plan today is I have shulker boxes here that are empty we need to fill these with fire resist potions and we need to fill them with sand and I also I don’t think I need the ax at all in the nether for where we’re Going so it should be fine to go without save the inventory space uh we’re gonna be we need to make a bunch of TNT today because uh we’re going netherrite mining so be sure to leave a like deal with wasting my diamonds because I don’t bother mining for diamonds that often uh so I figured we would just get as much as many netherite tools as possible my Goal is to fill two shulker boxes of new netherite tools like pickaxes and shovels and probably a few axes I feel like I’d never churn through axes that much so we’ll probably only get like three or four more but I really want a lot of pickaxes and shovels because I’m churning through Those constantly so saving some netherite armor for future yeah my goal is so there’s the two sets of two smoker boxes of tools and three sets of netherride armor so I can have some fun and make a few different combos of the new armor trims that would be fun How is netherite working 1.20 there’s a new item being added called the netherrite upgrade and it’s literally it’s a another right upgrade template so you have to upgrade your diamond tools another item in the smithing table like we already do but this time now you have to build the netherride Upgrade template instead of just having the Ingot which requires diamonds to make So I was like uh-uh I’m I don’t want to waste my diamonds on this I don’t quite know how much oh we might actually have a 40. I have a what is it 40 I have a 40 90 now I I got a big upgrade Um graphics card if you’re not using shaders does not matter for Minecraft content creation and hot take right here hot take but a true take tested don’t use shaders when you’re recording Minecraft videos use shaders only for cinematic stuff if you are using shaders to record Minecraft you will get less viewers That is it is simply tested unless you’re already established Creator if you’re using shaders in your Minecraft videos you will get less viewers because not everybody can use shaders and people want to watch Minecrafters that are able to be that they’re able to see what’s going on We’re just gonna Coast up here for a minute this is fun we’ll keyboard to use I have a Corsair um any if you want to be a content creator get anything with like Cherry silent keys or you I I another pet peeve is clicking sounds like keyboard clicking Sounds or mice clicking sound in videos or streams I can’t do it if somebody’s clicking I have to I have to tune out of their stream um yeah I don’t prefer console shaders it makes it hard to see what the blocks are sometimes yeah yeah That’s a big part of it if you’re on any version of Bedrock that’s not PC you can’t use RTX so therefore everybody who plays Bedrock Edition unless you have an RTX capable card you can’t have shaders and that is the vast majority of Minecraft players and if you’re using shaders You’re gonna alienate that massive part of the audience so we’ll I’m just saying if you want to be a Creator don’t use it and if you don’t if you don’t need shaders you don’t you don’t need a big graphics card for Minecraft it’s all about the CPU AMD CPUs are typically better I have an Intel right now and it works it works well enough but AMD is your best route because uh Minecraft being in at least for job edition if you’re on Bedrock Edition Intel’s better but Java edition only has the ability to work off one Core so you need each individual core to be really strong which AMD is stronger cores Intel heat just has has more cores have you ever played Lord of the Rings online I haven’t really um I think I turned it I think I played It for like an hour creative Minecraft Those are difficult to build and grow on if you because you have to be doing something new and very much because oh source block yeah yeah that one’s in there too um if you want to grow as a Minecraft YouTube Builder you really need to be doing something unique so either you Have to have really good tutorials that are also very clickable and easy to follow um and that that also our very starter house and approachable and that are going to work well in the algorithm so if you do like I tried a while ago this is a Learning lesson I was like here’s How to build a Star Wars house in Minecraft and I do a tutorial on it didn’t go anywhere nobody wants to search for a Minecraft Star Wars house motor density uh for the for first time dog owners do you do your research and do your research before you get a dog and then also um there’s a lot of dogs if you honestly The best way to start out with like having a dog is I would really recommend is you go to a shelter you get an older pup that is super chill super low maintenance that the shelter will help with like medical bills and things like that which a lot of shelters at least in My area do for really old old elderly citizen pups that just they just want them to have a home to live in so you can try and Foster an older dog or something like that and then you kind of adjust to a life of having a dog and Then once you’re like cool that’s like a really easy way to do it and they’re like I like this lifestyle change then you think about getting a puppy because once you get a puppy there’s really no going back and if you’re one of those people that adopts a puppy and Then puts them in a shelter I don’t like you unless you have a really good reason for it usually it’s something that you probably shouldn’t have money on a new setup until I made money from YouTube so my first hundred dollars that I earned on YouTube I bought a new microphone and then after that I the first like two grand pretty Much that I earned off of YouTube throughout the first two years that I was a YouTuber I used it all to upgrade my equipment and get better stuff but I didn’t spend any money outside of like a 30 microphone to start recording When I got started um But yeah I just worked with what I had and I think it’s I think it’s the right way to go what color doesn’t work for you it’s not a single color that doesn’t work it’s when you put two colors next to each other like if you put a dark blue next To a purple I will not be able to tell them apart or if you put like a dark red next to a dark green it won’t be able too many arrows And then you have to go fix your bow and get a new bow we have the first one but like this is the first bow I ever made in this series I I get that gem is a mending bow user that’s fine and it’s good thing she’s good with a sword in Minecraft But like I almost threw that away that would have been bad I have now survived 4 000 days with one bow that has Infinity your bow will there and there’s so many things to do but I think part of the end needs to be a desolate landscape otherwise it’s not Minecraft um so if they add anything beyond just like a like they’re gonna add a few Things to make a not so Barren and desolate but like if it turns in if it’s not this Lush for us that people are so used to in the modded ends I think the fans are gonna be real they’re gonna be big angings they’re gonna be super angries And I don’t think it’s warranted I I think I think a desolate end is the proper way to update it like I think that’s the right thing to do but that’s just my 1.20 is gonna ruin Mojang like ruin Minecraft and it was in terms that Mojang is updating the game too fast and they’re adding too many things and I was Like that is such a different take than every every other Doomer in the community has that was like I kind of like it I kind of like the the person’s take on uh they’re like Mojang is adding too many features that the community doesn’t have time to fully understand The features that they add before the new ones are already being announced to the new update so then Focus shifts to whatever those new things are and so that by the time we actually start like experimenting with the features in the game there’s and like get them live most like creators who are Talking about the new stuff are already focused on what the next update is because they’re looking at all the snapshots that are already releasing that pretty much start right after the previous update releases and I was like that’s such an interesting take and I I Kind of like it I like I’d be okay if Mojang actually slowed down how quick they update the game because there are so many things in the game that I feel like as a Creator there’s a lot of things that I have to abandon that I want to do because there’s new Things in the game that if I want to get views I need to focus on those so it was an interesting way to think about it it was an interesting argument to bring up to the light where everybody is like oh my God Minecraft devs are so lazy they’re adding their own like There’s that Meme going around that the devs only work 30 minutes a week which is so wrong like they’re there’s a lot of thought that goes into this game before they add anything slow down the updates and make them bigger no I don’t think that’s the case I think they need to Keep the the updates at the same Pace but focus on quality of life changes instead of purely new things like there’s a lot of things in the game that have been broken for a long time that just don’t work or don’t work as intended and aren’t marked as fixed like our their Mark does won’t fix and I think that’s a big Miss there’s a lot of things in the game that could be just a few little like bug fixes here and there that could be rolled out maybe they’re more complicated than I realized but like if 121 was purely update the Inventory so it’s more easy like it’s easier to use and it functions better and it’s more modernized for the game and then you do a bunch of quality of life changes and like update animations on Old mobs like the sheep and the cow and the pig and those things like I Think that would be a great update like that for me would be perfect yeah we’re farming ancient debris right now and we got another one whoa 26 26. it’s only about an hour and a half 26. quality of life and polish will be good yeah I think I think it’s something that the Game needs to stay like there’s a lot of charm to Minecraft being unpolished like that’s part of the game that we know and love and that’s fine like that’s okay to leave it doesn’t have to be perfect but there’s some things that are starting to stay in the game that’s making it feel Dated and old more another right well ancient Minecraft Gameplay perspective the better end mod to me is not Minecraft the same thing with those mods that add a bunch of boss fights that you can go battle and bra bra your way through and Do that like go play an RPG go play an exploration RPG which can be in Minecraft like there are ways to turn that like there’s servers for that that people make that are purely like are like windcraft jerichraft has one and so many people have like there’s so many RPG based Servers you can go play on that have all these boss fights but like from a Minecraft Survival experience I think things like those just like throw everything in it make it as chaotic as possible so you can explore for five minutes and say wow this is cool and move on and do nothing Else like those mods are those types of mods I think are what got the community mentality into what it is now which is very negative about the game when it I don’t think it needs to be like I think the Minecraft as a game is good like Minecraft in itself is a good game just trying to see if there’d be some netherite popping up but that is a whole wall of lava sources we’re not fixing that lava sponge I can get behind that what if he’ll be working on stuff I’m sure he wanted to finish his castle not finished finish it but like get a Bunch more of it done so he’s doing that he went uh I think he was in Spain he went on a family trip to Spain with his I don’t want to share too much unless he shared it but you can go tune in on his Twitter he’s been tweeting a lot recently And probably talking about it on his podcast and stuff so which by the way if you haven’t watched his podcast they do a really good job yes in Spain yeah yeah I don’t know if he’s still there post some lovely pictures yeah yeah he he keeps joking about Um things happening on the server he’s like why is this all happening when I’m in Spain and I have made the Spain without the ass joke far too many times I’m just like will I continue to beat the dead horse in this joke I win come on I must miss two okay 49. we’re going for a whole stack today that’ll at least be a quarter of what I need we can continue next week actually I have a plan on what I want to do next week might be new series stuff there’ll be one I I want to keep it to At minimum one hardcore stream a week just because I love this world so much and I want to keep it moving forward I’m trying to get to the point where I’m posting two videos a week I just don’t know if it’s possible I might try and slightly new content strategy For 1.20 in the hardcore world and just do like some slightly smaller things but we’ll see knowing me it probably won’t happen the mountain was supposed to be a slightly smaller project and then I spent 65 hours in a week building a mountain so are you 53 sucker It’s your life something like a x-life uh it’s more similar to afterlife which afterlife was the predecessor of X life Sue take what you want two more two more two more you make the mountain front and back no I ran out of time I was legit Working On The Mountain Video trying to get it done until the morning that I left like I stayed up too 10 30 11 o’clock every pretty much every night for a week trying to build that dang Mountain I’m so happy with the result don’t get me wrong it looks so good but I was like oh yeah this would be a small one and then I got into actually building it I was like ow ex-life was fun X life was the only like side non-solo series that I’ve done where I actually like Dove like full head first into it And prioritized it over a single player series I just don’t really do that I just I love my single player stuff so much that I always am more interested and I also think it’s kind of safer from like a branding standpoint um to mainly focus on single player content because there’s Something to be said about like having really cool like collab content and things like that but I would rather people subscribe to my channel for me and what I’m doing instead of uh subscribing for like who I’m playing with you know if that if that makes sense that’s kind Of always been my mentality behind it so I try and really yeah you know we’ll get through the Last of Us TNT we’ve got we’ve got a little left I always try and really focus on my videos are About Me Maybe me interacting with other people but it’s always Focused on me and what I’m creating because this is ultimately my channel it’s not me and a bunch of other people on my channel uh so I try and keep that in mind when I’m doing stuff so single player has always been like my main main Focus but I just was so excited on X life to meet so many new people and X life was my first like full-time content creator SMP like that was the first time where everybody on the series was pretty much a full-time creator and that was really cool Ask about the new series uh it’s launching on Saturday there’s a small teaser on my Twitter if you want to check it out uh but yeah it’s a it’s a like I just want to Make my own little step I’ve got a fun idea for my build I’m gonna be if you would have guessed knowing me I’m making a sort of a town something cool very excited come on blowy Nothing not as good of a tunnel as the last one but we’ll keep going debris one I’ll be doing great today I am having a good day we’re at 58. we’re trying for the whole stack gotta figure out what pix’s strategy was because that that man used to get like 200 debris He said his record was like 140 in an hour is he just doing this and just going get unlucky trunk borders Get Lucky still can’t believe that he did the whole another right Beacon back again what happened um so we blew some stuff up uh Uh if you missed the pig we went to a Bastion and looted to Bastion got it one ancient debris out of an entire Bastion and a few diamonds and some iron and gold but you know have you seen Cub fans method I have not what it what’s he do I know there’s like wither farming methods you can do now that but you have to first get like 200 ancient debris and then you can build a cage that just pushes Withers down and they’ll just blow up everything in front of you I’m like that could be kind of fun to set up But do I really want to mess with live Weathers in a hardcore world no tunnel bars yeah tunnel boards are a good way to do it that’s fair I just feel like once you get Lava Lakes on Tunnel boards you have to break them down and rebuild them and I don’t know Enough about tunnelbores to be like oh yeah I want I know how to do this I gotta have to re-watch and follow the tutorial every time but maybe that’s how I commit it to my brain and learn how to build a tunnel more Pig how would you use a pig I know about mining deep sleep by spawning weather is in an ancient city yeah Etho is about to get so many people killed in Minecraft oh my gosh Etho is gonna get so many people killed genius idea absolutely genius idea as a player at that very specific mod I am Excited to see I appreciate you not spoiling it Eric thank you and the donut thank you very much make other people go and look at the tweet Farm them interactions debris and still TNT left just you know clearing my throat over there sorry uh boop boop boop Ethos the the his ability to just like pick up random things in this game like I know I know pix does it and has done it a lot when he’s doing Survival Guide where he just goes and reads the wiki like pixel is basically just like picking something random off the wiki And reading everything he could about it and then experimenting with it in game like that’s how he did the survival guide season one like that was his entire like content formula and like looking back at it his ability or that probably taught him so much about the game but I just cannot Bring myself to go read the Minecraft Wiki unless I need just like a little tiny fact I used it for horse breeding and that was really helpful uh but I just man there was so many numbers to go read I will say now that I saw ethos trying to breed the perfect mule I kind of want to do it I thought mules were always slower than horses I didn’t Know you could get a mule going the same speed or a donkey going the same speed as a horse so I think a new goal I have is breeding the perfect mule I I know it’s I know ethos got it going on but I I really Think it’d be kind of a fun one to have is because the horses are cool but if you could have a mule that had a chest on it Max hearts and so you need two maxed out you need a maxed out horse and a maxed out donkey and then you have to Breed them together to hopefully get a maxed out mule but you have to max out everything on a single one of them and I’m like that sounds like a fun like stream thing to challenge and go through I don’t think we missed any are you going to the deep dark soon I already got a swift sneak too I don’t need anything else except the armor trim I want the armor tournament I really want sneak uh sneak what hours to get another a beacon nah Reserve TNT do every five blocks but then you don’t clear as much space you don’t reveal nearly as many blocks like by that the goal is to remove as many blocks as
