possibly go to another but that

Will probably be in the next episode and we’re out came out right here there was a giant flood of water so i went up and stopped it this is our exit point um we might come down there i’m marking it just so we do and i’m also going to take

A screenshot of these coordinates um and so i’m going to try to find some reeds which are hopefully nearby and then we will construct our item improvement table and it will be amazing well i had to go a really long way to get these but here they are

I will take them and we will put down our crafting table boom and we’ll make paper out of where are they what’s happened where are they oh there must have fallen here because my inventory was full paper and a book and the obsidian and the diamonds makes us okay

I thought that was a creeper oh pig you freaked me out so much and the obsidian and the book makes us an item improvement table we are the second person on the server to acquire such technology and i think we are going to use it right here i’m going to place

Some improvements on my pickaxe oh um okay so let’s actually make a diamond sword first and boop because diamond swords are objectively superior i unbreak i like rather of sharpness yep and it is very sharp be careful it’s sharp all right what is this efficiency efficiency i’ll take the cheaper one

And my armor okay let’s throw out some stuff i don’t want such as this i can combine these stacks i do not want this um i should okay i don’t want that i don’t need this anymore okay what okay i don’t really want blast protection i would rather just have normal protection ah

Projectile protection come on i just want protection okay yes general protection thank you oh wow i’m breaking in protection that is great okay the feet protection that is fine by me protection i don’t really want projectile projectile hmm all right okay what will shovel give me efficiency

Okay i will put that on an iron shovel and i will throw out a stone shovel okay yes oh but it was supposed to be fine or it’ll probably give me multiple if i give it three so there we go efficiency and the braking very good now are you giving protection yes

What’s this projectile protection two that’s nice but i’ll just take the normal protection against everything and these are all protection ones so it doesn’t really matter which one i choose nice okay wow we are prepared guys my sword is sticking to the table but we are fully
