EPIC Nether Adventure in Modded Minecraft! | Dadcraft73

Hello my friends my name is dadcraft73 and welcome back to another episode of heavens of sorcery a 1.12 mod of minecraft mod pack from the same dude who made that regrowth game and you know that we’re big fans of that so we’re trying to get in here and figure out some stuff

Hey let me tell you what let me give you a pro youtuber strat are you ready when you are making youtube videos it is super important to record to actually hit the record button uh and then you will then be able to uh you know like um make videos

So i just did a couple quests and i wasn’t recording so i’m going to show you what those are nothing too crazy i made juicy juicy was done this right here we had to make um leaves could be transformed into wild berry bushes while you could also make uh wheat seeds

From iron berry seeds in the cauldron so what i did is i already had a couple wheat seeds i had two and i guess from just randomly hitting grass around here or something so that part of it was already complete but then i took i made some shears a set of

Shears like that right there and sheared off a leaf and threw it in the manifold here and i got some wild berry bushes and i planted two of them okay so that’s really the only thing that you have missed not a whole lot of craziness i realized that

My little light that is on that you can’t see wasn’t red so that’s why it wasn’t working all right so let’s go here so now um the next quest well actually that’s not true i did i did um i made chili pepper seeds so what we did is we took our wild berries

That we got as part of the quest reward threw them in the crushing tub jumped up and down on them got a bucket full of juice put that bucket full of juice in here into the cauldron and then threw one of our mine or seeds in there and we ended up with

A pepper so we also though need to make a wooden steak steak like this hopefully it’s pretty simple do we can make it yes we’ll make it like this and we get some chili peppers but we do also have some chili pepper seeds so oh by the way the reward of that

Making the iron bear or the the wild berry bushes was a stone hoe so now we have that which is pretty cool so what we’re going to do is go up here and i don’t know if this is how i want to do this i think what i need to do now

Let me tell you if you’re new to the channel by the way thank you so much for watching i truly appreciate it but if you’re new around here one of the things that you may not realize when it comes to mod packs is how i like to play them which is at

Least initially um and every time where we don’t have to i like to just play straight through so you see the mod pack as i see it i don’t like to go off camera too much and do a lot of grinding around off camera because

To me that’s fake i mean that’s just how i feel that doesn’t mean it’s the right way it’s just how i do it make sure we grab those um so but i’m making exception to that in episode two already because what i want to do is get this island or

This our little platform that we’ve got here kind of squared away i believe so we have all these trees we want to chop them down there is a way to make more ironberry saplings which we will get to in a little bit i think but what i would like to do is

Make everything that we’ve got around here this level right like this right so that means we need to move our infinite water source which we can do i’m afraid that one of these is going to be a hole and it’s going to cart down to the abyss so that’s what i’m going to

Do i’m actually going to go off camera for a little bit and i’m going to clean up all of this area i think i’m going to leave a little patch of this infused grass because i don’t know if we’re going to need it for something but we might as well just keep it

But we’re going to lower i think what i’ll do is i’m going to lower this side these three sides down to this level we’ll leave this sort of the way it is today that way we have a little patch of grass over here we have our water source you know we

Have everything else but then we’ll have a platform that we can kind of extend that way over there and make it bigger yeah yeah yeah okay so i’m gonna take care of that i’m gonna go off camera and the next time you see this platform it’s gonna be all lowered

Down except for the side with water this side right here so we’re going to start over here and just start tearing it up all right so i’m going to work on that for a little bit and then i’ll be back with you in just a second

And we’ll see if we can’t progress a little bit further through our quests let’s see so we have milhouse milhouse yeah we need to make a mill and then chili powder okay yeah we’ll work on that when we get back so we will be doing all of our quests together

Except for those ones that i didn’t do together with you because i wasn’t recording anyway i’ll see you in just a second alrighty my friends we are back all right i went ahead and took down the entire island because i thought maybe i mean the only reason i

Was really saving it was for two reasons one because there was grass up there and two because of the infinite water source so i just moved the infinite water source down here i put both it and my mana pool here level with the ground just because i think it’s

Easier to throw stuff in there they’re going to jump up on stuff so we’ve got that working just like we wanted to and with that by chopping all this down i have plenty of dirt and i made myself just a little bit of a farm over here

Got a single source of water in here and i’ve got a bunch of stuff done um so that’s what i’ve been working on i took everything down i have a bunch of this tiger cobblestone i’ve got a ton of wood from chopping all those trees down

I also have some of these i think what i need to do is make a bucket let’s do that maybe let me see can i get a couple more out of there yeah get two more so i can go like this and make a bucket and i think if i go like so

I get a bucket of dirt yes and then i can make an iron wood sapling to replace all the ones that we’ve chopped down then we just need to grow it somewhere i’m not sure exactly where we’ll figure out a spot that we want to have

That kind of stuff growing so this is working pretty good i think i’m in pretty good shape um i would have started recording earlier i’ve just literally been standing around here doing a little bit of farming but i it was pouring down rain and it’s also nighttime but i was pouring

Down rain and i don’t have a way to sleep through the night not as of yet at least and that makes things a little bit hard but i couldn’t get rid of the rain so i had to literally just stand around here and do a little bit of farming

We do have a little bit of wheat though which makes me pretty happy i did find these bone shards that we got if you remember in episode one we got bone shards by right clicking grass oh i guess i should talk about that i moved this grass patch down here as well

I forgot that we had pasture seeds so we just put one of those down on the grass and we get we get more right it grows grass so we just put that on down on dirt and then we’re good to go but anyway i’ve been farming up these

Bone shards we can also get clay out of these guys right so we could clay yeah yeah okay um and these things turn into bone meal like so now let’s replant this extra seed we can’t have and then what i was doing is i was just

Planting a little bit of crops and then just picking one and right click bone mealing it and getting more seeds that right bunch of seeds and we’ll just plant these one two three four five six seven eight nine ten okay um i also had a piece of garlic that i

Got from somewhere i’m not exactly sure where i got it and i’ve got a peanut seed and i planted both of those and my chili pepper seed are all been planted so now you’re completely caught up so man this episode’s been sort of like me doing a little bit of work off camera

Type stuff but nothing too major all right let’s get a spot planted or made where we can plant at least for now let’s go like over which side do you think we’re gonna be working on probably maybe this corner right here so let’s go like this and we’ll make ourselves a little area

Here let’s fill this in and then we’ll go like so and like so like that okay i’m not sure if this is gonna work or not but we will plant some trees like this let’s see if we can’t just plant this guy oh hey he’s a block on his head okay well let

That grow see what happens it says it’s a sapling okay and then as we get i guess we could make some more if we really wanted to let’s see if they all turn out that way let’s get a bucket oh that bucket of dirt i keep it okay

Let’s get a couple more of these saplings then we’ll just plant these guys like so okay that’s a weird i think that’s just a weird texture thing but anyway we’ll let those grow and we’ll see what happens when we get over there okay so now let’s get back into the old quest line

So next up was milhouse so we need we already have having chili peppers is great for that spicy flavor but it doesn’t help for much getting any other part of the situ for helping any other part of the situation you can however construct a mill from stone

To crush the chili into a more reactive powder okay so mill how do we make a mill let’s go here and take a look so we need a wooden handle which we don’t really know how to make but we can probably figure it out let’s see wooden handle this little guy

Two sticks okay doesn’t seem to be anything too exciting so we can go like that and then can we do like this with this make the mill no do we actually have to smelt this stuff i’m guessing that we do let’s do that and let’s get

One two three four five six so let’s do 12. those guys let’s melt those up okay good good oh yeah these trees oh crazy dynamic trees they’re growing all right good um we do need to get oh can i make torches i’m guessing that i can yeah let’s just get some torches

I don’t i’m not too worried about mob spawns really i’m just worried about lighting up around here a little bit so we can see yeah better also makes for better videos if we’re not blinded okay good enough we’ll do that for now maybe we’ll figure out how to

Get these are botania i think so if we can get some of those going or maybe i think they’re i don’t know what they are thumb craft maybe anyway we’ll get some of that down in the future okay so we’re good to go we’ve got a source of food happening over there

That’s good okay so now let’s take a look here we got to get this mill done we need one more piece now we can go ahead and make the mill come on perfect okay now we can go like so and then we should be able to go

Like this and then we get a mill okay so let’s for now let’s just put this guy down here what’s his deal oh okay all right so if i take one let’s look forward and see oh with this one okay okay the mill will output into any adjacent

Block which has an inventory we should probably just take care of that now let’s make a chest real quick and we’ll go like that okay let’s test that oh we got a bunch let’s test a little bit more see if it’ll just output right in there

Oh yeah yeah okay perfect all right so we’ll put this in there and i would assume we’re gonna need this stuff for something all right so let’s go here and take a look at the next quest this is done now uh the floor is lava with chili powder

At your disposal you can start producing other similarly hot materials combining the powder with liquid mana in a boiling cauldron transforms it into dangerously hot lava requires fire under the cauldron chili pounder so manna is going to give us a thing okay all right so this is going to give us

Lava how do i get rid of this is that now just like a bucket of dirt forever oh yeah all right i’m 100 down with that okay that’s really cool all right so now we need a cauldron of mana so we need to get water let’s use our

Cool bucket here get water in our deal oh this thing still has that stuff in it let’s break wait do i have more let’s get a couple more seeds here two seeds giving me chili peppers all right let’s get um this maybe one more seed okay did i get a seed

Okay so something’s making me grumpy okay now we have the seeds okay so now we’ll throw one more of these in here like so okay and we might as well since now we know that we can use chili powder for stuff let’s make no uh no one this three okay

Let’s just go over here and plant these guys okay perfect all right we’re gonna have to obviously expand our farm here in the near future but we could do that whenever all right so now we have to get ourselves where’s our cauldron right here okay so i think what we’re gonna do

Is we are going to let’s see is there one of these all right so i think with quark we can do like some fancy stuff yeah okay all right that can go back there and then this will come out i wonder though put this there okay i wonder where’s my axe

If uh this i i have a feeling someone i have a feeling that fire spread is probably off one of my patrons i saw said that so let’s see what happens okay oh wait a minute so i think we need to put this out a second

This needs to go in here and then a pasture seed needs to be dropping okay now we like it on fire it’s bubbling now okay okay i’m just gonna leave that there and what do we throw in there what did it say oh chili a couple couple chili things right man a bucket

Does it take like a long time or something okay it’s bubbling oh yeah yeah okay and then we can get this yes okay and we got an extra bucket of lava which is pretty sweet okay so that’s done now stone age how retro the latent magics here have some strange

Effects as you’ve already seen yet none so peculiar as the conflict of lava and water in an even fight they’ll produce an infinite supply of cobblestone as the as they wore yet if water gets the advantage and contacts the source of the lava it will turn

Into hardened obsidian so we got to make some that and that oh my goodness we’re gonna okay all right well look at my crazy trees over there growing all right so we need to get ourselves a let’s see if we can remember it’s been a while since we have made a thing

So let’s see so i think what we’ll do is let’s make it where we’re going to make it that’s out let’s go like that just so we don’t cart down there and fall okay so let’s make our lava let’s make this thing this is kind of silly but we will do it

So if i go and do we also have this wow okay that’s pretty sweet i guess all right so we will go and chop out this and we will so we need to have the water flowing downhill like so okay so let’s do okay is that going to allow me to mine

Obsidian i would assume maybe i would assume that’s what that oh no my diamond pickaxe will though okay let’s see cobblegen cobblegent so water is gonna flow there let’s go get a bucket of water i mean it’s been a while since i’ve made a cobblegen okay and then i think no

Okay so that should work right ten pieces of cobblestone i think i can probably go like this okay and then if i take this then i have that right and then i can go and farm this this way okay look at me breaking out my old school

Cobble gen moves and getting a little cobblestone generator yeah boy all right hurry up there we go all right so that is done now and we just got oh my goodness stacks on stacks this uh if you didn’t realize there is a mod in this thing that makes things stack i

Think to like 8 000 so like a single stack of cobblestone is gonna have like eight thousand blocks in a full stack okay so that’s done hell bound i think you’ve become powerful enough now to have this world fragment partially tethered to your soul because of this i can

Lessen my hold here and divert so my essence to helping you access other planes of existence the first of these is the realm known as the nether hopefully opening up this realm of fire will grant you the means to get many new resources to ex

To access the nether build a frame of 10 or more obsidian chiseled variants are allowed it ignited to open the gateway okay and we’re going to get a bunch of obsidian for it okay all right so we know how to make obsidian but we don’t have do we i guess it’s

Really telling us that we have an unlimited supply of lava now if we can make mana okay so i can pour this in here and get so i don’t need this cobblestone generator anymore per se all right let’s get that squared away first let’s go grab this source of water out of here

And then we can actually leave that there break that okay and then put this like that okay so now we have this source of lava which means we can make more obsidian if we need to so we need to farm up a bunch of pieces of obsidian

Now if my old buddy javadab was here he would be getting all loud about making the portal from lava source blocks or some crazy thing but we’re just going to farm up the obsidian that we need 10 pieces through this method which is a bucket of water in here

A pasture seed in the water to give us lava or to give us that and then we light it on fire and then we throw in one two let me let that do its steel right and then i should give it some more lava yeah yeah yeah all right and then this

Can go here okay and then we can go ahead and start this process again okay fires out but that’s okay okay then lava is produced and then we can get more okay so it sounds like we’re at another one of those points where it is going to require a little bit of grinding

For us to do this so maybe we should go off camera but let’s get a couple more pieces oh dang okay now i think probably this block of charcoal is to be used for the fire source but this works the way it is okay so now

It’s just a matter of doing our deal grinding out all this obsidian it looks like our fire does not spread here on the old mod pack which is really good because we’re not losing our platform which i’m down with so we just need to farm up i guess after this one seven

More pieces of obsidian so we really have five with if we count the two lava buckets in our inventory okay so let me grind out these last couple we’re gonna go like so and like so and so yep and then i’ll just get the rest of them

We can get more pasture seeds from our little grass thing over there that’s super easy that’s not a big deal yep all right so let me get all the pieces parts that i need all the obsidian oh i thought i had more than that did i lose a piece

Maybe i only had two so far and i’ll get this done and i’ll bring you back we’ll make our nether portal and then we’ll go skating off into the nether and see what trouble we can get into there we also need to make a bed i’ll see in just a second alrighty my

Friends we are back okay this should be my tenth piece of obsidian didn’t take too long um i did use a little bit of bone meal i can only just stop mining that right in the middle but i used a bone meal on some of my chili peppers and raked in a bunch

I had to go back over the mill hopefully there’s an automated solution of that or maybe we just won’t need it i mean if we can go to the nether we could probably get all the the lava that we might need all right so let’s put this like so

All right so now we have our 10 pieces of obsidian that means we can make a portal i don’t really know where we want to make our portal i think we’re going to make it right over here let’s use some of this stuff maybe yeah this actually will work

Let’s go like so one two three oh one two three and then we can go like that and then was it two yeah all right let’s go one more oh we can’t dang it all right hold on if we go like this and then we’ll break these out

And then we’ll go like this one two three there now we sort of have this area here uh we also wanna fill that in okay so we’re gonna do two pieces of obsidian like so and then we’re gonna go one two three and one One two three and then we’ll do this and this and then we’ll go like that okay there’s our portal gotta have corners on it i mean i’m not a fan of having a not having another portal all right so did i get credit for that quest oh and then lighten it i guess

Okay and then what is actually the quest we have to go to the nether i’m guess hellbound oh notice another okay i don’t know how long we want to stay here we’re not really geared to go to the nether we probably need to get ourselves geared should i make

Should i make some stuff let’s just go let’s go how about we go and then that can be where we end this episode i’m not sure how long this how long we are we might have a little bit more time do we really want to do we want to make

Armor or not so i think my old buddy tofu said that we do one even if there’s like a one for three kind of deal yeah we can do one at a time and get gold nuggets so we can set up make ourselves a set of gold or diamond armor

That wouldn’t be too big of a deal we have tons of wood i mean that’s gonna be i mean it’s a ton of diamond nuggets to get a set of armor but all right let’s take a look maybe at our quest and see if there’s anything charging with heat come here sugar this

Okay i guess i mean these are all done almost to get redstone okay it’s weird that some of these things are marked as complete but um okay so i mean it says to go here i mean let’s just do it let’s go and then if we

Blaze powder good to know anyway oh my goodness so we went to the nether this thing should now be complete right yeah yeah yeah and then we’ve got charging with heat hell’s constructs hell’s bounty turning with heat um throw it in the fire redstone okay so we

Need to make a piece of redstone we want to do that let’s do it real quick because i have a thing i have one piece of this okay you know i could have brought as a piece of netherrack back with me at least okay let’s go like so

Okay but if he’s another rack that would help so we just throw it in the fire okay where’s my other nut where’s my stuff man oh i do i do i have it okay okay all right perfect all right so we have done good work today i think
