EPIC Minecraft Wetland Park MAKEOVER!!

Yo guys what is up welcome back to let’s landscape wetland park shift master here um what i did between the first and this parts uh pretty much i just went ahead and finished all the uh our paths so you guys watch me finish that one i went ahead and finished this one

It wasn’t too bad then i went ahead and finished this one as well added decks and everything to each one so you can see this nice pass system i have going on so in this series i will series in this part i will be walking you guys through

Uh planting this kind of pond it’s not really a pond only that parts pond but what i’m trying to do is get you guys to think of this entire uh like sunken area as a pond and not just this but don’t think of it as just a palm

Filled water think of it as a pond filled with plants so uh that would be fun so let’s go ahead and get started with the essentials pretty much so the first thing we’re going to do is this water channel and this water channel is going to connect to there and

Flow back in here it’s going to be completely vegetated with uh with wheat grass so damn i forgot i forgot what else okay i don’t need an egg get out of here sugar all right what am i doing okay all right so we’re gonna plow all the land

Is this me or is it like night time like in every video i make what is up with that why every time i want to record it ends up just being night i don’t understand so i don’t know also um if i haven’t mentioned this enough i’m trying super duper hard to

Just be all around more active on a server on on youtube mostly on youtube because i’m already pretty active on the server i’m really trying to be a lot more active on youtube just get more videos out my dream is to one day be able to at least

Upload one video a day even if it means i have to set aside one day during the week to up to like record a bunch of videos and just spread out the time of uploading because i would upload like two three times a day the thing is my internet sucks my

Computer sucks i can’t even render videos that fast let alone upload them so maybe when i get my new computer i’ll at least be able to render them faster but i won’t be able to upload them very fast i won’t be able to do that for

A while until like google fiber comes to columbus or something i don’t know but yeah so as you can see the wheatgrass already illustrates kind of like a water flow pattern which it should so just keep that in mind wheat means water when you’re landscaping so when you’re

You know you’re making water features or something put wheat next to it it’ll really get give the water whether it be a pond or a fountain or like a natural fountain or something it’ll really give it some emphasis which i’ve learned is very good to give a certain feature you’re pointing out

In your landscape emphasis stop going in there i’m pretty sure if i walk over this too much i just traveling all right no i can walk over this as much as i want huh cool i’ll walk this entire thing and not trample anything that’s cool all right so did that that looks cool

All right so i’m gonna just kind of spread it out here along this water edge i want to save it mostly for a sugar cane because i can’t actually put it on this bank because it’s raised up so probably going to do like pockets of wheatgrass like in here probably gonna

Do a pocket of wheatgrass in here and then a little bit around this deck so we’ll see how that goes i might do like i don’t know we’ll see how it goes i have an idea though this is one thing i really like about being a landscape architect and landscaping

No matter how much i keep going i always keep getting more and more ideas it’s like i just had an idea of trying to just make a pocket of wheat up here then i just got another idea of like just making holes everywhere and filling it with water so i can put

Sugar cane everywhere kind of it’s kind of swamp like if i do that so that’s actually kind of cool so um i’m gonna just make pockets or pockets wait i don’t want to do that hold on nope change my mind change my mind because all the blocks directly around

Holes where the water is going to go is actually going to be a sugar cane so i have to remember that it’s actually like right here i can do that like that i actually want to i would like to retain the grass that’s here too so yeah then i’ll probably just like

Yeah so like the grass that’s existing i’d like to keep that there we go here let me go ahead and try and plant this before it disappears on me like usual all right then let’s all meal that up i hope this is helpful for you guys

Because i know a lot of a lot of guys on a server and i’m pretty sure even more people who watch um have really hard time landscaping like just the the object of or not the object but just the like i don’t know thought of landscaping is i don’t know

Maybe intimidating i don’t know i just know the lots that i make in cities i make them so that you have like room to landscape like a front yard and backyard but people don’t take advantage of that and it always it always just like it’s weird because

I’m like man you have all this land here but yet you you fill the entire land of a house which is weird or you make like a giant pool or something i was just like what are you doing you have enough space for a yard a lawn got a flower and

Some planting beds but you don’t do that you just oh i’m just gonna make me a huge house it takes up the entire lot proportions are completely off i don’t know it’s me ranting i’m gonna put one right here no there’s crash right there okay nope can’t do that all right

Just kind of make it sporadic and natural looking it doesn’t have to really be a too much of a thought orders thought put into the location but not thought put into the actual shape and stuff of it so like as you can see here that’s pretty pretty scattered which is

The idea so let’s get a water bucket just fill oh crap oh well that was perfect yeah all right so all these holes up water and actually to even like hide the water you can put lily pads over uh over each like water hole that i made

Which i’ll showing it a little bit once i get done mowing milling it oh crap wow that one ended up getting really tall oh crap yeah i’m pretty excited about my new computer though um haven’t bought all the parts yet but i’m working on it it’s not really a money thing it’s just

A time thing and kind of a an intimidating thing because i mean building a computer is intimidating you can go wrong at any part or at any time i’m just kind of i don’t know i guess i’m just kind of holding back a little bit on buying everything because i’m just like

I saw money i really want to spend it i mean i have it but i mean i have to spend it you know stuff like that i don’t know i could really benefit from a new computer though so all right so we got that going on then i have full meal in

The rest really bone meal is just like well bone milling land is just like a space filler fill in any gaps you have left it should not be a solution which i’ve i’ve learned it bone meal just shouldn’t be a solution for landscape oh i have all

This extra land just fill it up with bone meal no bone meal should be a filler for what you’ve already done not a solution so just a little tidbit right there um i’m gonna put in a couple bushes all right so anywhere there’s glowstone it’s going to be a butch

See can i put one i’ll put one over here just make sure they’re connected make it look logical at least so just make it look absolutely random but make it look a little natural there we go i still i still don’t understand the whole gravel thing what does the gravel

Poster do a lot of people on the server will when they claim a lot want to build a house before they build a house they can change the entire lot to gravel i don’t understand that that’s not that is not earth friendly at all getting rid of all the grass to replace

With gravel i mean it looks cool i guess but i would much rather just see crass and landscaping than gravel and some flower plants or flower pots or something yeah that’s just me though also flower pots are awesome fire pots are super cool one of the best things they’ve added to

Minecraft since creative but i’m still mad they still have not added wool slabs and wool stairs what are they doing they want to add stuff like wither and stuff and they don’t want to add wool stairs like or like dyeable wood planks or something i would love to be able to like dye

Planks that would be great um and then add trees see some birches in here actually get a big tree in here too um when i’m landscaping i do not dress up my trees at all only thing i really do is just make them taller that’s it i don’t like add lights

To them or something honestly i think that’s kind of tacky when you like add extra stuff to trees trees or trees you know they look good because their trees don’t look good because you add lights dangling from them or something just keep it simple when it comes to the

Trees just plant them and keep it moving you don’t have to add lights or anything to them less is more when it comes to trees so even when planting them you don’t have to plant a crap ton of trees to make it look cool like look i’m i planted

Seven trees that’s enough to make an impact on the environment oh crap that’s enough to make an impact on the environment but it’s not too much to make it like crowded looking i guess you can say can you guys hear my phone vibrating my phone is vibrating it’s probably probably getting emails

More or less more unlikely like my phone vibrates more for me just getting like spam emails and it does me getting like actual notifications like text messages or something it’s kind of sad it’s kind of sad actually but whatever i have no social life i don’t care

Have an idea okay i have an idea fill it in all right so i’m going to take suggestions from you guys so i have pretty much a 900 budget i saved up 900 for my computer right all right so uh uh what’s it called michael center has a

Thing where if i buy a processor from them i’ll get 50 off a motherboard so processor motherboard is pretty much covered um my case i’m going to get a corsair 300r window i think that’s like 90 bucks so corsair is supposed to make pretty good cases so i’m going to do that um

Basically i’m just trying to figure out what graphics card should i get i have my eye on a geforce 660 ti gtx which are supposed to be pretty good um but i don’t know i wouldn’t mind spending a little more knowing it’s going to go a lot farther

But i don’t really want to spend more than like 350 on a graphics card um i’m thinking of i could get a 7970 from amd they’re supposed to be like really good like they they’re compared to like the 680s which are those are pretty expensive but

Um i don’t know i don’t know what i’m getting as far as graphics card i’m probably going to end up getting a 660 ti but if i can find a cheaper 7950 or like a equivalent 7970 i’ll probably go that route but uh gaming with physx is pretty cool and i can definitely

Um benefit from using cuda which is in the video graphics cards but all right so we just add some lily pads maybe another one here yes cool all right that’s cool man that looks really cool this actually looks really cool really nice lushen vegetated cool

Here let me bone me a little bit up here just kind of blend this better there that’s weird that looks what is what is this see this is one thing i really don’t understand about the extreme hills biome like it’s so weird you can have like floating stuff that might actually not

Be floating i might actually be attached to something yes but i’ve seen like floating like land masses in the extreme hills biome i do not understand the code at which something like this can spawn i don’t get it there’s an entire landmass that support it pretty much by one single gravel block

I don’t understand at all how this entire landmass is being supported by these couple of gravel blocks gravel isn’t even all that stair sturdy yet it’s supporting this entire thing i don’t understand it i it doesn’t make sense it does not make sense for those who watch south park
