EPIC Witch Farm and TRX Industries Item Sorter in S3RIUS’ New Minecraft World

Hey hey hey everyone welcome back this is our serious welcome to another world tour oh yeah so how you guys been hope you’re having a great weekend and yeah today i am going to show you a lot of progress we have plenty to show you

I did a lot i had a lot of time to work i mean work on this world not in real life but work in this world and actually was on vacation also i didn’t record too much because i went out with a family on a little vacation trip

Also something i want to address here by mistake i put it on peaceful and i ended up desponding my little guy over here let’s go ahead and take a quick look our little guy is gone and that is sad so we’re gonna have to find another another zombie to take his place

But at the moment anyways we’re going to talk about this uh about we’re going to talk about the the iron breeders um uh seems like mojan has nerfed it a little bit not completely a little bit i’m going to explain why and how that happened um

But how you can fix it it’s no problem uh but let me show you all the progress we’ve been doing guys so as you can see oh yeah there’s something in the horizon oh yeah we have plenty to show you look at that on top of there we got something

On top of the rig we got we have a witch farm at the bottom so okey dokey let’s get to it so i went in a caving expedition for plenty of days i got redstone like crazy i got um quartz at the nether i got glowstone

I got so much guys and now with the witch farm i had it running for a while well at the same time that i was working on top here it was giving me redstone it was giving me glowstone gunpowder sticks bottles so yeah guys i’ve been using that to finish

The top over there without the witch farm there was no way i can do the upper part so yeah but anyways i did go caving a lot trying to light up some tunnels and then at the same time uh getting a lot of redstone that we needed so as you can see

Already at the distance we do get we do get some spawns oh yeah but at the moment they are not um they’re not at they’re probably a 30 spawning rate uh because i got to light up all the tunnels and the way this witch farm works is that it’s a

Hybrid what do i call it a hybrid because it works with two systems it works with tripwire on the top when we get a mob spawning on the top what happens is that uh it triggers the whole system and the bottom we don’t we don’t have tripwires it’s uh it works with

A with bio bio energy or biofuel let’s go ahead and take this off real quick and that means it works with another system that’s every every time you get a cactus or a a item flowing through the system it triggers the bottom floor so every time you see

This floor shifting back and forth like that just just the way it did just now is because it’s items that are going through through the system so we’re having our our cactus farm work for us over here as you can see i can always turn it off if i want let’s

Go on this side so you can take a quick look this is the way it looks they’re not gonna spawn at the moment because i’m too close yeah but uh let’s say we go up here real quick whoa oh right there triggered the whole system

It’s hard to get up there let’s go up here okay so on the top as you can see we have trip hooks we have a shifting floor with some fence fence gate so we get more um what you call that um air blocks on the sides and also

What happens there’s redstone on top of this block that triggers this piston and underneath this we have oh did i lose my oh there it is let’s go up here all right so what happens is that once that piston triggers that uh redstone over here it sends a pulse bringing it back

Through these repeaters and i’ll retract the piston and it’s like a clock so that if there’s any mobs standing over here the system the system will continue going round and round until they fall but yeah cool thing about this farm we don’t get no other mobs spawning on top so that’s very cool

Rarely you get something but you shouldn’t so it works with tripwire and it works with uh the other item system that we have and that’s because we have a red line that comes all the way from the bottom here let me see if we can go down

Oops i just broke it oh boy let me just get on this side i’m about to break this for a second i got plenty of junk on top of me let’s go ahead and just grab this i’m destroying everything guys so let’s go ahead and put that there

And our redstone torch let’s put it right here and let’s go ahead and put let’s go put this here i’m missing a red block where is it oh well let’s just use that the repeaters man what the hell let’s just uh all right so if you look down here we

Have a line that goes straight down from the bottom and that detects any items that are going through the system and they end up making this shift and as you can see we get plenty of items going through so yeah i’m gonna make a option

That will turn it off if i want it uh let’s say we need a repeater here okey-dokey oh boy i ended up breaking everything all right ah let’s see let’s put this stone here i’ll come repair this later on do we have another stairs no i’ll just put this here for now no

I have a mob spawning on top of that okay and this is the way it looks from the front then let’s see if we can get another witch spawning here like i said again we’re not going to get too many because um actually if we go to bed maybe we can see

We let’s go to bed real quick so there you go guys we’re using bio fuel so that’s awesome and it doesn’t produce that much lag like a clock or anything anything like that i’m getting a little bit lagged because my computer is acting up though let’s see real quick

Oh come on give me another witch spawn oh there we go awesome this thing is working great okay enough of the witch farm let’s show you the bottom real quick um again the which will spawn i mean when they drop they go into this all the way down where they

Where all the items are collected every time the floors shift it makes me lag a little bit but okay let’s see uh i did finish some of the floor over here just just to make it look better um over here i haven’t done nothing but let’s go downstairs

Let’s take the long way we never grabbed the long way all right so i could have just ender pearled okay so everything’s coming together guys um i had to lower this floor by three that way we can see the witches before the floor used to be about that high

So there we go this is where they drop and here i put the access door so you can see the mine cart that picks up the all the iron loot and all the items on that side they it comes over here comes through this tunnel

And it picks up all the items here all the loot as you can see but here it comes let’s check it out there we go oh yep bye bye there you go and this is where the item does the the wiring comes from the that triggers the the shifting floors as

You can see all right let’s get out of here some there’s some hoppers underneath now let’s get to the top so we can show you all the progress up there now this is the best part of the the update that i’ve been working like crazy on the

Sorter system i’m uh i got to say i’m addicted to mine carts oh yeah and i’m loving it guys i’m having so much fun working with these mine carts um we gotta do our cactus farm our wheat farm all that it’s gonna be coming in soon

Let’s go up here now this elevator is it’s been failing as you can see and i don’t know why i think it’s because um right now slime block elevators are a little bit glitchy there we go there we go guys so we’re on top check it out oh yeah awesome

Awesome now this looks like a mini mini storage system like uh a warehouse system check it out the minecart comes all the way from over there it comes in here and it starts sorting all the items out now this can cover there’s about 90 slots here or more and it can cover about

60 percent of all the items in the game that are stackable so there’s going to be a problem it’s going to be a chance that i’m going to do a second floor up to there and i’m going to incorporate the iron goldens into the into the design so we can eliminate

This right here but uh let me show you how this worked i kept my design i want to thank um draco one of my viewers that he suggested a new design if you want to check out his video i’ll try to put a link on the bottom i’ll try to remember

But uh what he suggested is for other people that want to do a different design let me see if i can just open this up here we go destroying everything again that you can remove the piston and just just go down oh boy it’s got to work here but let’s see i

Don’t want to show you the bottom yet all right um as you can see we got names on everything so you know what’s coming down here all right but the thing here is that uh you can just put regular stone right here like this like that remove the piston just put

Redstone on top and that’ll do the same job for um for detecting items that go through the system but i wanted the mechanical look i’m old school i like pistons i’ve been around before pistons and i just like the clunk clunk you know the sound that piston

Pistons do every time they um they retract and it looks very mechanical that’s the reason i kept that like that so um yeah but you can use it either way also i wanted to use it for for the rest of naps every time a minecart goes in here let me show you

Real quick uh every time it goes in there oops hold on jesus what am i doing uh boy let’s see let’s see if i can drop an item here cactus i don’t have no cactus never mind well every time uh a minecart goes on to this track and with items

The piston will retract the lamp will go off and i can see it from the top because we’re going to have a base on top and we’re going to be able to see the lamp go off let’s see if i can pillar up so i can show you

As you can see later on we’re going to have like a glass floor and we can see the minecart going back and forth and we can see where the minecart is located by just looking at the lamps yeah this is the way coming out awesome so let’s see

Over here let’s just grab a minecart the minecart should go something like this it goes in here you hop on it’ll start going into every single thing detecting if it has the item and so on yeah okey dokey so let’s take a quick look on this side um yeah it’s huge guys

Man i mean this took me plenty of time guys plenty of time so once that the the minecart is done it’ll go this way like this let me show you and i’ll return back into this way oh yeah just like that okay let’s take a quick look on this side

Once it’s done it should return down this way i’m sorry i should go on the top over there and i’ll drop into the system of the minecart dispenser and let’s take a quick look over here this is filling up oh yeah so we’re gonna have that coming out pretty soon

Awesome very cool we got some cacti awesome and i got to give a big shout out to odyssey you know why because this was the key component for my build i had a problem and finding how to detect if the mine cart was full and

There was a little trick i saw on his channel he said something that i don’t know if it was his design or he saw it someplace else but uh this really came in handy the hat slab just like that because what happens is that the minecart will go

Halfway to the top it’ll stop right there and it’ll keep the the i’m sorry the detector on and as soon as it sends a pulse all the way down towards the um the golden track it’ll shoot out so this was a nice little thing i saw on one of my

Subscribers channel odyssey i’m going to link is this put a link on the description make sure to check him out he does some cool crazy stuff with minecarts and i gotta say uh i like his channel because he likes minecarts just like i do i’m i’m a freak with minecarts

But anyways um all right so over here this will take off pretty soon let me see i should probably uh let’s see if we got any items in here no this is about to shoot out anyways but real quick let me uh show you on the top so oh

Let’s go up here before the minecart comes back again this that the item uh the minecart comes up here i’ll drop the items into this hopper and over here let’s go over here all right over here the the green line uh this is the return for the other

Minecarts and i’m going to explain what happens here this is the system all right and every time a minecart leaves from the system when it’s full right right over there it’ll be replaced with another minecart like this did you see the track change right there all right let’s do that again just in

Case you didn’t see that uh okay over here did i grab and does it grab anything all right the minecart this is the minecart detector once it’s full it’ll send it pulse out sending it back out this way i’ll go this way like this this is going to go into a

Sorter department where all the mine carts are going to be sorted out into their proper items that’s going to be somewhere i’m thinking about um not on top of this base but underneath the ground right over there i’m thinking about building a huge warehouse for these mine carts

And uh yeah this is it look at this system it’s huge look at that oh boy just look at that guys oh yeah so you can be at any spot if it’s right here i’ll take off from right here you end up coming this way

It all ends up in the same track just like that awesome there it is guys this took me a long time a lot of grinding searching for redstone i was running out of redstone all the time um this is the front i’m slowly building up the front trying to look for a

Nice design i’m not sure i’m going to keep this like this but again i wanted to look futuristic and industrial but um i don’t know i am i’m think i think i’m i’m putting too much of uh quartz i’m probably going to change it up a little bit

Is this filled up yet oh it took off already so let’s take a quick look and see where it is um all right let’s go ahead and just grab this block here good good let’s just see a run ah it’s a shame we missed that but as you saw the other minecart took

The place all right so let’s see over here you can tell it’s right over there because um the light is off as you can see you can’t see the minecart for some reason it’s glitchy but um but yeah it’s over there let’s go up a little bit more

Let’s see if it once it gets a little bit closer we can see the minecart all right so that’s uh that should be oh there it goes uh it’s unloading over there so that’s the reason i kept the lights and i like the mechanical look that looks awesome look at that guys

Very cool continue on to the other one let’s see it’s continuing you can’t see it because uh we’re too far away oh there it is it stopped over there dropped something off there it goes awesome so it’s on smart system with minecarts it’s very advanced and now it’s probably going all the way

Over here and it’s going to go over here and it’s going to try to find something else oh there it goes it’s right over there see can we move from here no this is stay here for now i don’t remember what i have over there so um awesome

Just give me a second guys let’s see there we go it took off up right over there okay okay guys just hold on a second guys just make sure everything’s working right i’ll probably oh there it goes there you go so there there it is guys i

Just wanted to see the minecart so you can see it in action but you’ve seen it before so yeah might as well just leave awesome great so this is a system one of the main items that i needed for this was wood guys i should have built a a tree

Farm before doing this and i regret not doing it because to build all the hoppers and build the chest it was just a lot of wood guys a lot good thing when we went to the nether to open up the bedrock i had wood from that little project we did over there but

Yeah so uh let me go back here so i can show you real quick let’s go right up here so the the system go the sorry the minecart goes into the system just like this and it changes the track on top as you saw so what happens when the other minecart comes back

It will detect if there’s a mine cart there and it continues on to the next one as you saw over there and it does the same thing the same thing for all of them just like that it continues on yep just like that just go here for a second

As you can see and um it stays on top of the hass slab and the detector rail sending a pulse through this competitor down here underneath all the way um down towards the can see from here but yeah you can see it on this side it goes all the way up

And i’ll trigger the power rail and underneath this we have underneath this half slab we have a a piston with a redstone redstone block that’s all is extended let’s see if i can get up here i can’t i’m stuck here now um what do i have on top of hoppers

Whoop there we go as you can see it is very hard to work in these conditions but yeah one thing i had to do i had to fill them up with um with minecarts so they can start collecting all the items i didn’t want to do it yet i

Wanted to show you how this works so let’s see over here let’s go ahead and just drop this on this side oh it went the wrong way nice all right um yeah it goes there it change tracks there it goes oh boy this is gonna fall there he goes

All right let’s go ahead and put the rest now that we’re here oh my god it’s also the lag also it’s the lag too there it goes very cool so i’m gonna have to fill up all this with chess as you can see it continues on

All right uh let’s go just drop this here here okey dokey awesome but you know what all that the witch farm gave me a lot of glowstone and i went also to the nether so that’s pretty cool so i’m going to fill up all all of these

Uh one thing i want to do let’s grab another one of these show you what happens um at the moment is it collecting yeah it should be collecting uh items yeah so we got obsidian in this one we have come on come on let’s see on this one

I did some iron iron bars yep and this right here the red line goes up to switch it switch the track as you can see it comes from the bottom very cool boy i am stuck here let’s just let’s go all the way to the end um

So yeah this is the way it looks oh yeah awesome as you right here you can see the piston how it works once it’s uh it’s powering the red line that goes underneath it’s sending the pulse on top just like that when it triggers the when the orange orange line triggers the piston

This is what happens it takes off there we go awesome let me see right here okay i still got to finish this here though yeah i still got to work on this side let’s see yeah so we got to do plenty of work here yeah as you can see i haven’t finished

It yet i still gotta put uh extend the wire down this way like this i don’t have clay so i have to come back and get that but yeah i have to continue with this so guys plenty of progress as you can see um kind of hard to work here though with

All this but yeah this is it this is the system guys it’s coming out great and at the moment we have we have a system that is going to collect all the items that’s going to be the first part of this as you notice it’s going to collect all

The loot around the world and it’s going to bring it up into this system this is the second part this is where all the items are going to be carefully put in there into their proper slots and sorted out mine carts the third part is going to be over here

Is going to be where the storage is going to be where all the items are going to be into storage mine carts and the reason i’m doing it into minecarts is because i want to be able to call it from any place if i’m like i’m over there

I’m later on i’m going to build like a a ranch or like a house over there i want to be able to call in a mine cart and i’ll travel all the way up to there and if we have a base on top of that hill

I call in the mine cart from the base and i’ll go all the way over there that’s the reason i want mine carts but i also want to have it in a way that i can walk through and pick out the items that i want if i want to

Be here and i’m not over there or any place else i can just walk into the the warehouse and pick the items up because i do want to have that flexibility we’re also going to have a small warehouse with the items um and that we can just come and pick our

You know a little small little personal place where we can just walk in and grab our personal items let’s see how we’re doing on this oh yeah look at that so we’re getting a lot of um this is actually what everything we got at this uh we’re getting at this farm we

Still gotta get some ink sacs but there you go we get sugar we get seeds we get cactus we get eyeballs gunpowder bottles glowstone so yeah all automatically so that’s great guys awesome one thing i didn’t show you how this works um once it sends a pulse to go out it also

Sends another pulse this way that sends one item up it go it shoots it up so it comes back down so there’s a one tick and it dispenses out the mine cart so that’s that way that that’s the way that works so yeah guys i’m having tons of fun with this i had

I had that’s one of the things i love with my about minecraft is minecarts and i’m slowly working with this uh still plenty more to do we are probably going to build a second floor pretty soon so let’s see how it goes let’s take a look from here awesome and uh

We’re gonna probably built our main base right here and this suggestion came from dirt dude a long time subscriber and i gotta say um i did have a separate base in my old world and everything was separated into a different spot our witch farm was

Far away or our cactus farm was far away so it’s time to build something all in one and this is what i’m looking forward to in this build i got inspired to do it um so i want something futuristic industrial kind of like mass effect i don’t know

I’m a little bit inspired with mass effect lately i’ve been playing that also but um yeah we’re gonna build up like a city and it’s gonna have tons of stuff guys uh we’re gonna have farms we’re gonna have our main base our our sleeping quarters

And our item system is going to be in the bottom so awesome okay guys before we end the episode i want to address some of the issues with these type of farms uh the iron breeder here lately i’ve been getting a lot of questions does this work in 1.8 or in the latest

Snapshot well it i gotta say it does work it still works um not as before it seems like mojang has nerfed it a little bit so yeah but it gives you a lot of bread still gives you seeds it gives it gives you wheat but

They nerfed it in a way that they don’t breed automatically no more like this you have to come in here and bone meal it put a lot of bone meal on the wheat on the crops and have them harvest a lot and once they get their inventory filled up

Then they’ll start breeding you start seeing some hearts i already did some experimenting and it works i still had babies um but once their inventory is low again they’ll start breeding so yeah there’s some issues with this but i’m okay with it i mean they had to do something about it

Anyways i guess it was just a little bit overpowered and if you weren’t if you weren’t careful and you just let this continue you could have a an overflow of population a whole bunch of villagers and you will have a big mess okey dokey so that’s one of the issues i wanted to

Address with the villager breeder it’s a semi-automatic farm now you’re going to have to get up there and automatically bone mill it if you want them to have babies because or otherwise i don’t think they will so it was slightly nerfed but it’s okay once they start breeding

Uh it will last like about five to ten minutes or so and i’ll give you up to six eight villagers baby villagers so it’s okay another question that i had was um the obsidian generator that works with string does it work in the latest snapshot it does

Work i tested it out and it does work fine it’s just there’s a little trick to it so i suggest before building it watch the tutorial i’m going to probably do one soon so yeah um le if you’re wondering what’s the snapshot i’m in i’m in 14 w21b

Because it’s the most stable at the moment uh anyone after that is pretty much unstable so we’re gonna have to wait okay guys uh so let’s go ahead and read our next question here hey are sirius have you ever considered playing feed the beast or any other mod pack since you like

The industrial factor in minecraft kade matthews well mr matthews uh yes i have played before feed the beast um actually a long time ago and for some reason it was fun for a while but uh after building so many things and and playing with it i got a little bit bored

And i wanted to go back to vanilla but once i started playing vanilla it was absolutely boring more boring even so um that was the time there was a time when i stopped playing minecraft for a long time so that’s one of the reasons i don’t like playing modded minecraft

Because it kills the vanilla the vanilla gameplay if you notice lately a lot of people don’t play vanilla anymore it’s only a handful of people that are playing vanilla and everybody’s playing uh this mod in minecraft and and you sometimes you can hear them saying that

They they don’t find the joy in in vanilla anymore and that’s one of the reasons i don’t want to play it so i’m going to stick around with vanilla for a long time wait for mojan to keep on at keep on adding all this great stuff they’re doing to this game

And just enjoy with time you know currently i was playing life in the woods that’s another cool mod in minecraft but i had to make a decision between vanilla and in that one and i decided to go with vanilla because i just don’t have the time to do

More than one let’s play so yeah uh one mod in minecraft i’m really interested in playing is uh terra of i think it’s terra terrafirm i don’t know what’s called terraformacraft yeah i think it’s called like that you probably want to correct me i find it to be completely different

Than any other minecraft mod and i like it but uh if i play it i’m gonna do a let’s play on it it’s absolutely diff difficult for me and i’ll just leave it for the pros so yeah thank you very much for your question oops and let’s go ahead and
