Hello everyone my name is Raven and welcome to Raven gaming labs and welcome back to Vintage story we’ve been doing a lot of colony survival so I figured hey you know what let’s do some vintage so we’re doing some vintage SO in the last vintage we decided or I decided I Suppose I guess to uh you know do a little bit of crafting not a lot of crafting but a little bit of crafting and so what we need to do now believe it or not is actually get these things out of but oh yes that’s right these are all Raw storage I was thinking that all right you know what never mind we need to put something in here what are we going to put in here uh we could put in more Ingot molds I suppose H yeah no well let’s go on ahead and make another storage vessel because are you Serious why why did I do that I do that every time okay so also I just decided to turn off the music someone else had mentioned you know just turn it off I forget their name and I was like hey that’s actually a pretty good idea so I just turned off The music you know just the the nice Ambience of the world yeah why is hang on one second okay whoops there we we go I was like what what is with the view distance there and uh yeah there we go okay that was weird somehow somewhere along the way the view distance got Uh turn down I mean I did update but I’ve never had to do that but you know that don’t mean anything it looks like uh 1.19 is going to be coming out very very shortly which oh which is very very cool I’m really really really happy and pleased for that Because hopefully this D Jank update will be the last D Jank update and they can instead focus on you know like new features although I will say it runs much much much better and there were there were a bunch of like new stuff you know added of course they did of course Add a bunch of stuff but it would just be so nice to uh you know for for that to oh come on you know for them to just focus on adding like more features although I will say I really do like again I really like the fact that they’ve focused so Heavily and so hard on you know just bug fixes cuz that’s something that not a lot of developers in my opinion do enough of all right now I don’t know if I’m going to have enough straw for all of this but we going to try I don’t have enough straw for all This this crazy I don’t have enough straw I need more straw oh thank goodness there’s more never mind we were saved we were saved I maybe now I’m not going to have enough uh sticks well I suppose sticks are a little easier to get actually yeah it’s only two isn’t it Oh oh no I don’t have enough sticks yeah and that is something that I definitely don’t have a whole lot of well I guess I’ll just throw the clay the boards in there the boards in there no no give me that back Throw the Clay in there do I need Another Flint spear actually yeah I kind of do all right to the great anger of many I’m carrying my fire starter and everything else I’m going to put the saw up yes I love the tool rack the tool rack so nice so nice Okay so let’s go ahead and get the Axe out and let’s just start carving our way through everything I’m sure this axe is going to break momentarily but not a lot I can do about that I’ll just make another one oh no it broke how could this be oops for some I think I think because I’ve been playing way too much Colony survival I keep hitting I and it’s like no no no it’s e please hit e it’s so different without the the music I mean you know the music in this game I actually quite enjoy I think it’s I think it’s quite Nice but you know the the lava and all you know you normally don’t really pay much attention to it I mean you hear it but you know now you like really hear it all right let’s let’s see if this is enough sticks CU you know really what I Want to do is I just I just want to get this thing lit like once it’s lit you know we can yeah okay these stupid Birch bushes or whatever I mean they’re great and all you know for sticks but my gosh not a single Seed oh well I was going to kind of turn this into like a Big Pine Forest anyway so guess that don’t really matter oh I got a seed nice all right I’ll just place that right there all right 25 25 should definitely definitely do it a minute I ran past It okay now that is of course not even remotely enough uh thought I had some more Pine logs I did okay good there we go all right so cuz you know these these take eight so these take four and now the moment we’ve all been waiting for torch in the left hand fire Starter in the right hand and we’re taking our time and we are lighting it with the fire starter I’m hoping that this will be the last Fire Starter but since I wasted the resources on it I’m using it I know it doesn’t take that many resources but I don’t Care I wasted my resources on it I’m using it it’s going to it’s going to happen everyone’s going to have to accept it come on come on you guys have no idea how tempted I am to just switch over yeah I’m just going to go over to this One I won’t get mad I won’t get mad I won’t get mad I won’t get mad and just throw this thing away all right throwing it away nope I’m just I like my fire starter they annoy me too much there we go everybody wins everybody’s going to watch this episode And they’re going to get really mad and then they’re going to get to this part and they’re going to be like yes finally go over the other side of the wall so the moisture there’s another bear I’ll deal with him in a minute um the moisture seems to be going down Despite the fact that there’s literally water next to it is that a bug or does it grab when it gets lower I really don’t know cuz this is all capped at 75% and this hasn’t seem to Fallen at all so I don’t know oh maybe it caps at 75% I don’t Know yeah it might okay so we all saw that bear I saw that bear y’all saw that bear everybody saw that bear yeah yeah yeah I’m going I’m going yeah yeah yeah eating some turnips okay is time to go deal with the bear so we don’t need that you know to Be honest probably don’t need much of anything other than the shovel and we’re going to need some packed dirt I don’t remember where I put all that packed dirt but I put some of it somewhere oh I guess I used it all didn’t I I mean I know it’s been a Couple days but should have remembered that it’s fine oh there we go uh oh right of course there we go 45 blocks should be more than enough wow this is going to be great no this is going to be horrible because bears are evil that’s Right I said it bears are evil bears are unnaturally evil and I hate them no is it going to oh come on just going to leave but why why would you leave oh that problem may have just fixed itself uh just going to one second I mean there’s no way he’s dead in There right ah guess he guess he did die okay wellow okay I mean okay like what what more can I do or say the bear fell down the hole and the bear fell down the hole I mean there you go yeah I guess it caps the 75% that is a much slower growth Speed but I don’t have to do anything so you know to be honest I’m kind of okay with it now I am kind of running out of food so what I might do well the first thing we’re going to do is we’re going to put all the spears back Because we don’t need run around with this many Spears yep that’ll do all right so I think I’m going to eat like not many but just two of these I don’t really want to eat that many but I’m hoping we’ll find some food I know I’ve been this way a whole bunch Though so one thing that really concerns me hang on I’m all right we’re good we’re good phone was turned off I was making sure my phone was off it’s been on all day so there we go any fish no we’re good ah blueberries I actually uh quite Like blueberries so uh this counts as food the main reason we’re going out and foraging for food is uh well actually I’m also kind of looking for some resources so but I wanted to just check aha I got it I also wanted to go this way just to Check some stuff so it works out well oh this actually gives raw red meate cool I don’t yeah nice but uh in order to do yeah what I needed to go this way bummer this counts okay this counts look I’m I’m tired of starving I’m tired of eating just plain turnips I Mean look at me wrong they’re nice but no one wants to just eat turnips no one literally no one it’s crazy YouTube is oh you phone’s like YouTube you have another notification oh really open it it’s useless garbage though so I know that there’s a spot on The way back where we’ll get all of our copper and all that sort of stuff so we’ll just we’ll get that on the way back we’re just running around checking maybe we can find some more uh rabbits I’m glad we didn’t kill most of them there’s one right There just chilling out in the water not too small this one’s not maybe I should check that other one I don’t know I mean you don’t want to like expunge an area out of stuff you know cuz then you run the risk of having to wait for the quote unquote respawn if You will oh there we go some more Ry I’d say I’m surprised by the fact that it pretty much only ever drops the seeds but I’m not 27 yeah I mean it’s going to be July I because I believe I set it to seven days for a month it’s going to be July soon whoa there we Go unfortunately I did lose it in the tall grass but hey that’s okay oh hello it’s like going to the grocery store oh raccoon I don’t actually want the raccoon yes Perfection not really but I mean the bones are nice you know we’ll be able to make bone meal and other Stuff out of it so you know not not really a a a terrible thing I’m going to leave those alive just because you know maybe I want some more later I don’t know I’ll take the rice seeds stuff H I’m kind of tempted now their weight’s low wouldn’t be worth It would not be worth it any fish any fish about in these parts okay I already marked this oh yeah yeah yeah this is the area with the this thing right pine log that so far doesn’t have leaves cuz I couldn’t remember if it regrew or not so I just decided hey Let’s test that theory I think that’s just a pine tree over there this is another more copper all right let’s go do some more more Mining and then what we’ll do is uh we’re actually going to start getting some uh resources you know I also want to start Building like a Kier or something like that and we’ll also start planning out maybe the initial steps of what the home entrance and all might look like now oh yeah that’s right here I was about to say I was like now it should be around here some actually you know what we’re Going to run back really quick we’re not it’s not like we’re far anyway I’m going to put the I’m going to put the meat in the the root Celler that doubles as also the charcoal okay Brian there four days and when I shut the door it’ll probably Be even better wow look at that go look at it go I mean I’m half tempted to just plant I mean my gosh can you imagine how much Rye turnips I should probably plant them in August maybe be a good time just checking yeah so it seems it stops at 75% and then if I want to water it for increase growth speed I can um so sure put the small leather in there put the bone in there oh yeah we’re doing good now I don’t know where we’re going to put in all this stuff but gu we’ll find room for It so when we when we actually start having you know a lot of uh that’s 10 when we start having a lot of uh you know copper and so forth where is that copper not oh it’s right it’s right over here about to say I was like it should be Like right here or right here is so let’s see what we got po chunks most unfortunate on that I wonder if that’ll hold it it won’t hold it I imagine whoa wonder I C that away okay maybe that’ll help probably shouldn’t stand here well I hope nothing violent comes Along because I’m just you know stuck in a hole that I can’t get out of well I mean I can get out of it eventually but it’s kind of not really the point this is of rudimentary excavation here um okay not not like super super great so this gives 15 and there’s 40 so not Bad not bad at all it’s a it’s a decent it’s a decent Hole uh yeah decent I’m just going to oh really I really need to make a pond maybe that’s what I’ll do maybe I’ll make a pond I don’t I don’t know how big it needs to be in order to uh you Know like in other words how how big does it need to be in order to uh you know spawn fish I don’t know no idea okay so I’m just going to cook the fish directly oh wait hang on there we go and now what we can Do is we can actually start moving all this stuff here over yeah we don’t let’s see I have an axe mold a home mold pickaxe mold I don’t right I got 120 out of that not bad I don’t think I want to pulverize it no can’t say that I do okay make sure All the gates are closed I mean it won’t stop a bear but I don’t know Bears don’t seem all that smart anyway I guess let’s see 4.2 days really only 4.2 day okay well whatever guess I can’t really do a whole lot about that anyway okay and we’re going to obviously store Our uh gravel right here so the one thing we’re going to need is we’re going to need a lot of Cobble so we are going to need to pick a spot somewhere around here to start t tunneling inward um I’m thinking maybe the entrance can be around here Perhaps oh gosh I need a lot of pack dirt to stem the tide if you will but at least we’re you know actually to the point where we’re actually building something we’re not just you know we’re not we’re not just all right I’m going to grab this let’s See any more oh there we go wait wait wait wait wait give me that oh that’s do pretty good oh yeah let me take all this out put all my building materials in here okay put the clay back in here cuz it’s kind of where it came from originally and Anyway nope just want to eat the cooked fish please mature carrots awesome no really awesome wow yeah I guess when they’re not stunted they actually do pretty well ah those were not mature I don’t think H maybe they were one 2 three four five 6 78 nine man I didn’t get any extra seeds really none well what are you going to do there we go well I got a fairly he healthy amount so if I need to I can make some really nice vegetable soup I mean you got to work with what you got you Know but one thing I’m going to pour me some water here so you guys are going to hear that noise well sort of I guess the noise cancellation when I’m not talking might only pick up portions of it so yeah I guess getting a curan would probably be A pretty good idea you know somewhat quickly okay so we do need somewhere to build or into first and the only problem that I have with this and this is sort of why I’m going with this route here first so just going to pull out from here first Okay and we’re going to make make another sh I tell you it’s enough to drive you crazy it really is uh actually hang on one second everyone I’m going to check something really fast Hammer mold home mold pickaxe shovel mold okay so there is a mold for the shovel So that’s that is something we’re going to get very right right now h and there we go now we just you know we just have to wait for that get done whenever it gets done I don’t know how long those will take uh I don’t think they’ll take very long though I hope Not but at least we have a fair bit and went on ahead and planted the carrots because you know why not let’s see the Rye the three fields of Rye that are all stunted they’re going to grow they’re growing I mean they’re definitely going to take a lot longer Since it caps out at 75% with water on both sides of it but you know okay then so we’re just going to carve in into here and we’re going to go not too far let’s go a little bit deeper let’s go up one all right we’re good Okay now don’t have a lot of room to work with here here but right uh let’s see I don’t any of that um ah support beames oh I need the actual literal log okay got it instability 100% get rid of that all right there’s not a lot of room in here to work So yeah there we go oh yeah tunneling is going to be fun but the good news is what in the world uh okay good we can make it out of granite I need four right I need four of them and I got two super no we are not there Yet not by a long shot we have two more that we need to completely fill Bummer well on the upside at least I got the gravel out that’ll help and and all of this here will help as well glad I decided to build that extra that extra bit there so let’s go chop down a tree because I need support beams otherwise our M shaft is going to Collapse on top of us and that means I’m going to go kind of far this time like I don’t I don’t really want to harvest you know right you know in the vicinity so to speak I’m trying to grow trees around here so doesn’t really make a whole lot Of sense actually you know what let’s get some food before I start making a long Tre somewhere to chop down stuff oh I made six yeah I guess I could seal them in fat I don’t think I need to though I think once I cook them I can let’s see What do I need to make a shelf nice oh just planks fair enough now wait I actually did go in there for yoink what’s that absolutely crazy anyway let’s go in the bare infested Forest over this way and what we’re going to do is we’re actually going to look At uh seeing if there’s anything we can chop down you know hopefully try to get the the leaves and everything as well you know cuz have a lot of uh pine trees to plant around here this will do it’s not actually super far but keep going until I hit the the leaf Anyway the Leaves okay we need to go upwards a little bit more is that part of the other tree that might be part of the other tree stop destroying the other tree come on the other tree didn’t do anything wrong okay right really I didn’t get a single that’s kind of annoying I didn’t Get a sing oh there we go I got one at least two okay three nice plant one there plant one there plant one there um that should be enough for support beams I think you know I don’t particularly know know how wide this quote unquote M shaft is going To be but you know fairly Gathering all the materials in which to build this and also of course following the Contour of the terrain will also be quite important as well on top of that oh look at you guys still still going huh grab the saw saw and the support be wait a Minute it can’t be Pine can it oh please tell me that I can use the copper hammer to do this I can oh go in either slot it’s kind of nice wait a minute cool so I don’t fully know how the beams work per Say I do know that that has next to no you know stability uh interesting can I get that back okay I can get it back you need seven beams to place at this link okay ridiculous I actually should look up proper uh you know Minds I mean I know that it Should be more like up and then over and then you know down but I think too I think I may have also made this too deep so what I may do instead is just do something a bit more like this okay there we go nice okay I mean it’s it’s not perfect But you know uh oh excellent okay well have fun with that oh cool and all of our stuff is done for two years I wonder if that means it lasts longer you know to 2 years I mean a month in this game is considered 7 days but you know the meat doesn’t match up with the time scale so yeah I don’t know that’s pretty crazy oh It’s the 8th of June maybe I did set it to be higher I can’t remember what I set though 5.7 years 1.7 years so it lasts roughly the same so whatever all right let’s close that wonder where I put the jug oh yes uh should do that right that’s The Crucible Um I should do that right now that’s let’s see I need there’s The Jug H kind of put it in the other hand nice okay let’s go ahead and get these out and let’s set this one right here why not grab that and actually you know could use another food storage okay Perfect how are the onions doing walk on this five out of seven maybe I’ll get some extra seeds that would be pretty nice but at least I I mean I didn’t get any extras with the carrots at all but I am hoping that even though I did not get Any extra with the carrots uh you know maybe this time I’ll get like plus one or something you never know I’m not I don’t find very many carrots which is unfortunate so uh all right so 3 L of water in The Jug rideo let’s see what much time do we Have well we can always go over fresh for two days nice okay there there’s there’s enough for one more so I’ll do one more I’m a big fan of rye by the way I love rye bread so good nice okay well I’m going to be honest I don’t remember I don’t remember at all how the uh wait until the fire is out might have been too much firewood okay we we might get to this in this video maybe perhaps oh can make a pie with it ah there we go what in the World okay we’re just going to I know it’s the 1 hour mark but we’re just going to go a little bit further just a little Further got to be a little careful cuz I remember it being like really easy to burn the dough but you know okay 243 243 242 oh there we go and partly baked oh get back in there don’t eat it stop eating the dough they turned and I’m like wait grab it Quick all right no I I I kind of get it now I I actually get it quite well wow this stuff holds the heat really really really well yeah so it’ll it’ll tell me when it’s baked baked baked baked there we go so it tells me perishable fresh for quite a few Days and it gives 300 wow that is 100% worth it and even though it’s only 75% Harvest it should yield an enormous amount of it so I’m feeling kind of hopeful and and then I’m going to turn these two rows into uh probably Ry as well just Because why not I’m hoping that the big temperature
