Reborn so basically what this plug-in does is it allows you to have custom companions that sort of aid you in battles or they help you and give you custom potion effects or abilities and I really like this plug-in because it is pretty fun to mess around with and it

Just gives you really cool aspects to your servers that I’ve not really seen anywhere else or done before so as you see I have the Frog companion right now so what that does is it gives me slow falling as long as that companion is with me it will give me slow falling no

Matter what so if I jump down here as you see we get slow falling but another cool feature that it has is leaping so I can just go ahead and look in the direction that I want to leap to so let’s go over here to this other Bank on

The across the river and we just click on it as you see we just kind of get launched over here which is awesome I mean even has a particle effects as well so we can go ahead and I click over here and we just get launched over there and

We can click over here and get launched and say we want to go up to this like trio up here so we just click up there and there we go so that is the Frog companion this is probably one of my favorite because I really like it and it

Just is really fun that just I’ve bounced around everywhere with your Frog companion with you so that is that so the main command is a sea help or companion help that shows you all the main commands so you can do companion or /c and that will bring up your GOI so

You have ability to purchase companions so there’s a ton that are loaded by default so as you see I’ve actually purchased most of these so there’s just a few in here that I have not purchased for this showcase but there is probably about I think like 18 at least so you

Can just go ahead and purchase one so for example will demonstrate the shark ones so this does hook on with economy and also works with its own built-in coin system so you can use a vault so I’m using essential so I’m just using the essentials called me

So that would be purchased for 20k so we can go ahead and just purchase that so once you’ve purchased it you can go back to your own companions here’s all the ones I’ve actually bought so if you go to the details on the top left you can

Go ahead and see the active companion which is the Frog and how many companion coins that I have so that is the built-in economy this also works with placeholder API so you can use like the same placeholders over here for like your active pets or your coins or

Something so on the scoreboard but let’s go to the own companions and let’s activate the shark so the abilities is to go faster in water and water breathing’s but the thing is is if you do get hit in water you might get slowness effect when you take damage so

That is sort of a pros and cons so as you see we got dolphin grace and water readings so let’s go ahead and we got the little shark companion so let’s go in here oh yeah that’s working great guys that’s working so well haha that’s awesome we’re swimming so fast

Guys that’s so cool so yeah we’re just like moving really fast we can walk really fast we can swim really fast in the water and that is great so let’s go ahead and I spawn the zombie all right we got a whole bunch of zombie hordes

Zombies so there’s so many different types of companions I’m not gonna go over every single one but you can come on my server and I will probably have most of these companions where you can choose from if you guys wanna know how to do that is go to the main help go to

Plugins list and it should be here by the time this video is out so you should be able to select a few of your own companions and you can that test out those plug-in for yourself but this is all the different types of companions that you can have and for example we got

Pokeball and we have the regeneration not the absorption because I was using the golden apples but yeah we just get pure regeneration all the time which is great so once you have your companion you can go to the upgrade abilities and you can upgrade that different things so

You can upgrade the ability level and this will cost the price so this is 10k so if we go ahead and increase it as you see it is level 2 and it just increases your regeneration so you got out level 2 which is pretty LP actually so you can

Upgrade that as many as you want and you can upgrade to level 3 and so that’s just a lot of cool things that you can do with this plugin so you can change the level levels in the config but it’s recommended that you just stay either 5

Or below so that is the building and you can also rename it so that cost one companion coin so I have 5 companion coins and then you can just do the color codes so we can just say custom that’s some friend all right so hum there we go

So now it is successfully been renamed and then you can hide the Companions name if you want and you can also change the the weapon the weapon actually doesn’t do anything it’s just there for shows so say we want to add like a diamond sword or something so we can

Totally do that we can go to the abilities and just change it and then we can type in diamond diamond sword just like so and there go he has a little diamond sword here that is awesome few other commands that you can do is give

Companion a coin so you do CC and that will just show you or your companion coins but you do CC give and then a player and then the amount so we can just give them 10 and now I just got 10 so another cool feature is called

Companion token and to do that you can do a give see which stands for companion item and then the player and then it’s called companion token and then in that amount that you want so we can just change it to three so basically this is sort of

Like its own mystery of all type thing included so all you have to do is just right click on the ground and it will just sort of tell you what you got so we got the reefer one and I’d says and chat which is really awesome so we can go

Ahead and place it down and it just tells you what sort of thing that you want and then if you go into the own companions it would appear there but I’ve actually owned all of these already so that is a really cool feature so it’s basically just like a mystery box type

Thing and it gives you a random one selected so you just place it down and a really cool effects and it just shows you which one that you got so let’s go ahead and do it again and we got the turtle there we go so that is the really cool features I’m

Gonna show you guys in the config how to make your own custom companion here we are in the plugins folder and let’s go to our companion so this is where you can create and customize your own so what I recommend is going to the maintance widget page and going over to

The wiki because he has a lot of different documentation of how everything works and here is also pretty much everything right here as well so here’s all the different types of companions and you can customize each and every one of these as well which is fantastic and you can change the

Different types of descriptions and everything so what I recommend just find one that you want to copy and just go ahead and copy that so we’ll copy the Frog and then just go ahead and space it out so I’ll hit enter and then just go

Ahead and paste a new one just like so and we’ll go ahead and space it out one more time there we go and we’ll just call this will call it striker so you can call it whatever you want but this is sort of like the ID that it has and

That would be the permission nodes that you would give the player’s ability to buy this one so it’d be companions and then dot bye and then it would be dot striker so that would be the permission node to be added so we’ll just go ahead and we’ll make this purple and we’ll

Have it underlines that will call it striker and we’ll have a name visible you also have sounds make sure you use the correct sound IDs for whatever one that you want and you can also have custom player schools as well so I recommend coming over to minecraft heads

Comm and you can find that custom schools that you want to use so for this one I’m gonna use cool whither one and all I’m gonna do is just copy this real quick so we’ll just go copy that value and then just paste it in here well paste it in there we go

So that is the new one now we can have weapons you can change these and the abilities like I just showed you so let’s say we want to play this route so we’ll just do blaze on a score rod and there we go and then now we can have a

Different abilities so as I said I recommend coming over to the wiki so here is the wiki for the companion abilities and then here’s the main wiki so you can go ahead and come over to the companion abilities and so here is all the different types of ones so you can

Have different types of potion effects so if you want to change the potion that come click on this link right here so here is custom abilities you can use commands to be executed as well which is fantastic and then even has a percent chance to be executed and an interval as

Well so let’s go ahead and do that so I’m just gonna copy this one and we can give the players up and then we’ll change this up to like 90% so every one minute it will have a 90% chance to execute this command so we can have it

Give the economy or let’s go ahead and give them the custom coin so we can do duo CC and then player and then we’ll give them like two points ok so that will give the player two companion points so you can use pretty much any command that you what and then can have

Multiple commands run here as well or different abilities I’ll just space it out with the semicolon and just hit space now if we go back to the abilities you can have all these different types of abilities right here so let’s go ahead and select the lightning one so

All you have to do just put the lightning semicolon space it out and then you can choose it again let’s also do a fireball so we can do a fireball on it semicolon now we can also do potion effects or even different types of chances to give something to attack a

Chance or defend so here you have the attack chance edit event chance so basically when the holder gets hit or something you have the chance to activate this ability so for example this is the regeneration and then you can also give players or mobs like whether effect when you’re

Attacking them so all these are the configurable with the time and duration of use effects so let’s go ahead and just copy this one real quick so we’ll just go ahead and paste it in here and then you can change the whatever effect so for example got the weather effect and

Now let’s just change that to poison so all these effects are right here that you can list so we’ll do a poison so that will just attack the poison and then we can do another then we can have the weather one as well and then we and give ourselves regeneration for a

Defense regeneration for a defense and then let’s just give ourselves a damage resistant so it will just give resistance just normally so there we go so that is all the different types of things that you can do so that is the ability so that is how you create your

Own custom abilities right there and then we can even have to have a chest plate so we can do gold chest plate and that would just have a gold chest plate and then you can select different types of poses for whatever you want you have

A body pose the head arm and right arm and you can come to this website right here and it will tell you what type of poses and what it looks like and then here we have the UI so we can have like all just changes to gold a chest plate

Just like that and then an amount and we’ll just change this to the same color code that we had above notice it gives you cool stuff all right and then we can remove this and then we can change this to a striker change that to striker and then the

Price you can use a placeholder price for the price that you have so there we go that is how you make your own a custom one let’s go ahead and save all the files and we can go in game and that test it out so now we can do a CI reload

And that will just reload your companions folder and configuration so now if we go and we go to a purchased ones they should show up right here but I’ve actually just already purchased it so it is in the own companions and there we go so let’s go ahead and activate it

And there we go we got the little little cool companion there he’s got the golden chest plate he’s got the custom school and the little diamond hoe he’s holding as well so let’s go ahead and punch this creeper and we are having the resistance which is that it is working properly so

It should give them like for example creeper a poison it should have lightning and fireballs and that will be a certain percent chance you can change the config so let’s go ahead and just start punching this paper and there we go there was the fireball so that was working properly that’s

Awesome so if we keep on punching him oh he just died so let’s want a new one and there we go there was the lightning just like so if we keep punching him we should get some more lightning and and or at fireball oh we just got the

Pretty open now and we can do heaven just punish these guys we get more lightning strikes and fireballs and everything has just kind of been upgraded with my companion which is great which is so cool I really like this looking this is awesome guys so
