GamerCory – OVERPOWERED GOLD FARM – Get Gold Fast – Minecraft Guide – Let’s Play Minecraft EP 12

Hey everyone my name is gamer corey and welcome back to another minecraft guide episode hopefully you guys are doing absolutely fantastic today i hope everybody is staying safe and healthy and all that other good stuff but anyway let’s go ahead and kind of dive into what we’re going to be doing

In today’s episode now in today’s episode we’re going to be doing quite a bit of time lapsing just so you guys are prepared and we’re finally finally going to be building our gold farm now i do have a tutorial on my channel of this exact farm

That i will be building here on the server so if you guys would like to check this farm out for yourself i definitely recommend it that link will be down in the description so you guys can check it out build it for yourselves and actually there is even a world download

To do is put in a brand new portal so i’ve actually grabbed some obsidian here and we got our flint and steel basically ready to rumble so let’s go ahead and do this now i have everything pretty much in my ender chest that i’m going to need in order to build

This project at least as far as i’m aware we’ll see i feel like i might be a little bit short on glass i got almost i think it’s like almost 18 stacks of glass for this build and i can’t remember i can’t remember exactly off the top my head how much i need

But you know what that’s perfectly fine we don’t have to worry about it we’ll get to it when we get to it but i am going to put a temporary portal up here and uh because this is where my main build is going to be and this should easily get us higher

Than another roof at least we should be able to i mean we’re going to be at what 185 185 yeah this is going to be great all right perfect and let’s go ahead and light this up beautiful i guess i didn’t even make it that wide but whatever

It’s fine i is what it is i usually like the taller ones anyway but i’ll change it up at some point in time now this get should get me up to the oh it connected to this one okey-dokey then well so guys according to my calculations

This is where i need to place my end portal now i should not technically be in the nether waste because that’s where we’ve already preloaded some of our another in so uh just from us playing on the server before and also and us not completely resetting it well

Let’s go ahead and put this here go with um cobblestone there and then we’re gonna go up three up three here like that and let’s go ahead and give it a try i’m hoping that well maybe if we don’t light ourselves on fire that would be probably a good thing oopsies hey oh

Okay well is off by just a couple so i guess we’ll just take this one down for the time being but i guess that worked all right well that’s fine and dandy so i guess i’ll get some of my obsidian back because i actually went and got a few more pieces

And we can light this one up and then this one should take us through to the bottom at least i’m hoping so anyway yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes all right perfect all right so we’ll go through here now and back to the nether roof yay and it works

It’s great all right so now he’s got to figure out where we’re gonna for our gold farm i’m actually going to put it pretty much right here at the the portal anyway because eventually this portal won’t be here it will actually be up there uh really close to my build because my

Piglen farm and my gold farm will actually be one build when it uh it’s gonna be my nether base i guess you could consider it only there’s only gonna be a couple farms there it’s actually not going to be in another nether it’s well it isn’t

Another now they were just on the roof all right so we have a lot of scaffolding uh that we can actually go ahead and use um let’s just grab all of it and i suppose this is as good as any right about there and we’re going to go all the way up to

Build height and then we got to start uh putting all our magma blocks down first so that should be a great load of fun all right so let’s see there’s a there’s already a stack of scaffolding done i didn’t make three stacks of scaffolding before i came into the

Nether so i’m hoping that that’s gonna be enough wow okay all right so two stacks exactly perfect all right time to go all the way up to the top well guys so far i’m at least protected in my little uh glass hut so i’m gonna stay right here and we’re

Not gonna do anything i’m just kidding uh we’re gonna be building the rest of the gold farm now um so what i’m gonna be doing is i’m gonna be building out 24 blocks from this specific spot right here oh that’s really close so uh just so you

Guys can kind of see what we’re working on again there is a tutorial on my channel but that that is build height or that’s going to be where our glass layer is going to be going and then we have our first magma block like a magma level and then this will be

Our last magma level right here and then but right there is basically where we’re going to be coming up from so you’re actually going to come into the farm right here and then you’re going to sit right here and that’s going to be on the left so

We’re going to be looking and slaying our pigmen or zombified piglens right here is where we’re going to be doing this at Hopefully you guys did enjoy that little bit of a time lapse it was uh quite fun making this it turned up obviously pretty good now we got the bottom portion to actually work on uh so we’re going to be putting in like the killing chamber which is basically going to be right

Behind me and again i want to reiterate that i do have a um a tutorial for this here on the channel if you guys would like to check that out so you guys can actually build this exactly how i am if you guys want to put down an entire glass floor you can

Definitely do that if you would like otherwise for the most part i would have to say that these uh walkways make a lot of sense but i probably am going to ultimately fill in this entire area uh at some point in time it’s just gonna kind of depend

Now the other thing that you guys might be wondering is why oh why am i wearing diamond boots all of a sudden now let me show you guys the reason no actually hang on before i do that i gotta i gotta do one quick thing and that is we need to um

Something like that for the time being and there we go perfect that’s a little bit better now we don’t have to worry about spawns on top of those items right there so basically i am using frost walker boots because i don’t have to i actually can walk out on the ledges

Without ever having to crouch and that way i can easily place down these magma blocks so crosswater walker boots actually have a reason now so that’s so i just crafted up some boots because i was gonna be standing and doing this for quite some time um and then i can always disenchant them

If i want to because i probably won’t be doing anything with magma anytime soon but that’s kind of why i did that because that ultimately will made it a lot easier for me to be completely honest well hello there uh we made some modifications and we’ve got the killing chamber all in

Place including the 24 mine carts and one of them is a hopper mine cart so we got 23 regular mine carts with one as a hopper mine cart that will suck all the items through you can kind of see how that is set up a little bit behind me i actually do have

A little bit of modification to make just right there that i can and that would be um i don’t want to throw my arrows out i guess let’s go ahead and grab that one and i guess we’re going to do is grab a slab lab from there

Then what we’re going to do is we’re actually going to put another block right back here which is where we’re going to be standing awesome all right so let’s take a look at what’s going on here so if we come up to the top here we’re actually going to be standing right

There right and then they’re going to be coming and funneling in area so we’re going to go ahead and cut that and you can see that we’ve got this being prevented and we actually need to change up this real quick because this actually is in the wrong spot

Well we need to oh we just lost it apparently uh we can actually come around i’m gonna come around this side and we’re gonna put one down there that’s gonna open up there all right so there we go i made a little bit more change

Not too much but so now this would be completely um to the fact that it’s afk able and if any items land on this block right here it’ll actually get sucked up and by this hopper that’s down below and then this is going to be killing

Mode that opens up this trap door but then we can get experience points and everything right through there then nothing will be able to jump out through us so we’ll we should be able to hit pigmen and everything else just right there which is going to be absolutely fantastic

I’m i’m very very excited about this now the other thing that we could do is we could actually have them drop down a little bit lower if we want to and i think that’s what i might do so we can guarantee that oh i don’t want to fall down because

That would not be fun we’ve definitely made a little bit more progress and we’ve got the dropping mechanism in so we’ve got the couple my cars are sitting up the top there then you guys can go ahead and you know they’ll separate between these three and then i actually need to put

A couple like um components in here and i’ll show you guys what i mean here so what we’re going to what i’m actually working on is it looks like i need a couple comparators so we’ll go back up here and grab those real quick i’m actually going

To replace this one piece of glass right here with some glowstone or some kind of lighting source just because that will really light up the area a little bit better let’s grab ourselves our comparators i’m actually going to need my repeaters as well here pretty soon

Um i’m going to need i’m going to grab my honey blocks and i’m actually gonna make as well well might as well be those yeah that’ll work for me let’s actually make our way back down here but we’re actually going to be doing right on this level is we’re going to be

Putting in That that way that way and face that way and then what this is going to do is right here we’re actually going to go i forgot my observers so joys of building in survival sometimes let me tell you got one facing up like that up facing up then we need to grab the

Observers and grab those guys we got 32 of these wonderful creations i love the i love the observers they’re so they’re so handy handy dandy um and then what i’m going to do is i’m actually just going to build out a little bit so that i can get all them easy actions

Grab the observers and then we’re going to go over there there and there and then what we’re going to do is we’re going to do on the top of around there perfect perfect what’s going to happen is when we actually throw something into say this hopper let’s throw in a stick i guess

I’m gonna go ahead and get sent out and it’s gonna drop down now it’s gonna go all the way down to the another roof because that’s where we don’t have anything collecting it as of right now but that’s actually the next system that i’m gonna be working on

All right so we have another update our contraption is all finished now the only thing that i have to work on is by putting in our collection chamber so we got a little bit below us that we can actually work with and then we’re going to be able to develop a nice floor

And all that good stuff so i’m very very excited with the progress that we’ve actually made with this uh build and i am super pumped to actually get this thing up and running and ready to go because i want to test it out so incredibly bad that you guys have literally no idea

Literally no idea and uh but yeah that’s what we’re actually working on right now um i figured this is what we’re gonna go i’m gonna go with uh six but we got one two three four five and then six and then i’m gonna go with one

Like this is gonna be golden nuggets six golden nuggets and then this will be i uh golden or gold ingots and then i’m actually going to keep um some rotten flesh i’m not going to keep swords because it yeah we don’t make enough from it and anything else i’m not going to keep

I’m not going to keep chicken i’m not going to keep feathers not going to keep anything even remotely close to that so then this will actually fire it off into lava uh eventually i’ll probably actually put lava lake right there that way it’s all take being taken care of and right at

This point what i need to do is all i’m doing is setting up a um um so yes we have to go back up top here build that i just got to grab a few of my supplies actually what do i got have enough redstone repeaters i’m hoping that i have enough

Uppers for this because this is gonna take quite a bit then we’re gonna have to throw in the double chest on top of that later so yeah we have the we have the on and up with on and off switch for manual and um automatic and we have this one that

Will actually turn the farm on so we need to make sure that that gets turned on prior to doing anything and then we can go ahead and turn it off it should be on right now because we’re actually not testing it i’m hoping that everything was

Gonna work just fine i i really really hope that it’s gonna be fine all right so let’s grab our hoppers here so guys we are ready ready for the test and we’ve got a couple things down below uh see if i can see them uh we’ve got the sorting system

All set up now i haven’t actually sorted anything because we haven’t like obtained anything so i need to run this farm for a little bit of time anyway let’s go ahead and give it a try now obviously i am super nervous about this um i am

Actually going to get my rockets to the ready just in case we need to bail i hope that doesn’t happen but let’s go ahead and i guess try this out and oh i’m gonna turn down the sound for you guys like completely off and we’re gonna give it a try

All right that’s actually actually going pretty good all right it is it is grabbing the stuff actually really fast let’s good all right yeah this is uh this is actually working out really nicely all right everyone i think our farm is successful so we have a few things that we actually

Need to uh just kind of work on um as far as getting the sorting system all filtered and whatnot then i’ve actually already labeled some filter items as well so i just need to separate these out how i’m gonna have it and we should be able to use this thing and

I am super excited about getting lots of level i just look at that quick little test and i think i went up like over 10 levels in a little bit of time and i was actually able to get some golden nuggets in my inventory actually relatively quickly so i’m very very very happy
