My plan i’m gonna re-roll this villagers trades until i get what i want i know that some of you are probably going to consider this a little bit cheaty but it is a mechanic in the vanilla game so i feel that i’m free to do this and it should make things a

Little bit easier and cheaper than normal okay this one’s actually really good and really tempting but it’s not what i want and it’s expensive all right buddy can you get out of the yeah i don’t really want you leaving to be honest and nitwit stay out

It’s fine it’s fine i’ll tame the cats later so i have 14 emeralds which means i can lock this guy’s trade in but i can’t get any more so i’m gonna need to do a whole bunch of trading luckily for me though i have several of these farmer villagers that

Do a great job of trading and you’ve just upgraded to give me pumpkins ah you’re the best how did you know i needed that conveniently i have began my own pumpkin farm out here it’s not much and i know that we should get an automatic one but i don’t have the

Resources for an automatic one yet and this is perfect it’s doing the job suppose we should also do some wheat farming since we’re trading it all away while i’m here i’m also just gonna start a little carrot farm because carrots are also one of the trades my villagers have

All right here’s another farmer that can give me some more emeralds amazing thank you so much i have 20 emeralds i just need 22. so this is actually so good okay where did our lovely little villager go hello sir no no don’t walk away from me please fortune two oh my gosh

So thankful okay great and i just have to do it one more time and you know what you have a paper trade so maybe i can get the final emeralds from this villager’s paper trade my early game sugarcane farming is really coming in clutch here look at

This i have so much paper heck yeah hey dude i’m back would you like to trade me some paper there we go and now we have 11 emeralds once again so i can get another book pleasure doing business with you and this villager is officially upgrading now and we got blast

Protection do you know what normally i wouldn’t be that excited about blast protection and discounts but it’s actually really cool because it means that we’ll be able to be safe from creepers if we buy that and it’s only 23 23. i’m tempted to get that now and put

It on a chest plate just because creepers won’t be able to one-shot me if i have that that’s so good anyways creeper troubles aside i think it’s now time to use some of our iron to create that anvil that i was talking about oop don’t have enough

Hang on i do have enough i just i put some of it away i don’t know why i keep putting my valuables away it’s not like i’m gonna be able to come back here if i die anyways there’s an anvil just for aesthetic purposes i’m gonna put the

Anvil over here i think it’ll look good and now we just combine these two books together it costs six and now we have fortune three very epic i’m gonna make a fresh iron pick and we’re going to shove fortune 3 on this iron pick i know normally you would want it on diamond

But this will be fine we’ll only use this on diamonds and iron picks naturally have 250 damage so we would have to mine 250 diamond ore for this to break i’m not that worried about it to be honest now that i’ve realized how incredibly overpowered villager trading is i think

It’s just time to get down to some farming to be honest just relax let my wheat grow my carrots grow maybe expand my fields a little bit and just generally enjoy some farming i’m waiting for my fields to grow so while i’m doing that i’m just going to fix the terrain a

Little bit in here it’s bothering me how uneven it is and there’s this like big weird lump of terrain right here i’m just gonna take it down one notch i’m not gonna completely even this out i kind of like that there’s a wall here it’ll give some cool variety but this is

Just a little too weird plus we’ll get some dirt back which is always great mission accomplished this is looking way cleaner already honestly it’s kind of low-key bugging me how incredibly messy this entire area is i would just like to go through and slowly clean it up like look at this

Look at these path blocks they’re so messy why why villagers gonna relocate the dirt that we just picked up to this wall over here where there’s this really weird area where it sinks in there’s no need of this we’re just gonna fill it in back to harvesting pumpkins and planting wheat

We’re basically just playing farmville at this point oh my gosh it’s another cat this village is booming what the heck dude what are you doing i have some pumpkins for you thank you very much oh look how they hold up the emeralds i’m actually really excited for this i kinda lowkey love having

Villagers just roaming around i know it’s not safe for them and it’s not efficient but gosh it’s so much fun those like little efficient ones where you lock them in cells and spawn iron golems and all that stuff it gets a little boring having them just roam free

And having to go find them is kind of fun i’m really excited to decorate this area around that concept oh my pumpkins are going so fast i love it this is going to be such a good source of income maybe i should plant even more um maybe honestly probably having a little bit

Too much fun with these pumpkins but it’s just so relaxing i’ve had a lot of exams lately in school and it’s snowing here and it’s really nice just getting game and relax and farm but all of this farming has given me an idea i thought that it would be really cute if outside

Our gate we had like one of those sign boards that kind of point in all of the different directions and as we explore things we can sort of just plop on the sign the different things that are in different directions i don’t know if this is going to make

Any sense but for example if we just put an arrow this way that way is mushroom island and mesa that way is the savannah and the desert that way is the mushroom island and that way is the swamp in the mountains i think that’s kind of cute

We can upgrade it as time goes on but it’s a nice little reminder of things in the world and obviously i can put something on top and make it so the signs aren’t floating but for now that’s it we are however missing a direction though we have this way with that way

And we have that way but we don’t exactly know what’s this way i mean my village is this way and the dark oak forest is this way but i never really went past it so maybe that’s something we can do today hello villagers working hard i see

Some emeralds thank you so much oh my gosh 18 emeralds and this is a journeyman now which means we can trade melons i don’t have any melons but that is fantastic so there are two things that i’d like to do with the villagers or well there’s technically more than two but there’s

Two that i can think of being able to do right now first of all we don’t have all of the jobs so we should put out some beds to breed some villagers get some more babies so that we can get at least one of kind of every type but one of

Those types that we can’t get is a cleric because i would need a brewing stand for that and i don’t have one brewing stand spawn in like the big stone church-like building i don’t think it’s a church it’s like a tower that has the cleric stuff in it um we

Didn’t get one of those in this village so i’m thinking we could go out and look for another village to get it we also need some beetroot because this village literally only spawned with wheat like that’s it you you all are poor you’re poor it’s okay though because i’m gonna make us rich

So i’m thinking that we head out on a little adventure and we’ll just go maybe about a thousand blocks in this direction just in a straight line and see what we hit past this dark oak forest because i haven’t been past it and i’m really curious and i want to do

Some more exploring with any luck there will be another village this way and even if not maybe we’ll be able to find something of value out here regardless so far just really pretty dark oak forests ah i love these biomes i see some white horses ah if only i had

A saddle it would be so lovely to have some horses to ride around maybe that’s something that we really need to look forward to saddles gosh there is so much forest on the seed nothing very notable to be honest so far just walking through lots and lots of forest

All right got some more dark oak forest up here and it looks like there’s a plains biome so oh or actually i think those were tulips maybe there’s a flower forest either way that’s the direction we need to go i need to eat my bad oh

Look at the bees hanging out near the tulips this is so cute it’s just a little tulip filled field you know what i’ll take some of these home with me we haven’t found much else so i have lots of room for flowers oh i see a savannah over here i didn’t

Know there would be another one of these this far out i’m still looking for jungle i think that’s one of the only biomes i haven’t really collected from to be honest and i do need that for melon so that’s kind of important oh wait oh my gosh

It’s a village is it a one house village oh no it’s at least two oh my gosh why do villages always spawn next to like the largest cave systems you’d ever see in your life oh and look here we go here’s one of these lovely brewing stands that we were

Looking for so now we can get our own cleric which is important because the clerics have the rotten flesh trade which i would like to have access to i just have to assume that we’ll eventually probably have the stuff for a rotten flesh so we may as well have a cleric on hand

It’s one of the easier traits gosh this village is so cool i’m gonna have to make mine this cool oh some maps that’s perfect cartography table i can make my own cartography table i really don’t need to steal yours hi buddy what do you got empty maps and

Paper cool and in this house bread okay and tall grass love that for us thank you for the tall grass thank you thank you i love this house over here that has a saplings in front what do you have inside oh bookshelves and lecterns yeah i’m definitely rating this i’m sorry villagers

Anything else of interest in this area and then we can probably return home oh there’s a desert maybe there’ll be a desert temple we gotta have a quick look all right scanning the horizon surely there’s something cool out here so far just a lot of sand though sad

Flesh for the trading you know what golden apple is great actually you’ve all been telling me to make these so that’s fantastic oh diamond horse armor and a saddle oh my gosh we can get our first horse today definitely taking that with me you know what over this heck yeah okay we’re

Gonna leave the tulips behind i can come back for tulips thorns too but we got another saddle and another golden apple all right my inventory is super full so i think it’s about time to go home i don’t see any is that where we came from i thought we came from over there

Wait this is a different village oh my gosh i really love my spawn village but i’m not gonna lie this village is very good this is a pretty top tier village i’m happy about it we’re gonna be rich as well look at all this oh my goodness i’m

Taking all of these hay bales and we’re gonna trade with our villagers at home and literally be the richest person ever in case you wanted them these are the coordinates that i am currently at if you’re playing along in this seat can come here it’s super cool you get

Lots and lots of hay bales this is such a weird house design right you walk in here you loop around you die a little bit what just happened to you but there’s a cactus just like what the worst backyard experience ever and a dude just glitched through a wall

Nailed it ah who said i’m just a builder i’m kidding that’s not actually that hard i’m genuinely just so happy with this entire situation hello my friends wonderful more books don’t mind if i do right well this has been an absolutely lovely surprise but my pockets are full

Almost full at the very least so i think i’m just gonna head home this was wonderful i’m gonna be literally rich when i get home and i cannot wait let’s go wait no i don’t have room for anything else why is the seed like this it’s the gift

Here i don’t think cats can be tamed in a confined space oh are you coming here is that a jelly come here oh my goodness wow well thank goodness because i only had four wow okay come here come here jelly you you can come out here and you’ll be a

Guard of the main the main gate entrance area yeah yeah come on come on romeo and juliet you have a sibling all right so we will just park this kitty right here so this will stop any creepers from wanting to come in this way hopefully good kitty now where oh it’s meeting

Time okay where did you go there we go blast protection oh and i need a book on my back hang on i’ll be back all right so i am just gonna buy that blast protection it seemed pretty cheap to me to be honest and it’s probably gonna save my life

So i think it’s worth it i don’t think i’m gonna be able to put it on this chest plate uh yeah i can’t but i can just take the protection off of this and then do it again there we go so this should help us so that we will not die

Instantly to a creeper blast which is super important i feel also would you like my pumpkin thank you very much all right now i do apologize for how incredibly scatterbrained this episode is once again but hopefully you don’t mind me running the episode a little bit

Longer so that we can get an important project today done that we started at the beginning of the episode um this is going to be our mine now i really like the look of this cave i think that we can transform this entire thing if we live long enough into this really cool

Core you may be with like mine carts coming up and down and running into the castle automatically but just for today i think i would at the very least like to go down try and get some diamonds with my fortune and maybe just decorate things down there ever so slightly to

Make it pretty so let me collect some wood for that ah this mine is kind of scary it’s kind of fun though i really like it so okay here’s what we’re gonna do we’re gonna widen out this main area so that i can get a bunch of furnaces and stuff

Down here so i can basically come down here and stay down and just work for as ever long as i need to work we’ll be able to get a bunch of our supplies for building from down here as well because we’re building out of so much stone and

Diorite and granite and andesite we just really need it so i think this is important i’m just going to start by widening this out we’ll strip mine along this axis so straight this way and straight this way and then these little cubbies over here will be for like

Supplies and things all right now that this is carved out a little bit more we’re just going to make some work stations along here so i think something i don’t want it to look too kitchen-like i want it to be pretty wooden industrial like i don’t know just more

Official looking maybe something like that and then in each of these corners we can get these wooden beams that look like they’re kind of holding the place together yes i do think that this is going to add a nice little pop of color that it needs even if it is just wood

I grabbed some stone brick as well so that i can just replace out a little bit of this flooring and give us a little bit more detail around here we’re going to be spending a lot of time in the early game down in these mines because

Well i don’t really want to die in a cave and even though i have glass protection it’s just safer to get diamonds down here so that’s what we’re gonna do and i’d like to make it nice and of course i would also love to get some of these wooden stairs and slabs

Just going around a kind of a trim i think it would look really good okay the more that i look at this the more i really do like it however it’s not exactly what i want yet and i’m thinking the symmetry is what’s throwing me off

Because how often are we going to need two workstations right we have stuff smelting over here we can fill this in with some furnaces as well where’s where’s this let me just craft um should we do blast furnaces i wonder you know what that might be a cool thought

And uh it’s it’s a little expensive but i think it’ll be worth it for me to have some blast furnaces down here as well yes that’s going to be so much better okay so then i’m going to destroy this side over here oh whoops i have some stuff stored already

And then with this side over here all we’ll do is we’ll end up digging this one in a little bit further and we’ll use this as our minecart kind of loading and offloading station over on this side so this side is our little work area we’ve got a little bit of storage i’ll

Probably put a little more storage just maybe like in barrels like this oh no not like that straight up yeah yeah like that that’ll look so much better and then over on the side eventually we’ll get some mine carts going i don’t have the resources for that yet obviously i only have 30

Iron on me at the moment i can’t make a whole bunch of rails but eventually we can do that and maybe we can either get a furnace minecart or just some powered rails and we’ll get that done just kind of making use of some of the random

Stuff that i have and i’m going to make these corners polished direct um that’s kind of cute right it’s a lot of lighting but it kind of does the trick so here’s the other safety precaution i’m thinking right right along here where we’re going to be strip mining i think all we’ll

Need to do is just put a little gateway that way if i forget to light something up down the line every time that i come into this work area i just close the gate and nothing can get at me while i’m working in here even if i forget and

With this worked on i think it’s officially safe for us to go mining let’s actually go and get some work done i’m gonna go through a few iron pickaxes and just make my way down this tunnel i think i won’t go in this kind of three by three format for too long i’ll

Probably try and go like every we’ll go every two we’ll just head down this way i don’t know if this is the most efficient way to do this you have your favorite mining for diamond methods definitely leave them down below i would love some tips

But we’re going to see if we can just using this method find anything valuable of course we are going to mine any redstone we see not gonna unfortunate we just got fortune so i’m gonna try to save my fortune specifically for diamonds until we get a little richer

Some calm strip mining was exactly what i needed at the end of a long day i feel like we’ve done so much in this episode and it’s been a little scatter brain but it’s just because i’m recording it over the course of a couple of days i’ve had

Two exams in college this week so that’s why this episode is just a little bit slower getting out to you guys i do apologize for that but the exams do have to come first very sadly i wish they didn’t some days but you gotta do what you gotta do mining and

Exploring and building up this world has genuinely been just exactly what i need during the slightly more stressful time of year when we go into exam periods in school oh dear dad is that above my head where is it um oh it’s a lava flow what the heck um

Excuse me it’s a cave okay i think we’re just going to block that up how incredibly unlucky this is like the tiniest little cave ever doing great so far lots and lots of oars but not many diamonds so gotta get back to work oh i found some lapis that is great for us

Because we don’t actually have that much maybe i should fortunate just in case there we go i feel like this is a solid use of fortune thank you very much definitely going to come in handy for that early game enchanting we do have it in chanting table i just haven’t used it

Yet i’m hearing even more lava pops as i’m mining here so i think i’m going to try and see if i can kind of get closer to them and see if there’s any diamonds near lava i know it’s kind of an old myth the diamonds are always near lava but

It’s worth a shot oh okay i found a cave whoa i found a pretty big cave um this looks really dangerous look at all those little nachos above my head let me get that placed down i hear a skeleton and i don’t want to be shot into lava oh my gosh

There’s a lot of lava i’m not sure that caving is a super good idea but it’s oh so tempting hello definitely don’t want to cave upwards need to make sure i stay around diamond level to be the most efficient oh oh my gosh i almost missed it but wow that’s so

Incredibly lucky look we popped out right here and there’s diamonds and i also hear a skeleton which i don’t love but you know what it comes with the territory okay so today caving was a lot more efficient than strip mining for diamonds that’s really cool i’m just

Looking around the area to make sure that there’s no baddies that can get in my way right these are our first ever diamond ore i’m excited naturally i had to take a few screenshots and it does look like it is a set of just four diamond ore that is

Perfect right okay i’ve got my fortune 3 on i’m so excited to see how many we get oh okay so four diamonds turn into ten okay you know what i will take that that is so good i’m so glad we went for fortune now that was so worth it look at this cave

It’s so cool to see caves like this that are just at diamond level oh diamond level speaking of there’s another diamond we just found the last one literally right there no way no no speaking of no way absolutely not dealing with you no thank you okay i need to safety proof this area

There’s three sets of diamond ore down in this cave all three that i found anyways um don’t need a creeper falling on my head this is fantastic we’re gonna be literally rich after this episode it’s only episode four and it wouldn’t even be that impressive except for the fact that we have fortune

So like it’s gonna be so much better wait where would where did where did the other one go did i lose it where’d it go ah right here okay let’s us quickly see i think this is just an individual one yeah this is an individual one oh well it’s so cool let

We are coming out of this caving experience with 23 diamonds that’s absolutely insane to me i don’t think i’ve ever had a first experience down the minds this successful and it’s because we got fortune like without fortune this wouldn’t even be that crazy i mean if we didn’t do fortune and we

Didn’t find the diamonds in the pirate area oh whoop i gotta make another gotta make another crafting table um if we didn’t do that i would only right now have however many diamonds as ore that we found because i wouldn’t have been able to really get much i suppose i

Still could have but if i didn’t like i would just be getting an enchanting table now and trying to collect obsidian i don’t have to do any of that i feel like we’ve kind of cheated the game here i didn’t really mean to cheat the game we’ve kind of cheated the game

One more quick little peek around this corner just to make sure there’s no more diamonds yeah i think we’re okay gotta check though you know because i’m getting super lucky there is a bunch more to get in that cave i am sure but for today i’m going

To head back and see if i can’t take advantage of all of this i feel much better now that i have this and look how close it was it was literally that mine right there oh my goodness okay i feel great let’s head back to the surface now and

Put away some of our stuff uh how did you take damage what happened buddy oh no did i forget to sleep i might have stayed awake at night accidentally while i was caving because it is daytime right now and i’ve not slept in a little while um oops

Luckily it does appear that everybody survived so i i think it’s fine i think i’m fine but i gotta i gotta fix the wall i’ve really gotta fix the wall maybe i’ll fix the wall now the riches are looking good though oh my gosh it feels so good to

Have those diamonds so my next question is do you think i should just work towards diamond armor or should i get diamond tools like what’s the better hardcore strategy here i’m genuinely curious if it were me i would probably go for a diamond pickaxe right now and then maybe a chest plate

I i don’t know or maybe a sword ah i don’t know i’ll let you guys decide i’ll do i’ll do whatever you say so i keep getting a few comments about this wall and how it’s not secure because you can jump over it and while

This is true in spots i actually have a slab on top of here so you can’t just hop up here and jump over like even as a player i ca i can’t i would have to like go in these corners and kind of parkour around i don’t even know if it’s completely

Possible um but yeah it’s you can’t just jump up on the wall but as this villager is wonderfully demonstrating for me thank you buddy thank you um you can in some spots because i haven’t finished the wall there’s no reason for this other than pure laziness i just i really i really

Need to get around to it whoops so that’s what i’ll spend the rest of this episode doing buddy please oh please work with me please come back come back come on all right well i’ll leave that one open for that villager just special special scenario

Then all we do is we go along the top with slabs of course this is just a temporary wall i’m gonna do a much nicer one eventually when we have the resources but this is very temporary keep everybody safe type a wall where are you going oh there’s an entrance

Over there okay it’s fine i can i can just it’s fine i forgot about the entrances they’re pretty good at pathfinding i think he’ll figure it out or she sorry villagers aren’t gendered so now i have the issue of fixing this area which is where the villagers keep

Hurting themselves so i really do have to fix it i just wish that they were a little smarter i’m not gonna lie i do i do wish that sometimes when working with villagers but it’s fine cause i’ll figure it out and you really gotta get in the village buddy uh there’s enough

Of this this is not a doorway that’s a window i know it’s poor design but you’re insulting me by doing this please okay get in in the village please get in the village please get in the village thank you thank you very much okay and

Now you should just be able to yep yeah yeah perfect wow you’re a genius you know that okay now i think i’m gonna fill in that window because let’s be real that’s a bit annoying we have a desert but i am collecting sand off the beach because i am lazy so back
