FWhip’s EPIC Castle Stables & Creeper Farm!

Hey folks flip here and welcome back to episode number 20 of the hardcore survival world i have survived 20 episodes well 19 that’s number 20 hopefully don’t die last time but oh my gosh my friends we have done it we are on episode number 20 here thank you all so very

Of stuff going on today last episode we came through here and finished up a lot of stuff and apparently i forgot to do this pathway just cleaning up the world and cleaning up our farming area and making it absolutely amazing and well we acquired an elytra as well which is absolutely

Amazing we did a bunch of end raiding but most importantly we planted a new wheat field and it looks amazing doesn’t it oh i love it with the windmill up there it’s amazing we got some more fields coming today don’t you worry i’m thinking a carrot field

And a potato field and on top of that we have a massive absolutely insanely huge expansion planned and ready to go for the castle that i’m absolutely loving the castle’s gonna be extending so much further out this way now and it’s so so good so we got a lot of building to

Do now because we’ve got the elytra on hand ready to go so we can fly around all we need to we got shulker boxes to move resources all over the place but we’ve got one problem that we’re gonna be solving right now that involves these pants nope nope not those pants do

We have any other pants that we can use looks like we have to make new pants these pants these pants will be involved and over here we’ve got some amazing stuff happening here too i did a little bit of it netherright mining on stream recently so we’ve got right

There 14 more another right scraps for ourselves we’ve got ourselves four more netherride ingots i’m going to save this for right after we get the diamond leggings ready to go because i want to enchant those and see if we can’t get ourselves blast protection 4. now the reason being for

This one is i’ve been doing a lot of research inside of this minecraft world we’ve got unbreaking three right there and it’s fire production not quite what i want but we need blast protection so that we can have two pieces the helmet being one and then the legs would be number two

With blast protection so that when we take the main chess piece off right here that adds eight armor and three armor toughness and an extra protection four we don’t die to creepers anymore man that’s a really good pair of pants right there but it is not what we need at all

Oh this is taking a while we are out of levels this is the last final enchantment here please give me blast protection i haven’t even seen it on the table yet fire protection again no come on now all right we are headed over to mooshland and making this thing

Manually but first i’ve lost my bed somewhere so we’re sleeping at home we’re definitely gonna be needing one of these lovely mending books over here and do we even have blast protection the answer to that question over here is unfortunately a no so it’s unto villager trading for me

This project to get the unkillable well not unkillable but one trick uh creeper can’t kill a set of armor ready to go it’s taking a little bit longer than i thought all right my friend and down you go we’ve got plenty in here perfect you look like a great guy to sell me

Splash structure four yeah you do i really need to start keeping a catalog just in general of the enchantments i still need oh that’s six of an emeralds i think we already have it though anyway so it’s like sharpness five though wow cause i don’t know what i have and what

I don’t have so i’m just kind of like yeah i’m just looking for the one right now but there’s so many more i’m probably passing up on them like yep very valuable like cursive vanishing fire protection so close my dude so close oh my god it finally happened i’ve been here for way

Too long oh there it is blast production four let’s go ahead and i can’t even afford one of them right now off of my current emeralds so locking that trade in we only need one right now so i’m just gonna get the one and then

From there we will send him up to be cured we’ve got so many emeralds at this point that it doesn’t even matter blast protection four that’s gonna be a great pair of pants up you go time to meet with henry henry’s great you’ll love him oh there

We go there we go our brand new villager friend there you go buddy oh it’s gonna be so good shaky shaky shaky shaky we’ll leave him back there to do his own thing for a little while and uh we got all we need for now so let’s go to make this diamond

Pants for our flight suit we got the equipment flying pants but first since i’m here and my experience is pretty low i might as well do some villager training for a touch much much better can repair the tools up here too which would be great our villager seems to be feeling a lot

Better now and he’s down to 15 emeralds as well which is super sweet and i’ve made quite a few stacks of emeralds over here too so i’m gonna throw this guy in his nice new home all the way down here and there we go back to what i do best trading with villagers

That’s gonna have to do it right there almost three stacks of blocks of emeralds the rest of these pumpkins and melons we’ll just leave behind for now and i’ll fill these walls back in back over at the farming village now and we’ve gotta start getting busy here

We’ve got so much stuff to be doing today first and foremost we’ve gotta find where is it where is it where is it there’s the smithing table upgrading that guy to the weapon flying plants what do we got here that is netherright leggings love it combine that with

Our elytra sitting right up here which is gonna need to get repaired here soon and we got 22 rockets for ourselves that right there is our little flying set so we can take these off put the blast protection pants on take that guy off and put the electron

And we’ve got our flying armor ready to go the regular armor is going to be sitting right up there throughout these another right inglets i’m just kind of saving for now if you have ideas on what we can use them for let me know i’m leaning towards lodestones to be honest

But next up i was hoping to sort out our issue with fireworks here in the way of building a creeper farm however we need some cats and i have one fish i have one fish that i can use to tame cats and i could not find any others

Time to fish up some good enchantments for this little rod right here yeah yeah yeah unbreaking three luck of the c2 i can do better i can do better look at the c3 ha see i told you i could do better i think we want lure so it goes faster

But let’s see if we got anything sitting out here on the boat no we’ve got nothing not even the old fishing rod so i must have broken it okay well the sun is setting i’m gonna be sleeping out here in this lovely little bed and do a little bit of fishing so we

Can get some fish over here so we can go catch or tame some kitty cats at the surrounding villages that should hopefully do it on the fishy front for ourselves here we got 46 and 17 of the raw salmon as well i also found a lure two

Fishing rods so i combined them here together and i’m gonna leave this guy out here but for now it is time for us to head off to a village and hopefully find a bunch of cats step one right there any kitty kitty kitties around here

Anybody want to be my friend i need you to scare some creepers for me it’ll be a great life you can live in a box and everything that appears in that box wants to run away from you what more could you want come on come be my friends where are you

I’m not seeing any cats at this village so i’m moving on to the next one which is right over the hill here no that’s our village i think it’s this way yes there it is in the trees oh yes i see all the villagers have decided to join the animals inside of

The animal pen okay they all live in there now i’m not really thinking there’s gonna be many cats in this village now no luck down here just iron golems trapped in little ravines and a bunch of chickens and then the villagers all living in there together they’ve even

Made their way into this one not only the lower animal pen they’re in both animal pens if i remember correctly there should be a spruce tiger village out this way that might also have some kitty cats if not we could maybe try and get some going on mooshland

I’m not too sure yeah there it is okay another oak village for ourselves or another plains village we maybe can get lucky at this one come on please please please please please there’s one there’s one i see it kitty kitty don’t go in the ravine please not in the deep dark cave

No the opposite place you’re supposed to be running not the villagers two villagers you’re dumb oh cat you have a death wish oh i’m trying to save you i’m trying to save you from everything and you’re my friend yay they love me how’d you get the fly by fish guys

Don’t don’t just don’t think about it just out this way everybody now i don’t want to know what just happened to that chicken i i don’t want to know i don’t know how it died i’m really confused here but we’re gonna walk away kitty i can’t seem to find a second cat inside

This village so i might go back and check the first one and see if maybe something spawned while we were gone and otherwise i’m out of ideas right now what just died oh a zombie good job protecting the village look at you you’re the hero of the village anybody

Crouch and we wait and we crouch and we wait you’re gonna want this fish you’re gonna want this fish in my hand nope they don’t they don’t they don’t care i’ve got a fishy i’ve got a little fishy over here come on all the way over this way

I see you come here buddy i got a fishy for you look right over here no no that’s the opposite way i’ll follow you it’s fine it’s right here oh we’re so close villager you’re not helping no i blame you i blame you so much resorting to the flyby

Lure them in the ocean we can scare them into the water and then they can’t get away you cannot escape my love yeah i told you now where did my other one go he escaped me is that my other buddy are you another new one oh you’re

Another new one wait i want you to be my friend there we go we got another good guy right there hi little kitty okay where do mine keep disappearing i feel like they’re finding beds inside the village to sleep on you stay here i’ll be back just trying to find the dang siblings

There you guys are hi you guys want to come with me now let’s get off of the stair come on over there we go we’ve got three kitties in tow now that’s perfect and apparently a villager as well you stay back in your village bud i might have taken his bed though

There we go we’ve got everybody in here now let’s get some extra kitties rocking around here so we can slowly grow the size is it a herd is it a herd of cats i don’t know now that we’re just waiting for all those dudes to grow up

And be ready to go before we can actually build the creeper find my friends i’m going to breed up the bees one more time as we always do getting ready for this final bits before 1.17 and it’s going to be so so good but on top of that we’ve got some fields to

Plant in my friend so without any further ado it is montage time So [Applause] That is definitely a feels good man moment over here of we’ve got a brand new carrot field and we’ve got an even more massive potato field all the way over here i love this one i think they’re going to work out so fantastic back here and it’s starting to lead me off

To terraforming and landscaping this little section moving all the way over there i’d love to fill in a lot more trees around that point so the windmill feels like it’s in front of a bit of a forest right over here been breeding them up like crazy while we’re working on that

Stuff and check out all of these cats it’s so so good so what that means my friends as we can move forward with the good ol creeper farm i’m going to be using the exact same farm design that i use inside the amplified world because it worked wonders and it was absolutely magical

This is a design by chapman so i think what i’m gonna do here is clear out a little bit of a space moving down this direction so that we can build a lower level of the farm then what that would mean is when we eventually want to

If in the future i’m just like you know what i need even more gunpowder we can add a second layer onto this farm way above us and i think that’d be absolutely awesome so let me get some digging done and i’ll give you all an update here

Shortly from inside here now we need to get a cat sitting on top of that trapdoor and then we also need to fill in this area and get a cat sitting on top of that trap door right there as well from here i just gotta fill in trap

Doors along this entire area so it makes a little under two blocks tall i decided to add this little line of stone brick going all the way around the way just in case we’re digging around down here i don’t want to see like oh we’re free to find and dig out some

Dungeons or something like that and all of a sudden boom creeper in my face because i broke into the farm now before we break all the torches and get the cats in here and everything like that i figure it’s probably a good time to uh get the killing chamber ready to go down

Here and for good measure i’ll bring this down a good amount of ways so if we had to add like i was talking about the extra layers because i got room above us for one more and then we could actually have room below this one as well for one more if

We bring the water line all the way down here from here all we got to do is dig ourselves down just a few more blocks and hey we got a cave i don’t want to go down there quite yet i got the soulfire campfires on me that we’re gonna be

Dropping down so things will die uh and hopefully we don’t die right here and we’re in we’re in okay we’re in the cave we’re in the cave that’s fine we’ll figure out how to do this later and i knew there’s one down here he’s like you’re trying to do what to my

Creeper friends and a second one too see the farm’s gonna be great everybody they’re already spawning down here oh no no no no no no okay goodbye goodbye goodbye as mentioned they’re already spawning down here for now on the little drop shoot that we have we can go ahead and

Come all the way down here and just honestly using this lower area as the point where we can collect everything might not be the worst idea to just run through the cave for now and that’ll be totally fine and we want to get a nice little drop

Shoot area where all of our creepers can land in the bottom for when they’re filtered throughout the entire water system then from there we’ll fill the bottom half of this with some soulfire campfires so they burn their little toesies and finally we use some chests and a

Nice hopper chain right out the back that should do it for storage wise for a good well on this thing now we just actually have to get it working okay on to the next step since we have so many gray kitties and they seem the most uh

Expendable i guess we could say i’m gonna be bringing two of those with me come on right down this way my friends it’s gonna be absolutely fantastic oh there’s one of them hi buddy how you doing let’s just have you sit right down here okay yeah you sit right

There you’re gonna do great and now where did the other one go that’s what i want to know please oh there you are hi come on up here oh there you go you finally want to overwatch me okay you sit down there i’ll move you into your place in just a

Sec i gotta fill this back in and perfect there you go little buddy getting rid of those last two ones there in the center and then opening these in the middle everything should be falling all the way down there to the bottom and hopefully hopefully hopefully this worked as you can tell i’m

Very very sure this is gonna work well it looks like we did get some more gunpowder so i can actually make another rocket or two but i think we can take the scaffolding all the way to the top of the pillar and then we can test and

Just sit there for a minute and see if we actually got some gunpowder right this interior is so heavily decorated at this point in time i don’t even have a way to get to the staircase really future flip problems and i afk it has been a little over 30 minutes

Since the last time we spoke and i’m very curious to see if we have any gun powder at all down here i’m feeling very hopeful and if i if we don’t i don’t know what else i’m gonna really be doing at this point in time i guess there’s no

Elytra flight for me and we have 19. oh 30 minutes for 19 gunpowder after it was done okay what that tells me is one we might need to base ourselves a little bit higher in the sky and two there’s a constant struggle that i’ve been working on inside of this area

And that is lighting up caverns i’ve been doing a little bit of it for the slime farm i showed y’all and i think i really just got to go overdrive with this farm area over here too and just get a lot of these caves lit up that’ll be something that i tackle here

Soon we got another stack of rockets or so to keep myself moving here for a little while longer and i thought one thing we could do that’d be kind of fun is while we’re working through a lot of these castle things i don’t typically show you all the planning phases

That i go through so over here let’s try and figure out what we’re doing on this section together i’m thinking of course as we’re ending a little bit of a bridge here it’d be a great spot to throw a tower in so i’m singing a five by five section

But then a rounding or i guess beveling off the corners here so it’s not just a plain old box i’ve become a huge fan of the all of the archways that i’ve been using throughout these areas i think they look so absolutely fantastic so what i wanted to do back in here

Was actually come probably right along here and here and then go three blocks over or so like this and yeah that should be working out and then we can bring ourselves to right here and then from this point maybe we bring this a touch forwards and actually merge

These lines in here together where we can have another structure starting out and back in here i’m thinking we go what’s that one two three four and five that should be pretty good and then we could line these guys up together because then this building will connect

Into something i think what would be better in this case is that if we count it from this side because i want to turn this into horse stables back here we’re building the stables section of the castle so we need to plant it versus the number

Of horses that we can have so i’m thinking two horses here in the base of this one now this area into the center here is going to be largely out of cobblestone we’ll mess it up a bunch with a lot of dirt and things like that in the center as we

Kind of messy up the horse stables but i love the idea of having a bit of an archway right in here between these stone brick lines so that we have ability to close it off it’s a bunch of horses after all if one of them were to get out or something

Like that they want to be able to contain it so it doesn’t just mess up the entire castle going to the same pattern over here is we want to plan this on the number of stables that we’re having right in these little spots so i’m thinking we do probably two of them and

Then we head ourselves off this direction and do maybe two more right over here i guess that would be coarse dirt too and i’ve got this weird little gap back here but i feel like this structure would be rather short if it comes out only to there

So let’s bump ourselves like what would that be three and then maybe for now we can do a temporary line right back over in this point oh that gives me an idea though wait what if we come over here and we give ourselves a lower retaining

Wall for some archers to stand on as they’re shooting out from the castle we don’t really have any places like that any ramparts or battlements or whatever the heck you want to call them so maybe we solve that now so we can go like what three four and

Five right in here and then slowly merge this over this direction to connect into a structure right here that could work i like that yeah and then we just fill this whole thing in with cobblestone this will bring us up to seven blocks wide right over here and so i think a seven

Wide building and then a five wide interior space can be pretty solid for us sending that way far back in the corner and then i’ll do the other side as well and just give it seven blocks wide and that should be pretty good and maybe building that right off from here there

We go connecting ourselves all the way into the back corner here and apparently raised up a block okay we’ll have to deal with that as we’re going and then now we got a landscape all the way around this whole section but i was really liking the idea that we

Have right over there with that being a little battlement section so maybe we do come back over into here and maybe kind of one two and three blocks right here and we can do another little rounded thing on this point yeah that’s gonna look awesome okay so

Filling in this entire area with coarse dirt this with coarse dirt will bring some cobblestone all the way out here maybe raise it up a block actually that would be kind of fun having a staircase moving up there we got the archway in here we got stable stable stable stable stable stable

Stable stable stable stable everywhere and we got a big old tower here and maybe something to break up this building i don’t know let’s figure it out all here in good old fashion time-lapse Mode Here we are my friends it is looking fantastic in here the interiors still have to come together completely in these spaces but it’s gonna be so fun all of these little areas down here are so that the the rough smells of the stables can get out of here it’s

Not all trapped inside the buildings but holy cow we’ve got so much space to work with we’ve got some living quarters up there for the stable hands we’ve got area for a hay loft right up and here we’ve got these extra little points for although the hot air and

Gases to be able to get out of this place because uh let’s be honest animals can be kind of stinky and then we’ve got these areas that i love so we’ve got a little rampart down here and i’ve got to come back in and detail them out a little bit more

But that’s something we can handle here soon i’ve running so low on rockets these are the last 30 that i have at this point in time but check it out from all the way back here that is looking absolutely fantastically floaty that is something that i have an idea

For when we get to minecraft 1.17 to use the deep slate blocks instead of the stone blocks as our texturing for all of the cliff faces around here so i’m kind of holding off on the landscaping for now and i think that’s something that we can tackle here really soon

Because i just think it could look absolutely amazing so kind of wait in on the whole thing for the actual 1.17 release to come here soon but you know it’s very very soon at this point so that took about two hours to build the entire thing there and just

Get all those blocks in place and all that super fun stuff and now let’s see how much gunpowder we have down here is this any better or am i still in full on struggle bus mode struggle bus mode we have eight oh my gosh that’s a big bummer

The back side over here is rather plain for now because i’m not too sure what i want to do with this section now that i have extended it out so far that way we might be extending this section out a little bit further here too but the castle

Feels so good we can all walk all the way through the front gate now and get a pretty finished idea of what this is going to be we still need that structure right over there but for the other part of it the gatehouse is pretty much ready to go

Well the gatehouse is and then the first area once you get inside of it it’s all good straight ahead we need a building along there but you come over to this side and it’s feeling pretty finished off inside of here too and i am so in love with this place

But one thing we desperately need is probably some torches right out here for some light yeah just gonna throw a few of those around there i’m hoping we can mob proof the entire castle so it’s totally safe to be inside of here but that looks like

It might be a little bit of an issue i might put some bushes back there or something we’ll figure this out here soon but on that note my friends that’s gonna have to do it for today’s episode thank you all so very much for watching i do hope you all did
