Minecraft 1.20 has over 40 different enchantments and in this video I’m gonna try to explain every single one of them starting with depth Strider this enchantment has many misconceptions but the depth trainer enchantment is put on your boots and increases your speed in water with each level making you faster Efficiency can be put on any of your tools and base basically makes them faster at mining efficiency is one of the enchantment that also reaches level 5 and if put on an ax it will increase the cooldown time of any Shield you hit with it aqua affinity makes you be able To mine at regular speed under the water respiration makes you breathe longer underwater and both of these commands are also put on your helmet sticking with the theme of armor protection fire protection projectile protection and blast protection are all put on your armor and protects you from the corresponding damage type with Protection protecting a little bit of everything the boots also have a more unique enchantments for example feather falling which despite the name does not make you go down slower but rather makes you take less damage if you want to you can choose to instead of depth Strider also turn into Elsa From Frozen by creating ice around you when walking over water this is done through the frostwalker enchantment and finally Soul speed makes soul is also put on your boots and makes Souls sand and soil Soul soil into a highway that is so difficult to pronounce But it turns it into a highway for you so I guess you could call it the highway of hell okay so now that half the people have clicked off because of that joke let’s talk a little bit about swords starting with sharpness Smite and Bane of Arthropods these enchantments are all Used to increase sword damage given to a certain type of mob for example sharpness gives more damage to every mobs might turn dead mobs and being a foreign to it animals yeah sharpness is just Superior so just take sharpness do it let’s speed on the last few sword enchantments knockback turns your sword Into a player launching cannon fire aspect turns your sword into a flaming sword that automatically Cooks your food sweeping Edge makes your sweep attack better and impaling gets put on your Trident and thus extra damage to underwater mobs I don’t really like the bow enchantments But there are still a lot of them to go over for example power that just increases damage or punch that just knocks players further back from the arrows but before we move on with the Bowen Chen with the rest of the bow enchantments one of the most useful Enchantment that can be put on any tool or armor is Unbreaking now despite its name the Unbreaking Enchantment doesn’t actually make your tools unbreakable I know I also felt this as a 10 year old but it does not make your tools unbreakable it makes them have in but Instead what it does is as you can see I’m having some severe trouble speaking here so I’ll explain it here instead if a tool has Unbreaking enabled that means that it will have a random chance of not using one of its durabilities whenever you’re mining with it but one Enchantment that does technically make your tool unbreakable is mending men men now I’m gonna make a full-on video about mending in the future as it is a pretty controversial enchantment basically mending uses some black magic to turn XP into durability practically regening your tools a norm two other pretty rare enchantments that Can be put on Armor pieces is Swift sneak and Thorns Swift sneak goes on your leggings and is a pretty self-explanatory enchantment found in ancient cities Thorns is not as obvious though but but once put on it basically turns you into a cactus okay let’s get back to the bow Enchantments and this time let’s finish them flame turns your arrows into flaming arrows Infinity makes your bow have unlimited arrows also for God I also forgot that there’s like crossbows and tridents so we’ll get to them eventually for now let’s talk about the curse enchantments curse enchantments are specialized just Like Manning and frostwalker these are also the so-called treasure enchantments treasure enchantments is a category of enchantments that can only be gathered through fishing or training with villagers now if you’re fishing for them you might as well enchant to your fishing rod with lure to get some more Drops and with luck of the sea to get more so-called treasure loot which includes the books treasure enchantments can also be gathered by trading with the librarian villager as I already said and the curse enchantments RS of 1.20 curse of Vanishing and curse of binding curse of Vanishing if you if put on an item means that your item will disappear upon death and then we have the more evil one curse of binding this enchantment is applied to any armor piece or the more evil one the chord pumpkin if you have an armor piece with curse of Binding on you won’t be able to get it off yeah this is the ultimate troll enchantment I just realized that we haven’t even taken a look at the tool enchantments apart from the efficiency so let’s take a look at some of them select touch makes your tools drop the literal block Your mining some of these are bnest Stone grass and all types of nelium Fortune which is the other choice also makes or to drop more minerals than it typically would okay let’s get back to the crossbows enchantments Quick Charge lets you reload your crossbow quicker piercing makes your arrows be able to pierce Through mobs or you can do like me and instead go for the less practical thing which is multi-shot this enchantment basically turns your crossbow into a shotgun and it’s really cool and finally we have the Trident enchantment which once again are really cool starting off with loyalty which Ultimately turns your Trident into a boomerang then we have channeling which literally allows you to turn into Zeus and control lightning and finally we have Riptide which is the other path that you can choose for the Trident instead of loyalty if the riptide enchantment is equipped that Means that you won’t be able to throw the Trident but instead it allows you to propel into the air from any source of water and if it’s raining and you happen to have an lighter on you you can travel extremely fast so there you go every Minecraft enchantment explained in one video now The time of reading out this script I haven’t started with the editing yet but I can already tell it’s gonna take a really long time so while I typically don’t say this I will four months ask you that if you enjoyed this video then I’m fairly certain you like a lot of my Other videos in fact why don’t you test that theory right now by clicking this video and hey if you do end up liking it and I’m correct then it would mean a lot to me if you even considered subscribing my Discord and patreon are also in the description but my time for Self-promoting has gone way over so uh yeah also not to make the video longer but I just realized I forgot the Looting which of course gives you more mob drops and higher chance for rare drops thought I might as well throw it in here so you guys don’t comment it okay bye Video Information
