EPIC Ocean Monument Assault! Minecraft 1.17

Hello everyone I’m B Cal corn and this is episode 138 of Hardcore the original series it’s got a little bit of mining fatigue right now from all the uh the noise you hear uh over to the side there big old ocean Monument there we’ve been

Uh going at it with the old uh well the actually the new Trident and the old sword uh getting some shards and crystals and uh building ourselves up a conduit brought the conduit along and a few other materials and got to start on that uh Gathering the materials as we go

So we’re going to get back to it build that conduit up the full strength and then uh see if we can tackle the monument so let’s get to it first thing though we want to cover up this thing just in case uh the old Trident goes

Astray uh so let’s see what do we have got a chunk of dirt we could just toss in here Um yeah we’ll start uh just popping stuff down down in there I guess uh let’s see I guess I could use some planks oh would those get burnt up by the lava though that’s the question maybe I should use Stone instead we’ll just fill in at this level

Just get everything nice and filled over covered over okay I think uh yeah we still got little more over here okay I’m going to stand on the stone okay just wanted to make sure uh there wasn’t any like uh unstable sand around here I’m going to go ahead and fill it

In there as well just to get things up to a a level where I can easily walk out okay I think I don’t want to get stuck in here either all right I think that’s about got it good enough for uh for our purposes anyway all right

And insurance wasn’t quite having it so going to be trying that again later this weekend oh you know what I’m like running up there to make that block and I don’t really have to cuz that is a 2 by two recipe I can just make it right here in my

Here um pop one in there and there and there there down there as well Here There and Everywhere all right I’m kind of scared to put these on Sand now anyway point being I want to have stuff spawning down here namely the Guardians and not so much zombies and stuff at night okay

Where my Guardians at there was a bunch of them last time around where are they all going to I just getting all fish now come on now that a little better oh come on come on guys ah there’s a a lot of them at least I can only hit one

Crystals and make lots and lots of sea lanterns that was spooky where are you they not not going necessarily going after me when you hear that what do I get just nothing a lot of nothing have I was hoping that holding uh The Sword in my off hand here would

Uh would apply the Looting I’m not certain it is come here you there we go that was a decent shot I think and that didn’t get oh you right in your face get anything from yeah oh okay got out of range pop off the air just to just to be

Uh sponges and stuff like that you want to collect whatever crystals and shards I got coming my way all right and I’m going to hold this in hand for the moment all right at this point I just want collect junk and then find my way out woo man just go through the gauntlet

Here holy cow look at them all that is a target-rich environment they just all been accumulating over here I think ah dang it come on now like how am I missing there’s so many got to wash my health oh you ah I should check my armor it seems like they shouldn’t be

Hurting me this much where are you what have I got uh fire protection 3 why do I have fire protection three on my helmet four protection four protction four why do I have fire protection on my helmet maybe I need to redo my helmet think that’s why I’m been getting

Uh that’s right you need five of the crystals for that and I got so much raw fish here probably make uh a thing to cook some but uh not just right now all right we just got a few more minutes to go on this session and we

Are accumulating more of the uh sea lnns now where you think you’re going all right you ganging up on me huh I see how it is I think next session may have to work on uh rebuilding this helmet cuz uh fire protection really isn’t what I want for it

Not exactly sure how I ended up with that the fire protection should be for a gold helmet to go into The Nether not for my uh General walking around helmet we got five crystals so we got enough for one more ah oh on now course nothing are

You man they just dropped so much fish so much fish from these guys but yeah I think I’ve had the proper helmet I could probably hold my own a bit better with these guys wouldn’t have to stop to eat so much ah and I could collect a lot more it’s just all fish

Ah got away huh I’ll take these yeah see now I’m not getting as many of the crystals how does that work how exactly does that work all right him what do I get more shards okay I’m going to run down here real quick cuz I want to

See what I can get out of this geode just real quick like let’s see so should be able and I’m going to have some uh yeah just drop right down to the surface of it we’ll put some torches in here okay so did I get a oh let get you coming in here

All right well okay they might be kind of following me in here let’s see I need these look fully mostly fully grown so I should be able to get some stuff out it I’m going to get the uh use the fortune ones on it okay get the uh fully grown ones all

Right get me uh a number of crystals out of this I where where they go oh over there wow got a bunch of them already what does that get me up to a whole stack and and then some uh that’s almost a stack and a half are these uh fully grown this one

Looks like it okay 28 32 44 think that looks grown 56 yeah this is pretty good all right I’m going to use this guy and I’m going To bust around there in order to let that one grow more stuff over here as well oh You huh all right Also there and there just basically to maximize growth potential of these guys that was interesting you don’t hear him too to often on land all right so we have officially gone over time here so uh that’s going to be it for now for now uh

I was not expecting to end this one in the Geo especially with a crystal growing right behind me uh we’ve got lots of crystals from it uh so we will see what more we can get out of it we got a fair number of shards and uh and

The prismarine crystals as well um that’s really the main thing is making the uh what you call it the um sea lanterns that was our primary goal uh but we’ve also got uh this lovely geode and we’re going to get a bunch of these amethyst crystals out of it make us some

Tinted glass so that we can see the inside of the creeper Farm a bit better I’d like to make sort of an observation uh area around it so we can watch things go although when you’re that close to it probably not going to be producing but it’d be interesting all the same anyway
