Exploring Nether Jungle Lakes & Rivers

Hello world de here welcome um yeah spooky guy congrats for being early um I am unfortunately the opposite of early I’m fashionably late uh my apologies for that but uh here we are and uh ready to uh continue some work on the hardcore world don’t need to be recording we’re

Literally recording on YouTube because we’re like streaming and recording the footage but you know like whatever okay we have our shaders we have the uh thing here um see I have some frog lights going on here um so yeah I want to uh stupid skeleton what I want to do with the Frog

Lights is basically have like some fences um fences and frog lights and that will make like some underwater fungus that I can put in like the uh deep part of the lake here um because yeah it’s it’s pretty deep so it would be it would make sense to have

Some like uh and there like steep sides so I could have like some fungus cling to the sides um uh milka welcome to the stream how’s it going um currently a bunch of water and the nether ceiling is uh what’s up but uh yeah I am uh just

Doing some work on on um terraforming the Nether um I decided that the nether was like a bit too like much like of a place of fire and lava and that like wasn’t really my style so uh yeah I’m going with uh with something a bit less fiery

Um what was I getting oh yeah some uh fences yeah I want I want some uh ow or fences guess we could also get some Crimson fences do not need shaders in the end um if anything they’ll just add lag okay Okay uh yeah we wanted some uh so let’s go to the tree farm um wait no I should stop by an Ender Chest first and uh grab some warped nyum uh what am I doing down here yeah we’ll just need a couple of those because I don’t have my silk touch

Pickaxe I lost it somewhere or no I think it broke while I was like terraforming the nether uh okay now where is that uh okay yeah the tree farm is this way up here um oh I had an Ender Chest here I didn’t need to uh reach in and like whatever but

Uh let’s go here this is the en xo4 Tree Farm in case anyone was uh wondering oh yeah now I’ll have to deal with this clown uh okay this says flip up for nether fungi so uh that is what we’re doing we’re doing warp fungus so yeah that works um

I just realized I need to uh actually get some warp fungus um so uh where could that stuff be okay yeah it’s probably this way um how did I get water in the nether uh Magic oh I should have oh that could have been that could

Have been the end of my hardcore world where the hell are my Rockets uh yeah that could have been very bad uh we need to go to the nearest end chest immediately and uh got some Rockets I I I don’t know what on Earth happened to my Rockets

Um what a way to go that would have been just like slowly sinking into the voids unable to do anything about my inevitable demise uh that would have been like a one of the uh streaming moments of all time for sure uh okay this time we have Rockets I know

Because they’re in my hot bar so uh yeah let’s do this again let’s try this again oh I guess it would have been fine since like uh since like yeah um I wasn’t over the void anyway but uh where are those pesky warped fungi I think we’re going to need a few

More than that uh why do I have a singular kelp doesn’t make a whole lot of sense going to put it away let’s collect up some some uh of this come on give me those uh warped fungi not the stupid warped Roots it’s not what I want or these

Nether Sprouts why why are nether Sprouts in the game anyway they’re just like completely uh completely random and forgettable plants like I I don’t really think about nether Sprouts except when I’m thinking like hm what other vegetation can I add to this build and that’s the only time

They ever really like come up in my mind see if we can get ourselves a clean stack of these guys I should really make a farm for this okay yeah that’s that’s not a stack like whatever uh okay I did not intend to land up Here yeah we are over uh dry land so we can do that uh lazy Greeno uh you almost missed you kind of missed a near-death experience but also like not really like I was like walking down this hallway when I realized that I didn’t have Rockets but I think it would have been

Fine even if I hadn’t noticed because if you look like uh below it I I would have been totally fine I have no idea where I put my Rockets CU last time I remembered they were in my inventory but yeah stuff gets shuffled around I have like awful Inventory management okay uh

Let’s do this right this time I should really like also tidy this up and like make a proper like okay now remind me how I like uh how did I wait are we sure that this is this lever is in the right position that could be important it

Says flip up for nether fungi brown mushrooms and jungle trees okay that makes sense is there anything there that I have to EXC wait where’s that what’s that lever is that important uh where is that lever haven’t used this Farm in a hot minute so uh I don’t think that lever does

Anything so we’ll just leave it alone um also welcome to the stream uh lazy Gro okay uh I hope I don’t blow up the farm but I think it would go like this and then let me check the en x4’s video I’ll just put it on mute so it doesn’t

Okay and then where’s the on switch for this thing again is there an on switch or do I just like start farming okay I have fallen wait how do I activate this do I turn on the farm uh sorry I’m stupid I’m trying to figure out this uh

Is there like a CLI where he I’m so confused um where is the on switch for this tree farm this is why you don’t build farms without understanding them uh the hell um I don’t know if this is the right lever but I’m just going

To I don’t I don’t think this is the right lever but I’m just going to flip it and see if it does anything if not I’ll flip it back I don’t think that did anything I’ll just flip it back uh there’s like a wait is this the

Is like removing this redstone torch is that is that how is that really what did I not have like a proper on switch for this let’s remove okay oops okay yeah here we go okay mission accomplished yeah okay we are getting in some uh decent yield of uh

Fungi that took way longer than it had to but uh yeah we’re in business now and yeah I’m not using a totem cuz like you can’t use this Farm while holding a totem so I just have to hope that nothing comes and kills me if anything wait what this is wrong hold

On uh I need a fresh supp bone meal okay that’ll keep us going for a little while all right yeah I really need to clean up clean up this area and like uh make it presentable and do some proper spawn proof thing CU right now it’s just kind of a

Mess so I don’t even know if I can like properly spawn proof this far so maybe I should maybe I have to have like just 70 zombie villagers in the basement maybe I can work that into the uh design somehow oh here we go again we’re also getting some shroom

Lights which I guess is nice it feels like it’s like doesn’t work and it’s like completely inefficient but I I guess it’s like working as intended there’s definitely like some loss of items though I wonder if it’s just a function of how the farm is built

Oo that one grew in the first dry well that one grow the first try sorry I can’t reach out right now cuz I’m like can’t really navigate away from this tab but I will as soon as I’m done with this uh okay I think that

Uh this really is how I farm I just remove that redstone torch I don’t know why I thought it would be a good idea to do things that way but uh oh okay uh there’s my elytra And okay um is that all oh wait like two stacks though it’s kind of disappointing for oh there’s the rest uh okay zo The Hoppers like uh okay we got about like three stacks of uh logs from that oh I was going to check the chat yeah nothing happened

Okay that makes sense I was just farming um I should really like streamline this uh Farm though I don’t know if I want shroom lights but I guess I’ll just try and yo some just the same smooth smooth let’s go for another round check the other chest okay we got some shroom lights

Um well I think I will be mostly using these verdant frog lights uh this should be in why is there a random Cherry sapling here I don’t know I guess I do some cherry farming at some point but it’s funny how like all this crap is still here maybe it doesn’t really

Work for uh cherry blossoms as well as it should but we can just toss those in there uh what happened to to all the Crimson wood I don’t know where I put all the Crimson wood cuz I thought some Crimson fences as well as warp fences would be

Cool for the uh mushrooms but uh I guess we are only doing ORS because I have no idea where the Crimson stuff went actually that’s a lie I think it might be uh at the uh at one of the construction sites for the uh void station so I’ll just check the

Shulkers maybe this one if I go down no OD I thought it would have been here um n Scandal um welcome good day how’s it going um hope you’re enjoying I am uh I did some uh warped fungus uh farming and uh so I can get some warped fences and

I’m also trying to find my uh stash of uh Crimson wood oh okay here shulker stairs look at that that’s funny uh only 19 that’s a little less than I would have hoped for but uh yeah we are going to uh Commander this um this box okay

Um I guess there’s nothing here then very well I will just get going another uh module of my uh storage system uh spooky guy says I’m in the top uh 1% of Axe PVP I think let’s go nice nice impressive is that PVP Legacy

Ourselves some fences that’ll get us started and uh put the chest plate on it’s easier to swim I think the chest Plate and yeah let’s uh how do it how does it look with complimentary it’s like to Orange in uh sers let’s try complimentary I feel like the water is better with uh wait hang on uh settings uh preference settings okay yeah I don’t really want to see the uh light levels in

Here now let’s uh I don’t I don’t think we need all four of these let’s just stick with like one okay yeah I think I think this is a good look is there any lore in my hardcore World um well um another jum which is what you see

Here was created basically created by the Steves as a giant like you to the gods um I guess that counts as lore um but yeah they basically wanted to thumb their nose at the gauze and their ridiculous Notions that uh water doesn’t belong in the nether so they made this thing just absolutely

Went to town with the nether water I wonder what the Mojang devs would say if they saw this like would they be pissed that I’m like uh um that I like have water in the nether or would they appreciate the uh creative uh Endeavor that’s what I would like to know

Okay yeah we’re going to have to uh add some kelp here I’m going to get rid of that kelp line I just wanted to uh turn that into water sources But there we go yeah I really like these Vibes I guess we didn’t use the uh Crimson after all but like I I think uh this is a good like uh way to build fungi for like uh for like the underwater and the cave systems I think they’re nice fungi

Um the Steves uh worship themselves um hello K welcome to the stream how’s it going and uh yeah um the Steves are basically like basically it’s uh a self worshipping theocracy so like they worship themselves and do all all the Steves all have the power they don’t really need a hierarchy

Um all right I would say that this is done um wait do we put glow like in around the Frog lights does that look better or worse maybe around some of them but not others does they do sort of have a Vibe maybe they can be around like

Especially around the young ones to like signify that they’re like not mature or something but yeah it’s kind of a look um yeah glow Len is very great wait there’s an end Church who’s who’s talking about an end Church oh oh is it that Temple that uh

Leads to the void to uh void station um oh yeah so the L of void station which is where I was like farming warp fungus is that oh wait hold on I missed a uh I missed a dirt patch it’s supposed to be mud and there’s supposed to be a drip

Leaf on there but um yeah the L with void station is that um basically the Steves created it as a like sort of a last save place if like ever hit the fan and the gods decided to Smite them down um like uh yeah the void station is basically

Like their Sanctuary so it’s equipped with everything like the Steves could need okay yeah we’ll do like the shore vegetation later along like when we do the rest of like the other jungle vegetation but for now like the vegetation in the water itself is complete and

Uh I have to say it’s quite a Vibe um okay uh is there any Cobblestone here so I can make some extras to keep Pistons but yeah I’m too I’m too lazy to go looking for uh Cobble and iron so I guess I’ll just stick with the uh

Pistons I have I have a mangrove rout oh wait no I wanted to uh properly touch up the uh oh no let’s take these uh oh wait what there’s another dirt patch hold on I can’t believe I keep missing these there’s like two of them we could also throw in

Uh you know what I’ll I’ll skip the lilypads for this one and put them on like a shallower one of the shallower ponds gas is worrying me there we go um what did he even spawn on I don’t know uh okay I don’t see any other dirt

Patches that should have drip leaf on them uh what do I toss this kelp yeah let’s toss the kelp and yeah naturally we have a waterfall here wouldn’t be complete without one um so yeah let’s stick some C waterfall probably use uh shears to stop it from going out of control

Um and like just making a mess of the whole thing like we want the uh we want the uh kelp growth to be controlled okay um and we also need some sea pickles where are those stupid sea pickles there we go okay so yeah we use kelp to like basically turn it into

A into a water source quickly and then we uh and then we break out the uh sea pickles this one should already be a water source okay the uh thing is all lit up now we should have some glow Len on there just for second

Thought I don’t know I feel like it make a yeah I don’t know I think the glow like make too much of a mess so would it though yeah yeah definitely okay Mr piglin uh let’s see how you like the uh let’s see how you like being in the water ah stupid

Welcome uh welcome to the stream sorry sorry I missed you for so long but um basically I used uh snapshot 213a and like put glow like in into lava which made it water for some reason uh it was a 1.17 snap snapshot it’s like or yeah

No 1.17 snapshot it’s like a very old uh yeah I’m obviously not still in the snapshot but like um I did revert back to 213a like two years ago to uh get the water in the nether like this nether ocean is 2 years old um in fact you’re soon going to see like

How I uh um expanded uh yeah yeah I did change to an old version like two years ago um Greg welcome this uh thank thanks for uh thanks for coming by and yeah I feel like this is uh shaping up to be a pretty Nirvana build

Um okay what was I going to do oh yeah I was going to go down this waterfall and basically just uh yeah it’s not as effective with uh I guess this is just uh flowing water but like whatever we’ll worry about that later I think it’s funny how there’s

Just like water flowing out into the NE but yeah this is going to be like a cave anyway so and we’re doing the caves later so it doesn’t make sense to uh do it now yeah we’ll go easy on the kelp here since again this is like supposed to be a uh shallow

Cool so yeah we have like a lot of uh whoops uh I have a lot of drip Leaf some kelp here and there not much but a little bit um yeah I will okay yeah and I think we can put like one more uh sea pickle thing in

Um yeah I I did actually uh get some minor corruption like uh when I refered from 1 17 back to uh the snapshot like uh the Deep slates in like my uh Overworld base disappeared and like it ruined the roof of my spawn chunk base but like that was pretty easy

To uh repair um and uh didn’t take long didn’t take that long all things can out to get back get it back good as new like I dragged my feet a lot but like it wasn’t that much actual effort Um okay what are we going to put here uh let’s go back and find some lily pads umbe we can also stick some small trip Leaf in this Pond like it can be like native to this this one particular Pond that is a lot of mobs

Over there like a lot of piglins and hoglins I would not want to be in the middle of that especially without my chest plate uh okay we have our dirt uh what else do we want from here um where did I put the lily pads are you seeing seeing the lily pads

Anywhere cuz I know I had them but like they’re gone now I can at least fetch some of the uh small drip Leaf maybe uh I know I have some small drip leaf in here too um small drip Leaf small drip Leaf that’s big drip Leaf small drip Leaf

Okay yeah we will use those 15 smold Lea plans I just don’t know where the uh lily pads went could they be over here could I have left a shulker here no yeah I I don’t know where my lily pads got to it’s annoying I might have to go back

To the Overworld um and get some Lolly pads um spooky guy says computer can’t handle that there’s water in the nether that that’s actually not a problem like uh water in the nether exists perfectly fine the the only thing that’s a problem is placing water with a

Bucket that is uh that doesn’t work but uh it doesn’t need to as you may have seen from my uh streams there are other ways to get water in the nether I’ll some I’ll put some leaves uh hello why are you here uh okay oh there there are the

Lolli pads they were like staring me right in the face okay um do you not have someone else to bother you stupid piglin okay I love of the piglins are just like casually strolling into the water and like um okay uh okay yeah that’s that’s going to be a problem uh like uh

At some point if I ever want to uh drain that lava down there um for like a cave system or something it’s going to be annoying to uh have that there um but yeah let’s just uh let’s just get a bunch of uh dirt in place to uh be turned into mud

I should also like uh put these in while I remember oops that is a little bit funny but like a little goofy but whatever wait it’s not supposed to be on dirt it’s supposed to be on mud because uh otherwise it would do a piss for job of blending In as long as you keep as long as you like don’t run out of like drip leaves you can pill her up with drip leaves which is uh I guess mildly interesting maybe not really I don’t know um uh spooky guy says I was here when he

Was halfway done with the nether build like the nether Fortress Oh you mean like the uh the nether uh the nether Hub yeah that thing that’s not actually like a nether fortress it’s just like some random patch of nether uh yeah Greg the piglin dared to exist in

My presence piglins can’t be allowed to exist uh I’m sorry that that’s just a fact like P piglins existing are very offensive um oh wow okay yeah you remember the lava extermination we might actually have to do do some more lava Exterminating in the near future because

Uh there are uh some leaks that uh are currently covered in lava and uh so yeah we’re going to have to do something about that yeah let’s just uh really make this like full of greenery uh um stick some leaves here and there and yeah this is like a very a

Very Greenery filled Pond um but yeah okay um this is the moment that some of you may or may not have been waiting for I would say it’s the moment you’ve all been waiting for but that’s probably a bit extreme um but yeah we are going to

Um expand the nether I’m going to show you how I expand the uh nether water into uh unfamiliar wait no I I think I think I would rather uh expand it from the other pond maybe Okay yeah good that guy just despawns very well but yeah we we basically want to expand uh oh right it’s a Crimson Forest basically want to no wait actually I’ll go back to uh this one over here I think it’s the most efficient way to uh

Go about this so what we’re going to do is take this okay you can see all the obsidian here I’ve really like made a mess of things but yeah what we’re going to do is put that uh Mangrove route there it’ll be water logged should water locked got some water

Locked and then uh yeah because we’re underwater we’re going to need to do this a bit uh differently but yeah these blocks are temporary we’ll get rid of them soon but uh as you can see the uh water has been expanded so yeah now we’re just going to

Have to uh repeatedly do this um uh Alamos welcome to the stream um I got the water from uh from the uh glow Lan glitch and uh yeah now I’m just using some uh 1.19 magic to expand it um a bit since uh this is obviously not enough water you know

Okay we’re going to have to uh break these and oops carry on like so okay I don’t know how high this has to be I think like 45 should be sufficient to uh get it over whoops I I don’t know how how this works or why

I I just know that it works and uh leave such intricate questions to the uh technical Minecraft Community they can figure this one out um n Scandal says it feels like The Lion King moments uh wait I’m not I’m not entire I haven’t haven’t seen the lion

King um I I might get like roasted or crucified or something for that but uh I’m not entirely familiar with uh what the uh The Lion King moment might be uh yeah we’ll do one more just to be safe and then we’ll start uh moving it sideways

Any on this is just a very nice way to uh basically move water in the nether without making a mess of it instead of a bucket I have a uh a uh Mangrove root and a piston or a lot of Pistons actually please don’t tell me

Those Pistons landed in the lava okay no I got all my Pistons back um uh oh yeah spooky guy the pickaxe is fine like you can still see a little red um like as long as the durability bar isn’t all black the uh durability is fine Perfect

Landing especially as I’m like not doing any active mining right now okay this is how we do it okay I think we can go the other way now okay uh yeah we’re definitely going to lose some of those Pistons maybe or maybe we can keep them all I don’t

Know I think we’re somehow going to keep all the Pistons and not have any of them I spoke too soon one of the Pistons will fall into lava I got cocky um okay okay got 12 Pistons have been recover oh oh wait no I did get all the Pistons cuz

I had 13 and uh yeah there are 13 is right there on that Cliff Edge talk about the Cliff Hanger all right uh where is that oh okay there it is look so trippy seeing like a uh little thing of uh water right there and yeah we’re just going to move

This into the pond and then break it and and there we can use kelp and bone meal to uh spread it excuse me well that was rude okay says uh um funny how you’re just casually pushing a water block across the nether with pistons um you know what I I think I’m

Going to pin that comment because it’s just absolutely true um I am indeed uh just casually pushing uh water across the nether with pistons um nothing to see here just you know moving uh moving some water you know um I have water over there and I

Want it to be over there so uh I break out the old uh the trusty old uh um mangr root and piston setup like I said I don’t I don’t know why this works I don’t know how it works I just do it I don’t know what I would have done

Um uh pre 1.19 though like without the mangrove Roots I I guess I would have had to uh um I guess I would have had to uh rely on some uh setup to um like uh move it across like uh across the upper NE NE

And then drop it down like I did for the original ocean um but yeah that’s a pain in the ass I’m glad I didn’t have to do that okay one more and then we have to push it down although yeah like I said I do genuinely

Wonder like if the people at Mojang knew about this would they be pissed or pissed off or impressed uh okay so yeah we have our water we do need some kelp though so I’m going to run and grab some kelp that’s not kelp but uh what okay

Right we’re in hogland country now I have to remember that and respect the uh customs with the land by aggressively eating pork chops Um okay I made that up uh okay yeah how dare he exist in Front of Me Okay um okay so yeah we’re just going to spread this water with some uh bone this is what we do when we want to uh spread the water and not just move it

Um a little both that seems fair um they probably that I I can totally see that okay yeah they would be both pissed and impressed or or maybe they deliberately added a bug like with the glow Len um so that uh people would have like that little window of opportunity to get

Water in the nether without having to go all the way back to like 1.3 and every few years they just like have uh nether water glitches so that people can get water in the nether I guess this is like a pretty chill and easy goinging like shape

Because the uh it appears to be filling up pretty easily there aren’t a lot of like uh weird uh bends or Cliffs too or overhangs to deal with okay I take that back there’s like a little bit of a mess here uh wait sure that’s not everything okay

Yeah there is a little bit of a this right here okay there’s also like bit of something here bit of a problem here um okay I need to work out like uh how to be able to read chat on my phone again so that like I can actually pay attention to chat cuz

Is um I I feel like that would be better for the streams if I were able to do that um my pickaxe okay yeah there we go okay let’s put a kelp in there look get a source and okay we also have to do that over here okay that mostly fixes the problem

There is just this little patch here and let fix like so look at that we have ourselves a pond another Pond okay now we just remove this kelp and uh we will place vegetation in a more organic fashion in here [Applause] okay we will also need to grab some bone meal

Though this cute little pond wait oh yeah that idiot hogin can’t even swim so just going to get stuck um oh wait no he’s coming across that’s what I thought and look at you you coward hiding behind the drip Leaf um yeah indeed yep water is yummy stay hydrated guys okay like this

Little area could benefit I can’t tell if this is meant to be a cave or I mean I think it’s meant to be a cave um so make into a cave hello darkness Place welcome how’s it going um as you can see we have uh been

Expanding the water in the Nether and uh just making this area a bit more like uh the NE should be um so let’s add some uh kelp okay and let’s also add some glow L too give it a bit of light here and there especially in like the depths glow

Len is appropriate here Al I feel like glow Len is just like one of those uh plants it survives anywhere even though it technically isn’t a plant at all but survives anywhere um I am rather pissed off by how much the Enderman have been like ruining my terrain though like they just all

Over my terrain basically uh what was I getting glow L yeah okay uh ow oh no okay for that didn’t do any damage but that was close um you know what let’s just oh no wait no that that made everything worse I was trying to like fix this I

Guess it somehow like didn’t destroy the drip leaves okay just give me some Moss let’s this is nothing a little Moss can’t patch up yeah there we go uh um darkest plays uh glad to hear you are doing well um and yeah thanks for uh checking out the stream

Again and okay yeah let’s just uh take a boat down a waterfall oh I destroyed lily pads I just landed on lily pads and instantly destroyed them okay there we go okay I think there should be yeah there’s some glow Len In Here glow Len is a very nice uh block to build With okay that’s enough glow I can um let’s do sea pickles next ow okay this is the Auto se pickle Mega Uber SE pickle farm 9,000 um so yeah let’s uh get a few stacks of cicles going yeah I will check chat as soon as I’m finished with okay yeah that was pretty

Quick um Darkness Place says casually flying with a Riptide Trident in the freaking nether yep that is what we do Darkness place we use Riptide Trident in the nether that was the whole reason I did this build you know so that I could uh get around the nether with Riptide

Uh we’re going to I think throw another stack on yeah we just uh rip tied through the nether one of the best one of the most satisfying things and like one thing that I did a lot while I was flooding the nether ocean um was to uh kill a g kill gas with

Riptide like I would just fly up and RAM them and kill them um my Trident at yeah there we go ow it does save on Rockets too so it’s just really a great transport solution uh Darkness plays my pi a is fine um it has 200 durability which is like

Almost a full iron pickaxe but uh um but like it has Unbreaking three so really it’s like half a diamond pickaxe and like you wouldn’t be panicking uh over durability if your like diamond pickaxe was half broken so like we’re totally fine okay um oh there’s like a pigin hunt going

Beyond in those mountains um yeah uh 6 69 is a beautiful number no Sophie you’re not the only one that gets harassed by Ghasts like they’re I I I think the Endermen are the worst though because they just like take blocks and ruin my terraforming and then they sometimes like just place them
