Hello everyone it’s big tony here and welcome back to my channel in today’s video we’re going to be building this cute little elvis style cottage that you see behind me and texture pack i’m using is called mizuno 16 craft i’ll put a link to it in the description But this house looks just fine on default too so without further ado let’s get started here i have the outline in place if you need to copy this just pause it for a second and do that so we’re going to start with some oak logs and we’ll build them up two in each Of the corners once you have that we can take some stone bricks and we’ll fill in the rest of the wall parts in between the logs next we’re going to take some stone brick walls i’ll put two on each end like so and then i’ll log on top a sideways log Then we’ll continue these sideways logs going all the way across same thing on this side a stone brick wall with a sideways log on top and just continue sideways and do the same thing on this end as well and then we’ll just continue our sideways logs on top of the rest of the Stone brick once you have that we’re going to take some oak stairs and put three upside down stairs on the ends and two buttons on the ends of the logs same thing on the other two sides so three upside down stairs and then two buttons on the ends Next we can take some oak planks and fill this floor in with at the level of the logs so the next thing we’re going to do is make a little stairway leading up to the door so we’ll take a full stone brick block over two and then another and then a Stair on top and then two full stone brick blocks like so next we’ll take four oak stairs leading up we can replace these two logs with oak planks next we’ll build an entryway so i’m gonna start with three full oak plank blocks on each side and then two oak playing stairs facing inwards Two upside down stairs and two more normal stairs like so next i’m going to take some grass blocks and i can put three on top of these three upside down oak plank stairs then i’m going to surround them with acacia trap doors if you’re on default i’d recommend using spruce trap doors Then i’m going to go around to the other three sides and do the same thing next we can build up all of these oak logs up by two more in all of the corners and then on these flower planters that we just made you can fill them in with your favorite flowers So once we’ve done that we can get started on the frame of the roof so i’ll start with a prismarine stair and then an oak stair then we’ll put an upside down oak plank stair and then a slab underneath this there then we’re gonna go two full blocks and Then another stair on top we’ll continue this on the other side as well so i have an oak stair with a slab underneath an upside down looks there and then two full blocks with a stair on top then two upside down stairs then a one full block on each side two stairs And in between right here we’re going to go with an upside down stair and then a full block on top now that we have that frame in place we can start building in the walls so we’ll go with some white wool leave a three tall one wide space for the window Here and then one more block on top so something like that now we can copy this on the other three sides so do the same wall the three tall window same thing over here then we can start filling in the frame of the roof for these ones too so we got The prismarine stair and then an oaks there underneath we’ll do an oak slab upside down same thing over here in oak stair upside down nook stair oak slab then two full oak plank blocks and a stair on top two upside down stairs then one full plank block and then a Stair on each side in the middle we’ll do an upside down stair and then a full plank block now in this third and final side we’re just going to copy what we just did next we can take some oak slabs and connect the tops of these roofs Just like this i’ll do bottom slabs so they’re half a block below the frame we can fill in this wall with too tall with white wool same with these walls on the sides here and over here too you can replace these logs in the corners with the white wool Next we’re going to take some prismarine and finish filling in our roof so a line of stairs and two lines of full prismarine blocks and a line of stairs then a line of full blocks and finally a line of stairs and then we’ll repeat this on the other sides Now we’ll go ahead and take some glass to fill in the windows i’m using blue stained glass which looks really good with mizuno’s texture pack if you’re on default i recommend just using plain glass so next we’re going to make a chimney two chimneys actually so we’ll start With one right where these intersect two blocks and then a wall and then an iron trapdoor i should say those are diorite blocks and a diorite wall too it’s next we’re gonna go diagonally like this i’ll build this one up to one block higher than the other Chimney then a wall and an iron trap door now we’ve got our chimney the only downside to this chimney is that it doesn’t produce smoke anyway we’re gonna put a torch on the wall here then we’ll put a double wide door on the inside here and then we’ll put four trap doors And flip them and these are spruce trap doors and doors next we’re going to go over on this side and make a sort of patio so first we’ll take some stone brick blocks extend this out by two three it’ll be as wide as a stone brick Then on the logs we’re gonna put stairs going all the way around so in all it should be four wide and then as long as the house here we’re going to make a little entryway so three oak plank blocks with stairs the same way as we did the front entrance Then we can just break all this stuff in the inside and put two upside down stairs like this and put two stairs leading up to the door which will be right here so i’ll place those logs without planks and with two trap doors and two doors take our spruce trap doors Flip them there are two doors right here now let’s work on this patio a little bit i’m actually going to replace these stairs with full blocks all of them except for the two stairs directly in front of the door so i’ll leave these two as stairs and replace these ones Replace the rest of them with full blocks next we’re going to make a little covered area seating area so take our oak fences make it four wide get rid of this one right here so we it four wide and three tall next we’re gonna put campfires on top Leading all the way to the roof of the house use a shovel to extinguish them then we’re going to take some oak leaves and mix it in to look like plants on top of the shade or cover or whatever you call it and if you want you can have them kind Of hanging over the edge so now we just have a few final details to decorate the exterior first we’re going to take some leaves and create some bushes around the base of the house and next to those bushes we’re also going to put mossy stone bricks And also mix in a little bit of crackstone brick too let’s add some mossy and crack stone brick and then a little bush right here more bushes on this side with mossy stone brick and you can mix mossy stone brick walls in with the regular sun brick walls too On the patio we’re also going to mix in some mossy and some cracked as well i like to keep the mossy stone brick around the edges where it touches the grass and the cracks in brick can go anywhere now finally i’m just gonna grab a berry bush Some sweet berries and we’ll mix the sweet berries in next to the bushes mostly so now let’s just decorate this i’m going to put some oak stairs actually let’s take some spruce stairs so they don’t blend in with the entryway so i got some spruce stairs i’ll make a little bench here Then we’ll take a fence put a trapdoor on top to make a table let’s put it right here and i’ll put one more spruce there well i don’t like how the fence connects to it so let’s just break that and put it here okay so now we’re pretty much done Actually wait there’s one more thing lastly let’s just add some bushes to the roof so replace some of these prismarine blocks with oak leaves just make it look a little bit random throw some here and we can replace some of these stairs on the edge to make the leaves hang over And we’ll put a little bush here too don’t worry about there being holes to the inside because we’ll go fix that later when we work on the interior okay so now we’re finished with the exterior and now let’s head on inside and work on the interior So first of all let’s take an armor stand and place it in the corner as a sort of coat hanger i’m gonna take a lectern and place it right here in the corner take some bookshelves two and then we’ll go up by two more cover this up with trap doors on the side Flip them and put three more trapdoors on top here we’re going to put a flower pot with your favorite flower in it and we’ll go with a painting to fill this see if we can get something good oh yeah that’s good so next let’s take some lights So use extreme light in an iron trap door if you’re on default or playing on survival you can just use glowstone if that’s easier i’ll cover these up with iron trap doors next we’re going to take some prismarine stairs and place them going across like this We can just do that for the whole house right now and this should cover up all the holes we made when we place the leaves we can just place our stream lights all over here with the iron trap doors covering them up now to finish off this room and to turn Our house into a home we’re just gonna add a little live laugh love sign voila now we’re going to take some birch trap doors and stairs and make a little entry way into this next room so go three birch trap doors flipped and two upside down stairs Cover this wall with trap doors as well and one in the middle so let’s replace this with a prismarine slab i’ll take a full block here and replace these three with full blocks replace this stair now let’s work on this kitchen so we’ll place two furnaces and some cobblestone walls leading up to The ceiling as you may have noticed our actual chimneys aren’t really functional they’re just for decoration so replace these two stairs with full prismarine blocks so that the walls will connect here i’m going to replace two spruce trap doors as a little shelf i’m going to put these on top and in This corner i’m going to do this double smooth stone slab as a sort of tiny little counter i’m gonna take some gray glazed terracotta for the floor of the kitchen so actually let’s divide off the bedroom first so we’ll stick this wall out by one so the entryway should be too wide So the bedroom is three wide and too long so let’s replace this slab here hold on let me just figure this out so this is the right size for the bedroom i’ll make a little doorway there and yeah let’s go up with the wall here so the entryway should be too wide we’ll Just replace this with birch stair and then birch trap doors and i’ll just fill this wall in up to the roof so now that we have our rooms divided off let’s fill in the floor so i’m taking gray glazed terracotta and i’m gonna make this pattern so we’re Facing and turning a different direction turning 90 degrees each time you place it and we’ll have to break these doors so we can place the terracotta here now let’s place them back okay now just some minor decorations put a lantern no let’s take a item frame put on here And place some blood bread to get the invisible item frames the best way is to use a texture pack i have a link to one in the description so now we’re going to put a door to divide off the bedroom and on the inside of course we’re gonna Take a bed got my creeper bed i’ll make two trapdoors as shelves i’m gonna put a flower pot on one and a lantern on the other here i’m just gonna play some bookshelves two by two the trapdoor is on top and then up above this door i’m gonna put trapdoor shelves And a flower pot on top let’s put it right here it’s another oak leaf and make this kind of hang off the shelf and now our final touch for this house we’re going to place down a red carpet and then put our pet cat on top And once we’ve done that this house is completely finished just take a quick little tour fly around the outside let me know what you think of this house in the comments thanks for watching and i’ll see you in the next video you Video Information
