Oh snappers well here we are ladies and gentlemen the 1.17 cave update snapshot with the brand new cave generation you know what i figured it would be a nice idea to give minecraft hardcore a go with the brand new cave generation so welcome to the first ever episode here Of minecraft hardcore and guys you know the drill by this point if you guys are excited for this brand new series then drop a series pretty darn often oh yeah you don’t want to miss it guys so let’s go into single player and let’s do this thing hardcore world let’s go ahead and put this on hardcore more world options there’s not even going to be a seed we’re doing this Completely random here guys let’s do create new world and let’s see what kind of cave generation stuffs we can find today see what kind of shenanigans we can get ourselves into see what kind of epic things we can find from the brand new update here guys i’m so excited So here we are spawning inside of a forest okay you know what i already am in love with this spawn i love a nice forest biome spawn i think it’s fantastic uh what else have we got around here we’ve got ourselves a nice old swamp We’ve got a dark oak forest okay so as to add a bit of a tally so far we’ve got three types of wood so far and they spawn oak dark oak birch all right what else do we have around here huh oh there’s a mountain biome okay so we Might be able to get some spruce up there that’s four types of wood i like i’m just counting the types of wood i have next to spawn i mean i like building in minecraft okay it’s just it’s just what i like to do the more resources i have next to spawn The happier i tend to be so yeah oh man this is so cool they bro this is so freaking cool all right and we have a look around this side and it’s just a whole bunch of lakes that’s kind of cool oh whoa what is going on here oh my god Uh yeah so that’s definitely part of the brand new cave generation there’s like magma blocks on the water there dude what the heck oh man this is cool all right well as always with any minecraft let’s play we have to start off by going ahead and punching some trees to death i Apologize trees but this is for the greater good the first ever tree that did give its life so that i might live i mean this tree is the absolute mvp and with that tree taking out the game what we could do ladies and gentlemen is make ourselves some nice Rudimentary tools and that is exactly what we’re gonna do we’re going to go ahead and sort of speed up the beginning of minecraft just a little bit uh by going ahead and upgrading ourselves immediately up to stone tools now in terms of my goals for today’s episode what i’d like To do is just sort of explore my world see what’s going on see what kind of gear i can make and well as a little bit of a stretch goal it could be kind of cool to see if we can find ourselves one of the brand new Caves with the brand new stone type grimstone that would be absolutely amazing my friends uh so yep there we are got ourselves a little bit of stone here and all we’re gonna do real quick is make ourselves a stone pickaxe and we’re gonna pretty much retire the wooden one straight away we’re gonna Pick up some more stone here make ourselves a full stone set of gear and then have a little bit of an explore see what kind of epic things we can find i feel like the easiest way we might be able to find ourselves any of the new caves is by Potentially finding ourselves a ravine on the surface right you know i feel like that would be the greatest chance of trying to find ourselves a new cave so let’s begin here with a sword uh we’ll go ahead and get ourselves an axe as well why am i not using the Freaking recipe bug am i stupid or something there we are yeah we work smart not hard there we go okay fantastic and with the remainder we can make ourselves a couple furnaces and if we were to take down this tree and use the logs we can make one of those into a smoker Yes yes so if we get ourselves food we can smelt it up super fast and we’ll be right back in the game so we’re going to try and get ourselves at least a couple of each of these saplings here uh the birch saplings the oak saplings And you know like i said we’ll have a bit of an explore try and get some dark oak saplings maybe some spruce ones as well and eventually what i’d like to do guys is make an underground base i mean it’s a cave update you know i can’t dangle a cave update in Front of you and not freaking explore the caves like who does that man i gotta say as well total side note i really love hearing the minecraft in-game music in game again and for those of you guys who don’t know what i mean by that what i usually do or What i used to do is put all the minecraft music in in post in editing right so i would always play a silent game pretty much but it’s nice it’s nice hearing the minecraft music in game again i thought about you guys but hearing the in-game music always reminds me of the Old days you know when i first started playing minecraft over 10 years ago ah it’s always a blast from the past for me guys so time to explore our world just a little bit it would be frankly amazing if we had ourselves a swamp hut next to our spawn here like how amazing Would that be being able to have a witch farm literally at world spawn that would be pretty freaking cool wouldn’t it huh all right well i mean i’m not seeing anything so far but it does appear that the swamp volume sort of continues way over that way Uh so it’ll be kind of cool to see what’s going on there in just a bit but for now we’re heading ourselves over into the dark oak forest because i want myself some dark oak saplings oh my god there’s a jungle over there oh my god dude this seed is incredible All right i’ll tell you what here you go ladies and gentlemen if you guys are interested in the seed i will put it down in the description of every single episode from this series if anybody asks what the seed is in the comments area just point them down to the description Because there it is guys real quick though guys i will say yes i’ve given you guys the seed but i would request that you do not head down to the comments area and let me know what is in this seed okay because honestly guys i really like just exploring my world Myself i don’t like to know where things are i like to be just as surprised as you guys are when it comes to exploring my world and seeing what there is you know what i’m saying so yeah like i say please don’t go ahead and spoil anything That is inside of this one i very much appreciate it oh thank goodness ladies and gentlemen there are some sheep over there i’m sorry budskies but every single one of you are gonna have to die because i need to be able to sleep because if i don’t sleep then i’m probably gonna perish I don’t wanna die not on the first episode that would be very very embarrassing wouldn’t it oh a village nice wow this sea truly does keep on giving and giving doesn’t it i’m absolutely astounded so far ladies and gentlemen that just how much epicness the seed has In terms of variety and just stuff that we might actually need you know what i’m saying all right guys well there we are we have ourselves a bunch of jungle saplings in fact the one that just dropped i think is the fourth one there we are so we can make ourselves at least One two by two jungle tree underground if we manage to find one of those ginormous caves where we might actually be able to do that uh so yeah all right cool that is now four out of six types of wood i don’t know why i’m so hell-bent on trying to Get all the types of wood but i am already well our food situation is looking a little bit dire so i’m gonna have to make myself just one bit of charcoal and that is going to allow me to cook these bad boys i mean the apples yeah they’re great But usually what i do with apples is just save them i usually save them so i can make myself golden apples way later down the line and i just came to the realization that i could have used the wooden pickaxe as the furnace fuel instead um i’m certainly not the brightest spark am I oh dude that looks cool so one of the things they did in one of the more recent snapshots it’s just literally randomly add vines everywhere in jungle biomes like even on this sort of little mound here look at the amount of vines just randomly sprawled across it You know it’s kind of cool isn’t it i kind of like that you know a little bit more greenery at the end of the day it is a freaking jungle it makes sense to have that stuff there so yeah that’s pretty cool hey guys you want to know something else cool about The 1.17 update the ore distribution has been totally totally overhauled and what that means in this particular example is that emerald ore which would typically generate underground actually can now generate on the surface and believe it or not it actually generates even more when you go way up high into the sky If there is terrain up there for example so it may be a cool idea for us to quickly explore this mountain biome and just see if we can find a little stray emerald ore i mean that’d be pretty cool wouldn’t it and there we have it ladies and gentlemen Four spruce saplings oh the sapling collection grows doesn’t it absolutely beautiful oh god you guys you guys know what i i have to do this i have to do this i have to oh i can’t resist it man i can’t resist that i have to do that oh absolutely fantastic suspended gravel Suspended sand you gotta topple it over man you gotta do it side note it’s pretty cool that we’ve got ourselves a gravelly mountains by him next to spawn as well just means that we’re able to get gravel for any eventual concrete builds that we may wind up doing just makes it a whole Bunch easier doesn’t it the only thing is it kind of uh i don’t know it may make getting a whoa whoa what is this look at this river dude wow that’s probably the most natural looking minecraft river i think i’ve ever seen oh that’s cool that’s cool i wonder if The new minecraft cave generation is under that ah see i told you you can find emerald or on the surface in mountain biomes now i mean let’s be honest there’s there’s way better ways of getting emeralds right selling to villages but still it’s just pretty cool isn’t it a nice little detail Unfortunately i don’t think no i can’t i can’t go ahead and mine it just yet because i need an iron pick and sadly i don’t have access to iron just yet whoa okay yes this is definitely new cave generation look how far down this goes dude Whoa there’s like iron down here oh dude i can imagine doing like an entire underwater caving session you know just get yourself a respiration aqua affinity helmet and or water breathing and you’re pretty good man you’ll be pretty good to go and do some underwater mining that sounds amazing what in the World what is all this about oh man that go whoa okay that is very very deep okay i may be able to have just a a quick little uh quick little nosy down there before i start drowning oh wow that got that goes way down dude i can’t get over that man How deep the freaking underwater caves are now that’s crazy i love it and there we are my fr what is going on with my arms okay weird day two is out of the way ladies and gentlemen and we are back in action and you know What i think we need to go to that village and see what’s going on because let’s be honest you guys noticed it i noticed it and for me to not explore it it’s kind of another case of like you know me dangling a village in front of you And me not exploring it it’s it’s not very good is it we need to go and check it out oh man all right well this is a pretty large village there’s an outpost over there as well oh god well that’s not very good is it oh boy Oh dear all right guys well we know what we need to do just the usual go ahead pillage everything see what they got on their chest see what kind of crops we can pick up everything we just need everything at the start this series you need everything so oh yeah look at That potatoes carrots and seeds to be able to have renewable food sources to this caliber is kind of amazing actually so yeah alright so we’re gonna do the usual we’ll go ahead and see what’s going on here we’ll pillage everything and pick up the workstation blocks and see what’s in the chests And basically just keep on going obviously pick up the hay barrels as well for bread actually now that i think about it maybe i should only pick up a certain selection of the workstation blocks because unfortunately i’ve got a little bit of a limited amount of inventory space going on here Uh i could probably save another inventory space by doing that uh and then yeah we just need to be pretty careful so we’ve got a brewing stand so we can make potions uh and well everything else is kind of uh if and when we need it kind of dealio i guess Uh so we’ve got beds you know what i’m gonna take a yellow bed i want a colored bed there we are and the white bed can go right back down they won’t even know what’s happened we’ll just assume that the color came out in the wash or something Oh nice a saddle hey dudes do you want to know why that’s so freaking epic because there’s like a little horse stable over here there it is look there’s multiple horses over there dude that’s so cool also there seems to be a bit of a death hole there Maybe that goes down to the new cave generation what are you two doing in here um okay well now they can never get out seriously we got these two dudes in here there’s like illegal floating grass i i don’t understand man this game is being very very peculiar today All right what do we got here a fletcher table i mean these are usually a pretty good early game way of getting emeralds because these guys have a stick trade you can literally just give them sticks and they give you an emerald maybe worth coming back here at Some point to pick that up uh but for now we’re still looking pretty good what what is actually going on that oh wow that goes way down i don’t see any other caves coming off of this though which is unfortunate oh god oh my god oh my god oh My god i just oh my god we just came out there i swear what yo dude a one block wide ravine oh man that is not cool boo boo that is not cool wow that is nuts look at that just oh my word an absolute death trap that is insane Oh we got to be careful of that kind of stuff man we’ve got to be real careful of that kind of stuff huh all right let’s see if we can i’ll get inside this house ideally without getting ruined stonecutter is definitely something i’m picking up because you know Builder and being able to make stone and stairs and slabs is great so yeah why not well once again though there doesn’t appear to be any other caves coming off of here so there’s no new cave generation just there uh so yeah anyways uh we are just about there i would say In terms of pillaging this place i’m gonna try and take myself one of these horses we’ll see which one’s best in terms of its speed i like how there’s just a couple of pigs in here as well okay it’s a mixed species pen all right which one of you guys is going To be the fastest let’s find out come on darn it love me there we are all right whoa whoa whoa hello hang on a minute oh you can barely jump though whoa super mixed speedy pants okay fantastic this is actually fantastic have you seen the amount of crop seeds We’ve got now pumpkin melon beetroot wheat potatoes carrots cocoa beans like is is the other actually any other crops like i’m pretty sure i’ve got all of them i mean well probably not but still there’s rather a lot going on i’m sure you guys would agree So what do you guys think okay shall we try to get ourselves into one of those amazing big caves should that be our episode in golf we try and find one of those bad boys it does mean that we’re probably going to have to dig down Rather a long way but i don’t really mind too much about that i really really don’t it just means that we’ll get ourselves a bunch of stone on the way as well all right so i’ll tell you what do we have the ability to put you in Anywhere if i tell you what you can go in amongst the villagers here uh if you can that is uh if i was to get rid of that there we go enjoy yourself super mcspeedy so we’re gonna do this real nice and simple like ladies and Gentlemen we are simply going to dig out a little bit of a staircase okay i’ve kind of claimed this little church as my own uh oh uh buddy buddy this is my house you need to leave bye-bye son of a gun scram get out of here there we are My house so here we are guys digging ourselves all the way down to not why zero but why negative 64. well that’s on the basis that we don’t find something beforehand that is uh but yeah that’s the that’s the plan right now ladies and gentlemen So once you get down to y0 you can start finding this brand new stone called grimstone now it is reported that grimstone has a slightly higher toughness uh value than stone does so apparently takes a little bit longer to break and also you can’t insta mine it even with haste two efficiency five Netherlight or diamond pickaxes so just something to bear in mind i guess going forward but hey ho i just want to find it man i want to find it i want to have a look at it oh yeah and also yeah we should totally pick up these Laws because we don’t have a shield and shields would be very very good to increase our ability to survive in this world yeah that’d be great wouldn’t it with the iron smelted ladies and gentlemen we can now make ourselves a shield an upgraded sword and an upgraded Pickaxe we’re still going to use the stone ones just to dig up the stone but if in when it comes to digging up any awls then we can use the iron pickaxe for example if we find diamonds so yeah i think that’s a good idea All right so in you go and we are going to continue on what i think might be a good idea though thinking about it is if we were to go ahead and save all these villages i mean at the end of the day this seems to be a little bit of a Base area of ours now we’ve sort of claimed this village for now uh until we managed to build ourselves an underground base that is so i think it would be a good idea and certainly in our best interests if we were to save the villagers and the Best way of doing that is just to wait until it’s nighttime when they all go inside their houses and then away we go we can pretty easily save them all just block it off with cobblestone and i’ll never be able to get out but likewise the zombies will Never be able to get in oh hey there buddy okay well we’ve actually found a cave this leads literally directly into a cave ah all right well it does appear to be sort of the old-fashioned minecraft cave generation uh so i guess we’re just gonna keep on digging down Until we find something amazing because well this kind of isn’t that amazing all right come on ladies and gentlemen in to your houses goodbye go on it’s starting to become nighttime i need to get you all in your houses and try to save you in some capacity uh i i sure hope that I’m able to save all of them that’ll be pretty cool right all right so let’s start off with this guy for example indiegogo all right and then we just there we are cool all right and this guy come on find yourself somewhere to go all right so you got that place You stupid seriously seriously what is wrong with these guys yes see all of these guys are in bed so they’re not gonna move around and therefore it means that i can go ahead and save these guys a little bit easier uh right is there anyone inside this house uh yes there is Okay right let’s get rid of that so we can’t get out but likewise no one can get in ha when the village is so big they’ve actually got two iron golems guarding it okay that’s kind of cool so in terms of these two as long as i have torches here and as Long as these fences are here i don’t think these guys are going to get ruined i don’t think so anyway i sure hope that i’m right uh okay right let’s go ahead and get rid of this door oh well this isn’t terrifying or anything oh god okay oh goodness okay please Don’t die come on iron gollum definitely gonna need your help here broski oh god there’s a whole bunch of stuff going on right now okay right yeah you you take out those guys i’ll i’ll take on and get rid of the little creeper pothole get out of here all right guys well i Think that that is just about everybody cool all right well i am gonna go ahead and get inside of my base there we are and we’re gonna have ourselves a little bit of a snooze before getting back down to the staircase and i can’t oh no now i could go to sleep Thanks iron golem and here we are at y11 which used to be the ideal level to try and mine diamonds at but no no we’re gonna keep going down we’re going to keep going down and down and down and down and down oh hey oh my gosh i wasn’t actually Expecting to find one yo i can see it guys i can see the new grimstone the only issue is we have no safe way of getting down if we go down there death is all but a certainty all right well the good news is we do still have the little cave system up Here which did have a little bit of iron in it so if i was to go ahead and grab it oh wow okay there’s loads of it may even be able to make armor yeah decided to make myself a little bit of a mini station down here got a couple of Furnaces smelting iron we had i think it was 19 so we’re gonna wind up with well a lot and three of that’s gonna go towards a bucket which means we’ve got 16 left eight of that could go towards a chess play and then seven towards trousers because those two combined Pretty much take up the majority of the armor value the total armor value that iron armor gives you so yeah pretty cool right there we are chess play and leggings nice look at that we’ve already got five and a half little armor suit things on the bar down there once The advancement goes away that is see look at that out of the seven and a half armor points that it would usually give you if it was full you still get five and a half just by having these two bits alone which is way more than half the complete armor set so yeah Anyways here we are ladies and gentlemen we are going to place this down and we’re going to keep it down just so we’re actually able to get back up and oh my god oh it’s the brand new caves guys whoa i mean i’ll do my best To try and light this sucker up but look at this we are defying the laws of old minecraft we are y minus eight that is crazy we would be in the void right now if this was 1.16 and prior very nice very very nice man absolutely fantastic absolutely fantastic if this room is Super tall as well we could totally grow two by two trees in here you know it’s freaking awesome i absolutely adore the new cave generation guys but yeah this was just scratching the surface of the new cave generation ladies and gentlemen we haven’t even taken a look at the new All distribution aside from the emeralds at the surface so i’m very very excited to show you guys just how easy it is to find diamond ore now once you get below y zero oh boy they start coming in thick and fast the diamonds so guys that is going to wrap it up for Today’s very very first episode here of
