Exciting Magic Spells and Crops in Minecraft 1.20!

Well hello there how’s it going everybody what’s going on it’s Jeff holiday and we are back with some more Minecraft some all the mods nine feeling good feeling all right this morning um so where I left off uh last time I was messing around I got in this Iron

Golem traveler’s backpack and I didn’t realize why I couldn’t open it it’s actually very simple it you just have to combine shears with it standard Travelers backpack this is so there’s always like a bunch of different uh backpack mods and I hadn’t used this one in Forever

But I still can’t get it to open what is going on with this thing I don’t understand what is going on like they’re all these other bags dude do we have the other backpack mods let’s see backpack uh yeah sophisticated backpacks see this one yeah yeah okay so I’m just gonna have to

Make a different backpack because I need them I I I really I need them because uh I run out of inventory space way too much anyway so today uh the very first thing I want to get started is on a very specific type of Mystic agriculture crop

So we’re we’re getting you know a little bit of inforium here and there and it’s very slow and there is a very very simple easy early game way to automate some crops and that is with botany pots I believe it’s what they’re called lot New Balance

Baltony yes yes botany parts so in order to make these we actually want to get the hopper botany part uh we need some terracotta which is simple as just a smoked up Clay and flower pots Okay cool so what we’re gonna do uh chicken raw chicken it didn’t get cooked that’s

Funny weird we’re gonna need to make each one of these you need four times five twenty twenty three we need 23. bits of clay but I also need to convert five clay blocks perfect okay cool just making sure I’m doing this right so we’re gonna start cooking those things

Up now a hopper botany pot is going to allow us to grow certain types of plants now in order to make what we’re going to need which honestly the first thing we’re going to make is Clay seeds Clay oh you know what we need water and dirt to make clay that’s right well the first one we’re gonna make instead is we’re just gonna be able to plant some inferium into it so I can show you how it’s done uh because I forget uh I’m gonna have to make an

Infusion Altar and pedestal for these anyway uh which we’ll get to here in just a little bit but I’m going to save enough of my stuff that I’m going to be able to pull it off yeah yeah yeah yeah okay so to make these seeds we do need to make

An infusion Altar and eight infusion pedestals infusion pedestals are gold red wool which that’s going to be a little bit of a pain I’m gonna have to go Shear a bunch of sheep and that’s not that big of a deal and then this one pretty much the same

Okay that’s not a problem that’s not a problem at all at the very least we can kind of get uh our Hopper pot our botany pot done and I can show you I can show you basically how this whole thing is going to work very very quickly

All right let’s do one of these we’re gonna need uh just gonna need five iron boom iron boom wait oh yep got it done cool get this and we’re gonna make Hopper ball a minute flower pot any pot uh cool all right let’s do one more quick thing before I take a break

And we’re going to basically show how this thing is going to work super fast so we’re gonna go ahead and throw this here throw Hopper botany pot there Harvest you give me the seed sweet now I can’t just plant the seed in here because it’s not going to do anything

Requires a specific type of soil to grow so what we need is we need where is it farmland farmland very very simple not complicated we’re just gonna go with the inferium Farmland at first because uh yeah I really don’t have anything better uh because I don’t have an infusion

Crystal but I’ll show you how to do that next as well why is that not working is it this way no uh uh can you tell it’s been a minute since I did this um confirm where are you there we go does it need to be like a better

Oh my gosh it needs to be wooden host don’t hold no that’s that’s fine maybe it needs to be an actual crafting guide let’s try this real quick what oh you know what I know exactly what it is it’s because it’s coarse dirt ain’t this course dirt my bad yep that’s

Exactly what it was might be a good thing to check for when you’re doing this um boom all right and so what this will do each level of the Farmland that I just put in there will make it grow faster and faster but now it will very slowly grow this

Crop which I’m gonna be able to speed it up by getting higher levels of uh this uh this Farmland it’ll grow and once it gets mature like this one it will automatically drop everything into the chest we’re just gonna make this a lot easier and I’m getting this

Done right now because if I can slowly while I’m doing other things I can get it going faster and faster and faster it’s just going to make everything after this so much simpler so I got a few more things uh cooking up and I’ll be right back

Okay lots to do not a lot of time to do it in so what we’re gonna do I need some space and inventory because there’s so much stuff going on we’re gonna make water seeds and dirt seeds uh just to make some room we’re gonna make the last

Of the water agglomeration now it’s handy because you don’t actually lose your bucket when you do it you’ve got four of those this will make sense very soon we’re also going to need two seeds and we only need four dirt We’re not gonna do the dirt yet I’m not gonna do

The dirt yet so in order to do all this I’m gonna have to sleep no that’s not what you want to do but I am gonna have to sleep we need to make one infusion altar we have the stone we have the technology and we’re gonna have to make eight of

The infusion pedestals now I’ve got wool I’ve got a red dye boom you need nine of them easy easy not a problem so we’re gonna make one of these no not five and eight of these boom awesome cool then we’re gonna sleep do and there we go we’re back okay so uh

What we need to do first and foremost is we need to place down the altar somewhere now I like to do it somewhere out of the way I don’t know if I’ve got enough room over here Maybe let’s try yeah yeah yeah this will work this will work this work uh so you can see the ghostly images of where you need to put the other ones down boom

Boom boom boom boom boom boom boom one other thing you’re going to need is a stick like so or a stick and stone to make a switch Yeah okay all right chop chaff you did it you did it I did it yes I did it hooray so

Um from here we have our four water agglomeration to make these water seeds we need ethereum and prosperity seeds now Prosperity seeds are the basis for all of your Mystic Agriculture and they take Prosperity shards this is the only thing you can’t really automate you always

Have to find Prosperity uh shards in you know mining and that sort of thing it is a big pain in the butt it’s a very very very big pain in the butt but but uh it is what it is so it’s not that big of a deal all right

So I have made two other of these guys put uh the Farmland into it so we’re good with that I’m gonna stick the seeds here we’re gonna stick our water agglomeration we’re gonna stick some inferium mm-hmm and keep in mind you don’t actually have to follow the recipe you

Just have to have all eight ingredients into it flip the switch and boom we have water seeds nice and we’re also going to need to make some dirt seeds which sounds so silly and weird and I need to go get some dirt hang on I guess I did not come prepared for

Class my bad um but yeah the the main purpose of doing this is that so we can make as many of the body parts as we want because we have a constant influx of clay I usually wouldn’t do that but this spawn has very very little clay around

It I had to hunt forever to get the stack and a half that I had so rather than have a headache about it I’m just going to be proactive and I’m going to grow my own clay and there we go now the other thing that I want to do

Is I want to get into making better farmland for harvesting faster inferium and to do that we actually need to make a inferium infusion crystal that’s all we can really do right now but that’s not that big of a deal and I will show you how to do that in just a minute

So this is a pretty good use of our first diamond and what we’re going to do Oh yeah yeah no that’s right first it has to be a Pros a Prosperity Diamond I think is the name of it Prosperity gemstone um using a lot of my Prosperity Shard but you’re kind of forced into having to do it this way um because you can’t really make higher levels of

Essence until you start with one of these Sue gonna have to be done it’s a bummer but it is what it is so when you have one of these basically what you can do in order to make credential you have to have four inferium uh with a crystal and

It makes the prudentium ETC et cetera et cetera right well uh we need to get ourselves up as high as we can for the Farmland uh let’s see we need and it needs to be just at least one so we’re gonna take every little bit of

Inferium that we have so far there’s not a lot there but it’s a good amount there and we’re just gonna try and make one spot of Farmland as powerful as possible in order to try and maximize our ability to harvest this stuff and it’ll make sense here in a little bit okay

And see it takes down some of the uses it had 256 now has 218. okay why isn’t that working oh no in order to do that we have to oh I didn’t realize I think this is a change recently um that you have to do to get it up higher

Oh man okay well fine foreign oh wow okay and so now we’re gonna have uh an extra one oh man this is gonna be so annoying uh yeah I guess well see there’s one other seed that I really want to make sure that I make and that’s a redstone seed because

Redstone is actually very difficult to uh it’s very difficult to to achieve um you know what and I’m gonna go ahead and do that I think I’ve got my count right on how much I’m gonna need and we’re gonna do this okay yeah we got tertium Crystal cool not bad not bad not

Bad um I’m trying to do math right now [Laughter] uh I could make this Crystal bigger occurred um but then I can’t make uh it’s a condom whatever it is so what I’m going to do um is I’m going to go ahead and I’m going to do this

I’m going to get one Imperium that’s what it is the names have escaped me at this point you’ll have to forgive me um but there’s a very specific reason why I’m doing it this way so if we grab our dirt one dirt burp oh watch something about this is gonna be

Gonna mean it won’t work oh no it works okay cool all right so we’ve got a level a tier four Mystic agriculture uh farmland and this is specifically to do that and now this thing is going to grow way quicker and we’re gonna Harvest a ton of

This stuff which means then I will be able to increase the size of things quite a bit now what I do is I leave this alone I leave this alone I go find a place to stash all of my extra Mystic agriculture stuff that I am not going to

Be using for a little while and because I’m not going to be able to start working on my uh on the Redstone seeds anytime soon either there’s just a bunch of stuff that I’m gonna have to to do with higher tier stuff um so I’m just gonna leave it alone and

Go work on something else specifically what I’m gonna work on is uh something I’ve been carrying around all the stuff for for a while is uh we’re gonna try out the sophisticated backpacks boom and this way hopefully uh we’ll have a backpack system that will actually work this time let’s see can we

Open this one yes we can cool cool cool cool cool this is great because I don’t always need say well I don’t really need a gold diamond ax but I’m gonna stash that actually in here boom With This Heart don’t need that um but like random tools that I’m just

Not really gonna need to use all that often I can stick like my shears in there my garden hoe flint and steel and that way I can start clearing up this inventory and it doesn’t look so um OCD triggering you know so bucket don’t usually need a bucket very often

Uh you know not bad all right cool um I got a few more things I gotta go uh get working on and I need to do a bunch of Mining and I mean a ton of mining so I’m gonna get to that and I’ll see you

Guys in a little while all right so let’s get some more stuff going here um I randomly found a smithing table smoker a little random things like that but but but but we need to get some power started and we’re also gonna be making this alloy smelter but I’ll get

To that in just a minute so in this pack there’s usually lots and lots of ways to make power but this pack is still kind of in development and there’s a lot of stuff that’s just not in yet so we’re going to use generator Galore uh it is a

Mod that I believe just consumes solid state fuels like coal and things like that and provides power so that’s what we’re going to do now uh in order to do this I think it’s seven we’re gonna need and there uh we’re gonna start out first and foremost with a copper generator

Boom and then we’re gonna upgrade it to an iron generator boom then I said after that as a gold I could probably do it but I don’t have that much gold actually I don’t have enough gold so we’re just gonna have to to go with that for now

So we’ve got a generator doink cool and it does have a little bit of a battery okay cool we’ll see how much you can get out of uh wow actually that’s doing really good wow okay uh let’s see can we make a basic capacitor Bank how much how is that uh

Does it have a recipe yet it does not um so a lot of things in Ender i o right now are not available and it sucks but it is what it is uh so what we need to do is we need to make an alloy shmelter we can’t make this alloy smelter yet

Well yeah we can’t because we need to be able to make dark steel and with dark steel you have to be able to uh make the uh make some alloy smelting using The Primitives so we’re gonna have to do that and we’re also going to have to make a sag Mill

Wait how are we going to do that we need to figure out a way to oh yeah yeah okay cool cool no no I know exactly what we’re doing okay okay so in order to make this we need deep slate we need grains of infinity and three

Furnaces so do I have yeah I do okay so we need three furnaces one two three boom cool also excuse me uh let’s go nap real quick now to make grains of infinity and we’re gonna need a bunch of them so I will show you I tested it just to make sure

That it does work properly um you need either obsidian or crying obsidian you need flint and you need deep slate Cobble deep slate is fine uh we’re just gonna make a few what you’re going to want to do is come up here got my crying obsidian I’m going to

Take my Flint put it in my off hand and I’m going to shift right click also just realize that I have no sound so let’s fix that real quick and 30 is good all right cool and let’s get this rocking um oh oh no oh no

All right so we’ve got some more of these uh greens of infinity and we’re gonna need five deep slate I believe five One two three four five now it would be cool if we could make some power cables I’m gonna see if let’s see conduit the Ender IO conduit is great uh but it looks like we probably can’t because we need to be able to make conductive alloy and we need alloy

Smelting for that that’s copper iron and redstone so you can’t make that yet but that’s okay this is like why we’re here you know we’re we’re processing all this stuff so we can get started with some really basic basic machines um also the update to Mystic agriculture

Is going quite well I’m just coming through picking this stuff doing that coming back over here emptying out this fish I got a couple of uh Little Seeds that I can throw down right now cool good good good we’ll uh make sure the fireball spell is ready in case we come into any

Any people on the street some Tufts trying to steal all of our uh uh Minecrafts I don’t know uh anyway primitive alloy smelter great good yep okay all right stick it right there we’re gonna take some of this coal and we’re gonna stick this here and we need to

Yes that’s what we need okay so what we’re gonna need uh this is just a basic cauldron dark bi-metal gear so in each one of these that’s just iron it says two of these so there’s eight dark Steel plus one for the nuggets and Nine dark Steel

Uh and eleven eleven dark steel okay so we need 11 iron ingots 11 powdered coal and 11 obsidian hold some Flynn you’re offhand and three or more coal in your right hand then shift right click a block of obsidian oh okay so we can Flint knap that stuff so

We need nine of that uh let’s see let’s see what this let’s see what this does okay we’ll see what’s gonna have to happen and I will tell you I’m gonna have to take a pause so I can go and get some more obsidian uh because it is a a

Big pain in the butt to get um but that is why I do have a diamond pickaxe and I had to use some of my last diamonds on very sad very sad uh let’s see okay cool boom I only got four out of that what

No uh and then it starts to rain and then it starts to rain ah man all right I’m gonna go get the uh more coal convert this to the powdered coal and go get some obsidian I’ll be right back all right and we’re back so what we need to

Do uh we need nine of these dark steel we need iron powdered and obsidian so nine let’s get the three uh we need only nine of that one two three up there and there boom and slowly but surely slowly slowly and surely we’re gonna get ourselves this uh dark uh steel ingot

Uh we are gonna need three furnaces for this as well let’s see do we have enough sure do okay we’re gonna need uh void chassis void chassis so we need some iron bars that’s pretty easy and we can make one of those cool done uh we can make a cauldron very simple

Very easy and cool done and these bi-metal gears we’re gonna need two of these Infinity by metal gears yes so I think we got that okay cool so all we really need is this stuff to be done and then we’re good then we’re good and it’s gonna take a minute okay fantastic

Thank you and the last one’s cooking we can actually get started with this right here I was looking at some other uh storage options Allure smelter boom gotta make thee oh uh uh did I miscalculate I did I totally did I need two more oh man come on really

Well it’s a good thing that I noticed you know that that that would have been very embarrassing if I had if I had filmed myself making that mistake gosh can you even imagine that would be so embarrassing so very embarrassing um right so anyway uh some things I’m

Not gonna need I don’t need these nuggets right now those are fine I can get that out of there uh we’re gonna be fine with no iron for right now so this stuff is going to be the the alloy smelter is very very helpful I the the way or doubling doesn’t really exist

On this game is kind of frustrating the only real uh super easy way to double or as far as I’ve been able to find like take a look versus let’s take a look at gold uh gold you make with Mystic agriculture of course um if you want to smelt it uh you have

The options of crushed raw gold which could be through create and that can double sure um but there’s usually just uh gold dust is your option for or doubling honestly that that’s that’s really about as as far as I’ve been able to find so far unless there’s like a maybe a magic way

Of doing it I I don’t know but this is the same you know there’s no other new interesting ways to do it so Gold Dust the only way to double up your ore is using these ore Hammers and that’s really about it that’s all you can really do and that’s not

That’s not great it’s not really you know what what I’m looking for so I want to be able to automate it to get double the stuff uh so it’s it’s it’s kind of uh kind of frustrating and I’m hoping that maybe one of the packs that makes that uh

Makes a change in that will will happen soon um there might be something that I’m missing too there was a a a a a mod pack or not a mod pack but a mod that I’ve never used um let’s see are we getting any oh I

Need a capacitor to even make this thing work I forgot that about that uh like it’s a that’s an Ender IO thing uh you can make stronger capacitors to make these machines better but the base capacitor is a copper and gold we can do that that’s easy okay boom boom got it

Very very basic machine but now we have effectively a powered where is it I’m looking for something that I want to smell what do I want to smell what do I even want to smell to this point you know what I mean like let’s do some osmium just because

And there goes and we can throw some coal into here try and keep up with it and it will boom and it’s cool because it will actually cook three at a time which is very very useful um so yeah there we go we have some very

Basic power uh and from here we’re gonna be able to expand stuff through the Ender i o system uh some of it’s going to be pretty hard but a lot of this is really going to come down to some resources I’m going to be relying on Mystic agriculture despite the fact that

I would rather not have to do that that’s exactly what’s gonna happen so yep I’ll be back in a little while all right we’re back and I have been working on lots of random stuff I’ll check this out I got this little little trophy of the you know Luton that’s kind of cute

Kind of cute kind of cute uh you might notice that these chests look a little bit different and they are bigger uh this is a sophisticated storage mod uh there’s always like these types of mods and packs um this is I guess the current iteration I think the first one was called

Uh just iron chests I think is what it was but what we need to do is so over there we have a chest with some of our like magical stuff uh we’re gonna go ahead and upgrade it and I’ll show you how to do that this is a basic tier upgrade

And when we go over here you go shift right click change is really nothing but you can then go over here and do one of these basic to iron shift right click and something’s bigger wowzers wowzers um yeah and I I really my organization on this is not fantastic right now I

Need to figure some more of that stuff out um but basically I’m putting kind of like enchantable stuff uh magical stuff potions and things into uh this one for now and uh yeah I’ll have to like reorganize everything later but whatever um I have some new spells I looted a

Bunch more Scrolls so now I have a shield spell a heal spell on my uh very basic book and then over here I have a uh hammer spell this is actually kind of cool it’s pretty neat Pretty neat um this one is probably one of my favorite check this out you got summon a horse special horse special horse gotta run fast all right cool thank you thank you ghost horse uh we have uh two like lobbing like creeper head bomb attack things it’s really weird uh one is a

Singular one that’s a big bomb one sends out three like doesn’t really look that impressive but you know it is what it is um yeah and then the shield actually puts up like an intangible wall that like will block shots and stuff like that and then there’s also a heal spell

So anyway against my better judgment I don’t even have really a sword I just have spells and this is probably a very big mistake but next thing I really need to start thinking about is going into the leather is there anything over here that I should have grabbed blank

Bad place to get shot with an arrow hmm yeah okay and so we are back and I have been doing lots and lots and lots of stuff so I’ve got three of these inferium in the blue dirt uh trying to make too much of that Essence as I can

Um and we’re up to a supremium infusion Crystal which is not bad but only one insanium so far the whole purpose of this is that we can make a crystal that has unlimited uses and then we don’t have to really worry about it after that which will be

Um fantastic and useful and uh definitely needs to happen but that’s going to take like a few days um I’ve also gotten to loot many many many many many many many more spells so what I think we’re gonna do is I think we’re gonna do some more of iron spells and spell books

Um and we’re gonna try and get a little bit further into that mod um and from there I’ve got a couple of ideas so one thing that I did notice that we need where did that go where are my potatoes there’s my potatoes we need I think we need eight

I think we need eight okay what I want to do I want to first and foremost we’ll go up here we’re gonna go at iron and we’re gonna make the Epic book we could make the rare but we’re just gonna go ahead and go for the Epic because

Um why not you know it might as well might as well uh we are gonna need some wool but it doesn’t have to necessarily be a colored wool so we’re gonna have to go get wool and what was the other thing we’re gonna need uh bucket yep yep yep okay so

Let’s go share some sheep see if I can just pick it up from here I can sweet good good uh we’re gonna go back into here and we also have to grab ours some of this Arcane essence so what we’re gonna do we need two Arcane cloths one two cool

We need uh we have four hog skin right now we need to pull out two diamonds we need an enchanted book now in order to do this you need a poison bucket and a book and with poison bucket one of the easiest ways to do it is that is not how

I wanted to do it uh is with poisonous potatoes and so if you I had to search around and keep digging around until I got a poisonous potato but that will get us all we need for that then we go here poison bucket done unfortunately that did get rid of our

Buckets we’re gonna make another one uh while we’re crafting because you always need buckets or in a book uh book cool good uh there we go enchanted book perfect perfect perfect and then uh diamonds one two four and boom so now this will hold eight spells and

We can put uh what was it a rare and epic spells in here I don’t know if I I do have an epic I have angel wings oh dude oh dude okay so before we do that though before we get ahead of ourselves first and foremost I also want to make some armor

Now this armor should be pretty easy to make with everything that we have I want to make this scarecrow armor uh it gives extra Mana there are more powerful armors like the pyromancer will give you more Mana per per thing but I don’t think I have enough rooms to dilute any runes

Well they’re blank Rune Stones how do I inscribe them well that one takes blaze rods that one takes frozen bone lining in a bottle oh man if only we had some ender pearls that would be easy um let’s see holy rune Divine pearls I have a bunch of divine

Pearls but I don’t think I have enough of those blood runes no I don’t even know what that is uh evocation ooh hang on do I have enough and like I so I’m curious about this because I can tell you right now I don’t have enough Arcane Arcane Essence to make

These that’s that’s really like the biggest part of it but I think that this is something that we can work towards in the future I don’t think that’s going to be that hard but for right now we’re definitely gonna make scarecrow because we don’t have nearly enough

Mana for what we’re trying to do right now and it’s pretty simple we need some pumpkin we need leather and some hay bales hay bales are super easy okay I don’t know if we have enough hay bill or we’ll have enough uh wheat for that but we’re gonna try

Knew I should have been harvesting this stuff regularly it’s one of those things I’ve found hay bales all over but I haven’t bothered to pick them up you know it’s just one of those things that you just don’t really think about it we could definitely make the hat and that’s about it

I okay so I’m gonna go uh get some hay I’ll be right back oh yeah I should probably talk about this so um we have the mod artifacts and I found a bunch of them so far like the Panic necklace increases the words moment speed of Team

Damage of a knock back on my hands increase attack speed these are ones that I looted from the same magic mod I have a freezing immunity and Fire Resistance this makes me immune to Lava damage which is great bunny Hoppers which is one of the best ones in the game increase jump height

And grants immunity to fall damage it’s so cheesy it’s so cheesy and I just got this one superstitious hat an extra level of looting to killed entities super cool super super cool so I am gonna go find some hay okay yeah I had to look it up so this might be a little
