Gaming Insanity! Unleash Blood Gods in Arcanum – Episode 05

[Music] what’s up everybody this is super tilt and welcome back to my Arcanum Institute gameplay series uh I don’t even remember what we did last time but uh in between I did make some Source crystals uh I you know farming some amethysts off of that and we also uh I also figured out how to do uh lava with this old thing we got a couple things of lava here uh basically if you put any smooth Stone within a 3X3 under this thing eventually as you throw at it to fill up the you know to fill up the jars whatever combustibles you want to put uh eventually they did they do they just turn into lava it just takes some time uh so yeah in these uh this uh archwood logs uh also give it a bunch of energy so uh yeah it just took took a little time that’s all we got uh a little more cleared out I got most of this area is pretty much cleared out pretty soon we’re going to have to start taking down some of these trees though which is going to be annoying because they’re not exactly trees so like when you they don’t break uh all the leaves when you get rid of all the wood so it’s going to take some time especially these two big ass ones right here they’re so they’re going to be annoying to take down but we’re going to take them down eventually let’s see what else did I get done um I made some uh oh yeah I made made some uh some Stone so I’ll have some smooth Stone whenever I need it and yeah pretty that’s pretty much it you know yeah like I got 20 Source gems now uh just made a bunch of them but anyway today I think we’re going to uh we’ll see if we can put together this enchanting apparatus I believe it was called in our uh Aries Novo thing uh yeah this enchanting apparatus uh we’re going to see uh how much of that we can build also you know I got some portals I killed some zombies uh we got 24 iron ingots so definitely not hurting for iron uh at least not at the moment I’m sure we’ll run out soon enough uh so yeah let’s uh let’s get started I think otherwise we’re going to try and do some other uh other mod stuff today like over here we definitely need to do this uh we need probably multiple saplings it just says one but we always need you know you never know you need some extras and considering this is Oak saplings I’m pretty sure we’re going to need some extras cuz we probably need the wood from it a bunch of it uh let’s do we’ll just do two do two and then we need um what exactly do I need for this does this need to be andesite or stone so it has to be smooth Stone got it and that is black dye which I think I got some if not we could probably I got a bunch uh we could probably go kill some squids on the at the school and get that done but okay let’s see so we need this oh all right we got some of these put them over here so that we know that they are the ones that are uh you know messed up because they do look pretty much other than being labeled occultism they do look exactly like a regular old oak sapling where did this hole come from did I not I must have not filled that in when I was messing around uh breaking stuff down okay and the other one we’ll just stick uh back there that’ll be good get those growing okay now we needed right we needed a stone we’ll just make one for now but I’m sure we’ll eventually need more of them and a black dye potion of something oh purified ink okay got it so we got and the main reason I’m doing this one is because if you go way down here you’ll see stuff like this dimensional M shaft and dimensional Miner which this stuff basically lets you uh make your it’ll let us make our own uh mining Dimension I mean hell we could go live there if we wanted to but uh mainly it’ll give us access to as much Stone as we want uh iron gold copper all the The Ore and whatnot you know in a a dimension that we can actually like break down okay and that gave us a storage actuator base and a dimensional Crystal Matrix which I have no idea what either of those are really used for let’s go ahead and find uh where is our occultism spot that’s blood magic X casting occultism yeah you all go down here so you can all go down there at least for now okay and I think this one is yeah I I looked a little bit at this stuff so yeah more black ink uh do I have oh right I need a flower do I have any black flowers left I do I have one there we go although really uh yeah see the other way would be to go to C yeah yeah if you want you can use black flowers you can use all sorts of stuff but if you really want you can just go to campus and kill squids need more ink or whatever it gave us a bunch of ink so we we’re probably good for a while okay so that’s done we just got to wait for them them flowers to grow how do I make this white chalk get a impure white chalk and then I’ll use ashes what is burnt other Stone oh that’s that okay so I make the stone then I smelt it and it’ll make powder the other stuff is probably burnt Otherworld acids right I need otherw World wood which I believe is the whole point of the trees you have to um you have to eat this fruit where’s it at the the fruit that I’ve been growing that looks like fish yeah this dream fruit when you eat that like the trees these occultism trees will appear to not be ult you know like normal trees cuz normally they will appear we’ll get that out of the way a little bit cuz that is kind of in the way uh but yeah when you put them um when these grow they look like normal trees but if you uh if you use the fruit they’ll appear to be the occultism trees and all that and give you the stuff oh yeah as you see we made a I made a bunch of source jars cuz one jar Harper thing was definitely not cutting it as far as uh it just fill up so quickly uh right we need to get that uh the lava let’s see what uh can I collect these and there we go we got a some lava lies me the other one don’t break oh my God and they keep coming back all right well we need to we get that get that lava we’ll leave the other there cuz that is an infinite source of uh of lava lies we’ll just leave that for now we can always just uh dump a bucket of lava somewhere if we want um a little lava Lily Farm what are those used in Aries nvo okay throw them in our nvo thing and then we have a bucket of lava which I think I’m just going to throw down here for now so I don’t dump it out just on accident or something uh but yeah yeah so that’s uh that’s how we get lava and all that stuff and let’s go back over here what did we get from this a bunch of lava lies okay not really sure what we uh they don’t even have a use function so who knows what exactly we use them for hopefully it’s not just Deco and they actually have uh some sort of use to them anyway um enchanting apparatus what did we need for the core we need some gold some [Music] Stones which is just smooth Stone uh with source source ores around them uh how many do I need over here six 78 n damn it I think if it was eight it’d be easier like uh we’d only need to do one of them but okay guess we got to do two of them and I need my thing let us craft there that around it there we go we got us some uh some Arcane Stone and what else did I need over here let’s see four and some sort of diamond we’ll use an alchemical Diamond I got uh one of those we’ll save our real diamonds some iron and the stone so that goes there boop boop boop boop one two three there’s our apparati then we had the thing that uh I believe it goes underneath it from if I remember reading it right yeah the arcane core directly underneath so we need six more Stone we need two gold which means we need our little Arcane ashes and what else do we need uh the glowy in here yeah it’s in here get our gold powder our Gold Bond Medicated powder I think that’s what we’re going to be calling that it’s our gold bot powder all right going throw an iron get our Gold Bond powder keeps you from the itches come on give me oh yeah I need two of them dang we’re about to run out of well not really but we are burning that Arcane ashes we can buy more of it at the store though or one of the goblin stores okay there’s our gold [Music] you don’t go in there okay what was it just uh was it six and then two for the sides yes six and two for the sides okay well there’s our first little bit uh let me do a u on this one two three four five so we need uh this one we actually need all of them um I was looking at the recipes for this thing and really all we need is six like all we’ll ever need for this is six of these Arcane pedestals uh so probably put one and then just do two more like right there and that’s all it like the highest recipe just used six um with the other one though it was like as you saw right there it went all the way so we’ll crack this thing real quick got another cluster for me cluster’s all over the place are you a cluster you sure are okay that give me uh four more ameth I can use that later make more Source gems I I did burn like a ton of that stuff uh making Source gems you know like all my amethysts I had a bunch of amethysts but I yeah turn them all into Source gems okay pedestals uh Arcane pedestals how do we make those now so we’ll make some of those since I got some stuff for it uh yeah right that’s just Stone so we actually need a ton more [Music] Stone can do that we’ll grab uh let’s do eight oh I don’t have enough for that we’ll do four cuz like I don’t have enough stone for all that to make more Stone okay we’ll just go ahead and do that and use most of our Stone and get a bunch of that okay so it was seven each so do just go ahead and put it out and we got five of these two three four five I’ll just make some more later you know some more um and then this can probably go want to put it right next to the other one I guess let’s see they could share they could share some pedestals maybe uh but I think now we’re just going to we’ll just put it uh over here for now we can always just move it later it’s got to break the floor I don’t want to break the floor but I have to make the thing uh or to put the other thing below it touch now we’ll live okay so core chanting bobber I guess we’ll just do those like that or wait no no that Arcane darkstone pedestal what is that for be for something else something else okay enchanters [Music] tools I don’t think I need any of these uh let’s let’s see okay uh so the wand lets us basically put a spell in a wand it’s like an extra spell slot but it uses the paper that we haven’t made yet it like we have to go up here and make uh spells put them on Scrolls then we can do that sort of thing uh let’s see so it makes arrows and spell arrows so I assume you put like a you have to have Mana that but that’ll be fun Later lifs [Music] cast Okay enchanter’s mirror uh I’m not exactly sure if that just means I have a spell on me as long as I have the mirror or if I just use the mirror it’s like yeah I don’t know how that works uh but I get I get the sword it basically lets you put a spell effect on the sword and when you hit with the sword you get the spell effect we ain’t going to worry about any of that stuff now and then our next uh spell book this is an Aries new vog gate Pearl hold up stop trying to set up let me look at that we scroll to oh there we go okay uh so it’s just zombies we get some loot rolls but then it’s like Wilden stalker Wilden Hunter Defender I don’t know what any of the Wilden things are uh so we’ll hold off on that for now is a glyph of exchange okay sure it switches blocks and then that’s the transmute thing that we kind of would like to have cuz that means we wouldn’t have to use those damn Ashes to get the gold uh so what do we need for this ring we actually have a lot of this uh we can do diamonds and alchemical diamonds and definitely at this point uh but we need what is a ring of okay that’s easy enough we do that too the ender pearls are going to be the tricky part he that just breaks up into that is there any way to make these is the question um that’s a blaze rod we don’t have none of that or gas tiers I don’t think I can make them either okay nope none of that I do have a thing [Music] to oh oh but that requires end Stones we ain’t doing that I don’t know what any of that is it’s just a dragon’s eye nope nope probably going to have to kill some Enderman I do have an Ender thing around here somewhere an Enderman gate Pearl but I would need to set up a an Enderman thing so we’re probably not going to be making that ring today anyway either way I need like to make more Arcane things to go around this and all that nonsense and collect some source and whatnot uh to to get that done here we’re going to throw you in here put the gunpowder in there too so yeah we ain’t going to worry about that right now uh I think I want to start uh getting some of the blood magic stuff done uh so we need a slate make the Divination thing we need a redstone dust and a slate which I do have pretty sure I got all that stuff so we’ll get that started where you at uh it’s probably there it is and we need the Arcane ashes put this plank in here so we need that that and I need the r some Redstone there’s a red ststone so I believe it was this then this then this there we [Music] go make my sigil boy we go have too many too many things all right that got the sigil done so we get a note and I believe that is oh actually no I have no idea what this book is oh that’s a okay that stores XP I just do there we go yeah we can just hold down shift and right click and I believe yeah and you right click and it’ll give it back to you there we go we’ve stored our XPS in a book uh do I have anywhere to put that book for now uh what do you go to blood magic yeah we’ll just yeah I guess we’ll just stick you in here for now but we’ll definitely need like a I need to make a box like a special box that’s like tools and whatnot that would need to be separated uh like this stuff we put this and this stupid Shield I made a shield I tried I tried messing with spells and shields it did not go well like you basically like if you want to use a shield you can’t use a Spellbook at the same time you’re going to need to um I did do a there is a trick I mean you could do like this uh you put the shield in and then you do the is it uh here we go oh nope that’s the wrong button what is it is it f I think it’s F yeah so F I’ll let you use a shield but like if you’re just uh oh wait we’re trying to break stuff but if you’re just yeah see like if you try and block with a shield obviously you know you’re just going to shoot spells cuz right click is how you use your spells uh so you can like God damn it I did it that’s second time uh but you could switch like and then put the shield in your main hand and then you can hold right click and it’ll block with it but it yeah as you can see not exactly uh easy to use a shield like basically just annoying SL impossible we’re gon go ahead and throw the shield in there uh but yeah maybe we’ll figure out uh maybe the um the enchanted sword we’ll get the enchanted sword we’ll put a uh a spell of harm on it and like a projectile harm maybe we can make it like link sword then we’ll be able to use a shield uh but okay we got these blood magic notes there are basically two paths this is like there’s a path of uh using your own life points to uh to fuel the blood magic or uh using other things uh other things can usually be a little more annoying to set up so we’re going to start with this one and also uh you can go to the shops and you can buy another one of these blood magic notes and you can also just buy the daggers so doesn’t really matter which one we start with uh just overall but we’re going to start with this one cuz it is just easier to set up and get all the the stuff for oh we also got some Runes of self-sacrifice I believe those make it easier I have no idea what an incense uh alter is I do not remember that from um from blood magic uh before so we’ll just throw this stuff in here cuz I don’t think we need it just yet I don’t even think we need the Divine sigil we might actually need our knife uh CU we probably have to go back to town to like to make a blood alter we need a reinforced slate which is a second tier thing uh so we have to get a blank slate which is uh just Cobblestone so easy enough but then we have to do life force and get the thing and we have to do it twice to get enough uh but otherwise we have all of these other components or at least can make all of the other components uh what is that what was that talking about there was a lot in oh just uh for assistant in obtaining basic crafting materials check out the progressing chapter uh which we have already done most of that so we ain’t got to worry we ain’t got to worry about that too much uh but we do need to go back to the uh to campus probably just use this map go to the blood alter class or the blood classroom there’s probably an alter here somewhere alter can I stick uh I sacrifice yeah there’s Runes of self-sacrifice and everything all right cool just got to do this and we need oh we need a regular Cobblestone we’ll be that the basic room no that is the reinforc one awesome so we’re done some food get our HPS back is this helping its heal quicker cuz that was like really quick for a second there I don’t know what uh yeah that seems to be increasing faster I wonder if this thing makes it go faster I don’t know why is that got weird it looked like it had stuff on it okay so we have everything we need to make uh alter at the house or the the at the house at the uh you know at the dorms so let’s head on back uh did I not give you I’m somehow oh right I I okay that’s why we don’t put it in a book is and I don’t have the book with me that’s fine this thing moves pretty quickly with the they give you a speed buff in here need to go downstairs out the front door but yeah I stuck all my XP in a book so I can’t teleport what can you do not stick your XP in a book that’s what you can do that’s what I probably should do not worry about it too much unless I’m fighting stuff and I feel like I’m going to die or something and that would be a a reason to do that all right we get back out of here all right back to the dorms with me stupid stairs get my XP back back we’re getting at least a a few levels we might we might keep a bunch of it in there but we need at least like 10 levels on us at all times make sure we can teleport about we going to do that right now we’re getting just so we don’t run in this issue again all right one two three four five six seven 8 nine 10 we go that’ll do that will leave us with the stuff okay so we need uh what do we need to make our thing so any stone can it does it need to be okay just smooth Stone a furnace three gold that’s what we need actually need is three gold that what is it uh iron in our Gold Bond Medicated powder one two three there is our Gold Bond powder so I need to we’re going to put this up in the front so we actually yeah there we go now we know what this container has in it one two three three Gold Bond powders okay I believe it was iron first right let’s see uh iron first we can make bedrock I mean I don’t see how we break it up again but makes me not want Bedrock just make a mess with it okay oh we got one of our trees all right cool we’ll go break that down after we get our uh get to our gold make our thing yeah gold there we go all right uh this goes up here okay and we needed that and was there anything else well let’s go ahead and get uh get it started that is basically everything okay we are ready to craft furnace there three below that goes there and then we need one two three four and now we have our own blood alar where are the things we got us a couple of these these just throw it out here somewhere for now needs to be Pro well I guess actually doesn’t it doesn’t matter but yeah we’ll just put it uh go on this yeah there we go all right and then we’ll knock out these two blocks and we’ll throw these in and give us a little bit of a boost when we use it oh it’s so awesome awesome being able to see how much is in here oh wait but it I forgot it does like actually slowly drain out so there’s no point in me actually putting anything in there now cuz I’m not really crafting anything with it at the moment we need to make our weak blood orb is that just a diamond yeah Diamond thing uh we might okay hold up let’s see if we can do this before it runs out grab a diamond Diamond think we have all this bread uh diamond in the thing is that enough or we probably it’s probably not enough I didn’t really look to see how much I needed to make the thing oh no are we done no no we just burned it out we burned it out okay that’s fine we will do that some other time or I might even do it in between episodes just as I cuz I have to sit there and bleed and make sure we got enough and all that stuff okay uh but we are done with that for a second uh put our knife up here uh we do need uh some of these fruit so we can break this thing see right now it looks basically like a regular old tree but if you eat the fruit oh look at that it is a a very much different tree we don’t have long so we got to break it as quickly as possible I don’t think any of the stuff I get from it is anything we do have some otherw World logs uh how many do we need for our Quest that is the question now it’s like uh 16 how many did I get six oh okay so we might need some more trees actually so let’s make some more trees might have to wait on that get us some more trees do a couple [Music] more you there and we’ll put you a little bit further back should be separate enough that they’ll want to grow proper okay let’s see a lot of that stuff just kind of goes up here somewhere somewhere okay you don’t go in there you were in here aren’t you yeah there we go what I wouldn’t do for like simple storage networks or something something be so much easier or was it simple network storage I think that’s what it was called all right so we’ll get the wood when it uh when it [Music] grows see how we’re uh how are we doing we got to make a right alchemy table far as a regular Blank Slate otherwise that’s pretty basic stuff about the hell for that is also pretty basic stuff that is a block of iron though that’s like 11 iron in one thing how much iron did I have 15 that is a lot of iron all right let’s uh kind of getting close to the end of the episode anyway Let’s uh let’s see let’s throw this up here so it has us spot where it goes you go in there we’re down to our basic materials we can throw uh the knife in there and yeah don’t I have a thing did I not buy another one I might have not bought one I have a zombie spawner thing I don’t think I do okay I guess I didn’t buy one when I well I farmed a few zombie things to get the iron um I switched to the medium ones oh wait we buy it up here Beast Master I switched to the medium ones we could try a hard one but I don’t know if I’m necessarily ready for it yet at least not today I might try one we’ll see how it goes but uh yeah let’s get the coins put the coins give me some zombies so I can get some more irons because we’re going to be running out soon enough I kind of want to just get rid of that damn uh lava bucket spot down there [Music] yeah so the the like I don’t know what are these uh I don’t know what these guys are called I can’t like stop long enough husk these husks they come out a little earlier and in greater numbers in the medium one than the small one I would guess in the large one it is like a whole lot more of the husk things which is cool you know maybe they have better drop rates who knows stuff for wave there’s the wave all right oh God it’s getting tricky yeah I mean I can handle it but uh who knows what how how harder a uh a large Pearl would be call a pearl but a large you know gate Pearl thing I could probably handle it we’ll try it next time it’s just one freaking iron you going to give me more than one iron there’s a lot of you this time um cool if y’all drop more than one iron husk could get out of here yeah all right oh God I wonder if the husk make everybody quicker maybe that there special ability I have to look it up almost there almost there there one guy left better give me a reasonable oh we got a portal we got a small one that’s awesome yeah sometimes they’ll give you a like we yeah we got a gold coin and we got a small zombie portal for free so I think we’re going to knock out right now since it’s free and we got a ton of rotten Meats uh cuz that’s like two gold right there I think it’s a gold a stack something like that yeah you’re you’re easy compared to the big one course that was just wave one stuff give me the stuff oh we got another tree cool probably not enough wood though considering how much I got last time and that looks basically like the same tree so probably just need to wait I’ll try and do it in between episodes get all the wood together for that and we’ll uh we’ll check out the quest Rewards when I when when I uh record next that sort of thing got one got that free iron bars that side stepping get another one sweet don’t as often get them in between we definitely you know you get like a few of them at the end oh God that’s a that looks like a Husk in a leather suit that’s scary imagine hus in like full set of diamond armor or something see that’s what like that’s the thing with the the big ones like you just see him come out with a bunch of diamond armor on make it that much harder and you have a time limit that’s you know that’s what worries me about the larger ones is just not beating the time limit like if you don’t kill the wave you it just stops like you know if you just stop on the first wave you’re you know that’s all you get out of it so it kind of makes me feel like it’s not worth it just yet uh to do the the large uh portals but I might try one in between episodes and see how it goes got another cluster here but yeah okay we got a we got a bit done uh today we got this uh this thing going and we got uh our uh we got our underworld or whatever the uh is this occultism I think this what it’s called yeah cultism we got our occultism stuff kind of going uh we are yeah pushing along pushing along anyway uh yeah I’ll try
