EPIC NetherYam Moments – All The Mods 8 – Episode 06

Hi there my name is neam and today we’re playing Minecraft welcome back everybody I hope you’re having a great day when we last left off we had our little our new little hole here okay I get it there’s monsters outside okay rude um and we’re

G to we got to do some stuff there’s lots of stuff we got to do um I want more power that doesn’t rely on me putting coal in here cuz coal is stinky and I don’t want to do that anymore and uh we need food food that isn’t just

Sort of randomly picked off the ground and hope for the best until it’s gone so um I think maybe we’ll do the first one first there’s a couple of options um I was also checking to make sure we had Angel rings for future reference um not that we’re anywhere near that yet

But I want to I probably I’ll probably start with this a magmatic Dynamo cuz those are easy to do gives us a fair amount of consistent power and there’s nothing at all scary about going to the Nether and then the next one I’m going to do I think is a rainbow

Generator and that is from Iron generator iron furnaces and we’ll get this set up but this will probably take a little bit longer that mean these aren’t crazy builds you know a little bit of iron little bit of gold little bit of diamond so on and so forth nothing too wild a

Little bit of Blazer on so that’s probably a little bit outside of our um reach right this second but you know otherwise not too crazy a little netherite netherite is obviously probably going to be the one that’s going to be slightly tough but you know netherite I only need four bits so

Nothing too wild um so I think but yeah so I think the the rainbow generator I think is a little bit Out Of Reach uh for right now but I don’t think the magmatic dynamos are we’re going to need a couple of things and those couple of things are

Certainly are certainly involve blaze rods so cuz we’re going to need a ender tank that’s definitely going need blade blaze rods and ender pearls and things like that but did I ever get any ender pearls I don’t know but for now let’s start with thinking about going to the

Nether and how we might actually accomplish that so let’s grab I have a backpack don’t I fun times all right let’s go get some water because what I’m going to do is we’re just going to go find a little bit of lava and uh get ourselves some

Obsidian I grabbed some diamonds um so that we could do that a little bit more easily so uh is this daytime or night time it is sunset ow all right let me go to sleep real quick just just so not roll stumbling stumbling around in the dark and

Then and then let’s go find some lava I know there’s some lava just on the Overworld uh map just out here somewhere where is a bit of a question no wor a shot couldn’t remember if my boots allowed me to jump a little higher

Or not so we got some right here here so nothing nothing too wild so all we have to do is cross this little Ravine that is our house and we’ll roll up and we’ll find ourselves a little bit of lava I don’t know what those chill those Frosty

Frost creepers are all about all right so um Lava yes maybe I don’t know I’m I’m more honestly more interested it in the uh obsidian at the moment I only need 10 so I think I’ll sort of start from over here and let it kind of just

Do that that should be plenty and then I think I neglected to actually build the oh that’s cute little bits of Ash kind of tumble I did not build a actual pickaxe so let’s get a couple of these a little one of wa hello a fur crafting

Table dorbs okay and then we’ll actually make a diamond pickaxe this will take a hot minute but we’ll get ourselves a little bit of whoops that’s not it get ourselves a little bit of obsidian 10 10 bits to be exact and then we can go into The Nether

I think do I have Flint boy I hope I have Flint ice booket challenge step one step one of going into The Nether I spoke a challenge all right I’ll be right back when I have the obsidian okay so that’s our 10 obsidian uh gra uh gathered there we can grab

This with us as well we’re not really going to probably need to come back here pretty much ever so let us go get ourselves a uh nether portal I think I want it to be a little bit closer to our uh new area not the mining tunnel

Well maybe I guess I I don’t really I don’t love the nether my nether portal to be too close to my base necessarily so maybe this actually makes more sense ow rude ow stop it stop it uh so maybe here actually somewhere around here I don’t know if I want it

Yeah yeah we’ll go down we’ll go down the stairs a little bit we’ll make it right here how about that we’ll sort of make it like right here this will be our new this will be our uh nether portal because yeah again not too close

To not too close to the base you know it makes sounds you get you get some Pigmen from time to time and we just don’t need any of that so I don’t have a flint and steel uh at the moment but oh heartbreaking don’t you hate that don’t

You hate that just a little bit of a poop and yeah got spend all that time ring out all right perfect and then what I’ll do is just for sort of yeah we will uh put some doors oh never mind don’t need that at all I’ve already

Got one put these guys I know I already had some fur doors somewhere but what are you going to do all right cool there we go that way in case we do get some zombie pigman Pigman leaking out of the the the door then we don’t have to worry

About them all right I might have the stuff for flint and steel right here there’s some lint and it’s got some iron on me sweet awesome all right easy peasy um I certainly don’t need to bring all this stuff with me don’t breathe at me who’s breathing on

Me okay that’s me um junk junk junk junk uh everything everything must go I’ll keep that on me I don’t need that I don’t need these just BL BL BL redstone torch how did I even end up with that I think that was when I was

Uh oh right that’s when I was going through those uh the trying to deal with those cave spiders anyway here we are um let me Chomp down a couple of these real quick and oh boy here’s hoping we get a decent nether spawn please don’t put me just on some giant super tall

Ravine that just leads to nothing oh I was worried there for a second all right that’s not this isn’t my favorite uh but I’ve had worse all right uh what I’m going to do is I’m going to hit C and I’m going to see nether portal because we do not want to get

Lost and I mean we’ve got a map and everything but who knows where it would be if just looking at the map I almost looked right at that guy all right yeah I don’t love this this is not my favorite nether spawn ever but I’ve had

Way worse so let’s get down here oh hello warped shroomie look at his little hair why do you have hair my dude oh how cute how absolutely adorable I am going to I’d love it if you were in there too but actually I don’t know if

This can hold more than one oh no I’m sorry oh no I’m sorry oh no oh no I’ve made a mistake I’ve made a mistake I’m sorry I didn’t realize I thought oh it’s not a nest that wasn’t a nest that’s that was a proper Hive oh gosh I’m sorry

I’m sorry I’m sorry I’m sorry ow ow ow no oh no oh no oh no oh God oh God they’re multiplying I thought that was one of the nests what happened wow I really I really beefed that didn’t [Laughter] I oh God sorry oh man that was awful all

Right where am I let’s see if I can here we go this is where I want to be also what what does this mean could this be a nether fortress that I Spy here it could be it certainly could be be all right so we’re going to go this

Way instead and hopefully those bees are less mad at me how did it go so wrong all right uh oh I see what are you trying to oh Soul Stone well it’s Soul Stone cobbled St Soul Stone okay cool uh I mean cool all right I’m going to go just straight this

Way and N I should have brought some Cobble with me just for marking purposes but I guess I could do this Boop and I’ll find it oh is this what was that Crimson Crimson iron what does one do with Crimson iron turns it into Crimson iron ingots okay fun never heard of

It I don’t think oh man okay are we going are we going deep here this this might this might take us all over the place we’re we’re making it I could do I could do these don’t really do a whole hack of a lot in the nether

But they make me feel a little better all right what ooh hello wow oh whoa whoa what did I stumble on here what are you are we are we piglin no where’re zombie pigman okay perfect that’s what I like to see all right yeah nice cool wow

All right I don’t know if this taken me anywhere in particular but I mean we’re we’re sort of somewhere right this isn’t no oh my I don’t know if I want to mess with any of this why you like this no no no no no leave me alone oh God oh God stop

It how does uh oh oh wow that is rude unnecessary I assumed it was just going to shoot at me but no it’s way meaner than that and then we good here or you just learn into a false sense of security okay seems okay oo a diamond chest plate I’ll take that

Uh I’m not super prepared to just take any old thing yet but I will take a little of this take another sturdy B cage uh Soul Reaper three grants one additional Soul per kill three attack damage yeah it’s better than the sword I have so I might as well use

It condensed blood withered rib all right well I don’t really want to get too deep into the weeds here oh my gosh why I’m trying to get to that wow that is not what I was expecting it also my draw distance is pretty sad but what am I looking at here

Then okay not at all what I was expecting that’s a different map what are you what what are all these what is this I don’t know I don’t know what this is why is there all this stuff and it’s around these little four little pillars which seem to be those four little

Pillars so I these are Under the lava which seems wild to me or they’re above me but they also don’t seem to be above me oh whoa whoa whoa wait wait there’s all this though Brimstone Caverns Z104 I’m at z78 they’re above this that’s wild but it’s not a nether

Fortress which is a little bit of a bummer oh my gosh what is all this um all right well no nether fortress there’s a apparently a boat there’s a boat I needed a I kind of wanted a nether fortress though and then what is this over here is this like

A is this like a building of some sort because if I look at the other map that looks like a structure and then what’s this over here oh my goodness gracious oh we’ve got these kinds of like biomes oh this has a bunch of weather skeletons on it apparently okay so many

Maps that give me so much conflicting information um uh what was I going to look at um oh yeah these things no I think they’re just more of these little like stalic typ things I don’t know ah man I was really hoping for I was really hoping I’d found a

Nether fortress just right off the bat but no dice all right that’s not as important as I’d love to be able to have access to this big lava lake so so I’d love to get down there in a way that is not insanely dangerous I should have I should have

Um I should have brought more obsidian with me so I could make a another nether portal down there um that’s what I should have done but too bad so sad I suppose I could just go back probably makes the most sense for me to just go back for now

Because this is going to be a hike I I mean getting down I mean getting down is inevitable right gravity will help me out here but what is that what are those down there I don’t even know but getting back up is going to be a little bit of a

Pickle so I kind of want I kind of want to get some some supplies before I do this should probably also learn how to get back to my nether portal but and one of those supplies might in fact be why did I not actually pick up the Beehive last time never

Mind who’s that guy um some of those supplies might be Another you know uh what are the words I’m thinking of here a another set of obsidian so I can make another NE nether portal because I think that will make my life a little easier in many ways let see if I can make this nope oh come on

Wow I am hurt come on I can make this there we go just second guessing myself cuz I’m hurt and stressed hey nether portal welcome back buddy um welcome back me to the nether portal yeah I don’t know where it’ll drop me but I kind of feel like that anything’s better than

Than where I what I have to do to get back to my nether portal which is all that and especially once I you know uh once I sort of get down closer to the lava not that I can really do too much with that lava though I need blaze

Rods H man that’s kind of a stinky spawn kind of a stinky spawn can I look from here uh no really I thought I could switch I thought I could switch on here I could switch which uh which uh world I was looking at which dimension oh well um I’m hurt I’m very

Hurt all right I think it might be worth uh let me see what it’s going to cost me I think it might be worth uh getting into phytogenic insulators real quick lumium whoa okay we might be a little bit ways from lumium uh tin silver and glow stone ah I

Have none glow stone so that is going to be a problem bummer oh apparently it’s bedtime oh man okay so many things that I don’t have and I need before we can really progress here and it’s all in the nether all right let me at least get a good chunk of

Cobble so that I can just get rid of some of this stuff so I can safely more safely uh descend into madness um into The Nether it’s not my favorite I really have to get a another food solution here these will work all right cool cool cool cool cool so glow

Stone um glow stone is up up there with in uh in terms of things I’m going to need from the nether glow stone but blaze rods blaze rods are sort of my I I’m not going to be able to do a ton without blaze rods so uh let’s get oh

Jeez all right let me first let’s turn these into uh let’s turn these into stairs shall we what a nightmare so I can at least get to down to the uh this little grass or whatever this stuff is uh as easily as possible just to sort of tell me not to

Go that way but we are in fact going this way there we go cool okay and then I sort of like to you know kind of lead myself a little bit um where is it exactly here so we’ll sort of wh do that and then can’t see that so get rid of this

Something like that and then this takes me down here I go around here I can kind of see it from there but we’ll go ahead and just be even more clear this way that way okay cool so that’ll lead me there easy peasy and then we’ll go here and then

Maybe maybe we’ll just go straight straight out of here it’s dangerous and there’s a there’s a there’s a big old drop um if I go far enough this way I assume um but maybe not maybe I’ll get lucky here and this somehow leads me a fair

Ways uh oh yeah all right it’s not the best but I’ve had worse do that what are you guys doing what are you shroom light not what I’m in the market for oh those are obsidian that’s kind of cool so um I’m going to sort of try to protect myself a little bit

Here so I can make this turn and we’ll just go down this way just a little bit of a I’m fine I’m fine everything’s fine I totally I’m a Minecraft professional I know what I’m doing I definitely don’t place blocks incorrectly I’m like a speed Builder nailed it all right so that get

Got me down this far oh look at this oh that’s what I was seeing green fire Neato okay cool um I think I will go ahead and just sort of keep this stair situation going and this is going to be awful and terrifying and scary and I’m going to

Mess it up and I’m going to die but it’ll be it’ll be a nice way it’ll be a nice stop stop that okay I have to take off these the step height is lovely but not when you’re trying to be careful this is probably my least favorite thing to do in

Minecraft build a staircase down from height at least I have the little uh build underneath thing going that that makes it at least sort of possible um there’s a lot of lava here which is great and that’s exactly what I want but uh certainly makes things a little bit more uh

Perilous oh and a slime I don’t love that also where am I going if I even if I do get down here I guess we can go off this way I’m just looking for blazes and I have a feeling I’m going to find fake blazes at some point cuz there’s some fake

Blazes where they’re like basically blazes but they’re like desert blazes and I don’t think desert blazes give you blaze rods so fat lot of good that does me hi buddy yeah I’ll be down there in a second we can we can have a little bit of fun uh

Can you not hang out too close to that our Pig friend there just so that um I don’t accidentally hit him all right now I’d love to have my step assist back on all right so success stairs success now I can get to this situation um I could also theoretically

With that lava make myself a new uh a new uh nether portal down there but I don’t know I I mean oh you know moving around in the Overworld is certainly easier than moving around in the nether but to some extent but I don’t know if that would help me a ton

We’re going to go this way what do we got here Prosperity ore boring coal anthracite coal hi would you would you care to rumble hi pardon me need a little bit of little bit of little room here Kabam come on sir please stop drop your goodies and by goodies I mean your

Friends yourselves drop all of yourselves magma creams no what are you what are these all fire Shard boring okay uh BK oh I missed okay well I mean we’re here oh gosh that’s lava be careful hello what was that is that a fake Blaze ah this is

Going to be a fake Blaze isn’t it maybe it’ll be a real Blaze whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa I need a shield what am I doing here without a shield I have a shield oh you are angry and mad and rude and do I have a shield I do have a shield oh

Boy good good good good good why was I on fire oh cuz you snuck around Shifty I’m not going to be able to get you from there why don’t you oh wow okay uh why don’t you come okay I’m going to go deal with with your friend this gentleman ow

Ow ow hi stop that does just say blaze uh I got none why what that what happened did I get I got I got blazed again from where from where I don’t see a blaze what happened what is happening who’s attacking me was it you you didn’t set me on fire what

Happened okay uh that’s that sounds like someone who who’s angry at my existence I know I know I know we yourself what I don’t even know you leave me alone blue Netherrack that’s weird all right yeah yeah well I don’t know what to tell you

Man like we didn’t have to do this I didn’t want to be part of this I didn’t ask for this all right well we can blazes blazes do appear to spawn at least periodically in this biome the Crimson Gardens but there just a lot of lava around and there’s piglins which whoa

Which I’m not like a huge fan of I could get some gold perhaps and make my life a little bit easier on that front but oh man there is too much lava around for all this I don’t care that lady David is awoken stop that what’s this now is this more of

This just kidding not a fortress hey hey you stop diamond boots epic oh come on be closer to me will you you’re like no that’s a you’re in a different County oh no help okay there’s actually oh infested I don’t care about that oh stop stop stop

Stop stop oh gosh oh no oh no oh no I’m in a pickle I’m in a real real pickle here [Laughter] gang get out of here this place is terrifying okay anyway little bit of a little bit of a terrible terrible place to wrap this up

But what can we do um I think this is going to have to do it for this episode when I come back we will try to extricate ourselves from the nether uh maybe actually get a Blaze Rod or two I need four honestly actually I need eight

Really to make to make what I want to happen half so um hopefully we can find a better source of blazes this place is awful there’s just lava every old wear so maybe we can get this is not what I wanted maybe we can cuz I hate this map

This is not what I want I want this map I don’t I don’t love this map either but um I don’t know maybe we can find maybe we can find a a better source of blazes maybe we can find a fortress who knows but we’ll find out will I make it out
