Problem with having a chicken in your room is that it lays eggs everywhere and uh this chicken is called hector so this is hector the chicken yeah all right good morning eh yeah yeah so it’s been nice to have the company in the room you

Know we’ve gone from a cat to a chicken so let’s see if we get any any baby chicks from the eggs nope sorry i’ve just smashed all your uh carefully laid eggs i’m sure you’ll get me some more later yeah but yeah let’s um let’s go to fred’s

Challenge shack and see what today’s challenge is to get my reward fish uh so yeah if we if we just head out the door and and yeah and see what’s uh going on in here so uh yep good morning mr fred oh he’s looking out the window today

He’s looking usually looking at his emerald but today he’s out the window hello did i startle you all right so today we’ve got to find and collect some obsidian okay and in return we will get our reward fish okay fred right obsidian right well i have an idea of where it is

But first of all i just want to address something so i was trying to work out where are my snow golems going okay because you know i go and i go and put snow golems in in here and then every time i come back they’re gone okay and and i

Couldn’t work out what it is and people are they were escaping us about that but you know likely story they’re not masters i mean you could get out if you really wanted to but i mean you’d still see him about you you would have thought but i found out

Somebody somebody commented saying that snow golems are tackled the mobs and i realize so they’re out and about at night and then a few skeletons and spawn and a few zombies and stuff and those those those snow gums you know being the the brave valiant snow guns that they

Are we’ll start throwing snowballs at him and and try and take him out basically and in return there they’ll get taken out by the skeleton so that’s that’s where the problem lies uh so yeah that’s uh that’s why they’re all dying basically i realized i need to i need to

Sort of probably keep them in the houses i think that might be the best way to go about it right i know and i think if i go down to uh near where my slime farm is i’ll probably be able to find some obsidian uh down there if you’re gonna

Let me out thank you uh yeah that’s probably gonna be the the best place i could just like nick a bit off my nether part when he says find some i think he means find some natural not not something that you’ve placed so i think i think that

Might be what he’s what he’s going for isn’t it anyway we’ll jump down this hole if you’re scared of heights this isn’t the part for you there you go perfect and yeah we’ll have a look in here let’s see what’s have we got anything spawned

No no slimes in here at the moment okay well not to worry uh we’re not too bothered about that anyway let’s have a quick munch of the steak and look at some iron that has never yet been mined there’s probably stuff like that everywhere right so i think maybe if we

Head down here i mean these tunnels are just sort of lows and those are you know they’ve got a lead somewhere but it’s easy to get lost in them as well all right so i think if i jump up here okay there’s redstone there that looks

Promising do i go around here ah right this might go up higher this looks like the kind of place you want to visit there we go and we’ve found some obsidian perfect okay all we have to hope is it’s not above lava now and it’s not perfect okay well that’s all the

Obsidian that we need i’m gonna not gonna hang around and get more and because yeah we’ll be here all episode otherwise so let’s go back back out and and i think it’s somewhere out here all right here we go this looks promising and uh away we go okay

Is this is this the way we came in um i don’t think so we’ve we’ve come out of another tunnel i think which way did we go yeah we went in that way we came out the other one okay well not to worry we know we know where we

Are and that’s the uh the main thing i suppose have we got anything else spawned yet no the only thing that you’d really expect to spawn are slimes really because it’s a slime farm that’s why it’s lit up so other things don’t spawn but obviously as you can see it doesn’t

Always work perfectly and sometimes you just get nothing spawning and you have to you have to be patient with these things i always i always think yeah we’ll go and give this to fred get our reward fish and then uh we’ll be off out of here i think that’s going to be

The best the best way to go about it i will be on with the today’s build in fact yeah which is uh which is going to be a uh well you know it’s good but it’s going to be today we’re going to be building a ballistic squid’s house and

Because yeah we i mean we’ve built stampy’s house i once went around all this by the way and then fell back down the hall had to go back around all over again that’s a bit of night but yeah we’ve built squid’s house we’ve built stampy’s house we’ve built dan tdm’s

House and next we’re going to build squid’s house okay uh you know add it to the the collection and it’s a it’s a unique kind of a house because it doesn’t like have proper proper walls almost but it does in this at the same time now i’ve got your

Senses you know tingling out now you know i’ve got you on the edge of your seat what what’s it going to be right here you go freddie is your up your obsidian there you go and i will take my reward fish nice doing business with you have a

Lovely day all right so we just need to go and pick up a dog next and first enjoy my breakfast ah you cannot beat a reward fish can you uh yes okay we’re going to do that then so let’s have a little uh let’s see which

Dog do we take today i think we’ll go downstairs and i want this dog which dog is it let’s take this i’m gonna guess it’s snowy and it was snowing i know me dogs from behind i didn’t expect to get that one right okay uh so let’s uh it’s fitting that

You’re cold snowy and you’re in you’re living in the snowy areas wasn’t it snow but yeah um so it’s gonna yeah it’s gonna kind of be in the same sort of style but at the same time yeah a completely unique kind of a house which i i quite like i don’t think we’ll

Finish it in this episode i think we’ll get the majority of it done though and then the next episode we’ll get the uh the other half of it done uh so let’s have a little see so we want to go to the extreme hills uh mine

And uh let’s uh let’s grab a minecart and be on our merry way uh see later it’s snowy following us i hope she is otherwise it says she’s gonna be left behind and i’m gonna be doing it without a dog this this episode but i think she’ll probably

Be on her way uh so let’s uh let’s carry on around i do i do like this uh this this trip especially this part because this part’s just almost no it’s not this part you go up and then it’s after this part that’s my favorite

Part so you go up here and then once you get to the top this is my favorite part it’s just nice and straight you know you can you can have a look around and see and see all the the bad mobs and stuff and there’s nothing on the track at the

Moment if you go at night though you usually find you’ll get a creeper or two on the track so you’ve got to be careful i didn’t light it up a little bit more really i think that’s uh that’s something to do at one point and here we

Are youtube central and so we’ll pull in there we go so what i have done is i’ve gone and extended this uh this pathway here this like big red carpet kind of thing uh all the way up uh over here and look at this ready straight up and he yep passed up uh

Connected up to the uh the pokeball house which we built not so long ago and look at that hey it’s still looking good isn’t it all working out nice i do like my pokemon oh snowy you’re right on cute now you know we’re going in there we’re

We’re going to be building up here today okay right so yeah squid’s house is of course gonna go right next to stampy’s house because you know they’re they’re they’re they’re a team out there you know they’re always together so they should have houses right next to each other i think

So uh first things first i’m going to need to get myself uh a shovel and do a bit of mining so uh if we mine out this uh mine are all four across uh like this uh so i need to just count i thought if we

Just do this in an account and then we’d have to count the rest but listen so we’ve done uh one two three so we need to do uh four five six seven eight nine ten eleven twelve thirteen fourteen fifteen sixteen sixteen sixteen sixteen not too far too

Fast no no no just get out of the way thank you all right let me just let me fix this there we go um i think it should oh no it should be in line can i just not count one two one two three four five six seven eight

Nine ten eleven twelve thirteen fourteen fifteen six okay i just can’t count apparently i’m gonna sit you down here snow because i do not want you to fall down cause i can just kind of see it’s the kind of thing you’re gonna do isn’t it so yeah

This is gonna be a um a sandstone pathway with like uh stone slabs at the sides of it and so we go ahead and uh start with these uh these stone slabs across here because that’s just gonna make the uh putting the sandstone down a little bit easier isn’t it

So i’ve just got to be uh very careful in fact yeah it’s probably safe if i just crouch so that i can’t fall in there because if you can you can see what’s down there kind of you know zombies and creepers and everything a

Lot the last thing we want is to be down there with them isn’t it so i’m going to go slow and steady about this i think i think that’s going to work out best isn’t it uh so yeah after placing down all these uh these slabs uh we’re going

To get on with the uh the sandstone so yeah we’ll just uh place that all the way across here uh like so and i think the best thing to do is to go to bed after that isn’t it so let’s say let’s get all of this all the way

Along so this is the pathway up to squid house and i can’t even run i need i need a bit of steak so who’s house should we sleeping i think we’ll go in we’ll go in the old reliable stampers as well you can stay outside and guard the pathway snowy make sure nobody

Sabotages anything like that it’s probably going to be best isn’t it so yeah let’s uh let’s head to bear no there’s monsters nearby where are the monsters it must be on the ground and the monster’s problem isn’t it oops i didn’t mean to do that

Are we sure we can’t go to sleep nope definitely can’t go to sleep okay right we’ll try uh we’ll try dantdm’s house instead then okay uh so let’s uh let’s go over and head uh to uh to his house come on mr dantdm please please be uh

Anti-monstrous for me i mean i’ll try dantdm’s room and this is yet oh no still can’t sleep oh great i think i might have my own bed in fact so i could i could just use that couldn’t i uh oh now there are definitely monsters nearby yeah i can i

Can tell that for sure yeah there is a bed in here so if i go and pitch pitch me my bed to bed to place see if i can do it let’s try here there we go i can sleep in broad daylight i’m not safe in a room of course but when

I’m out in broad daylight of course i’m gonna be here perfectly safe right let’s uh let’s get on with the day then uh so we’ve got a few us getting about that spider staring off snow but look she’s she’s stayed put she’s stood a guard and

Uh she’s being fine right well get ready he missed me he didn’t even notice me and i i completely missed him and this vatican stays he’s not doing any arm is he so we’ll we’ll leave him be so yeah the next thing we’re going to do

Is build a bit of a yeah a trench all the way around right we’ve got to be careful about this right so i’m going to get out the dirt and put it well really i want to put the uh the sandstone around let me have a think about this hollom

So we’ve got this here and then um i’m going to need yeah if i if i just do um sandstone round here uh yeah because i think i think ultimately i want all of this to be sandstone around there but we’ll we’ll not worry too much about that yet

Uh so yeah i’m gonna go because this is gonna be um a 16 16 wide so it should be like i think eight out each time let me just have a little bit of a count so uh one two three four five six seven eight so i think it should go up

To here yeah that that makes sense and then i think it’s it’s gonna be about 10 this way something like that so i need to just count that as well so one two three four five six seven eight nine okay so we just want to do one more

And then build this all the way uh no i dig it out all the way along here and then meet it up with the um the the bit of the others oh no wait not at the other side i’m counting this side up properly so one two three four five six

Seven eight okay so it wants to come along here but it’s not to worry because actually ultimately the whole lot is gonna be yeah it’s gonna be dug out anyway in fact so i just dig it all out now yeah i think i think that might just be worth

Doing anyway and then what’s gonna happen is yeah we’re gonna be putting sand down uh in its place okay so we might as well yeah get it all dug out but be careful be careful there are a few holes lurking about here that i’ve got to watch out for

I don’t want to fall down any of them so let’s just dig out the whole thing so much easier with this this powerful shovel as well and it does make life uh ten times easier doesn’t it so yeah let’s uh let’s get down all of

This sand so uh how much we got we only got 45 okay i wonder if we’ve got any any other sand let’s have a little bit of a look in this chest over here might have a little bit of extra sand as well yeah i have right well i won’t probably

Do all the sand in this episode just sort of uh do this little perimeter here so if i go ahead and uh fill out this dirt just that yeah the perimeter is going to go down and then i can put down the um uh the water that’s going to be yeah

Because this is going to be like water flowing down as the walls if that makes sense uh you’ll you’ll get the idea i suppose uh so i would kind of like yeah sandstone around the edge but it’s not too weird like whatever we don’t get

Done in this episode we can get done in the next one which is always the positive isn’t it so we should have yeah we’ve got enough sand to do that so that’s that’s the main thing i suppose and now what i want to do if we keep that and we get out

Some blue stained glass and if i actually build up uh here uh three four and then put the blue stained glass there so i’m kind of gonna have to try and build a bit of a uh a perimeter around this now i think that’s that’s how it’s gonna gonna have

To work so if i bring this all the way around now there is a point like here i think is where squid’s head is going to be so uh let me have a little workout so i’m going to put um some sand down just here and then on this sand are

Going to be the uh the two doors so let’s say let’s put the doors down just so that that’s out the way there we go and then um just above these doors so yeah right above these doors this is gonna get confusing fast but i think i need to put some

Uh well let’s bring this across first so this is going to go like that and then if i get some blue all out uh i never see so that’s going to go one two three four there we go perfect uh five six seven eight and then this is going to carry on

Uh all the way around uh the corner i hate i hate placing the glass panes on glass pane so that’s always where it gets a little bit a little bit tricky so it should be uh at this block here if i’m not mistaken or did we go a block

Too far we might have gone a block too far there that might that might be a spanner yeah we did okay well not to worry uh we’ll just mine that away there we go so this yeah it’s going to go all the way around the perimeter because

This is what the water is going to be placed inside if that if that makes sense so i make a nice but let’s try and not go past it this time and not gone quite far enough yet let’s have a little see if we connect that up there and i think if i

Place that there we go perfect okay so uh we’ll carry on uh going all the way around again and yeah once this perimeter is done uh we’ve got like an inside one to do as well and then we should be completely done so it’s still a little bit further

To go with this so let’s keep going look at that you can go fast when you want to when under the pressure so i’ll put that there and yeah just uh it should connect up nicely now if oh no if i don’t do stuff like that anyway

Let’s keep it slow and steady i think that’s probably going to be safe there we go perfect okay so i’ll mine out this uh this bit of dirt here and uh next i’m going to uh so this is going to sort of go underneath like this as well

Like that that’s that’s where i was trying to i just couldn’t quite visualize until i sort of had it all all in place really if that makes sense so if i go ahead and was to just put a bit of blue wool there and then that just

Gives me uh a hold on if it’s blue well yeah so this gives me a little bit of a guide as to how this is going to now come around i think yeah okay so let me get a little bit more blue stained glass and uh just

Bring this so this is going to be a little bit of a delicate operation this but we just got to basically make it so it doesn’t uh connect up so oh that did connect up so that’s one too many okay we’re probably going to be losing a bit

Of blue stained glass but i think uh we should have enough anyway hopefully uh it would be annoying if we run out actually i think i’ve got another stack uh sitting sitting there back at home in my inventory so that’s all right so you don’t think it’s going to reach and then

Suddenly it just goes way further than you you realize it was going to doesn’t it so let’s yeah let’s bring this right the way around and then next uh we’ve got to get the the the water in and then i suppose we’ll do squid’s head next as well

That’s also an important thing so that was too many i kind of thought it would be as well uh but yeah at least now uh we just we’re not gonna have to worry about anything like that it’ll just connect up nicely perfect okay uh so we

Can get rid of this blue wool as well and i think yeah next things to do do all squids head okay and then we’ll get the water in and then the main the main bulk of it will be uh will be sorted in fact yeah because i’ve actually put in

Uh some blue stained glass if i let me try and use the silk touch pickaxe because i feel i feel bad breaking it when i could keep it you know it’s like it’s a little bit of a waste you know for future you know you want to try and

Keep these things in there with you so let’s pick up all of all this blue stained glass uh blue stained panes actually and not glass so that’s one layer so this actually needs to be eight layers across so that’s three four five six and i can’t quite get the six out there

Uh six seven eight i think i think i’ve done that right i hope i have yeah it looks it looks about right doesn’t it uh so let’s let’s just fill all of this in now and yeah the next uh we’ve got to get up

There and get on with the the rest of it because obviously we’ve got all the signs of his uh his head to do so let me uh let me run out here i suppose if i just uh build up with this that’s gonna be the best way isn’t it uh

So let’s let’s do uh so his front bit uh we’ll just uh should we do the front first yep front is a little bit of a tricky one but still definitely doable uh so we’re gonna need the red and the white wall so uh first of all uh obviously we’ve got

The blue here and we’re gonna have another bit of blue and then uh a red and then there’s gonna be another red here and uh his two is two teeth so this is you know he has this big gaping open mouth doesn’t he does uh the squid so

This is what we’re uh we’re currently doing and then this is just going to be a layer of uh red right the way across and then above up one with the blue and then a white and then that’s going to be red all the way up except for this end here uh so

It’s kind of a symmetrical layer is that one and then we’re gonna have another layer of just red all the way across so there we go and then a little blue on the end and then again a white so kind of repeat of the the other layer we just

Did uh white’s on either side and then the blue at the edge and then yeah we just go up uh like this and um finish off the the little bit at the top so there’s a couple of teeth there you know he’s got all sorts of nashes about

The place of squid doesn’t it and then we’re just gonna bring this all the way along uh the top for a finish so we should if all has gone to plan i built squid’s mouth we’ll we’ll only be able to see when we do the other side properly though won’t we

So if i go ahead now and i’m gonna need the white and black will actually at some point so we’ll keep them we’ll keep them handy for now and let’s uh let’s get these in so this is going to go up uh two like this there

We go i just need to make sure in fact if we do this top layer here because i need to yeah i need to make sure that i get the eyes in the right place and uh i don’t wanna i don’t wanna miss me uh my opportunity

So uh if i go ahead and connect up this like that and then if i can just blend back in nope i can’t i’ll just i’ll just build my way back up so yeah there’s gonna be another layer of it like this all the way across and

Then yeah that layer there and then he’s yeah his eyes are actually going to be uh in here so there we go that’s his that’s his eyes i don’t know if i’ve got his pupil in the exact right place i want it but i’m sure it’ll do for now won’t it i mean

It’s kind of like got the uh the cross side look hasn’t it uh maybe i should uh just adjust it ever so slightly uh and put it up up there i think i think that might be better uh so let’s let’s go ahead and get rid of this bit

What i mean really to get a full flavor for it we’ll have to see it from the outside won’t we but uh we can at least get a bit of a basic idea so and get all this done now we don’t have to worry about banging our head or

Anything and there’s no eyes on the back of his head you know some people might have eyes like like mums and stuff but uh squids do not have eyes on the back of their head that’s not going to be an issue so we’ll get all of that all that filled

In and yeah and then just get the the top done and the final layer of the eyes i might just do the top now actually really quickly that might be that might be the easiest easiest thing to do so we’ll do that and then we’ll get the also get the walls done i

Suppose because that needs to happen doesn’t it and then yeah we’ll be we’ll be finished uh with that i think with what we’ll be doing this episode anyway uh so let’s fill in all of this and uh there we go mine out you and uh yeah get

It all done and dusted uh oh i’m on to the next stack okay so uh yeah just gotta fill in these two and then uh the other the other side with the eye is again just going to be symmetrical so i can just do the exact same thing right

I’ve got to try and not miss here ready here we go and made it wasn’t sure if i would or not so yeah we’re going to bring that all the way along there i’ll probably do it and then realize i did the eye in completely the wrong place or something like that

You know all my hard work and i realized i’ve just done it completely wrong i think what i’m going to do as well is actually put some torture in here because i don’t want any mobs to be spawned in his brain you know what i mean it wouldn’t be nice for him would

It have a brain full of zombies and stuff that would that would not be a nice thing to uh for him to have to deal with when it was the squid and you wouldn’t ever want to visit his house and just see uh uh zombies hey

I’ll just be able to only hear zombies in fact so if i can reach that and that perfect okay so that is that bit done now someone to get that black wall back every piece of black wool is precious uh so yeah let’s have a little bit of a munch oh

He’s getting dark as well my bed is there i’m gonna go for it okay uh snow it hello snowy have a steak and you can you can come with me there we go all right let’s go to the bed quickly and then yeah we just got to get a bit of

The uh the water bit done which is probably going to be another another difficult thing but at least we can go to sleep that’s the main thing you can get you can see it looks it looks good you can see squid from there oh i’m getting attacked by a zombie oh and now

I’ve been set on fire but it will be it will be it won’t last it’ll never last it’ll be gone back time it gets to it right so let’s um yeah mine out all that and i’m also going to need to do a bit of an inside layer here i

Think yeah just to make this work out okay so let’s grab some of the blue stained glass there we go uh just to keep the uh the water in so if i’ve done everything correct and you know it’s not that’s not ever guaranteed this should

Work out okay so what i need to do as well is make a bit of a um a bowl so i can make an infinite water source so let’s let’s do that uh so put them there i’ve got a really random uh dirt block there let’s get rid of that

It’s annoying me uh so put that there put that there and then yeah we’ll just uh we’ll just keep filling up the old water so yeah now what we’ve got to do is do all this all the way around okay so this is where it could prove to be a little bit

Tricky but you can kind of see how it is working out there we go this is how the walls are going to be a little bit a little bit creative i always say that’s what we’re always going for so that’s that one that’s that one uh if we go

Ahead and place that look you’re not gonna drown are you snowy i don’t trust you where have you gone where are you where have you gone did you teleport oh your tailbone over there good right you know i’m gonna sit you down i don’t trust that you won’t drown or something stupid

It’s a the kind of thing you do just drown in it all right so i’ll put that there and that there there we go and so i mean it’s a little bit of a a tedious task this isn’t it you know filling up all the water but it’s got to be done

Isn’t it so i put another one there and then finally one right in the corner there we go and yeah so it’s all the way around but it’s it’s it’s a kind of a a different sort of wall i would say that is the word i would go for

A different sort of wall so i will do that and then we’ll put that there as well and uh yeah it would be easy if i had any a close an infinite water source really wouldn’t it i mean it was close to the start but oh we’ve got stampy’s

House well we could just nick some from there can’t we so where do i need to put some there and i think um i can’t quite tell but i think i need one there as well maybe i don’t know i might just wasted a bit there it’s really hard to see unless unless

You’re from the top well what’s stopping us going to the top no it’d be really annoying wouldn’t it yeah never mind don’t don’t don’t get ideas like that uh put that there and put that there it’s not that hard to tell is it where you need to go

And then we’ll refill maybe i should have brought a few more buckets that might have been a better option wouldn’t it and then i wouldn’t have to uh worry so much about this uh but yeah we’re almost there now and once it’s done it is done and i’ll

Have a nice a nice looking house won’t it uh so we’ll put that there and that there and uh yeah and i mean i need to do i still a lot to do but that’s that can all be done next episode can’t you know that’s that’s probably the best way

To uh to go about it so we’ll put that in there and that in there there we go i mean i mean yeah the inside’s going to be largely doing you know the decorational things and all the nice uh inside stuff which is all important you

Know makes a house a home kind of a thing as we’ll put you in there and then you in there nicely done and then we’ve only really got one one more wall to do which is one of the shorter ones as well which is handy isn’t it uh so let’s

Let’s just continue uh filling this in so i need to put that like that and that like that i could do with it a closer infinite water source really couldn’t are these lighting for no water sources down here no okay never mind it was worth a try wasn’t it uh so we’ll

Get that and that i might even i might even place another one just down here just just to make things a little bit easier so if i put some water there and some water there and then this this is infinite now isn’t it yeah perfect yeah so let’s let’s go so that goes

There and then that goes there and then i need to make sure i get the right block though get the wrong one in it it’ll all go to part one so that like that and like that there we go it’s it’s going it’s going along now i’m getting more and more efficient as

We’ve run out of uh ones to place but it’s better late than never isn’t it with your efficiency and so oh what did i do there oh accidentally place the wrong block down okay accidentally put the blue stained glass down instead of the the water that was a bit of a mistake

That we don’t want to make again isn’t it uh so we’ll put that in the corner there and that right there there we go almost there now is this still an infinite water source as well perfect it is uh so that goes there and then yeah these are

The ones where it could kind of go wrong but i think it might be going right which is makes a change doesn’t it uh so that goes like that and uh i think doors don’t get washed away uh we’re about to find out nope doors don’t get washed

Away that is confirmed and let’s see let’s grab what we can there i don’t know if i’ve quite kept infinite water sauce as we’ll put put that there put that there and then we’ll fill up the rest uh just from here i think so there we go this is mr eye ballistic

Squids uh lovely house which you know i think he’ll be he’ll be quite pleased with it won’t he you know after all the uh the work that’s gone into it as well um you know i think it’s i think it’s right up his uh history so i think i filled them all

In didn’t i yeah perfect absolutely perfect uh is it just me does it look a bit no it doesn’t look different so i think it would also be a good idea uh just to fill in a bit of sand as well i just have that out of the way for uh

For next episode i know we are like way out of time but i just i just want to get it done you know just out the way you know so just for my own peace of mind uh just have a little bit of extra just have a bit of extra

Standing just so it doesn’t look like a big a big pit at the moment like it does you know it just you know it just doesn’t look as nice as it could do and it should do and it will do so let’s see i fill in all of this sand uh

All the way around nicely like that there we go and you can also see a bit of underneath the slabs which need to sort out as well i think don’t i maybe just put some extra slabs in but that’s not all worry uh for this episode
