Hello how is it going oh that’s very loud hold on let’s balance audio okay good good good so I did uh a little a little bit of work and came up with an easier design that I could uh basically quickly push over as these things this sand raining from above Continues falling over here so I can just break this and kind of keep going and it should keep just filling up this area uh I have not however figured out the best way to deal with this over here I’m I’m thinking if I let this go and I Work on figuring out this end over over here let’s see if I’m over here I don’t know if it will keep working over there or if I’m too far away where does it stop I see that move I see that move I don’t think I’m seeing It over here I think it stops there I’m so close but no so I think if I come over here hopefully it doesn’t like actually get janky or anything kind of just catches up so I got to stay fairly close so I guess what I need to Do I think is figure out a way to move this forward easier and I’m not sure what that is I think maybe I should have uh I think I should have not gone so far over when I was doing this which is kind of annoying but that’s okay I think the Best thing for now that I could do is basically prep a station at the distance where this ends which would be like over a little bit further so where is this this is 629 so that’s not a rocket so I want to prep a little world where I built the uh water sweepers and although I I gave myself like uh a five block um trench to build the water sweepers I decided to go a little bit wider and go six with this one okay so we can get rid of this we Can get rid of this we can get rid of this and we can go rid of this we could actually use this to uh get this set ready to go boop boop do I have enough I do one two oh where is all this coming from got to make sure there’s nothing on The floor here that’s preventing it no we’re good does all look like it’s slightly getting broken why one two why is it going twice that’s weird I don’t think it’s being as effective for some reason one two it’s still like double jutting out one which is breaking every other sand block One what why is that happening that wasn’t happening of keep a staircase going I got to be very careful not to accidentally open it up though on any of the Borders I got I got a a stack from that it’s pretty good C I will just do this there we go and that will slowly help fill things in with extra sand as we go while this is manually bringing me more sand I like it kind of Works it’s a it’s a multi- multistacked approach so if I do this in a sec fun I I definitely think you know one of the big differences between during the pandemic and now so like I don’t know if I’ve told you what’s going on or if you Know about this but like the actors and the writers in my industry are on strike which basically means I am not able to work right now because movies uh have stopped shooting because of this whole strike situation um so it’s it’s kind of like the uh pandemic for me where I can’t Work right now except this time like everything is still open like during what did I just Do is that a ghost block that must be a ghost block uh like during the pandemic I obviously that’s annoying um I couldn’t go out even you know how is that going to handle it oh it just pushes it I couldn’t go out because everything was Closed where now like I I you know I couldn’t go out I couldn’t work so all I could do was stream but this time around I kep go out it’s not like the pandemic is still going on oh there that’s how I did it uh so it’s a little bit different I can still go out so that’s why I’m not like going full three you know 5 days a week eight hour days I I think three days a week is a nice nice touch um may have to go three or four during school yeah I also feel like I was Starting to get burned out on streaming when I was doing it like 8 hours 4 days 5 days a week that was a little too much for my mental capacity at the time um so I think it’s better now doing it this way 3 days a week four to five Hours a day I like that I think I broke one of the pieces of sand that time this is good this is working oh I did another ghost block that’s okay we’ll we’ll come from this side I think is this the last run no it’s going to say it’s definitely definitely increasing Exponentially how quickly we’re able to do this so I don’t know I’m curious pezel me and uh me and Vic have gotten very much so into um watching this YouTube channel have you ever heard of the try Channel there’s there is this channel called the try Channel and it’s Irish people try Stuff and I don’t know what it is about this channel but me and Vic are obsessed with watching it we are constantly watching I think every night we’ve been watching these try videos of Irish people trying stuff you’ve heard of it oh it’s so fun I I we really enjoy it it takes so long to get them emotes approved uh at the start it does but eventually it’s faster okay this this is hard to get And then to duplicate them is even more annoying wait so netherite Ingot is useless no no no you take you take a netherite Ingot and you take this um netherite upgrade you need both of them now they made it more difficult you need to take both of them and put them in a Smithing table in order to actually upgrade stuff so you still need it you definitely still need it Well Done learned that two years ago yeah I mean I probably learned it around the same age as you now could you tell me um what the circumference of that circle Is cuz that’s that’s the next step you know if you could tell me the circumference of that Circle then I’ll be impressed so yeah I had to get I had to get that uh smithing template from um a Bastion in the nether but once you get one you could duplicate them as many Many times as you want as long as you have enough diamonds so it’s not that big of a deal you just got to get one I don’t know uh if you saw Smokey the board at um spawn me Katie and Nikki uh when 1.20 came out did like a bunch of Rating to get a bunch of different armor trim stuff um feel free to duplicate any of the um templates on that board if you want to like you you duplicate a smithing template so you always want to duplicate it before you use it using the the Diamonds the Netherrack and then the smithing Template because otherwise you consume it whenever you actually upgrade stuff and you need you need this to actually upgrade stuff so this the point in this is to make diamonds like still useful so I’m going to use eight diamonds a piece of Netherrack and the smithing template that’ll give me two smithing templates So that I will put one back cuz one was originally MineZ consider the other one a free gift from me um if you if you want one yourself great now I’ll I’ll duplicate mine and I’ll keep that one and you can have another one so now keep this one Keep that one for yourself and this other one that I just duplicated I’ll show you how to use it with this one so you gave me a netherite Ingot so check this out so you use the smithing template here and then you you use the pants there and then you use the Ingot There it’s it’s cool because it gives more of a reason to use Diamond um it’s a little expensive in terms of having to do this but that gets you your netherite leggings now the next thing that’s cool I’m not going to do this I’m just going to show you how this Works if you want to like customize it check this out so you have netherite and you could do this and it makes like a cool red trim and you could give it a red trim with redstone you could give it like a cool white trim with iron um if You wanted to use a diamond you could do that and it gives us like this super sharp um blue trim so the smithing templates that we have at the um at the spawn here that’s the extra Diamond I I don’t think I need that one you can go and duplicate those and then Like customize all your armor and stuff which is kind of cool you could give it like a really unique look um I didn’t I didn’t know half the stuff the teacher didn’t teach some stuff even most of the people my class were confused bro I got to sit That I didn’t get to choose and I have to sit next to a girl who who cares you have to sit next to you do you have the last template what do you mean uh huh do I have the last template i g I gave you a I gave you the Netherite template so you can use that to make more or did you just use it to make something you do one into two well it’s not really duping you’re spending diamonds to do it um I still have my base two yeah I have two I used one to make Your pants and then I gave you one so I duped it twice so one went to two that made your pants and then I duped another one for you so you have one that you can make more in the future to do your helmet your boots so now you should have An extra one so don’t don’t accidentally use that unless you duplicate it um the only thing I say to her is can I borrow played Terraria so you finish the game I definitely did not finish the game it it Got too uh difficult honestly um I I enjoyed it but the difficulty became too annoying to me um after a while I just got frustrated by some of the stuff that you had to do to continue on in it um so if anything I would say maybe I would consider that Just a skill Gap my my skill Gap and what I needed to do to get better at the game were uh not an alignment you know um it’s more of it’s very much more PVE type of a game than Minecraft is um and my creativity I didn’t feel was being Used to the fullest extent in that game uh how did I lose all of my blocks of redstone not good have you seen the game viewfinder oh dude is that the the one where you like take a picture and then you have to like line it up to like walk between different Areas I’m pretty sure I have yeah oh man that game looks wild absolutely wild um and me and me and Vicki were looking at um Boulders Gate 3 the other day uh after that last stream when we talked about it it was it was it looks good I think not It’s not a right now game um we looked at that we were looking at palea um the there was this other one that just came out that is a musical style RPG that one we might attempt it’s more like a story type game though um I Played through when it came out I didn’t realize it was out actually um I don’t know how I missed that it was out but I’m going to have to look that up because I was super interested in that one I remember seeing demos of it I just thought it was still being developed So um that’s really cool now how far did I get in Terraria we got down to like the fire levels Underground round I feel like that is about how far we got um also uh encrypted I don’t know if you’ve ever played Hollow night um I was a huge fan Of hollow KN been waiting for silk song to come out for a long time but one of the developers and people um with that they did a new game called Crow sworn and they just released a demo for that game that my friend and I have been playing Through I am very excited for when that gets released it’s basically like Hollow night um how about the boss like I think we got the eyeball boss we got like two or three bosses I couldn’t tell you exactly the names of them I don’t remember um was pretty cool not sure how Hard it is to actually do things they do seems pretty impressive I haven’t played it though but I know about it ah Hollow night was one of my all-time favorite games I would put that in the top 10 that’s in the top 10 of my favorites that game is so Good okay so I think this absolutely loved that game was solid Um how many more do I have to go come on I’m sorry I’m sorry Smokey there’s a while Hollow Knight and Celeste were both huge I just didn’t like the art direction of Celeste the art Direction on Hollow Knight was so much more interesting to Me uh so I think that’s why I think that’s why Hollow Knight wins out for me also like um the just the style of gamep playay in general 1 two three four like I I was never really into speedrunning stuff but I actually got into speedrunning Hollow KN something about Hollow KN was super interesting from a speed running mechanic okay we’re going this is correct right yeah I think this the idea is I do the first two layers before I start trying to take down more sand on the current ones if I get these done then we’re good Interesting I think most of the rest of the internet got into speedr running celest yeah I was really into speedrunning holl night um holl night was probably a harder game to speedrun in general because that game relied on a lot of um uh a lot of mechanics that I Feel you couldn’t get into to late game like you would need one thing to be able to do something else a lot with that game which is I think why from a speedrunning standpoint it may have been more difficult but I really enjoyed it did I play Stanley Dell I don’t know What that is so probably not yeah I don’t know what that game is the biggest game that I feel like had that Kind of like Choice things it sounds like from what we I watched a bunch of preview videos for The Boulders gate thing that seems very Choice heavy every decision matters there are almost 64 different endings my Lord see to a degree though that kind of I don’t Know that I like that I like to have like what the people who came up with the game what their Vision was in a weird way so it goes it’s it’s a double-edged sword I’m 50/50 on it okay so we need to be ready to activate the next layer here I should Have a piece of redstone I think that is the same what’s going on with the render there that is weird I don’t know what’s happening there um I do get that then so they have a message they have something that they’re trying to say but how you get there there’s different paths to get to that Message which I can appreciate that um that form of Storytelling then we will pick all this stuff up while that’s is that getting over there yet not yet slow process but I do feel like it’s getting exponentially faster or not exponentially Maybe linearly faster oh no I’ve Fallen is this working I should make sure that that’s working and we torches um I mean if you if you want to do night vision potions you can that’s all you though I don’t have like a bunch of night vision potions Um so wait hold on explain the rooll thing to me like I’ve heard of that in terms of DnD but like is it is it not skill-based then is it like you still have to rely on the role of the dice in there I don’t know that I like that at All that that seems weird to me I don’t I don’t feel comfortable with that uh you have skills that augment your chances oh there are things about that that I don’t know how I feel that’s uh I mean I guess every game kind of has some some sort of RNG to a degree Um I don’t know I don’t know about that so say you need to make an intelligent so say you need to make an intelligence check and your intelligence kind of hide you get plus four to whatever you roll and then you can have proficiencies and things that further boost It is it Poss possible to boost something to 16 so you always get like a perfect roll is it possible to get things high enough to get a perfect roll because if everything is always up to chance I don’t like that but if you have enough If you can boost things enough that you don’t necessarily get to that point and you could always be 100% then maybe um and then then you can get wait hold on and spells can get you more boost and then you can get advantage on the roll to where you roll twice and Take the better there’s almost always some kind of chance I guess like okay so octopath is like my best reference for this but um there there’s like a specific attack that I rely on in octopath always does like um 15,000 base damage but there’s a chance that that attack can crit you Could get a crit on that and it does like 20,000 okay based on you know how much armor you have that boosts your critical chance or whatever is there at least the ability that you can always rely on some base level thing uh for a lot of things if you roll one it’s Called a critical fail and you just fail regardless of your modifiers if you’re roll 20 it’s called critical SE success and just automatically pass I just realized I don’t think I cleared this whole area out I definitely did not let’s clear this out because this could break it if we get to There I don’t know how far it is um for really hard Checks In DND D you can have things that get H for really hard checks in D and D you can have things where you have to get like 25 plus to pass or oh my Gosh I’m G to have to watch some people play it like I watch some videos describing it and like reviews and stuff there’s some there’s some aspects of it that I’m like h I don’t know how I feel about yet I need that I need things to rely on I need to always have some ability to rely on something oh I guess that’s it I guess we work on quoting from japa this devs are panicking because balers Gate 3 is so good narrative is so dumb no one is panicking three devs said something on Twitter and others replied with nuance and context that is left out of this Narrative I need to to sleep um very fresh exciting news cycle though I guess good games get made when there is safety stability time investment and Trust From the partners and team that is experienced in making games together and have made similar genres in the past having devs stay in the studio is Crucial in my opinion Studios have to retain knowledge there is a big issue in the industry right now probably alltech that doesn’t re reward employees for staying on the only way to get salary jumps that at least match inflation is to move to another company staying at a company for Long literally makes you earn Less in the long term at the moment so it’s definitely it’s definitely interesting it’s it’s started some very interesting arguments in general about developers and gaming s and all that stuff they made a statement about being against like the kind of predatory extra expense Stuff games have been doing lately good for them I mean that’s awesome it here and that pushes all the sand over oh but that’s that’s that’s that’s that’s problematic it’s problematic okay okay we need to figure that out Um how could I deal with that um if a block is no like that that is that is of issue that is an issue you okay yeah okay um I needed to pul once I need to build that Contraption but that Contraption is really annoying Um I guess I could do it though I don’t know if it’s worth it to keep doing it each time so it’s a single pulse switch uh so I forget the exact timer mechanics but this goes like this then um this locks a hopper locks it there so this goes like this and Then this goes like that and then this goes like that so in theory if I do okay so we got to figure out the timing I don’t know if that’s it let me try that okay nope problem is definitely the timing so that’s two ticks um can I get it to just one Aha okay so that’s just one so in theory this Falls till it fills up here this pushes it over Falls till it goes gets up to here so this whole thing gets pushed up then it pushes out to here then it pushes out to here then it Pushes out to here then it pushes out to here it keeps going and then when this is full all six happen at once okay I think that’s good and I think that’s probably where I’m going to leave it I’m going to let this run and see if that in theory Works but that’ll be a little bit faster then because then I could just sit here and let it do each section at a time and I’ll just have to keep bringing that this nonsense forward but I think that’ll I think that’ll just about do it which is
