Hey guys you’ve dough here and today I’m back whenever minecraft tutorial and in today’s video I’ll be showing you an incredibly useful new command set to be added in the 1.16 never update the first snapshot of which was recently released on Java edition the new command allows You to find any biome you wish in an instant gone are the days of searching endlessly in your Minecraft world for your favorite biome whether it’s the new never biomes like the Warped and crimson forests you’re looking for or the elusive mushroom islands or badlands you could find them within seconds of Today’s command the new command acts in the same way as the slash locate command which I have previously so cased as a tool to find generative structures like villages and n cities the new command aptly named the locate biomes command works in an identical way providing you with the coordinates of the closest Biome of choice so to start using this command first you need to make sure you have cheats enabled you can turn them on by pausing the game click open tool and enable cheats and then start the land party you can now enter the command so open the chat and type in slash locate Biome all one word followed by the biome of your choice in this case a jungle and click enter you’ll then receive a message in chat saying that the biome has been located at the following coordinates if you’re in creative mode you can then click on the coordinates provided and it will immediately enter Them into the SAS teleport command so just hit enter and you’ll arrive at the biome that you searched for note that when doing this teleportation it is not uncommon to teleport below ground as the locate command doesn’t provide a y value so either use game-mode spectator to avoid the risk of Suffocating when teleporting or change the Y value yourself to a higher number typically y 100 is a safe enough height if you’re playing in survival mode however all you need to do to reach the biome you’ve located is to match your own coordinates to that of the newly Located biome in this case the jungle biome is at X – 4 6 4 and Z – 1 9 – so press f3 on your keyboard to see where we are already in this case we’re at X – 8 4 8 and I said – 157 so now all we need to Do is increase our X and decrease our said until we reach the jungle biome coordinates while using this command on snapshot xx w6 a the first build of 1.16 I have noticed that on very rare occasions the command will say biome cannot be located this may be a teething Problem for the new command and may not be an issue when a full update is released but for now it can be quite annoying so far I’ve only seen it occur with the absolute rarest biomes for which the closest appearance of that biome could be more than ten thousand Blocks away from the player hence why the game can’t find it the way around this is to teleport far away from your current position and reenter the command hopefully you’ll be close enough now that the command will be able to find the biome alternatively if when you Enter the command game says you do not have permission and you’ve forgotten to enable cheats so rewind a tutorial and try again likewise if it says invalid or unknown command you type the command out wrong it could be a simple spelling error that has stopped it from working so Double-check you’ve written the command not correctly and try again I hope you found this tutorial helpful if you have then please share this video of a friend may also benefit from this command and thanks for watching Video Information
