EPIC Minecraft SPIDER QUEEN MOD! Play as a Spider!

Hello peg your mind now why scaring on guys and girls my name is James or thanks eeeh and welcome back to another minecraft mod spotlight and today we are going to be taking a look at the absolutely fantastic spider Queen Maud CA this is very very cool and I must

Admit the first time I saw the title of this I was kind of thinking it would be sore one of those big boss style mods a little bit like the the Queen the creeper Queen you remember that huge creeper and stuff but man was I so wrong

Right so I logged in and the first thing I saw I was like wait a minute this is not my skin dun dun duh you are the Spider Queen very very cool so what this mod does is it kind of reverses the role of the player in Minecraft by placing

You in a role of a monster instead of a human so as the Spider Queen you’ll be able to see better in the dark climb up and swing from walls and ceilings catch monsters and humans and then use them to create new spiders that will protect you from danger so

Effectively what you do is you roam around the land as a hostile enemy and you have to build your own army of spiders fire caching different types of mobs and doing it that way so it’s really really cool very very unique and there’s also other bits to the mod which

Are you can gain reputation with other hostile mobs by rewarding them and then in return they will send you troop reinforcements to kind of help you and you may be thinking who are you warring against well initially your warring against let’s see there’s only around here these guys so yeah humans are

Hostile mobs now I’m actually in single-player and so this isn’t online but what this mod does is it randomly generates NPC humans and the names above them I believe are names from the people on the forum thread so I think the mod maker said if you wanted to be in the

Mud and just like say on the forums and it’ll probably add you to the list so that’s pretty cool Abbey as the kind of revolves the roles the roles are reversed so the humans are now the enemy and then they will come and attack you and it’s the only thing that will attack

You initially in this mod right so I think we should get started with the basics and the first thing you’re going to want to make is some way epps now you’re gonna need a lot of string in order to make these but string is kind of quite easy to find so you do

Find it around the place also enemies and stuff do drop string and you can actually still make yourself like swords and pickaxes and diamond whatever’s if you want to but it’s kind of more fun doing it the spidery way so yeah to make yourself webs what you’re going to need

Is just three pieces of string and that’ll give you a web also if you want to make the slightly better poison web you’re going to need just string and you’re going to need these items here called poison Barb’s now boys and barbs are made from puffer fish so you’re

Going to need to catch them puffer fish you just put them in a bench like that it will give you some poison Barb’s and then that will allow you to have the poison web but I kind of recommend just using the normal web store now cuz

They’re a little bit sort of easier to get and a little bit better to use and yeah you kind of have to go and hunt yourself down some mobs in order to gain yourself some spiders now you may notice a little bit of a difference here we’ve

Caught ourselves a few mobs so there’s a creeper we have an NPC villager we have a zombie we have a horse we have another zombie here and we have a Enderman now these two zombies look different because there’s actually two things that you can do once you have caught yourself a mob

So how do we catch ourselves a mob well let’s get ourselves Ronald hello sir yeah when you’re ready who you could get this through your hand you right click I love that and you’ll actually give yourself like this cocooned animal so once you’ve caught it like that it won’t

Move anywhere but it is still technically alive inside that web so there’s two things you can do one if you just left click punch it then it will actually drop like a cocooned item which you can then go and place somewhere else if you want to take all your captured

Victims and then put them somewhere else or you can kill them on the spot which will then give you resources that are used in order to create other things so we’re just going to click a few of these here here we go perfect that’s what I

Wanted so as you can see our right clicked and it’s actually given me these things called spider eggs now depending on what you kill it will give you different spiders that will hatch with different abilities so let’s just look for these string okay so we only

Actually got the eggs this time from the pig so you do need to catch quite a few of these in order to sort of get the different eggs and stuff will get a lot of eggs which will give you different spiders the best way for this to show you is actually with

These items here which are the cocoons now if you do left click punch them they will drop the cocooned item so you can move them but yet for example if we catch ourselves an Enderman it will produce an ender spider if we catch a blaze it will give ourselves an inferno

Spider a chicken is a normal one cow is a normal one a creeper is a boom spider a ghast is a mini gassed a cocoon horse is a spider Rider which sounds amazing cocoon human is a normal spider pig is normal sheep is normal skeleton is a

Slinger spider a villager is a pack spider a wolf is a nova spider and a zombie is a tank spider so depending on how many of these you kill all the eggs you get you have a chance to get all of these so once you’ve actually got the

Eggs what you do is you just right-click them down on the ground and they’ll take about about three or four minutes to hatch out and so we’ll just give those a little bit of time and we’ll do a few more items and hopefully those will hatch out pretty soon okay so

While still waiting for those to hatch let’s check out some more of the other items that you can make we have some pretty cool ones scary noise we have some pretty cool ones here so we’re gonna start oh where should we start from yeah this one so this is the webslinger

Now this swings from walls and ceilings this is kind of like your super spider-man style tool so if you jump it reels yourself in and give you sneak you can actually drop down from ledges and so this gives you like the really cool spider style aspect to it which is very

Awesome but as well as that with the normal web you can actually fire it up on walls like that and you can actually create yourself basically ladders which you can walk up so that’s another way of doing it but you can use the web thing it’s kind of like a web slinger type

Thing so that’s pretty cool now as well as that you also can get this item which is really really important because once your spiders have hatched if you want to kind of keep them in one area because they will follow you around and so you push this item in to the ground where

You place it on the ground and then all of your sort of spiders will sort of hang around a radius of that so if you don’t want them to follow you you can stick one of those one of our spies has hatched did you see it yeah a little

Sausage these will grow I’ll show you how to grow them in a second we’re still waiting on one man oh yeah this one is the flame web which is a special type of web for catching you actually need to get these from Inferno spiders so you right clicking and furnace by durand I

Believe it has a chance to drop the flame webs this one is the bug light and I’ll show you that in a second that’s very cool and this final one is the skin switcher now I believe this is the only item that you have to use created for because this will actually change

Your skin are both of them hatched a hello so these are my little spider Minh minions right now which is pretty cool but yeah let’s just do this quickly so if you want to change your appearance so if you don’t livi the creeper Queen you could want to be the creeper King you

Can do or you can change the appearance of the creeper Queen so this is skin number one I said creeper spider this is Spider Queen number two this is Spider Queen number three this is Spider Queen number floor and if you lose your boobs spider King so you can kind of choose

Which one you want really but we’re just going to go to Spider Queen for now so as I’ve kind of showing you there we’ve actually hatched ourselves some minions now everyone needs to kind of stay in an area we use this torch so we just place

That get out of the way Oh Gary place that down and now these sort of spiders will sort of scull around but they’ll stay in this general kind of area and which is very useful because if you’ve got a lot of minions then they’ll sort of follow you around now you may notice

This one’s a bit bigger and I actually summon this back using this torch because what you do is these are actually baby ones and you can grow these in level and power by battling with them so these will attack humans hostile humans and that kind of thing

And then all of the combat that they do they will grow in size and they’ll become more powerful and obviously there are different types of spiders so let’s just grab ourselves some spawn eggs here to make the life a bit easier as you can

See here we have oh god did you see that oh that is that I’ll get all the snow honestly oh my god ah this is a what are these they’re amazing I wish it was love snow come back here come on come up give up come buddies come on come on I

Command you as your queen alright screw you then but yeah this is like a little spider style army I think this came from the horses what what the horse is called yeah rider spiders so these are rider spiders and they’re so sweet wish you could see them better come back

Here there we go perfect haha that’s the rider spider this is the Emblaze spider which is a fire one this is an empty spider at level 1 level 3 that’s a pig spider at level 1 this is an Enderman spider which is very cool three it kind of looks like one of those

And you know those weird flies with the big legs or maybe a bit like a crab I don’t know a bee oh the more mobs that you capture the more spiders you’ll be able to get and breed to your army so and yeah I want to show you how to I

Want to show you the other system as well on the second but quickly let’s just do a few more of these items so you saw one of the items there called the bug light now the reason why this exists is because it’s better to kind of do

This mod during night time because more like other mobs and NPCs and stuff are spawning around so it’s better to kind of do it at night but what happens when it’s daytime well you actually make yourself this which is the spider bed so this is an

Item that you have to build you don’t like craft this but you actually have to surround a five by five with wooden logs and then using your web oh my god you see that hurting inferno stuff so you’re using your web which you can fire you

Actually fire it twice into each hole so for example as a really terrible place for example there we go we go one two and it will actually double it up into a full web and then once you’ve filled the area if you right-click it it will

Actually act as a bed and it will spawn yourself during night but you may notice that we have night vision because the bug lights you don’t have to have it equipped all you need to do is have it somewhere in your inventory and then that will give you permanent night

Vision which is really really useful it makes you see better but we are a spider after all so that’s pretty cool right now the next thing is how you interact with different mobs so if we come over here you’ll notice that these guys here are hostile Spider Queen so these are

Other Spider Queens now there’s also a different reputation style system here which is you interacting with other mobs so the best way to describe this is to kind of show you it like this you have these three items here called brains skulls and hearts now these are actually

Gained from killing NPC players now these items are also enable you to sort of befriend other races of hostile mobs for them to be your friends so they work with creepers with zombies and with skeletons where as a skeleton and I think I’ve maxed all of mine out but

What they do is effectively when you find a creeper if you want to befriend it for the be you have to give it hearts so if you right-click it will say your reputation with the creepers has increased a 5 so 5 is the maximum and that means that what

Will happen is you have gained favor with the creepers and periodically what they’ll do is they’ll be a message that will pop up which will say the creepers are pleased with you and they’ve sent you like a mob to protect you so or summon like your own personal creeper

Guardian type thing to help you so as well as that with zombies if you do the same with brains you’ll say your reputations increased it starts at 0 I believe in you can go up to 5 and then finally with the skeleton if you do skull then it will do exactly the same

Thing and they’ll the skeleton will go up to 5 the thing is with these creeper Queens right you start on I believe 0 and you can’t actually get it above 0 but the way you can go negative is if you kill normal spiders then your

Reputation will go to zero go 2-0 so it will go like – 1 – 2 – 3 – 4 – 5 and if you get 2 – 5 there’ll be a fallout war where these creeper Queens will start to attack you so as soon as they see you

They will summon all of their minions on you and they’ll keep killing you until your reputation with them is back down to zero and how that happens is basically they just keep killing you over and over and so it’s pretty tough so you’re the best thing to do is try

And avoid killing normal spiders and just use your spider minions to kill NPC villages and you know to keep farming and breed your huge army of amazing spiders I love these little ones are so sweet yeah ah amazing and so yeah let’s essentially have a little bit of a

Battle here and see what happens okay so I’ve got someone follow me come on my spiders let’s go we do it fight for me what okay so I got her under attack rugger attack got all my spiders yes so as you can see your spiders will start

Fighting for you ah yes we want oh we did have a few casualties there we lost a couple but as you can see they will like ambush people that come and try and attack you and it’s very very cool so so like big groups and stuff like this

Because they do tend to spawn in groups it’s gonna be much more difficult in order to sort of keep these guys off your back guard wonder what we can do here oh don’t remind me they spotted me I’m gonna I’m gonna die I’m gonna die I’m gonna

Die where are my spiders nope run away run away people dead no they’re here oh if I heal myself quick yes there we go come on fight me come fight with my spiders yes go on somewhere little Enderman spider oh my god you’re powerful yeah these Inferno spiders are

Absolutely beastly out okay but as you can see they do a really really great job at keeping you safe and the more you get the bigger the ward that you can have and the more fun you can have with this amazing amazing mod so yeah I think
