EPIC Mob Spawner! 😱 | ChosenArchitect’s CRAZY Adventure

Hey guys welcome back this is jozin are taking today we are gonna be building the ultimate overworld mob farm so I hope you guys are ready welcome back today we are gonna be focusing on getting ourself a mob farm up that is going to put all of our other mob farms

To shame I know sorry zombie mob farm you done your job you got a early experience it was really nice but I’m afraid we’re gonna have to move on where it’s hard ways eventually we have to figure out something better to do with this building because it is a very very nice

Building anyways we are gonna be building an overworld mob farm now there’s a couple of different things you have to do in order to get this thing to work I’ve built several of them before in the past or in live streams or in things like that it doesn’t take too

Much to actually get up and running I’m gonna go over the basics today and I’m also gonna decorate the thing we’re gonna make it look pretty decent as we build it and the first thing we’re gonna have to do is we’re have to come up with

Some sort of idea or plan I think I might use this area here we’re going to figure out some sort of way to get ourself a concrete generator it’s not too difficult to set this up but it will take a little bit of patience so concrete is something that is very

Useful I don’t even know if it’s in this list but we are gonna need some gravel sand and a belief I think it’s just gravel sand and clay if I remember correctly we’re also need a lot of cobblestone that’s another thing for today let’s see is it clay a long time

Since I’ve made concrete I know it’s definitely gravel and sand in a dyed color yes it’s a die as well okay so I need to find myself a rose that would kind of help a little bit because I’m gonna need white for most of the stuff

So we have some phone I am gonna need some rose bushes if we have rose bushes that would be awesome if not I’m sure we can find some out in the wilder they’re usually around but rose bushes are definitely going to be the thing on which we are gonna be able

To get ourselves some red dye and plenty of it we do have this flower over here we have a sunflower so that’s gonna get us yellow and if you guys didn’t know my favorite color is orange so we’re gonna combine those together as you can see we

Get tons of yellow from that now we just need to find a rose that’s how you get multiple dies is and you know it has to be a tall flower in order for this to work so I’m gonna do some exploring see what I can’t come up with maybe we can

Find some that’s off the distance over here aha imperfect right here are the flowers I’m looking for we only need one I’ll be I’ll be nice today we also have some of these blue flowers that over here but I don’t think these are gonna be as important if we do however see other

Taller plants that would be great as well but I think that’s about it for right now technically we’re not that far away right see we’re not too far away but the reason we’re gonna be building this mom farm today is we’re gonna need rockets normally you could build just a plain

Creeper spawner but I think the resources such as bone mill and other materials like that are also gonna be well needed so I will actually need those things as well and later on we could combine boughs and do all kinds of cool stuff because if you don’t remember

I’m gonna start working on completing some more of these advances we do have a lot of these advancements completed already but there are several others in these lists and some hidden ones that we don’t actually know about that I would love to complete as well so we’re gonna

Be taking that on it’s gonna implant this rose bush oh yeah and we’re gonna hit it with some bone mill look at all that we get all of these rose bushes getting us tons of red dye that we can combine with our yellow dye and get orange dye awesome and then

Bone meal of course can be turn into white dye in which I will be wanting a bunch of that as well so here we go with yellow which I have yellow stored in here somewhere there we go a bunch of orange dye and hopefully that’ll be good for right now

Because I think yeah it’s eight to one dye so you can get a lot in here with this now I only want a few stacks of orange and also I’m probably do three stacks apiece for right now just to see this will sort of be our striping white

Isn’t gonna be the main color used see I’m gonna go ahead and get some of the things made and then we’re to work on how we’re gonna actually convert this into its solid form so to set this little area up I’ve kind of carved out

This sort of area that I can stand I could probably put a slab there and that would make it a little bit easier for me to stand but what I kind of want is I want to water streams that is going to push to the central block and then right

Here I’m gonna place some obsidian obsidian is pretty hard to break so when we set here and we’re continuously picking with our axe we don’t accidentally break anything now I should be able to place water here and water here and now when I place any block it’s

Going to end up landing in this spot it should flow right into the center it might actually end up in these side spots it all depends but what we should be able to do is throw this inside of our offhand and we’re just kind of gonna hold down with our right we’re gonna

Hold down our key get in our spot and then I should just be able to hold both mouse buttons down and we now have a way of simply breaking both of these blocks now there is something that I did discover recently which may not exactly work too well with this as because once

We are off hand kind of runs out you can actually hit f3 and Tate or reload your textures while holding these buttons down and after that has reloaded your textures it will still be holding these two buttons down as I have tested a little bit you see we lost two of those

And I’m assuming that two of them disappeared into thin air apparently because I don’t know how we lost two of these oh they went they landed behind us somehow so yeah this actually works really well and you can actually you know cover it up even more if you really want to you

Can change this to be whatever blocks you want if you want it to be kind of matching match everything else you can kind of cover cover it up yeah this actually works really well it’s a very simple design and should get the job done because really all we’re doing in

Here is just standing and waiting for this to process it does take a little bit of time but it is well worth it the payoff is great because man these blocks are way worth the time so I’m gonna continue to go ahead and let this let this do its thing

And three cats then we’re gonna build ourselves a mob farm in the sky so here we are at the top of our base and we need to take this pretty high um so at the top of these trees should do us mighty fine so I’m gonna do is build a

Little section there’s gonna take us up top now from this point I think we’re pretty much in the clear so what I’m gonna go ahead and do is I’m gonna put two stacks exactly from this point and we’re gonna go up until we run out that

Is gonna put us 128 blocks in the air which is actually the exact amount that we’re gonna need now as I’m looking over here it just makes me want to redo this we’ll be doing that very soon believe me we are going to need a ton of iron later

On and this the new farm setup actually works really well this is what happens when you go from version to version some of your farms break and that was specifically one that broke so I’m gonna take this all the way up this farm should actually never break though there

Should be a pretty well functioning farm that should last us all the way till we’re done with this world and honestly these are farms that you could set up really really early on I’m talking before you even have your villager set up before you even have your first house just go mining

Gather a bunch of cobblestone all you need is wood cobblestone and some water and some iron buckets and you’re golden you’re pretty much good to go a light trade does help a little bit but you could always use a water stream to go up and down if you wanted to an Electra

Just kind of helps you get up here and get it on a platform alright so we are pretty much where we need to be we can kind of f3 this and you can see we are 231 blocks from kind of the top height and I believe 256 is our build height so

I am gonna take this down just a little bit I think that will be fine um as most of this is just the tree tops I don’t recommend building in the jungle as these tree tops I don’t I don’t know if they’re necessarily spawning spaces but they could lead to some potential

Problems but yeah we should be perfectly fine kind of right about here so let’s go ahead and kind of get a platform situated this is going to be basically our tunnel right here so it’s gonna be a little 2×2 area and that’s where our mobs are gonna drop down of course we

Need to build an area real note so like so and this is gonna kind of be the tunnel that we built now of course these blocks are gonna be replaced later on but I’m just gonna i’m kind of building a platform around this and we of course have better building materials so right

Here is our column that means that this section needs to be our our tube or whatever you want to call it that goes up in the air and right here we’ll have hoppers that are kind of routing the items out and I tend to like the the

Hoppers to face this direction and go into a chest that would technically be sort of right here so here is our little killing chamber basically now I do have some blocks here in my red choker that I kind of want to take out and it’s actually gonna start draining

Isn’t it start draining our items out of that there we go let’s place that here um so I’ll actually want to use white I believe for this you go ahead and put that back in here I want to use white for the column that’s going up in the

Mixture I want to kind of mix this up also with our stone brick I kind of show you how I kind of want to do that but that should work for now I think that went home of our hoppers okay so this section right here is actually gonna be

Glass we’re gonna worry about that here in a little bit cuz I don’t I didn’t actually bring any glass with me you know what that reminds me let’s go get some glass and luckily for us we have analyte dress so it makes that really really quick you do kind of like a spin

And land you can always land very something later so yeah we’re gonna use glass blocks for this and of course getting up here is just gonna require some precision acrobatics just like that perfect so yeah this is gonna be kind of a glassy section is actually going to go

Up one more before we even decide to put glass here but I’m gonna go ahead and get the blast placed I do like to see my mobs so this actually helps out a lot and of course these pieces will be broken this is just getting us off the

Platform here perfect I want to take this up to just like so and this will kind of start our journey here and I think I’m gonna just kind of do this sort of pattern we’re gonna do white on the column on the sides this going up

And now let’s keep this in mind but we do need to know how high we’re going up so right here we have two blocks and then one more block so it’s three or five we need to go twenty two blocks up in the air and that’s where we’re gonna

Start building your platform so we need to make sure this is at least twenty two blocks up and you don’t really want to go over that that’s kind of the mobs it like one health when they land down here so I’m gonna go ahead and finish this up until we get to

That point now for the rest of this once we get up here we are now 22 blocks up from our base platform or at least our platform where hoppers are at we need to sort of extend this off I’m gonna extend this eight blocks so we’re gonna go from this block which is

One two three four five six seven eight be careful you don’t want to go any further than this this is how many you’re gonna place on each side you’re gonna want to do this for each side so one two three four five six seven eight

And also if it gets dark you want to play some torches down because mobs will spawn on this if you get too far away just like so see I’m gonna go ahead and fill this in until we get to the next step and I’ll fill you guys in so now

That we’re at this stage I went ahead and place these side blocks because we are going to outline everything that we’ve done now or actually I guess we don’t have to fully outline it let’s go ahead and break this off what we’re gonna do is we’re gonna raise this up

And then outline it that’s kind of why I put those there kind of saves on materials but we do need to outline this whole thing and technically you don’t even need these side corners but I’m gonna leave them just for looks and we’re gonna technically bring this up

Twice so we have this level and we need to go up one more as this is gonna be our main floor but unfortunately mobs they don’t want to jump down into these floors if it’s just one high and there’s water down there they tend to not want

To do that so to kind of utilize our space as we’re going to be doing a dual layer you want to make sure that they do have some room to sort of fall down here so we need to take this up one more and that’ll be pretty good but we got to get

This thing going all the way around first and I think it’s gonna look pretty good with the pattern that we kind of have going on here I think so of course we need to make sure that torch is placed every now and then I should feel safer

Than I am considering I do have an Electra and if we do die we can easily get her stuff back but man it’s still on edge so this stage this is where I can kind of get a little bit creative um we do need to extend these platforms a

Little bit more I don’t know if inside my red case here or not if I have I do have more stone break okay so what I’m gonna do is I’m gonna actually take this stone brick liner here and I need to line the entire side or the outside section because it’s

Gonna kind of go like this it’s gonna actually be our spawning platform this is gonna be the corner of our spawning platform and I need to line that up here and then on the inside I’m gonna kind of decorate it just on the bottom the middle sections you won’t see so there’s

No need to sort of decorate those but I’m gonna sort of decorate these with our different colors I think this is going to be the best part do that in I’m so having this outline just when we look up we just don’t see this nasty mess of

A mob spawner so it’s kind of good to always kind of make your bills look a little bit better of course it’s gonna be super high up in the sky so we won’t see much look at that we should have a torch it in there there’s already party

Party zombies spawning just goes to show you how well these spawners actually function just given that you follow that rule and you make sure you’re about 128 blocks above your actual ground level and you’re following these steps where you have a pillar going up and all all

Should be well you should get mob spawning should be not a problem at all the rest is just up to you making sure you design it and kind of make it look as functional as possible so here’s what I went with with the design and of course from the bottom it’s going to

Look a lot different but we kind of needed at this point blocks spiders from spawning or having the potential to spawn now I need to keep in mind this right here is our outside border and I actually might have to make or grab some more gravel and actually make some more

Of this concrete cuz we are running kind of low the walls I might actually two different colors but these are actually gonna be our main part of the walls now I went ahead and made some slabs our slabs are gonna have to kind of go in a very particular manner so we

Should be able to sipper I separate these by two and place them down of course you can use other materials you don’t have to specifically use these materials even hopefully I get this set up correctly if I remember it it goes kind of like this and this pattern specifically right here will prevent

Spiders from spawning you do not want spider spawning in this mom farm it is not spider friendly sorry sorry spiders or scooters depending on what you want to call them bs these are not spider friendly we’re also gonna need to do another layer right above that is

Exactly the same design I’m not gonna actually design that next layer because you won’t see it it’ll be completely encapsulated in darkness and there’ll be no need for any kind of fanciness going on but yeah this right here is how you lay it out now after we get this done I

Am going to go ahead and get our water placed in I think it’s just gonna make it a little bit easier later on um so to get our water placed in I’m actually just gonna go ahead and make a little water channel here let’s get our water placed in that was

Not meant to go here needs to be one bigger there we go like that and now we have all her water and what we got to do with this is place it in the corners just like this so when the moms fall in they get pushed right

To this Center it’s exactly what we want to see perfect and of course its waters gonna be here it’s gonna prevent moms responding on it so we should have to worry about that but I do have to go all the way around it might be better if I

Take both my buckets that’d be probably the best and we’ll finish this up over here and we’ll do the same to the other side so next step is going to be trapdoors and we are going to need lots of them so I’m gonna go ahead and I just

I guess I’ll just use just about all of them yeah might as well use all wood because this whole area is gonna be lined with trapdoors I’m gonna go ahead and pull out the rest of my stuff I can go and let this shulker box oh it

Actually laid it right there I was gonna say I can let it go down it’s gonna be caught in the hoppers anyways so we’ll want to worry about that the trapdoors need to be placed like this and now what this is gonna do is when these are closed mobs still think that they’re

Open and if you play some directly across from one another just like I’m doing right here mobs don’t really understand that they can’t walk over them they think that this is what it’s like they can just walk right over them but of course if it’s open they just

Fall right in so that’s how this whole system works and when we do our our lair that is gonna be two blocks above this one we’re gonna do this exact same design where we are going to have trapdoors that line the entire sides that way mobs think they can fall in and

That’s pretty much how our whole mob farms gonna work so I’m gonna go ahead and get this bottom layer done I’m gonna work on the next layer and then we’re gonna cap this thing off and from there it’s pretty much smooth sailing we’re gonna be ready to go we’re gonna get

Mobbed drops for days and a little bit of experience here and there and uh yeah we’ll be able to fly like nobody’s business so almost everything is ready to go I wouldn’t cap this often as you can see it is two blocks here and then we have a half slab

Or a slab as most people would call it and all we got to do now is remove the torches close down the flaps that I was using to move along just like this make sure to break all the torches just like that and I should be able to actually reach

Down here and potentially open a flap or place a block that works as well I prefer to do this there we go and we also have to break all of the torches down here we take our other crafting table I had to make another one we’ll jump across I mean pretty much this

Thing is ready to go as soon as we turn this on we need to probably break our way out that’s probably the best way to get out of here I don’t know I might actually just dig a hole huh I don’t know jumping down we might be able to

Save herself with our Elektra it’s kind of risky actually to jump down here even with our lighter and does look like there’s some mobs down here so what I’m probably going to do is I might actually just build up to the top and we’re just gonna walk the roof I think that’s

Probably gonna be the best best and safest option for us that way I can also break the blocks that I’m leaving behind because we don’t need those be able to break through the roof yeah just like that it’s almost smooth sailing literally smooth sailing we should be able to jump

Off and kind of take a look at this beauty I mean this thing should be pretty beautiful so let’s turn around look at that now we do have mobs that are spawning here so what I might be able to do is if I get far enough away

They should despawn 128 blocks away from them they should be they should be spawn on us if we get there quick enough we shouldn’t have to fight off any mobs as we should get right in that range and bam we can play some torches down now so

We don’t have to worry about them now we will all automatically get mob spawning what we want to do is we want to make sure to camp this bottom section off so they don’t actually see us and we can actually remove these bottom blocks here because we don’t need those either

I do recommend putting carpet or some kind of trap door or something like that on your top section there but as you can see mobs are already spawning I mean it’s literally that fast it the rest of this build is you should just revolve around us sort of building a platform

And that’s exactly what I am going to work on doing it’s just sort of building platform I might even go spiracle you know because this right here is just for us to collect our mob drops the center part I’m actually gonna clear that out and it’s going to be replaced with

Another block and then we can start looking at you know core someplace my chest here we start looking at one exactly this thing drops and how well it works so here I’ve given myself a nice little platform to land on when I plan on flying now this thing is absolutely

Beautiful and I just went back over here so all the mobs of despond I went ahead and placed some blue carpet down you will want to have some kind of carpet or trapdoor there because experience actually goes inside the hoppers and sort of rests inside them and it makes

It really hard for you to pull that out so what are we gonna do with this thing well my plan of course I want to light and use this because we can actually place torches on this I’m gonna light this up we’re gonna be using this to get

Bone meal or bones and we’re also going to use it mostly for all the luscious gunpowder this stuff is going to give us so having a looting sword is probably going to be our best bet so let’s open up our box and see if we have our looting sword and

Of course we do so our looting sword is going to be very nice for this perfect and now these guys you can pretty much punch with your fists to kill them to be honest and you can actually Crouch now underneath this block space so you have like a one and a

Half block space you fit right underneath it and yeah you can pretty much just punch these guys today but if you have this sword you just kill them all in one fell swoop you get close enough these guys aren’t going to bother you they’re not even gonna know you’re

There just don’t go all the way up in here even though I don’t even think that they’ll see you even if you’re standing here they can’t hit you though so just kind of stand sort of in the middle be cautious but yeah you’re gonna see that this is going to start collecting all

Our stuff including gunpowder and you guys know what you can do with gunpowder make rockets so our fireworks are going to be what you would call lit very soon alright you can ignore that I even said that but anyways guys I hope you enjoyed today’s episode if you did you guys know
