EPIC Mountain Base Build in Minecraft Ep #8 – SHOCKING Gameplay!!

Hey guys how’s it going this is Xeno Corps here and welcome back to Let’s Play Minecraft like the good old days uh this is episode 8 it has been quite a great journey so far I’m super super happy with how things have turned out and today we are

Finally I think I just decided to jump off the cliff we’re finally going to be branching out and hollowing out a good portion of this mountain so we can use it and turn it into our base so the first thing I really want to do is get

Some blocks going here let’s grab some wood and we’re going to be making some slabs and we’re going to be making some blocks and stairs and all sorts of good stuff here so let’s go ahead and get a bridge going I kind of wanted it to

Droop a little bit this way so we’ll start with solid wood blocks here to show that it’s kind of starting to go and then what we’ll do is we will do this um and then we’ll go down the next block which I’m not entirely sure how we’re going to do

H let me get some scaffolding stuff here really quick um and so yeah we’ll use these slabs here to make them look like full blocks when they’re actually not and then we will come back out here with solid blocks again and then I think we’ll make it

Three long and then all we have to do is continue upward so good shaped Bridge good size and I think what we’ll do is hollow out this section here I think I’m going to put wood here instead of Dirt okay so now we can start kind of hollowing this out honestly I think at this point we’re going to need some enchants because I’ve got a lot to dig out and I don’t want to have to keep making Diamond Pickaxes so let’s focus on making

Enchanting and we can make that room in our new section here let’s go ahead and clear this out oh we broke out to the surface we’ll use that for light so we can see and this is where the enchanting table is going to go so now we’ve got a little space to do

This room for okay so the next thing we need to do is actually make the CRA the enchanting table and we’ve got some sugar cane so let’s make some paper we’ll need a piece of leather to make a book and we will simply make some paper

And a book and now we just need two diamonds and and some obsidian which we have in here 1 2 3 4 all righty let’s make that enchanting table boing boing blam awesome wait okay just making sure we didn’t make one already cuz it didn’t give me the

Advancement I think you only get the advancement after you actually do oh oh he shot me in the butt try me now bud okay yeah we need to light that up that’s going to be a problem let’s grab some torches all right so now it’s lit up

Okay so now that we’ve got the enchanting table we can actually place it in our enchanting room and it’s going to go right dead center here nice we’re not getting a level three enchant there guess you have to have a bookshelf to get a level three

Enchant okay so now here comes the fun part we’re going to need sugar cane lots and lots of sugar cane and we’re going to need lots and lots of leather so we need to make ourselves a cow grinder and I’m trying to remember how that goes we definitely need a chest for a

Hopper and then a double chest here so let’s make a hopper okay that’s for the double chest and then we just need stairs slabs and a bucket of water so we can do that really quick all Righty I don’t know where I want to put this pen this cow thing but I think we’re just going to put it kind of close to this for right now so we’re going to do double chest and then we’re going to do Hopper and then we

Need to put slabs all the way around so I think it’s like this stair stair slab Put slabs on all sides and this will hold the water and then we need fences I think so that should be There um am I doing this right cuz I know the bucket of water goes here we’re going to bob up and down here then another stair needs to go here right and then we need to place fence fence fence right well I can fit through these so that means the cows

Can so maybe we’ll just put solid blocks like that and then we’re going to need a piston to be able to push that fence on top of the cows to keep them in there so should be able to just grab that bucket of water keep them from swimming out

Okay let me get my hay and some food because I’m starving so now we need to get the cows out of this pen up here into our cow crushing system and then we’re going to need a piston to push that fence over so let me grab a

Piston uh we’ve got all the blocks to do it except we need Redstone okay so do redstone iron ingot and then the pad what happened there what is going on um there we go piston and now I need some kind of lever to activate it that’s dirt there we

Go okay just about there folks just about there so now I need to grab the dirt we’re going to place it like this and this going to attach to that then we’re going to have a lever like that to be able to push that into place whenever it’s time perfect okay

So let’s start leading out the cows one by one uh we’ll just do wheat on my off bar off hand and we’ll have them follow us up here oh God now is not the time zombie oh bug her off probably should have not done this at nighttime

Okay anyway cows go up here you go in the pit go into the cow ouch dang it they jumped off okay come on up into the cow pit I need you in the pit oh Jesus this is hard with a bunch of cows all right okay so now I can try to maneuver

These bad boys in there oh dang it this is harder than it looks oh my God many no don’t feed them not yet anyway I need to be able to attract them all right I need you heers to get in the hole get in the heer hole get in the hole come

On get there okay there’s one we’ve got one um I need to be able to push another one in there straight in you get straight in in you get okay there’s two all right next we’ll try to lure them this way and now we’ll push them in

This hole come on you’re so close just go in just just go in the hole in the hole you go away so we can fit in the hole you need to fall into the cow pit I’m going to push this guy off adios all right right now get in the hole get in

The pit in the pit go in the hole why aren’t you falling in the hole do the thing do the thing fall into the pit why aren’t you in there hold on okay so is this what oh it’s so hard to maneuver cows okay you get off oh he took damage there

We go we got one come on up bud come on up we got one more spot just for you okay all right oh you’re so close just yeah there we go okay now we can turn off the hit boxes that was a pain okay so now we’ll just flip the

Switch to put the thing on top of them the fence and all we have to do is add the water on the bottom so we’ll do that really quick there we go so now they’re swimming up but they can’t go anywhere so now we just breed

Them and now we have to reach mob uh entity cramming limit and then uh yeah so we just got to constantly breed these guys up and once we get a certain amount of cows in this one block they’ll start killing each other by suff ating into one

Another and then we’ll start getting all their drops in this chest so that’s a very simple cow Crusher mechanism thingy mobber yeah and the staircas is so you can access them to breed them yeah that’s about it okay cool so that’s done now we just got to really

Wait on their cool down to go away so while that’s happening we can start planting our sugar cane and I think we need to maybe make a farm over here for it we might make another one of those little batches here and I used all of my oak

Wood so I’ll have to just deal with the fact that I don’t have oak wood for now and I think I’ll make this one like a block so like this height so 1 2 3 like This okay let going go grab more of my dirt and I really need to fix this path here I really want a good path and soon I’m going to make a automatic uh sheep shearing farm with all the wool colors in it that’s my plan

For these guys let me go ahead and breed two of them so we get a little sheep baby I got a little sheep baby there we go okay so now we can continue working on this so how big did we make this one two three oh yeah that’s right because the

The size of the farm has to be so that’s 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 2 3 4 5 6 78 nine so this is about as big as is it’s going to get right here okay and we’ll fill in this space now this one’s going to be laid

Out differently than the other Farms because sugar cane in order to grow it has to be right by a water source so we’ll have to do that in order to grow our sugar cane so I’m going to need to grab an infinite water source let me just go

Down here to the Little Pond and grab ourselves some water and I’ll make a temporary infinite water source up here by doing this because we’ll need to have these anyway so okay so the plan is to do every other block so we can’t utilize Corner blocks

But so my pattern I want to do is this and then one there one there and then so the goal would be something like this where we would have water like this and then have sugar cane like that so it fills in the entire space like

This so that’s kind of the pattern I’m going for we need to take some of the if a block update happens these are going to break just so everybody knows what’s going to happen there okay grab some water and we’ll fill those holes back in so that way they don’t pop off

Okay so the unfortunate thing is we’re going to be missing a good amount of blocks by doing this but it’s basically going to be this diagonal pattern across the entire length of the farm actually with Oak logs going to go on the outside we could do more than

This and now that I’m thinking about it we don’t have to do it this frequently either because the only need a single water block to be on it we could do this and then a more efficient use of space would be something like H like maybe so we could have a water block

Here that way you could do that and then we could put a water block here and then we need to put another water Block in order for this to get one we need a water block next to it somewhere um there’s gaps here there’s a way to make this

Fit okay let’s let’s figure this out let’s let’s figure this out what if instead I did right here cuz that more closely matches what I’m trying to do yeah that’s better okay so I think we got the pattern figured out here as I think so it’s down like that so down two

Over one like this right and then yeah okay I’m figuring it out I think I’ve got it plan okay that’s all our sugar cane it’s a really weird setup but now we just got a full sugar cane field instead of like rows that use up a lot more space with less

Efficiency at least I think I don’t know is this more efficient I I have no clue anyway I just wasted an entire Minecraft day trying to figure that out so that’s embarrassing but I will harvest all this beautiful wheat look at all this stuff there’s so much wheat I just hope

A creeper doesn’t come up behind me okay we’re good hoping to catch one lacking I think we’re going to need a composter after a while look at how much wheat we have uh let’s get my bread on my hot bar I am hungry and let’s go breed up the

Cows again let’s get some more mooo in the mooin uh we don’t like the fact that you’re here so we’re going to get rid of you goodbye who’s hungry is that everybody is that everybody I think I got everybody I can all right so we’re getting we’re slowly

Getting more cows in here slowly getting more cows nice cool cool cool and I guess we could leave the wheat like in here cuz we got to breed them up in order to get more cow stuff I don’t think that’s the most efficient way of doing things though but

It is definitely a way of doing things also that is not my design um if I find the design on YouTube I will link it in the description to give credit because I cannot remember off the top of my head after all that all that sugar cane all that leather six

Bookshelves it’s a start that is for sure go ahead and plug up that hole let’s just do a wall of bookshelves there and the torch will probably be in the way here so let’s just do this for now let’s see get up to level 12 that’s efficiency two that’ll help some good

Help us a good bit nice starting to get an enchanting table set up here I’m going to raise the ceiling up a little bit make it feel like we’re not going to bump our head on stuff okay there we go so yeah we’re we’re getting there we are getting there ladies and

Gentlemen the Sun is setting and I’ve got enough leather to make two more books I just need more sugar cane but that’s fine all right guys so it’s kind of loud over here these guys are just splishing around but uh they’re all grown up and

I’ve got them all bred up so now this thing is working we’ve got some stuff flowing in so that’s good um I’ve also let the sugar cane grow in a good amount so we’re going to harvest this and get all the sugar cane yeah good stuff tons of sugar

Canane from this Farm So and I’ve also been harvesting the regular Farms over there and it’s very efficient a lot of you guys were saying if you plant them in alternating rows they’ll grow faster but I don’t see anything wrong with this I I really wouldn’t know I guess but

Yeah this is uh this seems to be growing a lot better so but yeah so we got a decent amount 48 sugar cane from that and it wasn’t even fully grown um oh and another thing is um I cut our mountain in half so that’s something let me go show

You this and we’ll see what I’ve been up to I’ve broken almost two iron pickaxes got a ton of cobblestone and some dirt here and basically at the top level here where the bridge was I just cleared out the entire Mountain you can see we don’t

Have a lot of mountain to work with here it’s not a very thick boy it’s just long so we’ve got plenty of space here to make some kind of maybe like viewing platform cuz now I can see everything like look at this the reason reason why

I can see so far like I’ve said in the past is because I have the mod called invidium and basically if you don’t know what that means is you can choose a render distance to keep loaded so even though my actual render distance is only

24 chunks it saves 64 to memory so that way I can have much further extended views so it’s really cool I love this mod it it’s it’s so cool and so nice to have because it just makes the world feel more alive with you can see further

So but yeah that’s uh that’s what I’ve been up to I haven’t done anything else I did craft a couple more bookshelves but we are waiting on our cows over there in the cow Farm to start growing up and getting us some leather but we got two more bookshelves so we’re now at

Level 16 I’m really tempted to go ahead and do that cuz but we’re level 19 so I want to try and milk another bookshelf or two out of it before we move on but I desperately need some resources so I think I’m going to chop down just a ton

Of oak wood from this Forest right here and by the looks of things an Enderman has already beat me to it those guys suck um I’m going to go clean up all the wood that the Enderman I messed up and gather a ton because I kind of want this

To be an oak wood style build around here like a when you think of classic Minecraft mountain home I was thinking of like oak wood with a view and a that sunet that sure is party looks really good so yeah I’m going to go chop down a ton of wood and

You guys are going to get just a little compilation of that so enjoy all right so I think I made one too many axes but we have a good amount of wood here that should be plenty of wood for now um I collected a couple of

Birch logs here we just going to put those away all right so let’s go ahead and start figuring out how we want this to look also how much damage did I do over there I cleared out quite a few quite a few trees over there so hopefully it didn’t make it look too

Ugly also fought a ton of mobs over there and found a really weird cave full of tons of mobs I wonder if there’s a spawner there but I’m not going to get sidetracked again I’m going to build this so that’s what we’re going to do

I’m going to try and make this fit the shape of the mountain as much as possible but I also want it to kind to make architectural sense so you hey get over here and fight me like an ender I know you can get up here oh he came up my

Staircase ow oh he’s Wombo comboing me oh God he’s going to kill me I just started spam clicking I was panicking okay I didn’t want to lose 21 levels okay so note to self they can punch you faster in a place like this that was so

Scary I thought I was going to lose all those levels okay so I think I want this to kind of go over a little bit maybe kind have a balcony out that way or maybe I want the balcony out this way I don’t know let’s actually move this post

I kind of want this post to go let me grab my dirt all right let’s see the distance one two 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 I hate even numbers so what we’re going to do let scoot this back a block get rid of

You okay so that’ll fit better and we’ll just get rid of you okay so this is going to be the shape and I’m going to make it to where this is actual usable space here so we’ll just kind of frame out a space like this I think I’m going to have like a

Very gradual fade here there we go so that’s a nice gradual fade that I did completely incorrectly wow this is turning out great look at that we’re getting some framing in so I think the last bit of framing will go right here here hello Mr zombie

Just going to pop you on the head blam that’ll do it there that’s almost identical to what we’ve got there um I Might we’ll just lose we’ll just leave that for now that that’s fine that’s fine we do this and it doesn’t have to make 100% sense here it’s just got to kind of make some kind of structural sense there we go okay so we got a frame up so now we can kind of

Start doing what we want to here I really want to have like a balcony looking out over this way but this is going to be a solid wall um so I think I’m going to just turn all these into planks and just start Walling all this up getting some walls in

Here making it look good okay I think I do want to heighten this roof up some this is going to break yep let me go grab another iron pickaxe really quick so let’s take another layer off this ceiling I wanted the ceilings to be just a little

Higher and there we go the there should be another layer completely gone and now we will just increase our log height by one block everywhere Okay so we’ve got the pegs up now as high as we want them I do have some leftover glass from that glass we

Cooked for the hostel down there which we still need to work on we have so much that we need to work on here but that’s okay I think we’re going to have just a big glass window right here um I kind of want the same staggered thing on this side

Too might redo this side there we go so now it’s kind of uniform on the side just a little bit and we’ll just do 1 two 3 4 One 2 3 4 and we will put some logs on their sides and you use our axe to strip

Them I think this is going to look pretty good oh um maybe not put the strip logs here oh that one fell how about this one got it there we go Place stripped log on that side there we go we got a nice window to look out and that’s a very nice window

Too look at that view looking good I definitely want more glass in here but I don’t have any more on me so we’re just finish up these oops we’ll finish up these logs on the top and strip them all down there we go this is going to be a really nice size

Living space I’m going to dig down the floor a bit too so that way we can uh have a different floor texture other than Stone and dirt yeah this thing’s coming together I definitely want to put some logs over that cuz this is going to be our walkway

Across I do want to put some fencing and everything over there as well let’s kind of take a look and see what this looks like from the outside after we take a nap we’ll see uh see how this goes and time for the grand reveal do I like this or do I hate

It I like it looks good it’s like we took an entire strip of the mountain out and put a house in and that’s pretty much exactly what we did let’s breed our c battle again and see how many more how much more meat we can get here here they go they are perishing

They are slowly perishing let’s see how much we get here oh this thing is nice as they breed they just die oh poor cows yeah look at that that thing’s working like a I saw you you ain’t going to do anything anything over here boy come

Here get out of here get out my life you ain’t going to blow up my cows not today yeah 11 leather we’re looking good here that’s going to be a really good food source I’m already eating off the steak from the cows that I slayed over

There but yeah this is looking good I love it um now we just I kind of want to have some kind of definition and there’s definitely some parts where I added dirt that makes it look like it’s floating so I want to add something to make it look like it’s shaped into the

Mountain I might use that silk touch pick once I get some other enchants and stuff like that and go get some Stone and blend it a little bit better so that way it looks like it’s part of the mountain but overall I’m really happy with how this is turning out so far I

Definitely want a ton of glass up there cuz the view is just awesome over that way but yeah I think we’re going to uh rip up the floor now and see if we can get some nice floor design in here all all right so we ripped up the floor it

Looks pretty good so now all we got to do is swap out the block below the wood so it doesn’t look like the house is growing out of the dirt um I think I’m just going to do Cobblestone or something like that and then we got to

Figure out what we’re going to put here for the floor so over here I’ve added a couple of more bookshelves I’ve farmed some more stuff we are now up to level 28 we are super duper close to a full enchanting setup over here and now we’ve

Got to just worry about this floor I was thinking about a design that’s kind of O what are my what are these guys doing hello well I’m going to go handle these guys really quick hey get out of my property hey who said you could be here o head

Shot oh yeah shoot him got him got him all right we got his banner and now we can simply just uh do that here to get rid of the water and get some milk to get rid of that effect cool now we have an ominous Banner

Ooh isn’t it weird how you can just get rid of like a whole society that’s upset at you for killing one of their Scout Troops just get rid of that hatred by drinking milk like they mad at you everybody wants to come murder you and

The village you live in but then all of a sudden you drink milk and everything’s fine everything’s fine they just all of a sudden forget thought that’s uh that was really silly I’ve done a full Harvest of this Farm it fully grew up while I was building um

And we got a ton of stuff let me show you what I mean so in here you can see we have tons of carrots tons of potatoes we even got some poison boys tons of wheat seeds that’s going to be some free Bone meal and we have plenty of sugar canane now

We even got a good amount of beetroot going here as well so we’ve got a good amount of uh stuff going I don’t think we’re going to ever have to worry about um Farm or not Farm uh food ever again and also I’ve been breeding up these

Cows we’ve got a lot of beef I’ve been using all of their leather for the enchanting setup over there so yeah we are finally making progress I’m so happy with how things are turning out I’m really happy with with it so by the way if you’re watching this on the day this

Smith texture pack and spax pure Bey Craft um I played the crap out of those texture packs some time ago wow dude that was a skill issue I played the crap out of those texture packs a long time ago um and I just I haven’t really seen

Another one that I’m really a big fan of I like faithful because it’s a faithful Recreation at a higher resolution but the game already kind of looks really dingy and dirty so to increase it by adding more pixels I think it just makes it look a little worse to be honest so

I’m not a fan of um faithful at all dang ton of cows here we go this is how this works I don’t think I’ve shown it to you guys we got a stack of beef folks our first stack of beef wow this thing works awesomely okay now to answer your second question about

Camping my favorite thing to do when camping is we typically go for a hike about a mile or two down the trail and we go we do backpacking so we take a backpack why did I say it like that a backpack loaded up with gear like a tent

Sleeping bag and some cooking supplies and dried foods um and hik it out the trail about a mile or two down the trail and then we set up camp at a designated campsite or somewhere where we’re allowed to camp we don’t just Camp wherever and yeah we basically set up our tents and

Everything like that and then we I don’t know we we set up our tents set up a fire we normally cook food and yeah we just have a good time and I really enjoy it it’s just kind of fun to get out and get away from everything every now and

Again so we really enjoy camping um not much to it we don’t do anything super special like rock climbing or anything like that no but we do um we do enjoy hiking and backpacking we want to do bigger Trails like Mount Mitchell um which is like the tallest point um east

Of the Mississippi um we also want to do um some other things that are big maybe one day do the at but that’s kind of a bucket list item not necessarily something that I think we’re going to be doing anytime soon but yeah we just kind

Of go backpacking and it’s an excuse to get out get active and have fun um and I don’t think there’s anything wrong with that at all so but yeah that’s pretty much what I do on my hikes when I go camping and I hope that thoroughly answered your question Kaylee like I
