Vanilla that is we’re gonna slay the dragon hopefully we’re gonna get a light chop we’re gonna get the vault alter set up and craft our first crystal well hopefully first though we’re gonna sleep that’s better now as you can see in between episodes i have grinded down my Wheat traded with the boys and enchanted up my gear i chose to put smite five on the axe because the vault contains mostly undead mobs early game and looting 3 sharpness on my sword because looting is great and we’re gonna need some ender pearls all in all shiny boy Now before we begin i want to take this opportunity and send out a massive thank you thank you [Applause] there was so many fantastic comments on episode one and i’m so excited to see that so many of you are going to try out walt hunters yourself now there was one Thing that i saw in the comments that people were wondering and i guess i didn’t address at all why is your terrain vanilla well i did a pre-generation of my world and when i say i did i mean scolded it my my admin of my community Because i don’t know how to do that myself so here’s the thing i really like vanilla terrain and modded terrain but i like the idea of modded terrain being something that i unlock later so therefore in my world 15 000 blocks are pre-generated with with vanilla terrain and after that Way out here in the in the darkness on my map modded terrain now unfortunately to pre-gen the world yourself is rather difficult so therefore down in the description i have put a world download of my world with the pre-generated vanilla terrain and then the modded Terrain and if you want to play on the same world that i do or if you want to play with this with this type of setting then go ahead and download it and start your world from that world i guess i should have said that in the first Episode anyway as i was saying today we’re beating the game and it all starts with you don’t be sad i may be needing you later nice now remember even though we’re in diamond gear now it’s still very much paper armor just a fancier color But here we go oh no not one of these biomes oh why is it always this biome all right first things first i’m going to put a waypoint down here by pressing b home sweet fort nice oh i should have had some gold gear i should have some gold Gear on just a moment save fort boots are like the worst thing i’m gonna make a hat i’m gonna spend one more and make a hat because i want my feather falling luckily they have the same armor as my diamond hat here we go again i wonder if i can use The map to sort of oh yes this is what i need well one of the things i need i also need another fortress of which i don’t see any but i guess i’m heading this way oh you know what this is a great way to get experience Hello there ouch ah i forgot blocks this is going great take three now actually i think this may be a good time to use up our last unspent skill point i should say that once we start getting into the vaults we’ll get vault levels and therefore get more skill points but It is it is limiting for right now and there are a lot of good choices speed would be really nice for that extra movement haste cost 2 we can take that an extra heart would be nice we could double the efficiency of my dear vane miner cleanse is also a very good Ability you can remove any negative effects affecting the player every 10 seconds make a jump is fun launch yourself high up in the sky with a mega jump 10 blocks up but i think i’m gonna go with perhaps my favorite ability involved hunters dash dash in the direction the player is Facing can also be used in combination within a light drop so with this you don’t really need rockets on level one the cooldown is 10 seconds and the dash power is one boom now dash is one of those abilities that you can directly bind to hotkey options controls dash Mine is born to x so whenever i click x boom i dash forward ah pigs i don’t like them i don’t like them i’ll build a safe bridge to get away now dash is most likely going to be one of my most used abilities and to begin with It’s not very far it dashes you but it would be very handy trust me more of the blue forest oh i forgot about this there’s gold in the nether now oops in miner thank you are we there yet nope i think that should do it i’m just gonna make a Safe staircase into this area aha this place is extremely quiet i don’t see a single enderman what aha hello nice we got one pearl it’s begun Oh 18. that should do it next up nether fortress i think i found one right next to me oh i am blind i’ve been looking at this thing and i did not realize that that was it aha ouch stupid lace oh this looks weird this is A bit scary but that is a place warner and that is what i need at least i think it’s a blaze warner this is actually not too bad i got 14 rods makeshift lace farm i love my bow it’s great 25 i definitely have more than i need for the end portal so bookmark makeshift blaze farm of doom and time to head home hello there Oh my ball is just too good too good dash yeah if you’re like me a trident fan then dash is your friend home sweet fort i’ll say that was a success you will know something not very useful but very cool you can place down blaze rods in this mod pack can’t make a Blaze prison pick it because you could you can walk through them but i do believe that they emit light pretty cool that’s actually a healthy amount of gold i’m gonna make 16 eyes of ender and hope that we get lucky it’s time let’s beat the game we’re gonna need some blocks my Seven obsidian beds yes that’s how the pros do it and to be honest i’ve never tried to deal damage to the dragon with beds but i’ll give it a go and maybe most importantly water and aha please don’t break please don’t break thank you oh with a bed i am pro now take that 71 levels nice ah peace yup you’re coming with me oh and this is the stuff i need to make shields it looks like fancy quartz but the real reason we are here Is this you see in order to make the volt altar which we need to make to make crystals to enter the vault dimension we need purple blocks so outer end here i come well first of all i have to build an architecturally correct staircase made out of cobblestone it’s perfect Wow that was quite lucky i think i’m gonna make a waypoint way out grab some of these no no no where’s my bucket i did not look at this man ah stare at this modded edition for a while um it’s an egg unfortunately though it’s a Solid egg but these blocks are cool maya light completely useless egg unfortunately no end city on the map i’m gonna go this way ah that’s the closest bit of land well sometimes you just gonna reach egg what is that oh no no no no no no as i was saying Whoo dusky my lights completely useless but it looks pretty still nothing bridge egg and man bridge fancy things waystone unfortunately i can’t use it until i research waystones because again remember that in order to use and craft some of the mods you need to unlock their research and waystones is Only one knowledge star i can however pick it up and hoard it and these are not super cheap to make in this pack in fact they’re very expensive so that’s a great find guess what time it is bridge time ah that was a pointless bridge hmm Not a chunk error this is gonna be an advanced bridge yes so what is this stuff void stone finding an end city is not necessarily a fully trivial task this is ridiculous do i even bust bro spike i’m out of blocks it’s been an hour in the end now Oh dear it’s more than double the length of this entire episode where where are my end cities on the plus side i’ve become pretty good at building bridges oh please be a big boy please contain a ship don’t be one of those silly towers yes any ships oh yes oh I am so happy right now that’s a bit of a distance though isn’t it i wouldn’t hurt getting a few shulker boxes as well i’m very used to getting double shulker shells from every single one as we’ve had that on hermitcraft there we go that’s one shulker box worth wait why do These have armor value and knockback resistance what they’re actually hats i did not know this that looks ridiculous and totally awesome say that that is something you can do vanilla although i don’t think it is anyway i do need some of this stuff and it wouldn’t hurt getting another few shulker boxes Oh these are fancy mmm gold oh if only i had silk touch i am however going to put some of my valuables in here and i guess it’s 8th obsidian it’s actually definitely worth looting the entire end city now that i think about it haha busted i’m beating you mambo mambo mambo Sorry i got a bit carried away ah yes the the loot is amazing that’s the last of the shulkers in the main castle i think now time for the boat this could actually be pretty bad good thing i’m a bridge expert now no that’s valuable oh yes i have arrived we meet again In all seriousness dragon heads are used in wall hunters so if you do find one of these make sure you collect the head oh this is a huge find two health potions we’ll get into why later please give me a shulker shell so i have ten yes brilliant aha chest one Stasis uh shovel i’ll take a shovel this was better curse of vanishing diamond i guess i could yeah i could i could remove the enchantments honestly not a bad chest plate and a decent sword but most importantly give me those yes i do realize they do not last forever without unbreaking but Your boy is flying and remember dash yes i can’t wait to get out of the end there was a time when i was a bridger and now i am a flyer and oh dang it a little bit anti-climatic but we’ll get there home sweet end of minecraft fort Oh all right no i’m still right i’m still here actually before i leave it could be valuable to put a waypoint here the end portal the best way home would probably be to put up a nether portal big brain hello i guess we’ll put up another waypoint here the end portal and Actually i’m not too far away from home 212 blocks of course it had to be through one of these lovely biomes though pigs i do not want to lose my 71 levels so now home sweet fort oh it’s good to be back guess what i’ve done Ah ah i have become a dragon bro no it was quite simple yes yes i made sure to eat properly now i haven’t brought you any presents the end is literally like a desert it’s super boring there i am tired so demanding and i guess one of the first things i have To do is create one of these so that i can access yes some of the stuff that i brought home and i’m not going to lie the biggest find in these travels was not the diamonds not the shulker shells not the extra ender pearls not even the diamond leggings it’s probably these two Health potions you see the thing is there’s no natural health regeneration inside a vault now later we’ll be able to get fancy gear that can give us life leech and regeneration but right now we have to relay rely rely yes i english rely on health potions and remember how I’ve kept going on about gold you see the way you brew a health potion is not with a glistering melon because that would be way too easy and ridiculously simple no you need a golden apple apple gold however this is not how you make a golden apple In vault hunters this is how you make a golden apple involved hunters and so far i have managed to collect a little over a stack of gold and even though this is modded the technology of ore doubling which is so common in every modpack is not yet available to us long Story short health potions are extremely valuable gold is extraordinarily valuable and we’re gonna need more of it but before we get ahead of ourselves it’s time we craft up the vault altar and luckily those two diamonds that i picked up actually made it so that i Have exactly nine this is a huge moment because this is where it all begins you you you and obsidian there it is there it is it’s beautiful i shall place it down here huh huh well it doesn’t actually do anything on its own see we need to put a rock in the Middle and infuse that rock with items and then we get a vault crystal aha no no no it’s not it’s not that simple we need something called a vault rock this thing and voltrox can be mined deep down below why level 5 to 11 to be exact oh And they are rarer than diamonds the good thing is though fortune works time to get digging and i forgot torches and i’m out of wood all set this is certainly where an extra level in vain miner would have been very beneficial yes there it is the texture is quite Hidden and not always super easy to spot there is one trick however they do glow ever so slightly so if you don’t light an area up you can spot them that way anyway let’s hope for at least two yes three oh wait a minute aha i spotted it from the glowiness Oh just one that’s all i need for now though because every one of these is an access key to the vault put some more gold on the fire compress my redstone down compress my cobblestone down yes that’s totally a thing compressed cobblestone and granite gravel underside Bird poop etc etc this is a huge moment and for those of you who’ve never seen walt hunters before this is where it all begins funny story in my last episode i got a few comments saying that the easy villager mod and the twerking was Almost as if i was cheating as in it made the game way too easy and i may just as well playing creative i got news for you getting a bit of wheat and picking up villagers is not the goal of the game you see when I put my voltrok down on the altar we will be presented with a random recipe four different items that it needs in order to become a vault crystal and as i said the crystal is what you use to get into the vaults now the thing is this Recipe is random every time you get different things and the more crystals you craft the harder the recipe becomes and we could get extremely unlucky and get something extremely difficult here or we could get super lucky and get something very simple there’s only one way to find out here goes First of all we actually got a lucky alter that means that it requires less resources than ordinary and that’s why we got the green ding not too bad even though turtle eggs is a little bit of a pain as we progress through this mod pack we’re gonna see things like 15 000 ink sacks a hundred thousand dirt 7636 redstone to be precise this corner however will always contain a rare item and the idea of walt hunters is to enable you to build mega farms to handle all of the resources that you need to make your crystals and if you’re ever Confused with what these items are you can always shift and it will tell you ink sac redstone dust third leg and dirt now in order to complete the recipe all we have to do is grab the resources it asks for currently i only have dirt and redstone out of those resources and Simply throw them in you can also do this through a hopper or later an exporter from mods and there it is a half completed vault crystal let’s get the ink sack squid hello hello did he spawn i think it is behind it he spawned when i dashed hello there and Aha i just realized something in order to get the turtle egg i’m pretty sure i need a silk touch pickaxe is this your way of punishing me for not selecting the silk touch trade dear villagers well i guess there’s only one thing to do hmm We seem to have a little bit of an issue with space good sirs i guess we’ll have to try and make do with what we have it’s brilliant hello there please be nice [Applause] hmm i guess we’ll take it this pickaxe will literally just have silk touch as a statement I guess since i need to find a beach i should probably enchant my elijah with mending and i’m breaking his cows wings now i may not have rockets but i have dash although the cooldown as in the time in between i can spend it again or use it Again is quite high at the moment but it should be enough to use my life properly nice turtles hmm ooh shipwreck hmm did you know that there’s a trick to treasure hunting i don’t really know what the trick is but there is a trick To it i think it has to do with the center of the chunk yeah nice oh this is actually great part of the sea is one of the items that can appear in the vault altar so we definitely need to hoard that anyway back to hunting turtles this area up here looks quite Promising it is a bit of a travel turtles it looked better on the map oh this island looks promising where am i oh yes hello right i gotta remember how to do this this stuff and you and you yes do the thing [Laughter] i wonder how they decide who gets to dig Did it happen yes uh hello there no judgment oh One and i’ll grab another one too thank you turtles no more digging thank you time to complete my first volt crystal eliters are great and Boom nice well it’s not gonna just magically turn into a vault crystal of course there’s one more thing you need to do and button There it is our very first vault crystal the type is normal and the objective is unknown that is how every single volt crystal will look for you until you hit level 25 where the type can turn into cooperative but more about that later you can now see that i’ve crafted One crystal as i said every time i craft one the recipe becomes ever so slightly more expensive and the recipe you remember yep totally random which makes me want to put down a new one just to see what we get bamboo oh that’s that could be a little bit tough so we Have snow block iron ingot poisonous potato and bamboo i don’t know if i have come across any jungles i don’t think oh there’s there’s the mansion i went to i don’t think so now luckily we don’t need to complete this recipe yet because we have our first crystal and we could in theory Run a vault however we still have some things to do and this is a perfect cliffhanger next episode we’ll go into this vault that should also give me time to mine out some more gold so that we can make at least one golden apple which translates into three healing potions Actually we have enough gold for that see what did i tell you gotta worship that gold i have to go back to the nether though because i do need netherwart i completely completely forgot about that not gonna lie i’m very excited to enter this vault but like i said cliffhagger so i really Do hope that you have enjoyed this episode if
