Louis I’m Dana McConnell with Microsoft Studios Xbox Live Arcade team and we’re looking at minecraft Xbox 360 edition it’s gonna be released this spring so obviously a super popular game on a PC you know it allows players to just get in and experiment build discover share their worlds with other people one of The things that we’re highlighting for the for the Xbox Live Arcade version is split-screen multiplayer so we’ve got we’ve actually have the ability to have a four-person split skiing screen game going on on one television so you’re able to invite your friends over come and play Minecraft together the two Of us can collaborate get some beers and some salsa and chips and just hang out play Minecraft we’ve also got a new crafting interface that was specially not designed for the Xbox 360 or the controller so if you’ve seen here you’ve already got the recipes in hand so we’ll Build a crafting table here just hop in there you’ve got your 3×3 grid and each each section of crafting items is is built out by category so you know these are things for around the house the next category is like tools and weapons we’ve got food armor and basically it shows You exactly what you need to put the item together it shows you if you have the materials or not if you do it’s gray it’s not you don’t it’s red and you just hit the a button and you’ll make that item so nope you don’t have to drag anything over And you don’t have to go to a wiki site to like look things up it’s all in there so it’s really nice we think it’s gonna be really accessible for people who have never played minecraft before for people who are super familiar with Minecraft it’s it’s nice and convenient to be able To have all that information at your fingertips and just be able to quickly get going so yeah we’re gonna have a multiplayer over Xbox Live as well you’ll be able to host a game invite your friends over to come flow with you chat and own voice chat it’s gonna be Big release it comes out this spring 2012 for Xbox Live Arcade Video Information
