Hey guys Wells Knight here and welcome back to another episode of hermitcraft plays Vault Hunters hope you guys are having an awesome day I’m having a fantastic day sorry for the uh lack of videos over the last week I’ve had unexpected guests at my house but we

Should be good to go now moving forward uh so last episode we got our first uh couple of Vault crystals and I think I want to start off by just running a vault uh right off the bat someone already has a vault portal set up over

Here um now I wish I had some healing potions to take in with me but I don’t so it’s fine we’re just going to go in and see what happens um we don’t know what the modifiers in the vault are we don’t know what we’re going to find but

It should be a pretty easy Vault cuz we’re only Vault level like Vault Hunter level three or whatever uh so it should be fine uh okay so we need to find the monoliths and we just want to kind of keep tabs on where we are so

So I guess we’ll just go for it and see what we come across uh we’re looking for three monoliths I think what I’m going to do is basically just go in a straight line um because that’ll make it really easy to find our way back uh which would be this way here we

Go um cuz once we find the monoliths obviously we have to get back out of the uh the vault as well and obviously we’re going to keep our eyes out for any chests treasure any of that kind of good stuff while we’re here um I’m just going

To try and grab like the easy stuff because the thing is without healing uh we want to we want to be fairly careful uh since you know if you can’t heal uh that presents a problem if you take any damage whatsoever uh bad things happen also I like how it seems like pretty

Much all the vaults are now sort of of themed where each Vault has an individual theme rather than the rooms uh cuz it used to be that the room would be like the themed bit uh okay there’s a monster spawner um and there is a chest down there can

Yeah you can kind of get to me we’re we got plenty of time though we have like 25 minutes to find three monoliths so we should be okay and we’re just going to grab like all the things I don’t know what half of these do but it’s okay what I’d really like to

Find would be some actual like Vault gear this stuff is all great don’t get me wrong uh also any more any shulker shells we can find will also be very very useful oh I’m poisoned why am I am I poisoned okay we got mushroom guys oh hi okay let’s just grab the

Stuff oh there’s okay and now I’m okay yeah this is bad we’re we’re like okay uh I think We have looted basically all of that stuff we’re just going to keep moving uh we need to get out of here because did I already get this one

No I think yeah I did get that one though okay yeah so we’re down to two hearts this is kind of what I mean like and we don’t have a way to heal so you like you have to be so careful grab that there’s one monolith and we’re just going to keep

Moving if we can keep moving and the guys can’t catch us then we’ll be okay that’s the plan I can afford to take like maybe one hit and that’s about it so and like any fall damage would also just straight up kill me so we got to be

Real careful on like these Bridges and stuff too but if I can just find the three monoliths and get out I’m going to be super super happy with that I think like there’s a skill that heals you and I’m feeling like that is probably the next skill we should get because with

The vaults like this where there’s basically no enemies um like that would be huge oh there’s another monolith o how do I get there without getting hurt can I go around this way yes okay oh that just straight up heals you oh that’s so good oh that’s so good okay uh fantastic uh

Um we got more mushroomy guys okay let’s take all the things oh you can get healing in the vaults without potions now that’s so good okay I’m actually really really happy about that how we doing on time we’ve got 18 minutes left and there’s our last monolith okay fan

Fantastic so that is all of the monoliths uh so now it’s just grab loot that that’s all we need to do is just grab as much loot as we can carry and then you know get out of here uh okay that’s a lot of dudes um try to push the slimes

Away it looks like they create like poison clouds that’s probably what was poisoning me earlier and if I can just keep them like down there we should be okay oh I’m I’m poisoned again okay it’s fine oh there goes my sword we’re also getting all these little like soul cards and stuff which

Is really nice I do hope that the poison disperses after like a short amount of time it okay so there’s all the little slimes gone so slimes drop poison that that’s uh a little scary but it’s fine okay looks like the Poison’s all dispersed so there should be what did

You spawn a killer Turtle okay that’s that’s perfectly acceptable um let’s get all the things Vault Diamond that’s useful ooh this is a really good treasure room but also a potentially very dangerous one um I don’t have any blocks so here’s what we’re going to do

We’re just going to mine a bunch of cobblestone and then we are going to try and go down there and hope for the best because this room I believe is one of the like super good treasure rooms or whatever that should be enough uh man let’s go for

It and then what we’re going to do is immediately start pillaring up anything are you not going to open I open please is that not a thing anymore does it not just automatic okay well it doesn’t want to open for me so never mind the most important thing is to get

Out of here in one piece um so yeah I think that’s what we should probably do is just focus on leaving just quit while you’re ahead right now we’ve completed the Vault we got some loot like we shouldn’t stick around here longer than we need to again Village room potentially really good

Um we’re looking for chests here here and there are pretty what what is this I don’t know what that is uh I’m just going to leave it alone for the moment and then there is down below like an Enderman uh or or like a an end City stronghold type

Deal uh where you can find good stuff but again just I’m going to air on the side of caution play it safe uh because that again that’s pretty dangerous and our current situation healthwise it’s not great so let’s just let’s just you know be careful this

Should be the portal room like right up here yep I see it okay Fantastic look at that we have completed our first Vault uh by ourselves anyway uh and we managed to complete the objective we got a bunch of good stuff uh we’re going to go ahead

And claim our rewards we get a monolith crate which is going to have all sorts of useful goodies in it let’s go find our chests uh right over here I think is US yep good good good so shift right click that we get a whole bunch of goodies and perhaps very

Importantly we got oh we got a volt sword okay that’s actually super good uh so let’s go ahead and roll these and just see what we get and we got two more levels which is also super good uh so we have a vault sword this is uh

Nine attack damage compared to six on our regular sword uh and also a little bit better attack speed has good durability does nether damage I don’t I don’t know what nether damage is but sure um and then let’s do this as well and just try to put you

Know combined as much of this stuff as we can we’ll take those out uh and we also got got a mystery box which should just be oh hey look at that we actually got diamonds from it that’s pretty useful uh for where we are in the

Game right now uh but then we also got some crafting ingredients we got some knowledge Essence rotten meat uh we did get enough for another shulker box which is awesome so let’s go ahead and just make a chest and there we go we now have two shulker boxes uh which is wonderful okay

So fantastic we have our first Vault done and now that we have two more levels we can get some more stuff and I think heal is honestly going to be the way to go um I don’t know if your Mana regenerates automatically over time but

I do want to take that um just so we have some way to heal in a vault as we’re like wandering around and not not really doing much and then I think we may just want to go strength again actually no we should go with uh where’s

Dash this ability really lets you get out Mega Jump up into the air I think where’s Dash right here propels you in the distance you’re facing cost seven Mana oh it only moves you one block is that right it says distance one is that like not nearly as good as it used to

Be uh Mega Jump will let us jump up very very high that’s probably what we’re actually looking for just to help us get around uh vaults and stuff a bit easier stonefall reduces pH fall damage okay could also just go heal again so we have a better heal an aura of movement

Speed Rampage there’s so many new abilities that like I like them this is really cool uh increases your ability power haste actually would be really good just to always have haste movement speed would also be really good just to be able to move around faster in the

Vaults um yeah let’s let’s go oh I can’t it costs four okay fair uh all right let’s just get haste we will always have haste one that could be real good uh but we got a vault sword which is great uh so now what I need to do is offload all of

This stuff into chests uh and then we might be able to just run a second Vault I also noticed we actually have an unspent expertise point and I was looking through these this is the expertise stuff I think this is the way to go fortunate um gives passive Fortune

Levels that are applied whenever use a fortune tool to break blocks so basically just gives you extra Fortune that’s going to be really good for us in the early game uh and later on too once we actually get like a fortune 3 that’ll essentially give us like fortune five so

That’ll make it a lot easier to get resources and then also when we’re mining Vault uh ore that will also be super good so yeah good stuff okay armed with new knowledge I think we’re ready to try another Vault I do have uh I’m I’m going to take the shield with me I

Don’t really use Shields honestly but there’s no reason not to because we don’t really have anything else to put in our off hand so might as well go with it we do have the second Vault Crystal so let’s just go ahead and jump in and

See if this Vault will be as easy as the last one so we got beginner’s Grace and beginners Insurance again very good that’ll make the Vault very very easy for us uh and now we actually do have a vault VA sword so our damage output will be a little bit better than

Before uh certainly better than an iron sword that’s for sure and we need to find only two monoliths that seems really doable uh okay let’s let’s make a note of stuff here so uh am I already lost that’s all right we’ll poke around this room a little bit we’ll just look

And see what’s here uh there’s a healing Crystal up there that’s good to know okay we get enemies wow we just straight up one shot one of those uh that’s pretty good take all the things uh we have yet to find any like Vault gear inside the vaults but that’s all right

All right more enemies down here o skelet uh skeletons are actually kind of scary cuz I don’t really have a good way to deal with range stuff at the moment but that’s fine what are these Vault sweets Soul value one hey there’s an obelisk I am hearing

Enemies these give you Vault coins ooh hello is this Vault iron that is totally Vault iron I think we came from there no that’s not right we were going left to right I thought I don’t know let’s go this way we’ll see what happens I do see a

Magic thing oh speaking of which we should try out our heal okay so your Mana does restore over time so uh as long as we don’t run out of man then like we’re good and we can just keep ourself topped off uh so that’s actually really use oh

Hi where’d you come from this is a village room okay um I mean I know I missed something in here there we go like this goes down to down below we might come back to this room I want to focus on finding the obelisks first and so we can complete

The uh the Vault objectives cuz I think that’s more important cuz it’ll get us experience and levels and gear which is I think is way more important for us uh than what is this thing a yellow seat I like it uh I’m just going to keep it hey all right

There’s another Obelisk so let’s pop that that makes two obelisks so that means we should actually have some time to go back to the uh Whatchamacallit but I think what we should probably do is let’s figure out exactly where the portal room is first and then we can come back

Here okay we know the portal room is straight this way I still have like 8 minutes left though so we’re just going to go south and we’re just going to try and find as much as we can we’ll peek ooh look at that that’s actually a good

Chest there’s a few good chests here in fact um we will take oh hey we’re getting into Vault gear okay good stuff very good stuff give me all of the things we found some Vault Shields oh oh there’s so much here this is wonderful ooh and Vault

Armor okay uh this is why you keep exploring um for sure so it was this one I believe and then uh this is pretty much full so let’s grab our other shulker box put all that stuff in this is a really good find uh is that this like blacksmith area or whatever

Those rare chests that’s what we really care about that’s where you get the good stuff oo hey look at that lovely good chests give me all of your good chests yes yes yes yes good good good uh break um put as much of this into here as we

Can grab that and now I think we should start getting out of here um cuz obviously we want to escape with our loot uh so we need to find a way to get back up I think we can go this way and we just got to go straight

North let’s go uh I’m happy with that that was a really good Vault run and uh I don’t know it used to be in old versions of Vault hunters and and I haven’t played essentially since the first version but it used to be the longer you spend in the vault the more

Experience you get uh so you you’d want to stay in for as long as possible I don’t know if that’s still the case let’s see time spent 23 minutes time left I don’t know if that actually does anything thing but that’s fine coin piles mined chests

Looted we got a pretty decent amount of experience gained two more levels which is wonderful uh and yeah good stuff so now uh let’s do our monolith crate orb of regret I don’t know what that does uh but it sounds not good um I’m sure it’s

Fine though and we got a vault helmet and a vault sword we’re going to be rolling a lot of loot here oh and another Vault helmet so we got uh a lion guard helmet transmog so this is going to be I believe much better right three armor but this gives me plus three

Health and an item Rarity boost and more Mana regen so yeah this is way better and then we got another one here that’s also three Health but yeah this thing is uh it’s a little tiny bit less armor than what I had uh and it makes me look like a lion

So that’s a thing um let’s look at these two swords so this one is better attack speed or actually I think you want lower numbers for attack speed right um but this does more damage cuz it has plus two attack damage so I think this is going to be the Vault

Sword we actually want to use and then let’s look at these and I’m only going to grab the things that you would roll the loot okay so let’s just get these going and then we’ll start rolling these ones as well okay what do we got this is the stuff we already had so

We got Vault leggings uh compare those to our current Ones uh I think the old ones are better they give us more health and more armor so I think we’re better with those we did get a vault chest plate which is going to be for sure better than my iron one so we will put those we’ll put that

On three Health gives me a little bit more health so that’s good and then we got uh ooh actually really good Vault leggings uh let’s see I lose a little bit of the health unfortunately but I think it’s worth it for the item Rarity so we’ll put those on as well and

Then we got some volt shields uh that are also like okay Thorns damage block chance I feel like like this is probably the best one uh still no Vault boots unfortunately but that’s probably fine uh all in all though great Vault uh and we’re we’re really starting to finally
