EPIC TROUBLE at the Academy! – Empires SMP Ep. 19

Hello everyone and welcome to another episode of the empire’s smp today i need to gather a ton of materials to continue work on my academy and my empire we have quite a lot of building to do part of that building process has been the back of the build which uh granted is not

Done yet but i’ve been working very hard on it as you can see and with the back of the build finally in that means i can start thinking about the interior and we have a lot of work to do in here to get therapy actual classrooms inside i find

It really fun to mark out the interiors of these big builds because you get to choose where everything goes and i think the height of this floor in here is going to be right about here which is fairly low for the room the height of the floor is right there for this tower

So it means we’re gonna have to put a staircase which i’m excited about the more rooms and elevation changes we have i think the more interesting it’ll be interiors requires so much cleaning up oh my goodness look at this it’s a mess luckily though this is

Exactly where the floor needs to go i just have to patch the wall uh it’ll be fine i got it got a potential student just kidding they’re explosive and not welcome hallways are looking great though look at this we’ve got a little staircase going up it connects all the

Promote is a set of rules an ethics board laws and things that govern what people should and should not do for their own safety of course my friends and i make for a very chaotic alliance but i like to keep things very lawful when i can so i thought that i would

Build a room for the board of ethics it’ll be like a whole proper building where people can come and get information on all of the things going on basically i just want there to be a place where everybody can get information on this empire and how

Things are run i think this little area right here will be the perfect spot for it so i’m just gonna take down this foundation real quick and we’ll build the ethics building here may need a little extra room so i’m just gonna remove this one as well this should work

For the new outline of the ethics building just gotta build up the foundation and get it all in place sadly i do think the chickens are gonna have to go before you my friends be free there you go i have tons of eggs so that’s probably fine luckily once the foundation of

These buildings are in place it’s pretty easy mode from there you just gotta build up i’m gonna go about five that’s five and then we put some slabs around and just generally detail the whole thing i like doing this style because you can get a little bit of

Depth down below in the foundation and then up here we’re gonna sit the wall right on these slabs so then there’s no depth but it’ll still look good with the details i promise the finishing touches are going on the build now and honestly i love it so far

I thought i would hang a little banner over on this side from a grindstone that’ll look pretty cute there we go and we’ll just do some of our vibrant purple wool and maybe eventually a banner yeah i think that fits in quite well i love the way that the building

Connects to this path i think i’ll widen this path a little bit and kind of shift this structure here over just a little bit these outlines i marked out a very long time ago at this point so there’s slight changes that are going to happen as the story evolves but that’s okay

There we go road all fixed up that’s much better oh my goodness i love it i’ve been thinking recently about sort of the flora i guess and maybe fauna of my empire and i actually really love these chorus plants they’re from the end dimension i know but they just look so

Good and they add such a nice unique purple color to the area so i think i’m going to add a bunch of those around my empire just gotta harvest the flowers like this it’s very magical really then we can use these flowers and plant them everywhere of course we’ll have a

Bunch of the evergreen trees as well but i think that’s kind of what the tree life will be around here it’ll be a bunch of evergreen trees and then a bunch of this chorus stuff unfortunately this stuff does have to be placed on end stone but i think that’s

Fine i’ll just plop them in a couple of places for now we’ll kind of see how that looks as a start maybe one right here would be good i just think they add such a unique like fantasy sort of tree with very minimal effort from me i can still do my custom

Trees everywhere but these are just special kind of excited about getting to use stuff that i’ve never used before to be fair it’s really cool i’ve never used these in a build time to work on some of the details now and i’m excited for this part i love doing interiors in this world

Definitely need a book so that we can write all of our laws down in this i think we’ll put a big desk right in the entrance and we’ll have the book right here ready to go in order to add a pop of color to the build i think i’m gonna

Go with a crimson ceiling that could be really cute i hadn’t actually thought about adding a fireplace or chimney to this build but now that i think of it i definitely really need one so i’m gonna plunk one right here and hopefully this will look pretty good

I like chimneys it’s a really good option if you want to add just a little extra something to a build i enjoy them alright it lacks a few details but i really like this so far we’ve got like the bulk of the furniture in place we’ve

Got a nice desk here which has our book which is gonna have all of our laws and things written in it that everybody wants to know we’ve got lots of books around a cozy little fireplace i think we’ll do a little table over here we need some pots and things i think

Because this was inspired by my alliance i’m definitely going to decorate a bunch with wither roses i kind of like it it’s also a little bit eerie because it kind of implies that if you break these laws like you know we don’t know what the punishment is but there’s there’s

Probably a punishment gosh i hate this joel head so much less dramatic uh it’s fine it’s fine but yeah i really like the drama of the withering effect being all around our sort of ethics build it’s kind of ironic and really fun and with that everyone i believe that is all
