There is nothing more classic in Minecraft than building a nice Castle I mean either that or the dirt Hut but there’s just been so many amazing castles in Minecraft history I think my favorite is Captain sparkles’s Fallen Kingdom Castle oh The Nostalgia of that music video loved that thing but the

Point is I think everyone should make a castle in Minecraft it just looks so amazing so OG and so classic so today I’m gonna teach you how to build your own castle as well as me making my own castle this is my five-year-old survival world and this Castle right behind me

Here is really old it is five years old I made this thing really early on in the world’s history and it’s just ugly it’s flat it’s just really basic and this Castle actually leads down into my giant cave house so it serves a purpose but it’s just really ugly So today we’re

Gonna renovate this thing and make it look so so so much better so old castle I’m gonna say goodbye to you you’ve served me well over the years you’ve been great but time to go goodbye R.I.P if you guys are newer to my channel you don’t understand how significant this

Castle was to me this was like my first really cool build like I really was proud of this build when I first made it so the fact I’m tearing it down it’s kind of sad but also pretty cool because it means I’m improving as a builder now

Guys this leads me to my very first tip about making your Castle pick a nice location if your World’s new don’t worry about this too much but if you have any kind of old or even semi-old world you want to pick a great spot for your Castle maybe build some walls around

Your Castle or put it in front of a Giant Mountain or statue but you want your Castle to be in a nice like Grand spot in your world in a perfect world I’d actually have this Castle right in the middle of my world but this Big

Clock Tower there so I can’t do that but the point is make your Castle on display don’t hide it in the mountains or hide it like behind something make it nice and Grand and just out there off topic but I just remembered something so every Saturday we live stream in this world

And during that stream team we actually celebrated 100K Subs with making a YouTube play button how sick is that but wait there’s more right in front of the play button we actually have a lectern with a book of all my YouTube Milestones from my channel is made to certain sub

Counts it’s really cool so not the most impressive thing in the world but it was really cool to make so there you go all right back to making a castle all right Grand reveal of nothing but still this looks really strange all open grassland no Castle no nothing but we can begin

Building now but first i’m gonna go take this old map here of the old castle and I’m gonna glass it I’m Gonna Save it and uh lock it in a cartography table so this will always be here or at least I can put it you know in a the museum or

Something I don’t know I gotta make sure not to look at the map or else it’ll ruin it all right go in here and we lock it and boom now we have this Castle forever in our memory that looks so weird now that looks so incredibly weird

It’s like just a random like shaved spot in the whole Kingdom all right we’re gonna Savor this first castle map I’m actually gonna put this in our Museum so I’m gonna put it who needs a glitched map right this is stupid there we go actually who needs this map here it’s

Just like an open ocean map with a little bit of a bridge in there I don’t care about that glitch map your back this map your trash so next up on the castle agenda We’re Gonna Wanna pick a color palette a color scheme pick the

Kind of blocks you want to work with now here’s a tip don’t just make it all one block like these walls don’t make it all Cobble all stone brick take different kinds of stone so you can have some texture some color changes use like at least three or four kinds of blocks so

My go-to blocks for any kind of stone build is obviously Cobblestone normal stone stone bricks and then andesite you also go grab some polished and decide or some Mossy Cobble for some extra variants but the point is you’re always going to want to have these extra kinds

Of blocks for extra Tech texture now let me explain kind of how the Castle’s gonna look so I’m not just gonna make one big building like I’m not gonna make like something this tall and call it a castle I’m gonna make like buildings around a little bit of a wall kind of

Like I don’t know multiple buildings within a building does that make sense this is obviously a horrible Castle design don’t build like this but here’s just an idea for you see how there’s multiple shapes of buildings all kind of like within one big building that’s the

Idea I want to have for my castle so it’s not going to be one building it’s going to be multiple kind of mixed together now in my creative world here’s the castle design I actually made you see how it’s like a long building with another building going across then a

Tower on top and some walls around it it’s a lot of stuff all in one building and I really like how it comes out so yeah that’s the design we’re gonna do today so that being said let’s start the outline I think every Castle should be

At least like 15 by 15 maybe even a little bit bigger so I’m gonna do like 15 by 17 like a box so make your outline make a giant box and we’ll work from there okay so here’s my outline it’s a little bit bigger than I thought it was

Going to be but the point is we have our giant box now what you’re gonna do is decide where you want your entrance to be so I’ll put mine like right here in the center and I’m just going to try and find the center point of this giant box

Okay outline is set now we’re gonna try and make the actual building outline so how I want to do it is I’m going to have half of this whole Square grass field be grass and half of it be the building and I’m gonna do it in like an L shape so

Kind of Follow My Lead here I’ll put the building for me on this side so I’m going to make an L shape within this wall so I’m gonna kind of go up one way then at some point I’m gonna turn it back in this way then bring that wall

Back out to the other wall so if this kind of makes sense to you it’s like a giant L shape on one side and then like another small L on the other side if a sky view is easier here you go here’s how it should look so the entrance leads

Into the grass plane area and then we’re gonna have a building right next to that within that same box now I do want to clarify we’re still working on the outline here okay but now we’re gonna start to build up the building now we’re gonna again make it all look nice later

But for now just start getting the dimensions down so for your building area let’s raise this up by let’s say like five blocks now I’m gonna shape out the roof like a house shape so on the ends here I’m actually just going to kind of make like a pyramid shape kind

Of like this and boom here we go both of our sides have a nice little roof shapes we can actually make a roof later on but for now we’ll just leave this be now one thing I do like doing is I like to actually reinforce the wall in front of

The building so you see how here we have like this little wall outline I’m actually gonna go make another wall outline right over here in front of the building that way it connects a little bit nicer and guys I do want to know this kind of Castle is totally

Customizable you don’t have to do exactly what I’m doing all right so if you’re not like sure about something about the dimension and just do what you think looks nice this is not some like exact recipe for a very specific kind of Castle now next up I want to actually

Start to fill out these walls so take out some fences and some slabs as well so here’s how it’s gonna work on these walls we made we’re gonna go every other block one Higher kind of like that normal Castle Spike design that we usually see in castles and if we hit the

Building once again make sure that your wall comes one out from the building so we can still do this now after that take out your slabs I’m gonna use smooth stone slabs and go on top of those spikes and put down one slab on each one it’s important to use a lighter block

For this for the top part because if you use the same kind of block for the spike it just kind of looks like something newbie and very basic but the extra like lightness and color change makes it look a lot better and finally your fences in these little gaps put down fences on

Every single Gap and then our wall is just about done now here’s why I told you guys to get other kinds of stone too we’re gonna texture these walls now so just break some blocks and mix in other kinds of like similar looking blocks so like other kinds of stone and whatnot

And do this all around the entire walls later even the building itself now you could be lazy and say far as you I’m not going to do that that’s too much work but trust me it’ll look terrible so just do it okay I’m trying to continue building the castle but I’m getting so

Much lag and I’m wondering why there’s legit a billion villagers in this world I don’t know what happened recently if they started like Mass breeding or something but there’s legit millions of villagers right now like I’ve seen like look at all of them they’re just everywhere I have a villager breeder but

It’s turned off it’s not working right now and I’m on like six chunks of render distance and I’m just getting so much lag so I gotta go on like a mass murder spree pretty soon but villager murder aside let’s get back to our building so now it’s time to work on the actual

Building itself with the walls being done so what I’m gonna do is I’m gonna make the entrance to this building right in front of the gate so I’ll make like a little bit of a hole right here on the side of the building and you’re going to

Want your building to be one up from the rest of the ground so like the floor of this building will be on this level right here so put like some stairs down or some slabs or something right there to get inside here and from here on it’s pretty self-explanatory just make a

Building so like fill in the roof make like some big Windows here customize it to how you like it but this is just gonna be like a nice little two-headed building and if you want some help with building an actual house like this I have videos separately which I’ll link

Down below but uh yeah go make your building then come back all right boom here is the house now once again as I mentioned earlier yours might be a little bit different but here is mine it’s kind of like an open house on this back side we got all these fences and

Cool things and even over here I made a brand new entrance into my cave house using some ladders and some logs and look at this it’s all different that I don’t know it’s not crazy yet but it works but now it is time to work on the most important part of this building

Which is going to be the elevated part like the tower I guess we’ll call it so on either side of your roof I prefer this side that’s horizontal to me I’m gonna put a tower going up in the air starting on that wood roof so basically

I’m gonna chop out like a wood block here then a wood block let’s say like right over here then we’re gonna make some pillars like this and we’re gonna have the tower stemming from right here I’ll do the same thing on the other side as well just to keep it all even dude

Like look at all those villagers over there I was just talking about this earlier why why are there so many villages in my world I swear to God these guys are all going to die they’re all gonna die I can’t play like this it’s so laggy anyways back to this now

In the middle we’re gonna place down all kinds of stone like our walls and our buildings so put down your like andesite Cobble and all this fun junk all right the tower tube is done now here at the top we’re gonna take out some stairs and

Just kind of like do an upside down wrap around this place so we kind of have like more of a tower look where it’s coming out not just going straight up and then finally just smack some fences or some kind of protruding thing around each side so it looks you know like a

Tower you could put even like these Castle spikes again I’m just gonna do fences but it really is up to you and there we go there’s my tower up there now I kind of don’t like the fences actually so I might change that later but you get the point you get what we’re

Trying to do here nice little Tower stacked on our house and also you could make a ladder system to get up there I’m not gonna do that I don’t think because this is kind of I think it’s one block too short so it might not fit right but

If you want to go up there be my guest I’m also all set with that because I have these giant wall Towers on my Cobblestone walls around the whole Kingdom so I don’t really need to have like another Tower but still it’s a really cool addition

I don’t mean to beat a dead horse but why are there so many villagers process which is building with nature so you’re definitely gonna want some bone meal and additionally you could get some pods or some coarse dirt some Moss or even some leaves and simply what you’re

Gonna do is go around your walls and just add nature now once again I highly suggest you get those other blocks to add more just like depth and more color and texture but just go around the sides and just fill this place up with all these cool nature blocks and assuming

You made your build similar to mine take advantage of this Courtyard out here put down tons of nature in here I think this is the best place for like the Moss and coarse dirt because you could have this as like an animal pen or just like I

Don’t know like a muddy area but this is a great place to add in some new texture blocks also take out your shovel add some path blocks going into your doorway make like a you know like a normal path kind of like how I have here so maybe

Even take out some Stone too but you want to have like a normal pathway going into your Castle then around the side have all the nature and my final big nature tip is with these leaves make clumps of leaves around the space it could be outside the wall inside the

Wall but using clumps of leaves is probably the best way to add like some other kind of Dimension to your walls and your builds because you get all these flowers and these little trees but it’s not really adding too much to the whole thing when you put clumps of

Leaves it really makes a big noticeable difference if you want more ideas for nature build details I have plenty of videos on this kind of stuff so I’ll link one of those down below as well but now it’s simply time for our other details our non-nature stuff and here’s

A great example using barrels I think barrels crafting benches anything that kind of looks like it has a purpose you can just stack these up around the place I want to put some out here as well but yeah just stack up and around by the way

Check this out I ended up making a ladder way up to that Tower I know I didn’t need it but I just kind of wanted one so I made a little secret ladder up here a little secret door a little secret room it’s adorable in here and

Then upstairs we go to the tower but yeah things are looking great I’m loving how it’s coming out so far well guys that’s gonna be it for my castle today there are some small things I could do differently and fix up but for now I’m in love with this thing it looks amazing

By the way let’s do a before and after here’s the before look at it all old boxy grows and here is the finished product now look at this magnificent Castle oh boy and as I said earlier I 100 percent think every single Minecrafter should make a castle this is

Small it’s not a big castle at all but it looks wonderful it really fits the theme of this world and the kingdom and I just love it so much one bad thing though I have to get used to this ladder system now I don’t like it that much but

You gotta do what you gotta do the old staircase was too big so whatever oh I almost forgot we gotta update the map there’s the before and oh look at that that looks so so cool that’s amazing well guys if you are new here you might
