fWhip – Minecraft 1.17 Hardcore Survival : Finishing my custom cave base!

Hey folks whip here and welcome back to the hardcore minecraft world we are here for episode number 26. last time we did a world tour and oh my gosh we came really close here in that castle right there but we did the world tour and we did some more work right around

Here and i love all of the terraforming action we’ve been doing lately as well as we’ve got our first little turtle egg right over there i’m hoping we can breed up a few more of those and get a few more eggs for ourselves because i would

Love to get a gold farm or something set up using those here soon but anyways less about the way future plans though probably uh very far in the distance because gold farm that’s a big build we got too many other things to tackle right now my friends but thank you all

Asking people what we should be working on what we should be focusing on and a lot of people actually said that we should work on the 1.17 area that little cave that we’ve done and finished that because it’s a rather small project and then number two where a lot of

People saying we need to do the castle and then surprisingly number three the most suggested thing was actually creating a little town down here and then it was mooshland i was kind of surprised by that so i think that’s actually going to be the order that we

Tackle all of these projects that we have going on right now maybe with a little bit of messing around back and forth here and there but i think that sounds like a pretty awesome way to go for the next lol in the series now that means the first one on the list

Here my friends is way over in the new 1.17 area so i think we got to fly all the way over there and i haven’t tried this before this is hardcore but let’s see if we can somehow we didn’t take damage i will take that we are flying off away from

The castle for now and we’ve got a few cool projects over here that i’m really looking forward to finishing up one thing real quick that i’ve been meaning to do for quite some time now is actually going to require an anvil it’s about time that we

Repair the bow over here i really like the infinity bows but it does mean every once in a while you gotta combine them with a new one so we need an anvil i don’t think i put any in the builds or anything around here yep not not seeing them thankfully we

Can fortune iron ore like crazy so we can drop all that right in there and we can do the same with the coal now moving down into the pit for just a second the things that we have to finish up today my friends is this wall back here needs to be drip

Stronified like the rest of the cavern and that he’s fine he’s fine he’s totally fine up there the big part though is i really want to finish this tunnel here i think that’s gonna be absolutely awesome to bring a little bit more tough block in bring it all the way back around here

And i really want to incorporate a little bit of the amethyst i guess we have the minecart so we should probably use the minecart to get all the way down there but we have this beautiful geode here at the end i thought it’d be super duper fun to take some of these

Amethyst shards create some more amethyst blocks out of them right like that wow that got five blocks off of two interesting fortune really works on those but anyways taking some calcite and stuff and creating these small tiny little crystals that might be like poking out right like this way

Attaching some of those crystal buds to them and all that cool stuff just kind of all over the poison here i think it’d be super duper cool we might find another geode around here somewhere that we can use that for an auto farm if we really want to get a lot

Of amethyst but for now i feel like manually harvesting these ones is pretty okay with me the auto farms are really complicated to set up from what i’ve seen but right like that we’ve got over a stack of the blocks amethyst i didn’t even harvest all the ones up here

Amazing okay just harvesting that off there got us almost two stacks of blocks of amethyst using the fortune three so that’s gonna be absolutely awesome i’ve gotta get a few more things together around here blocks and resources wise because i think i accidentally left shulker boxes that i need

Back over at the castle oh yeah there they are gonna take you and since we’re back all the way over here five levels to fully repair the bow i’ll take it oh i think it’s ready to be harvested this is always so satisfying to do let’s just flip that guy right there

And we can flip him back and oh look at it look at all the spikes falling down oh it’s so cool i love this but with that my friends i think i’ve got pretty much everything i need in order to build out this entire tunnel down here

So without any further ado kicking this off right away in a good old-fashioned time lapse mode And there we have it my friends the entire little railroad over here is completely finished i threw on some shaders over here and let’s take a little ride down this oh my gosh i love the amethyst crystals around here those things are gonna be so much fun

To decorate with you get some really cool shapes when you work on them i didn’t really finish off this little section down here because i wanted to continue the calcite and the basalt and well i don’t really have too much left but i wanted to almost feel like this

Geode was encompassing this entire section so we’ll have to come back and get that done here soon but now we’ve got to basically just wait for some crystals to grow in order to do that because i still touched all the crystals so i could put them over there instead of getting more blocks

How did i miss those i have a stack and a half a block still on me here so i might as well just extend this guy out a little bit so it looks like this railroad is coming right down into the amethyst geode the shape of these is supposed to be pretty

Rounded out so i don’t feel like i need to go super hyper detail on trying to make this shape perfect and much better that really feels like you’re coming right down into the amethyst geode now okay that is super duper cool i really don’t want to turn

This one into an auto farm but i feel like those guys in these blocks are going to be something i’m going to really want a lot of later when we’re doing something maybe in the end so i feel like this and perper could be a very cool combo

But even going right back down this way i love it it’s kind of a half lush cave half kind of amethyst dude old school with the tough blocks in there instead of the smooth basalt i think it turned out so very well moving right along as i’ve got all of the tough and

Undecide over here now and it’s looking super duper cool we’ve got to keep working on this a good amount though as next up is getting a lot of these ponds down here in the base unfortunately i’ve not been able to find any more small drip leafs so that’s going to be a

Little rough not being able to use those guys in here but we’ll make it do we’ll make do as much as we can i want to start by making some small ponds like this dude right over here so that we can keep the water moving around and really make it feel like we’re

Getting that lush cave environment in here a big part about it though is making sure they’re all at different layers so we have this one down here we’ve got some all the way up there and i want to keep trying to echo that same feeling so we got that dude up

There and i’m thinking we could go with one right down here literally along the edge and maybe in the same way that we use the deep slate over there brought the ring in just a touch and then we’re gonna have it kind of going back out slowly i think that could be really

Cool so what that means is i can just have some clay hanging over the edge something like this should do it i feel like i’ve just been kind of spamming random blocks all over the place but i kind of like that i think having a third pond right up here

And then we could maybe have it flowing downwards into this guy ooh that’s kind of fun having some movement with the water i like it we’ve got the water in now it’s time to add the moss blocks around the edges so it really feels like that lush cave environment

And pulling out a few of the carpets too these things are absolutely awesome for mob proofing and everything like that if you want to make a dark cave but have it still be really lush and cool and just have some pointed glowberries and things these little mossy carpets are perfect

The only thing we really need to add into this side over here still is the glowberries and all of the drip stones so let me grab some of that pointed drip string we should have a lot of it down here and we do that is absolutely perfect

And we crafted some full blocks earlier great adding in one more final little spikey boy right over there and that should about do it for the rest of this section oh it’s looking really cool back here i wanted to keep it pretty on the basic side so the attention really goes over here

To all of this stuff and the drips are super heavy around you know the drip stone farm so it works out really well my friends but we’ve got a lot more deep slate right over here and only a tiny bit tiny bit of cobbled deep slit unfortunately

But taking all of our goodies down here to the next level it is time it is time to get this bottom area sorted out so we’ve got all of this stuff we’ve got all of that and now we’ve got all that with a bunch of random things in there too

And i’m thinking down here is that i want to hollow out this lower section a good amount just kind of taking it back a few blocks to have it coming outwards and then inwards being really skinny on this circle to save myself a little bit of time here

Not have to just shear away all of these blocks and breaking them and then putting them all right back i think i’m gonna just bring everything in a block so the circle’s a little bit skinnier but i think it’ll look really cool still so all i’ve got to do

Now is run around this entire place here clear out a few more blocks down here at the base and then get all of the deep slate back in i think it might be kind of cool just to do regular deep sleep everywhere and then have the cobble stuff at the top

Like we were breaking through so it’s a little bit more broken away and everything the area down below has been cleared out and to move forward with more easily building all this deep slate up because i really want to get the side texture down here so it doesn’t have that

Lighter highlight to it is i just built an entire ring of cobblestone around this entire place and now from here we’re just going right up to the top and anywhere where it’s kind of bumped out or anything like that like that little section i’m just kind of surrounding it and using some

Stairs and slabs i think that might give it as much as a natural shape as we need first site is now done and i think that’s going to be pretty sweet we just want some darker difference between what we have up there with everything being very chaotic and

Very full to something more simplistic down here as we eventually enter the area that we’ll be destroying everything inside of to get all the resources we want this has taken a considerable more amount of deep slate than i thought it would but it is starting to look super duper cool down

Here check this out my friends we’ve got the entire lower circle done it’s a little bit repetitive i do totally agree on that point right now but it’s looking really really cool the base down there i wish there was a way we could make it dark

Honestly what we could do is a row or a layer of tinted glass down here so we don’t show the light from all the torches beneath but we have tinted glass right there so it feels very dark and ominous oh wait that could be really cool so many ideas

But before i get distracted i got to finish this last section right here i just want to bring the deep slight all the way up to the base of where we have this platform to land on to get to the end of this geode and then i’m going to

The end of this geode because i need amethyst shards the entire pit over there is finished up now but we need a lot of ambeth so i’m really hoping this stuff has actually grown up and it looks like we might be able to get some we need the shards right now and thankfully

Fortune gets a bunch of them was able to get 60 off of everything fully grown inside of there so hopefully that’ll be enough if not uh we’ll figure something else out but first we need to get a lot of glass and i’m thinking also some purple dye could be really cool down here

Thankfully we have a decent amount back here too so i think what i can do is place these guys down and then just break them oh perfect thank you oh just kidding i have so many in here okay i’m getting way more tinted glass than i actually need but i think it’s

Gonna be really useful to have later on here we are an entire minecraft day later flying down into the pit where we have this really really cool spot down here but one thing i want to know is does this stop the beacon beam it is gone

But did it stop it looks like yes okay that’s gonna put a little bit of a kink in the blend here all right well that’s kind of a bummer getting this thing back over here what we can do instead is that’ll make it purple and that’s a zombie but now for my plan

I think this could be super duper cool is if we come all the way around here and just fill this entire position at this point with tinted glass everywhere except where this exact block is i’m gonna put a purple one right there so we can get a little bit more of the foggy

Effect off of it too now we’re doing this all live here i haven’t tested this at all before but i’m thinking for sure i’m gonna need some more purple glass here one second that took a lot more to fill this thing than i thought oh god

But using those ideas of old fog tricks and things like that that we’ve done a lot in the past or a few different series just to try and get some really cool purple fog down here i think could look absolutely awesome everything is in place now and i am

Super curious i have not looked down this pit at all i’m really liking that purple beam though but check this out i think we need some more layers of purple glass down there okay that is very doable and i want to find a different way for that ladder

Maybe we make a slight cave offshoot or something so we can keep this as a darker section in here too here we have it my friends i’ve added a few extra layers of the glass over here and it is looking fantastic holy cow this is really really

Cool now if we fly all the way up to the top again it still looks bright and vibrant but i kind of am growing to like that the more i look at this thing check out this custom cave that we’ve built oh this is so very

Cool i’m in love with this project right now it is looking fantastic that is so absolutely cool taking a hard turn here my friends to the next project we’re going to be working on for today’s episode is i want to start the grind towards being able to build something

Really really cool in the end dimension now before we build anything in the end we’ve got to be able to spawn and kill the dragon 24 times we’ve already done it once which is absolutely amazing but i’m on the lookout here for some gas because i need a lot of gas tears to

Make some end crystals oh my gosh finally a gas over here i am coming in right here with the looting sword no no nailed it please something we got a cheer run away one tier 15 to go i should check my chest in the overworld please please please please please

Please please can we have two two better than none i looked up the recipe and i was wrong you actually only need four gas tiers in order to spawn the dragon once and dude we get another one we got two yes we’re up to five so we

Can spawn the dragon one time right now i would love to kill it twice today if we can do two kills every now and then we’ll slowly get ourselves completely finished with it there he is hello big boy yes please please please two oh we’re up to eight we got three yes

We’re out let’s go headed over to the warp force as well because we need some ender pearls and i don’t have a farm for those quite yet so more gasters oh my gosh we’re up to 11. hi yes hello this is the world’s smallest warp force i swear there’s two more okay

Come on boys over here hi how are you doing hello hello be angry be angry yep they’re both angry go go go there’s one no pearls oh goodbye hello would you like to come over here please so you don’t stand over there on fire hello he just teleported back and died i

Just had the realization lamb being incredibly dumb right now you don’t know where there’s a lot of vanderpolls at endermen the end where we’re going right now i really don’t know where i got this idea from of hey you want to be really fun today just killing the ender dragon twice

But here we are we’ve got all of our gas tears we’ve got our vendor pearls we’ve got all of the glass that we need and taking this guy right over here what else so i need to turn him into eyes of ender that’s what it was there we go eight extremely explosive

And destructive end crystals oh boy handle with caution well i guess now it’s as good as time as ever my friends uh we got dragons to kill yeah plural let’s do it floating floating floating very floating upstanding wow standing Here goes nothing [Applause] Now if you didn’t know every single time you kill the enderdragon in minecraft up to 24 times it spawns these little portals this is the way to explore the rest of the end dimension and get out there so we had our first one over there

We got two more kills so we got these guys and they take you to brand new locations compared to that one take off in a brand new direction over there so you can find more end cities super easily every few episodes i want to jump back in here and kill the dragon

A few more times just so eventually we can have them going all the way around here and we can make a super awesome build on the end after we chop down all of these pillars yeah that’ll be fun but back home we go from here now that we’ve killed the dragon a total

Of three times of course we have to come over to mooshland where we’ve gotta trade and repair up this hope because we gotta do the next mandatory thing of every episode now is i need to plant another field and of course i really do enjoy our mold so we might as well

Get a few in the process here as we’re pairing up the tool hey all the way up to level 30. very nice just finished trading over there and we’ve got over three more stacks of emeralds for ourselves which brings us up to another 22 blocks i guess we have enough for a third

Beacon now almost that’s pretty sweet and putting the walls back so i’ve decided for this villager trading hall is i want to turn it into multiple halls so i want to extend this farther out this way and turn it into probably a giant plus shape or t shape where we have a big

Central area that we can get in and out at and then everything stretches out in the different wings one of those wings is i want to be for the farmer so i actually want to move all of the stone masons and librarians out of this swing the librarians can have their

Own and probably the stonemasons will also have their own wing but that’s just kind of something i’m thinking about here soon so we’re gonna have to start moving villagers like crazy ooh that’s gonna be a big project it looks like we have a tiny amount of beetroot seeds

No wheat seeds at all but we do have a lot of potatoes and carrots honestly kind of wanted to throw another beetroot field in we’ve only got the one at this point in time and i thought that could be kind of fun the perfect place for it is probably

Going to start bringing fields back around this section where we’re going to be having the eventual town i don’t want to get all that close at this for now but i was thinking we could start off by connecting up some pathways we’ve got this weird little section

All the way back here that just ends at our poppy field and we might as well connect it up to the main room how did this get here i don’t remember moving that huh you can go right there that should do it for a pretty basic pathway for now we’ll

Get this thing sorted later and we’ve got room for another little field right over here too so that’s gonna be awesome but first and foremost beat root field going right over here boop boop and done there we have it oh it is looking so much better over here i love

Just adding these little fields something about them is they’re just absolutely magical to me once they grow up and fill the entire area it just looks so good i i’m in love with this place everybody it is so absolutely awesome to be able to build

Around here and do a lot of really cool stuff in the zone and i can’t wait to bring in even more copper like we got the roof over there with the lightning rod it looks like a few of them are starting to age i kind of love that dollar cover over there

Oh we might have to wait until that goes green and see what happens with it i had to do it i had to do it this is just going to look too good it’s going to look so good right up here and then we just flip it right upside

Down i did catch it nice much better it’s so pokey right now though it is time to head right back over to the mining area and see if we can’t get a little bit more work done for the day apparently i have five diamond or sitting right in here i must know

I must know how many do we get eleven i’ll take it nice now one thing i’ve been wanting to do for this area over here is eventually i think we could really do a lot of work with the mountains we’ve gotta finish up axolotl lake right back there in the corner but

Most importantly is we have our mine right over here and i want to get it all the way through the woods way over there to where we can have a little dock section i think today what we focus on don’t you knock me off this cliff okay mister

Because we can clear out all the trees where that roadway is going to be going somewhere right through the forest and then we can also add another house or two over here where the mine workers would be able to live just something small and quaint and just

Really basic and actually i guess we have to finish the little river into a pond over there too which there already is kind of a pond huh that could work that could work but first time to kill some sheep because i forgot my bed thank you thank you and thank you

Much better i guess i’ve got a little bit of tree chopping and terraforming action to do here my friends so it is time for good old-fashioned time lapse Well this appears to be about as a good of a viewing point as any for ourselves to see all the way down here into the mines and i absolutely love it it was recently nighttime though and a group of judges exploded me right over there so i got to

Be a little careful around here but oh it’s so cool being back in this area i love this that down there at the bottom almost looks like the shape of an egg at this point in time but i think it looks so cool oh i’m so happy we got all this stuff done

I will say though unfortunately my friends i am all out of time for today’s episode a little bit shorter one here on the hardcore side of things but unfortunately with the holiday weekend and everything here in the united states i have been very very busy so i’ve not
