Full interior design and Custom Terrain – Minecraft

Hello and welcome back to the harmony server in last episode we built our starter base and I am in love with it and I hope you guys are too I was really inspired by the mushroom cow and well I think it turned out really good now I’ve

Managed to get a quartz floor in but that’s about all the progress I’ve made in between episodes go to sleep go to sleep because I hate the night time before we get into what we’re gonna do today I’m gonna give you guys a little bit of a catch up of

What’s happened between episodes for starters over here in illuminatos front yard we’ve set up a little animal breeding area so all the animals that you can breed that we may want some of in the future so we have sheep pandas including an angry panda we have horses and axolotls oh and

Delays thank you AB oh and cows but we have started with this little I guess Farm or zoo and I’m lagging Help and as you guys might know gunpowder has been a bit of a bottleneck on the server here because every time I need gunpowder I’m having to go fight a bunch of creepers ignore the pressure plates I’m having to go fight a bunch of creepers and of course I can’t just stay

Here and wait till it’s night time because we’re on a mycelium Island which means mobs don’t spawn so I have to fly all the way west to a land far far away until we reach coming to render distance until we reach actual land everything’s fine to which case I will

Wait until it’s night time and fight creepers with my amazing bow skills but if I’m being honest with you guys that’s getting extremely exhausting and I’m over it so Rin and I have decided to create a very small very temporary creeper Farm design now lab has already

Been working on a creeper Farm design but of course if you know wab he does not skimp out on anything so it’s a pretty big design and yeah we we decided to just get something going temporarily coincidentally that was at the same time that wab decided to start building his creeper Farm

So if we fly past our little congregation here to the east of the island I’m lagging look one bar we will eventually find this little dark oak path that will lead us over here to two creeper Farms now this is wabs and technically it hasn’t really started

Working yet uh because we need to build 24 or 25 platforms but this is a creeper Farm design by Dusty dude that Rin and I have built and it is working so Rin did some afking here so as you can see she’s a organ and eventually we’ll get wabs Farm built up

As well but this is where we’ve decided to have our industrial area and we are going to be going with a cottage Core theme but it’s not any ordinary Cottage Core theme we are mixing Cottage core and lovecraftian so that’ll be really interesting and I’m definitely curious to see how our

Industrial area is going to look and what are our plans for today’s episode you ask well that’s a great question today I want to get working on the exterior of our starter base or middle base as I’ve been calling it you see I’ve put in some grass but I want to

Switch out this whole area to grass and not only that but do some terraforming as well as you can see on this side I did create a bit of a cliff it needs some work but I think the rest of the area deserves some proper terraforming

As well I also want to add in some custom trees and mushrooms and aside from the exterior of the base needing work the interior needs work as well now this being the moo stew headquarters obviously it’s a very professional business as you can see I want the first floor to be kind of

Like a reception area and I think having a nice little reception stand in the back some plants uh an elevator I believe will go here hello missing block and maybe a carpet or something I don’t know just just Jazz it up a bit for the second floor I want this to be my

Storage room and to be honest I don’t know what this ring of blocks is please ignore it but I want this to be our storage room now it’s just going to be a manual storage because we don’t really have a ton of room to do automatic and I

Don’t mind doing manual for now as far as the third floor goes I want this to be our bedroom so we’ve got a lot of space we can make a very extravagant bed and some nice little designs for the fourth floor I really don’t know what

We’re going to be doing with this area so you guys are gonna have to give me some ideas and that’s just something we’re gonna have to do uh in a future episode and of course if we’re gonna be doing doing all this work we’re gonna be needing a lot of materials

Which is fine we can gather materials we’re gonna need at the minimum some oak logs and azalea leaves for the trees we’ll also be needing quite a bit of grass some sand and gravel for concrete as well as probably white and red dyes I’m assuming and a bunch of bits and

Bobs for decoration so without further Ado let’s get collecting some materials foreign [Applause] now that we’ve got all the materials gathered it’s time to get to work starting with the interior now I started replacing the walls here with red concrete but it is not done yet so we

Are gonna continue doing that on the first floor I think I would like to stick with red concrete here and I’m gonna try to get up here so I can fill this in all the way oh goodness building is fun Interiors are always so cramped

But yeah I’m gonna go ahead and get this finished and then I’ll be back for the next steps with you guys okay so the walls are in and I’ve actually decided to go with a I forget what this is called like an off wall a a one-off wall thing you guys can see

Um so because it just felt way too red so I think it’ll look better we’re gonna have decorations and stuff so don’t worry um this part I’m leaving open because this is where I think we’re gonna have the elevator there’s really not a good spot to have an elevator unless we want

To have it like in the corner or something uh but then it’s like which way do you put it in so I think we’re just gonna go here and we may just have to block the window off but whatever it’ll be fine don’t worry we’ll figure it out now what

I want to do is I’ve got some slabs and some quartz bits and Bobs here so I want to have a reception desk and I’m trying to think huh let me look up a reference photo okay so what I think we’re gonna do here

Is have it go maybe like this and then I think we’re gonna do stairs and then a slab Shore I think that looks fine um actually let’s do another slab here yeah that’s fine and then we’ll do slabs across you know the stairs really not necessary we’ll just use a full block

And then we’ll do some slabs across here wow that’s underwhelming okay no no no I think these gotta go It’s gotta be all full blocks and then maybe slabs on top would that be too much yeah that’s way too much what if we did the slabs up there oh that might be it

That might be the thing her why does this just look so odd huh let me keep messing around with this until I find something that actually looks good okay I think this looks fine and I think if we put some like decorations like item frame stuff and then maybe like a

Villager or something back there it’ll liven it up but I made these like kind of tall little chairs to go with the height of this um and then what I’m thinking is I think maybe we’ll just do bubble Vaders going up to each floor so we’ll have a bubble

Vader going from first floor to second floor second floor to third floor so that way we don’t have to do any complicated like Redstone or anything and we don’t have a lot of space for that anyways and then I think we’ll just do one cohesive drop shoot

All the way here uh so I think that’s what we’ll do now I want to make some shelves and for that we’re going to need trapdoors which I didn’t make give me one moment okay trap doors acquired now we’re gonna make some shelves and we’re gonna make them

Like that so we’re gonna put them by these windows here all right everything building is trial and error that looks great that looks fine so we could put lots of stuff and make sure it’s on the right level okay and then we’re gonna put one here boom

Boom boom boom boom and then we’ll put one here Let’s uh let’s do this just for uh symmetrical reasons all right so we’ve got some shelves which we can put items on and we will just not at this moment and now let’s work on some potted plants for

Potted plants I love you why is this spread out like that for body plants I love using terracotta and then one of my favorite little things just to spice it up a bit is Acacia buttons okay got the buttons and now we just need some leaves so we’ll take some of these

So let’s go make some magic happen so my favorite way to Do potted plants and since this is kind of a big area we could probably even do oh that won’t work her all right it’s gonna have to be like this oh that’s fine so boom boom boom and then let’s get

Some leaves in here so um uh-huh look at that little plant adds a little bit of life huh so then we’ll get another one going over here so right off the bat that’s looking good now what we can do is we can add a potted plant next

To the reception area just to give it a little bit more life oh yeah oh it’s so dark let me sleep oh you know what we’re missing guys I know what we’re missing it is this boom look at these fluffy leaves that’s what we’re missing okay and then

Let’s get another one over here frick shhh and I have shears on me that’s embarrassing okay so bam already we’ve got some good stuff going now what we want to do is gather up some clay for pots because I forgot to gather it before and that’s totally fine

Dolphin Grace me and then of course we smelt it down just like I had planned perfectly while we’re waiting for those to smelt I want to try something and it might look bad and if it does I’m fine with that I just want to try it hmm

Oh I love it I feel like that was exactly what was missing oh my gosh yes that is so classy use day class I send you oh dang it it’s not symmetrical okay perfect that’s it I’m not going well while we’re waiting for the pots to smelt up let me

Just clear some space out of my inventory let’s start putting some things down so I’ll put a little Lantern here and there here maybe here and then let’s do a few little little that’s not that was not okay we got a Crouch oh yeah look at that hey oh yeah that’s

Blended in real nice pots Acquired and I think these are really gonna bring it to life here so let’s see all right we’ll throw one here one here we’re just gonna kind of fill up the Extra Spaces with some pots let’s put we want to make sure we get some Greenery

Down and some good flowers and my favorite flower for last the pink tulip so so what are you guys thinking so far I think it looks really good and I realized for these two pots we definitely have something we could do with them we can put them on these desks here so uh

I didn’t think that through now what I really think is missing here is a lighting feature so I’m gonna try to do let me up thank you I’m gonna try to do something with these iron bars uh I want to make kind of like a modern let’s see Center here oof that’s awkward

Let’s bring it out one so it’s not connecting and then we can do ah iron bars are so ugly okay um uh okay that’s a thing that’s a thing let’s take a step back uh it’s not bad but it’s not what I’m going for yeah the iron bars are definitely the

Problem so we’re gonna just get rid of them okay and then here’s where I think the iron bar can work all right just a small support thing all right now let’s take a step back and see how she looks oh yeah that’s not bad that’s not bad

Though I think her how can we do this because that’s a so that won’t hang from there hmm let’s see if we can maybe do something like this okay you know that’s that’s pretty cool I think I think I like that if you guys have any better suggestions let me know

Oh I wonder if we did see I try I think we would have to do the soul lanterns on the ends there I think those might fit in better but it does look pretty nice let’s just snag this one and see if that would look good I I always find

It’s easier to yeah see I like that I think the soul lanterns would fit better though just with the vibe they look a little more modern but not bad and see the problem is the rest of this needs lighting so I think we’re gonna need another

Light bar or something here but I think those are all the Torches we had so it is pretty well well lit up um which is a good sign now what I want to do is add some carpets and my favorite trick so let’s find a nice spot to put the carpet so we

Have 10 so that’s five six seven eight okay let’s take a look nine and ten does that look like a decent shape Shore okay and then we’re gonna put these back and then we’ll just do this so that we can remember where it is that we’re placing them you guys get the

Idea right it looks pretty nice let’s try something like this or maybe a little bit more scattered yeah that’s not bad it needs to be larger I just I don’t have enough wool I’ll come back when when we have a larger carpet okay so I’ve pretty much completed the interior and I’ve changed

The plans for the elevator here originally you guys remember I was going to have it on this side and after working on a design for uh the the second floor what is going to be our storage room uh I realized that it was actually more practical to have it more towards the center

Um so that’s what we’re gonna do we’re gonna have it right here in the center this is the simple design that we’re going for and it works so essentially when we come up here we’ll just be able to push out at whatever stop we’re going to and then every single floor will have

The same drop shoot point and I’m lagging okay this is great you guys I have been having such a hard time playing on the server because I’ve been lagging so bad I end up in weird spots uh progress undoes itself it’s been it’s been rough but yes so first

Floor is done we’ve got this carpet here I think it turned out really nice spread out real good put in a few little picture frames and then I just moved the plant that was over here right here into the corner and I think it fits in

Perfectly so uh as I stated the second floor is going to be our storage room and the third floor is going to be a bedroom I have designed the storage room have not designed the bedroom and uh hopefully I’ll get to that soon because holy cow it’s been so long since our

Last episode and I’m so sorry guys I’ve been so busy but it’s fine uh I’ve made a promise to you already on my community post that this video is going to be out on Friday and today is currently Tuesday and uh so we’re just gonna make it

Happen so I’m going to go ahead build up the storage room and then I’m going to show you guys and see what you think welcome back you guys so we’ve got the shaders on because obviously they make everything much much more pretty and uh just adds some life I love how the

Quartz is like shiny and reflective oh it’s so pretty so yes you guys have already seen the first floor now I’m going to be showing you the second floor uh and it’s uh it’s really cool I I think you guys are gonna love it so

Shall we shall we go up let’s go up voila our storage room and I love it now there’s a few of the copper blocks that uh that aren’t really oxidized yet so they they should all be looking just like that there um so a few of them aren’t quite there

Yet but they will get there uh so this is our storage room uh I have no idea where I’m gonna be placing or you know like where things are going to be going in here but we will be kind of just figuring that out I guess

Um and I went with this little simple chandelier just because it is really dark in here so we need to get some light in and I I hadn’t really thought through hmm maybe uh something like that and then like an upside down stair or something or maybe just

Leave it I hadn’t really considered that but yeah this is the storage room let me know what you guys think I love it it’s it’s simple but there’s a lot here you know so it’s not boring and I I really like it it’s great but uh yeah that’s

Not all I did I uh not only designed a bedroom but I built it and let me just tell you guys I’m really proud of this bedroom build like ID has a lot of character I think it’s very fitting for me and uh you’ll understand why in a moment

So without further Ado let’s go up to the third floor and here we are I absolutely love this bedroom look at this beautiful pink chandelier the amazing bed that we have here all the candles and flowers and oh and then we have this little seat here because uh

This isn’t an actual bed so I figured we’d need a bed in the bedroom after all um so I use a little trick that we got from bwo our building King and uh yeah I just got the little little uh what are these called banners and the bed and

They got a little carpet here and I think it’s nice like a little sofa couch and we’ve got a few tables and all these candles and I just love it so much and you know so these are the shroom lights and I think it would look better with the pearlescent frog lights

However I don’t have a Frog Light farm and we don’t have one on the server so in the future uh once we build one I may try swapping them out because I think it would actually fit a lot better um yeah and then we just got this this

Fun little pink gray and black carpet which I really really love it just kind of ties everything together and we went for purple uh borders on the top and bottom and then we did some nether brick uh blocks here on the corners and then we have the uh Crimson uh stems and

Planks here and yeah I I think it turned out so good what do you guys think let me know down in the comments what you think of this bedroom and I have something kind of silly to show you guys so right here you see these banners uh

That’s because I I uh couldn’t actually get through the doorway I’m gonna get my free cam to explain to you guys so the doorway was these three blocks here and they were blocked off by our elevator so uh I had to block it off because I couldn’t get through and it just was

Awkward and so I decided to just put some banners here to cover up the cream terms in logs and uh I actually think it it turned out pretty well so just wanted to kind of show you guys that because I thought it was kind of funny but now the

Last thing we need to do today is get working on the exterior here so my thoughts are we can build out the top layer of the island because we’re obviously going to be terraforming it and then from there we can create the cliffs and the slopes and then we’ll add

On our trees and mushrooms well I was going to insert a time lapse here but I recorded quite a few hours of footage and while my game was trying to save it uh it crashed and uh then I got a bug and I couldn’t pull the raw recording it

Was a whole thing so I’m just gonna show you guys that was not what I meant to hit uh what we’ve done here so I’m actually just gonna go into free cam and uh yeah I think the overall shape of this island is a little is quite unnatural

Um but it was a bit of a struggle I tried to keep some of it like back here and on the sides um but where I extended it out I think that’s something I need to work on is making like more of a natural shape and

I connected this so this is going to be our Easter area uh that web terraformed all that so I kind of connected them there so it looks a little bit more natural back there but it’s just hard because we’re not turning the whole island into grass so it’s like where

Where do I stop where do I you know and uh and yeah and so I decided to just kind of have this come meet up over here and I do really like this part um and this Cliff I really love so I think a lot of it turned out okay um but now

We need to get some uh custom trees and mushrooms in and maybe a little little pathway here so I’m gonna go ahead do that and come back and show you guys the finished results and just like that it is done that’s gotta be one of my favorite ways to

Transition to a new scene but here it is you guys so I’ve got this path taking us all the way to the front door and you know once I started putting the trees in I just really felt a wooded uh Vibe and so that’s what I went for and we’ve got

Some Fallen uh trees here with little pots on them which I really like we’ve got some little mini mushrooms a couple of uh slightly larger custom mushrooms and uh my favorite trick is these dark oak saplings here because they only grow in a two by two so those are one sapling

You can actually place down and maybe we’ll get some flowers in here and some little you know the grass not the block but the little grass bits that go up here maybe we’ll get some of those in and stuff and I just uh put some moss in

To kind of give a little variance to the area and we’re not going to look at the back because I haven’t done the back um I just wanted you guys to see what this area looks like and we’ve got a couple different lamp designs here so we

Have the little tiny ones next to the path and then we have the bigger ones slightly further out and quite a few custom trees so I’m going to give you guys a nice big view of the area here and I think it turned out amazing let me

With work and family and social stuff going on birthdays engagements all kinds of stuff has been going on and then uh having extreme lag issues which ended up just being my graphics card software uh which yeah took me took me out of playing anything for a couple of days so

It’s been pretty rough but we got the episode out and hopefully things will be a little bit smoother here in the future so wait oh it looks so good with the shaders on oh my gosh oh it’s so nice and once we get some flowers in here
