In the last stream chat we were working on basically two things uh we started with the bonsai pots over here uh we set up basically these two with the chest going into the storage door we have all of our storage drawers collecting all of the drops from the bonsai pots

And between episodes what i’ve done is i’ve gone ahead and added a second chest with two more bonsai pots here people did tell me that endstone is better for the bonsai pot for growing the wormwood sapling here previously when i was looking at jei i was under the impression that um the

Growth time of 110 on the stygian grass would mean that it grows faster however i’ve been told by the youtube comments that uh growth time of 100 means it takes 10 longer and drop chance being 90 means that it drops uh 10 less so we actually want the end stone because

The end stone is both 10 faster and gives you 10 more uh if the youtube comments are to be believed which i believe they they are and so hopefully now we’re getting you know more apples more saplings more sticks and more planks and therefore as a byproduct hopefully getting more mana

As well we also set up this little system over here which is allowing our mechanical miner here to break the endstone when it turns into cobblestone via the old pure daisy here so now we do have well over a stack almost two stacks actually of cobblestone in our mechanical minor which is

Pretty nice chat because what i want to work on in today’s stream now that we have a good amount of cobblestone is i would like to finally try and get the terrain scanner and the biome scanner that’s going to allow us to finally complete this first chapter of advancements here

And move on uh to the next chapter the another chapter and it’s also going to allow us to start rebuilding the nether now to do that we of course have to make the terrain and biome scanner both of which are not necessarily the easiest items uh

In the world to make they’re both made in the assembler and they both require some kind of casing both the terrain scanner casing and the biome scanner casing both of which are not too bad they both require a ccb which again we’ve made before it’s a lot

Of copper cable a few more capacitors some redstone and then this clay board which is clear and abundant that seems easy enough i get more basic capacitors get more copper wire and then we also need four dark steel and four end steel which in turn does require dark steel and so

That means we’re gonna need eight dark steel to make that happen which is eight obsidian eight uh called dust add eight iron now if i am not mistake and we actually don’t have eight obsidian now i think given that one of the first things we’re gonna do today chat

We also could do with some fuel in here although we are pretty much out of fuel like all of our bonsai pot fuel has been uh has been taken until it is being taken and has been turned into mana uh let’s put a bit of coal in there i guess temporarily

Yeah that should be fine um i do want to put the colon here as well though to actually get the coldest that we need but i think we’re going to need a fair bit of obsidian today chet and so i think what we’ll do to start with is we will head on over

To the end dragon and we’ll get some obsidian all right we will take damage here as always i should really probably chat look at getting a um either a tinker’s hammer or a thermal expansion hammer that’s capable of mining this obsidian because it would allow us to get

A lot more a lot faster right now we can oh somebody else has been here as well but right now we can get it but every so often we do get kind of interrupted by the dragon which is uh less than ideal so now that we have a little bit more obsidian and

Now that we have some pulverized coal here what we should be able to do chat is grab some of our iron ingots which are being smelted up in here and we should be able to put eight iron eight coal dust and eight obsidian into the old alloy smelter here

That is going to very slowly but surely get us the eight dark steel that we need uh to make both the terrain scanner and the biome scanner while we wait for that to do its thing chad um we do also need two machine blocks and each machine block requires four

Unstable ingots therefore each machine block requires four diamonds i would also chat like to make um a generator today a better generator i should say because the terrain scanner and the biome scanner do require a lot more redstone flux and so if we’re gonna power these effectively i

Think we want to look at getting one of these extra utilities generators or maybe a few of these extra utilities generators now people in the twitch chat did recommend the culinary generator which i initially thought was a good idea because we do have 1 902 apples in our storage right here however

I don’t know if we can make this because um while we can get you know wheat here and we can get red alloy ingots and we can get a furnace generator um i don’t know if we can get any of these middle items specifically like we can’t

We definitely can’t get uh you know uh pork or steak or like chicken i thought maybe we could get fish but i’m fairly certain that we can’t fish in the nether you can fish i can’t confirm that ooh so the pet creator is confirming that fishing is possible okay

Maybe i just got really unlucky in my my test world let’s make a fishing rod i don’t know if we need a larger body of water i’m fairly certain by default you should only need like a one block of water to actually fish we could maybe

Do with making a bigger one we do have the rod of the seas of course and and this could make a larger pond if uh if necessary but i’m not sure chet i’m not sure i can’t confirm you need a three by three really someone i’m getting conflicting conflicting uh

Messages someone says one by one works someone says you need a three by three puddle fishing oh oh never mind chat look at that well all right in that case then um it looks like we can make the culinary generator which i think is probably the way to go

Because we can use apples for it so there’s our fish which means we can make this generator but my point when i brought this up is that if we’re going to make a generator a terrain scanner and a biome scanner each one of those machines requires a machine block and each machine block

Requires four unstable ingots and so if we’re going to make all three of these blocks here we need at least 12 diamonds all right so now that we have 23 diamonds chat a little bit of diamond mining later we should now be able to make finally this terrain scanner

Earlier in the stream we did of course set our dark steel going here so we have the dark steel required for the uh terrain scanner casing all we need now we need to make another machine block which does require a regular crafting table our regular crafting table is currently in here so

We’ll throw that down and then if we’re gonna make the terrain scanner as well as the biome scanner and the coronary generator we need three simple machine chassis so the question becomes how much oh how many grams uh how many grains of infinity do we have

The answer is nine so let’s see if we’re gonna make three of these that’s actually very doable i think we might already have some iron bars and even if we don’t we can definitely make more fairly easily yeah we have some in there nice okay so let’s do three of these

And then do we have some more iron we don’t it’s not been uh it’s not been smelted all right that’s uh also for now at least somewhat fine we definitely do need a better generator though we should also check probably start the production of the end steel ingots needed here so for

That we need dark steel and stone and obsidian that seems durable so four dark steel four headstone and one two three four obsidian as well that’ll let us get the biome scanner in in a moment when we need that for now though let’s grab the remaining iron and uh are we missing just

One iron ingot here actually yeah we are that’s fine okay so we have three of these we now need to craft each one of those into a machine block which needs four unstable ingots and four sort covered rats done so the sort covered redstone is enough we need 12 1 2

3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12. beautiful and then the unstable ingots are iron sticks and diamonds which is where things get a little bit dicey so we’ll do the four sticks one two three four diamonds and one two three four iron okay okay i’m gonna

I’m gonna get everything just in place because again they don’t they don’t stack i’m gonna free up some slots up here as well so we’re gonna put our eye in here so i think i can shift click that recipe i can indeed one two three four one two three

Four and one thank you okay that was it it’s always way too close i always feel like i take so much longer than 10 seconds but apparently i don’t that’s fine all right we need three of these so we’ll do the same again here okay let’s make sure we have these a bit

Higher up maybe okay one two three four four done okay it’s all right check it’s all right we’re doing it we’re doing it one two three four well you you and you all right third and final time okay we did it all right a little terrifying chat but we did it

We did it so that’s probably the hardest part taken care of now we just need uh to get another ccb a copper wire and two basic capacitors we do have six uh grains of infinity here i think we’re going to be a lot of copper thankfully

We do have a fair bit of it and we’re gonna need some gold ingots as well so let’s make chat some basic capacitors the ccb is more basic capacitors more wire clear and redstone so the wires chat are made with blocks of copper we take blocks of

Copper we could plunk them over here with our small plate presser like that and then we share those with our regular minecraft shears we do have a spare capacitor in there as well i should bear that in mind where are my shears there they are okay so that’s gonna get us a good

Chunk of copper wires uh we do need i’m gonna make all of these into copper wires i don’t need quite a few of them so what are we missing now chad we are missing two redstone and then the clear burn hybrid right now we only have three

Bone meal however how much do you get at a time here you get two at a time so three is actually fine in that case chad let’s grab some cobblestone actually let’s just grab some sand and let’s go make some clean there we go i guess there’s six which is enough for

One plate now we are going to get some more of that for the uh biome builder but for now the one i think is fine and then at that point i think we’re basically there right we’re just missing two redstone which is very easy for us to do we have

Quite a large amount of it lying around all right boom so there’s our ccb unsmelted of course so let’s go and uh smelt that if we can over here once that is smelted i’m pretty sure we’re good to go on the terrain scanner casing and at that point i think we’re basically going

To go on the terrain scanner itself we do have to build a building gadget which does require two diamonds but we do have um 11 lying around in our inventory so i think that’s probably actually just fine uh we need one more basic capacitor which means we need just

A little bit more in the way of golden nuggets but once we have one more of those that gets us the terrain scanner casing and then from there we need a empty map which is a compass and eight paper which seems very doable right now we

Have two paper in there we have 11 paper in there so boom and boom that gets us the empty map and then finally chat we need the building gadget which right now is missing one lapis and four iron four iron later and boom we have a building gadget so nail

Chat we need to move the old assembler well first of all we have to make sure there’s enough power in the assembly so let me get a little bit more coal and let’s throw that into the the generator here then let’s move our assembler to there we’re going to put in the

Terrain scanner along with the building gadget and the map and then we also need of course that bucket of solder which i believe we do have we do indeed we have two of them lying around we’ll throw that in as well and that should begin making is what we’re after now

Unfortunately it would appear that this does require quite the amount of redstone flux all right chat the terrain scanner is done i’m gonna move the uh the assembler here because it was sucking up power that i didn’t need to it didn’t need to be sucking up

Uh but we have the terrain scanner okay that’s part one of two complete like this quest requires a terrain scanner and a biome scanner and the biome scanner isn’t too much more difficult than the terrain scanner but it’s gonna take us a while much like the um the terrain scanner did

And so now we’re just waiting for the five electrical steel once we have the five electrical steel we should be able to make the uh the culinary generator boom boom culinary generator acquired so the plan now is to find our terrain generator where the heck did i put my terrain generator

It’s here why did i put it away i have no idea anyway so chad the plan now is to grab some apples eat some apples and then we’re going to head on through to the nether i believe now that finally we should i think actually be able to start

Regenerating than ever the way it works if i’m not mistaken is over here in the nether we can put down our terrain scanner as well as our culinary generator we’re going to put some apples into the culinary generator that is going to produce some power and then it says terrain scanner warning

May appear broken with android conduits and capacitor banks current block off end block and it shows the number here uh place ultimate biome scanner to show map i think if we turn on and and don’t we probably should have taken some blocks with us so we didn’t have to uh

Stay on the edge like that but i believe what we should see is look at that chat look at that we are rebuilding the uh the nether slowly but surely and in fact if we turn this off what we could do here chad i think actually water doesn’t uh work in

Another uh but what i was going to say is what we could do using our light right is we could go and i think utilize what i’m fairly certain is bedrock there to get a good amount of like a good number of grains of infinity so before we regenerate any more let me

Actually try something here if we go slash home and we grab our flint and steel what we should be able to do is uh i think fly down and basically get a lot more grains of infinity a lot faster so if we do like if we just start lighting these on fire

Unlike in the end where we have to manually break them i think what should happen is these should just pop on their own like that and give us and give us grains of infinity so we can get them a lot easier here because we don’t have to manually do the braking

And plus there’s just a lot more bedrock here of course eventually we are going to want to um we are going to want to rebuild the rest of the never but for now i think it’s probably not a bad idea given how many grains of infinity we need

It’s probably not a bad idea to try and get just like a nice number of them going but but yeah you can see somebody on the server has already started building you know rebuilding a good chunk of their nether over there i will probably start building you know moreover in that

Direction to not collide with them but as we go forward we’re going to start building more and more of the nether uh we’re going to get access to things like lava as well as things like glowstone and we can also if we want obviously set up some kind of

Mob spawners uh we could try and find a fortress you know if we build that far enough i think that’s what the the biome scanner is going to allow us to do it’s going to allow us to find even more uh like it’s going to allow us

To find the biome we want before we start committing to rebuilding it but yeah that’s the plan chat we’re gonna go forward uh unfortunately we’ve not unlocked the next questline yet because we do have to actually get at the biome scanner before we can do

That so i think what we’ll do in the next stream chat is we’ll come back and we’ll start by making the biome scanner i’ll try and get all the stuff i think before the next stream just because we’ve made pretty much all of this um already and we’ll start the next

Stream but with the biome scanner uh we’re probably gonna want to make more generators maybe um although um as it has been pointed out we can now if we want uh look at making speed upgrades because uh the speed upgrades do allow us to get more power out of our current generators

Um at the cost of you know redstone and gold here we do the resonator but now we have the nether we can probably get magma blocks fairly easily just some lava in the old mechanical drying basin and as you can see we’re probably going to get lava

Fairly soon as we build out more of the of this chunk here so um so yeah let me do a quick slash at home it’s a little difficult to get up to that uh that platform now i think i will quickly build a bit more of the nether

We can also check if we want speed this up there we go if we bump it up to it does start to use more power if we speed it up you know 17 blocks per tick there but it is working and you’ll see we are spawning like guests and whatnot in here

The gas did die instantly to um [Applause] to the building of the blocks over it it is pretty quick though it doesn’t require a ton of power like i said i think this produces uh 40 redstone flux per tick so that’s not a whole lot

And then we go chad i see right there we have already no we already have magma blocks so if we head on back there we can uh grab our stuff of course and then we can actually grab these magma blocks and therefore the resonating redstone therefore the the resonator shouldn’t be really

Difficult at all for us nice and this making speed upgrade should be fine and thus getting more power should be fairly easy to do at which point we can run more machines and it’ll hopefully be a lot easier for us to get you know stuff like the bottom scanner and the terrain scanner

Going forward as well um but yeah i think chat that is where i’m going to go ahead and wrap up today’s stream for now now i’ll be back tomorrow at 4 p.m bst where we’ll hopefully pick up with some more of this here um there have been a bunch

Of suggestions of things we can do and i’m very much so open to that we could switch over to using uh the gorillas flowers here instead of endor flames for producing mana uh we could also look at getting the orchid endium which i think is definitely

Going to be something that we do want to do and in order to allow us to get even more oz you know more easily which i think is also going to be a good idea getting gigger automatic oils coming in is going to make our lives a whole heck of a lot easier

And uh hopefully chad now that we have access to the end um we can get into some new pneumatic craft and we can hopefully look at getting you know the regular versions of the alloy smelter and the sag mill as opposed to the basic versions uh which would hopefully allow us
