Usual here and I need to get on with building my castle I have a lot to build here and now that I’m short a couple of tools I really want to prioritize getting hold of those so that I can get back to building with a full set of

Tools in my belt but here at the ancient capital is not the only place I need to build because we have a new king when I drop the crown Scott smager picked it up and he has decreed that everybody from every Empire needs to go to his base and

Build something something from their empire so I was just asking for single items Scott is asking for entire builds which probably means Jimmy is going to build another section of walls over there but in my case I think I will bring something of the flavor of the

Ancient Capital with maybe a bit of a chromier Twist to it if I can manage that but it would not be my first time helping out with something over at chromia because in the meantime I have been helping some of my server mates with a couple of their build and taking

Problem with the lever is that it switches on and stays on permanently yeah I think what you need to do is get a sticky piston and that’s gonna pull and push one of these blocks that’s going to determine whether the circuit can play or not play basically you can hear

So since then a couple of other things have been completed let’s see if there are any plots around here which are still vacant sounds like Ollie’s crazy frog is still looks like we’ve got a couple around here actually a couple of likely looking building sites and I’m gonna land over

Here just so I don’t hear too much of Ollie’s Melody but there’s one right here that looks out towards Stratos there are a couple in town right here and there’s one a little bit more Central by the wheat field over there what do we think we can do about this

I’m thinking I might claim this one simply because it is the closest one to the ancient capital and something of the spirit of the place can maybe be felt from this distance so with the meager possessions I have on me right now which is a few note blocks from helping Ollie

Out I’m going to leave those there and hopefully that will indicate that somebody has claimed this one because honestly I don’t have enough materials on me right now for a sign and I’m missing an Ender Chest but once I’ve gotten back my ax and my bow we will

Return to take a crack at whatever ever this build is going to be well this has been a day it’s been a sequence of Unfortunate Events after having said I was just going to take a quick trip into The Nether to get some more netherite so

I could upgrade my ax and get some of my tools back to normal I ended up dying in lava and losing basically everything I had on me that wasn’t made of netherites that included my backup elytra which was the last Elite try I had so I had to

Come back out to the end find this end City Raid the ship thankfully after a couple of end cities that had already been raided I found one that hadn’t been but as I was pilloring up to that end City ship I found this and I have no idea what this is and this

Was just out here four thousand blocks out in the end and I have zero idea what it’s doing here I don’t know who built this it could have been one of the Hermits but I don’t know why they would build something 4 000 blocks out that nobody else was going to see there’s

Just this beehive dangling from the side of this end Island and it sort of looks like it’s Hollow but I am incredibly worried that if I break this I’m going to disturb the bees I don’t have anything on me for fireworks but I’m going to give it a try because I

Have I have no idea what this is for it doesn’t seem like there’s actually anything in here there’s no like shulker box or anything there’s not like a a treasure hunt or something there’s just this beehive here for no apparent reason and I do now have an electric so at

Least I can make a safe flight back to the shore I feel really sad for a few of the bees that seem to have escaped these hives only to find their home in the void there do seem to be a couple that have made it out over land and are very

Confused by what chorus flowers are but I need to head back thankfully there is a gateway just over here that I’ve only just spotted and I’m so grateful that there is but I need to get this a lighter Enchanted as soon as possible to see if I can go back through the Nether

And get to the point where I died because some of my tools and armor was made of netherite so it should have survived the drop into lava that is going to be dependent on a lot of things but first of all at least I can go back

To my base and I can grab a potion of fire resistance because ghosts can still be set on fire it turns out okay I have a three minute fire resist potion I’m gonna tuck the rest of the potions and stuff that I got from the end City raid

In here I managed to pick up a few other things including some more shulker shells which is good because I was running low I had most of my fireworks on me when I died so I really need to take a trip to a gunpowder farm and see

What I can grab and anxious though I am to return to the nether this is basically all the fireworks and gunpowder that I have left so I’m gonna have to make a quick trip to a place I know I can Farm some Gunpowder before I make it back through the Nether and that

Place is out here behind the portal to Dawn on the nether roof this should lead directly to hermitcraft’s raid Farm which is now I think technically speaking Gemini Tay’s raid from I’m hoping that there is some Gunpowder still left in some of these chests or Hoppers or I might even steal it from

The item filters at this point okay this one should oh thank goodness there’s so much gunpowder left in here and most of this was actually generated by me because I’ve used this a couple of times yeah there’s like tons of gunpowder in here I’m just gonna take as much as I

Can carry and then cram into an Ender Chest honestly I saw a few people speculating on the comments of the last video that the crown itself may have cursed me and that’s how come I withered away and died at Catherine’s party and if that’s the case the curse seems to

Have lingered even after I have died because quite frankly this has been one heck of a day but if I remember correctly I’ve flown over this Basalt Delta and it turned into a Soul Sand Valley somewhere around here yes and I decided that I was going to dip down

Into a little alcove that I think was here yes this is it so I came down here figured minding my own business looking for some ancient debris got down to the right kind of debris mining height dug into gravel there found lava thought okay I will turn left realigned myself

To one of the chunk borders since that’s typically where people end up mining for ancient debris and this is where I got to and oh my elytra is still there some of my stuff has actually survived Beyond just the netherite stuff so this whole patch

Of gravel fell in and I even said at the time oh it’s a good thing that I didn’t end up falling into that but then I was standing on a piece of gravel right here and it updated and man oh I’m so happy that this is all here

Okay I’m gonna drink this potion of fire resistance do a quick bit of lava diving to make sure I can collect all of the stuff that was made of near the right but oh oh my stuff my stuff is still here I have my silk touch pickaxe my

Proper netherite sword my shovel my bow even survived that I had just Enchanted the only thing I really lost it seems like was some of the diamond armor I had on me and a diamond ax but I can’t believe my elytra survived that okay the curse may have been lifted this was such

A tough spot to get out of as well like there was so much going on here the gravel had fallen in it made it impossible for me to swim out afterwards it was just a mess and of course overconfident man that I am I ended up coming down here without any kind of

Fire resistance potions at that time and I am not returning until I have brewed some more but I’m so happy I was able to recover that stuff and that my elytra was still there that’s oh that’s such a weight off my mind well one brief enchanting session later

We’re almost back up to normal I got a pretty decent Fortune pickaxe on the go and I need to put mending on my leggings and my helmets and return Swift sneak which is going to be the big outlier here but I got a silk touch ax I’m

Feeling pretty good about myself and I’m finally gonna get to go over to chromia and start what I had planned which fortunately is not going to take too much time ah and what’s happened since I’ve been gone somebody’s named my spot and I think I

Know who it is oh oh he’s a villain and somebody has apparently been griping that Shelby hasn’t got back to this point either well it looks like I’m probably stuck over here but just fine honestly my build can go basically anywhere although for the sake of my

Sanity I am going to turn off noteblock sound so for the time being just so I don’t have to listen to Ollie’s contribution anyway the ancient capital is known for a variety of things right it’s got all of the ruins it’s got the museum it’s got the castle it’s got the

Cliffside but what the ancient Capital used to be known for in the bygone days and one of the things that I’ve been trading to folks on the server is its Orchard of Frog Light trees and with chromia being such a colorful place I thought it would be really nice to

Introduce a Frog Light tree over here and maybe add in a couple of little secrets that can get Scott a few frog lights whenever he would desire them so I’m thinking we’re gonna grow one of the Frog Light trees about here I just need to go away and gather a few of the

Leaves is required shouldn’t be any big deal and will grow a nice pleasant tree next to this building and fill chromia with a little bit more foliage unless this is some kind of name tagged creeper I might also do a little bit of housekeeping for it but for now at least

I can make a start on the trunk and there we go just a short time later a fresh Frog Light tree Straight From The Orchards of the ancient Capital we can probably remove the wool around here and oh it’s just started raining well a bit of rainfall is probably going to be

Healthy for the tree and you know what I think we might sneak in a secret around the base of the roots and I’ve just had to go to Stratos for an Ender Chest honestly Scott why do you have any under chest in any of your builds but I’m

Thinking I might repurpose the wall here to activate three dispensers whenever Scott walks around the base of this tree we’re gonna put one here we’re gonna have one there and one around here and I think I might use some of the Moss carpet idea from around here to cover

Those up so it’s fairly obvious where they are if he just wants to pull the Frog lights out but it can at least be a fun surprise in the main time and the Redstone for this can be nice and simple I’ll need to waterlog the skull sensor

So it doesn’t make too much noise so we can just throw a water bucket in there and the comparator there can be what detects the skulk sensor triggering and that means that we can have the skull sensor water logged and the comparator on the other side of the block they will

Surround the sensor with wool on three sides like so and then it should only start to trigger when he gets in close range of the tree which should hopefully also prevent it from going off too much when the average chicken walks past while I was here I stayed at this

Establishment and I couldn’t help but notice it has a suggestions and feedback box now there was a couple of beds upstairs I just needed to get some sleep to skip the night and make sure more mobs didn’t spawn looks like there’s a few suggestions in here already I’m

Gonna say more ender chests fewer creepers well one of the advantages I have found to being a ghost so far is that you fit in pretty well with schematics this transparent castle tower set behind me is looking pretty homely at this point for my old transparent

Self but you know what I think things need to be made a good deal more corporeal around here so that those of you who are still living will have something nice to look at so I think we’re going to build up a couple of towers today and we’re going to do that

In the form of a time lapse Thank you [Applause] foreign Foreign [Applause] Foreign Foreign Foreign Thank you Hey folks welcome back I hope you enjoyed the time lapse and I didn’t really get to talk all that much about the structure that you’ll see over there in the distance but that was kind of more improvised on stream whereas these were a little more planned as you saw

From the schematics before so these two towers are going to be either side of a gate house which is going to have a pair of towers of its own and there are going to be two layers to the gate as I think I mentioned before there’s going to be a

Big gate here and a small gate on the inside that’s going to narrow down the amount of traffic that can actually pass through to the Courtyard Beyond but I really like the way these towers came together I’m using a lot of the grayscale color palette of course but

It’s kind of doing something similar to what I did with my nether portal Tower when I first constructed that that’s over there you can kind of see it there but my vision for this was that at some point in the past this Castle has been either attacked or bits of it have just

Become destroyed over time but I feel like an attack is probably a little bit closer to what I want story of this area to be and there’s been some sort of Siege engine or creature down here that’s been able to hurl massive flaming Boulders or Fireballs or something at the tower and

It has shot from roughly this location and it’s gone Bam Bam and that’s why each section of the tower has been kind of carved away and left a lot of the black stone and basalton darker blocks to imagine that these are singed By Flame and charred by fire and that it’s

Left a lot of the tower damaged this one even has kind of an exit on the back where there’s another burned section opposite so you can imagine it just going and melting away through the tower and then this one of course has a little bit less of a dent as though it’s kind

Of grazed the top of it and gone flying off there isn’t really anything inside the towers right now there’s gonna be layers of floor and stuff in here and ways for people to get up on top and we’re going to do a bit of decoration but I think I’m really prioritizing

Getting the external structure of this Castle down on first so there’s a couple of things that I would love to do but that’s really if I have time for them later I also wanted to show you something about these that I noticed whilst I was playing around with

Building them in creative and that’s just something to do with lighting right now I’m used to playing Minecraft on full brightness if anything I actually increase the brightness using the gamma utils mod if I want to go inside of a Darkly lit area like my catacombs or

Like a cave or something like that I know if whip has been increasing his gamma basically all season so that he can show you around the caves of gobland and it not be a dark muddy miss when it comes to the YouTube videos as I was playing around with building this on my

Creative world I set the brightness to Moody and this makes one heck of a difference to these towers I have wanted a stone block that’s this color for a really long time and that’s kind of why I was so excited about the addition of deep slate and a few other things but

Deep slate has such a strong texture to it it’s very streaky which is where where I’ve used it to kind of shade in the maculations OR matriculations something like that I’m pretty sure that’s what they’re called on the edges of these towers but the Shadows that are

Cast during the day by just having a couple of blocks of overhang on a build like this as LD shadow lady logs in while I’m talking about shadows and I kind of wish I could do more with this in this series you know what I mean I think maybe I’ll

Switch to Moody lighting occasionally to take a look at some of this stuff because man it really sets the tone and atmosphere for builds like this but I can’t expect everybody else to go around with Moody lighting as well especially because of what it does to the Interiors

Of some of my other builds for example this is the catacombs and I’m pretty sure that if you’re watching this on YouTube right now you can barely see a thing let me increase the gamma to 200 which is what I’ve been doing most of the time I’m down here and look at the

Difference from Moody lighting the block light actually feels like it is doing something if you have your brightness set to full whereas on Moody lighting it’s kind of a nightmare but occasionally I might switch to it while I’m outside and I do kind of wish there

Was a way you could hotkey that so that I could do that a little bit more maybe I’ll look into that and see if there is one either way over here I have this thing that I’ve been working on that I’m calling the sanctum it’s kind of like a

Chapel of sorts within the boundaries of the castle it’s going to be surrounded by a Mossy field and there are going to be bees buzzing around here which incidentally is kind of a coincidence I I came up with that idea sort of on the Fly and then it turns out that Scott

Smadier has now lost the crown from the last couple of clips and the crown has found its way into Gemini Tay’s hands and her decree as the ruler of the empires is that everybody has to adopt and take care of some bees so we’ll be doing that in the next episode as we

Expand a little bit more on this build and a few more builds around the castle and we’ll create an apiary in the castle grounds I have seen a couple of bees buzzing around from the local Forest but they tend to leave again pretty quickly in the meantime though I will explain a

Little bit about these structures attached to the side of this Tower these kind of wooden limpets that I have going on these are really going to be part of the structure of this Castle as an explorable space and once again this is all going back to stormvale Castle from

Elden ring the chief inspiration for this whole project the idea is that a lot of stormvale you can explore along the rooftops and stuff you can drop down onto these kind of guard houses that are positioned along the walls and some of them have ladders leading up to them or

Staircases or something like that and others will simply be things that you drop down onto like this and if I can run and hop down here this is where I get my reward I can open a barrel I can look in a couple of chests there’s a

Couple of other bits and pieces and I’m planning on putting daylight sensors here I just didn’t have any of them available to me at the moment so I need to go and craft some of those and find the materials and so forth but I like the idea that a piece of masonry has

Fallen has landed on the roof of this has broken a hole down into it where there’s a couple of like trap doors and pressure plates and stuff to show there is wooden debris around and that’s how you can drop down into there and then and find whatever’s in there fight

Whoever’s on guard stationed up there and then roll down to this area to grab a couple of other bits and pieces as you parkour your way around the castle walls I’m planning on having a few more wooden structures like this surrounding the courtyard kind of allowing for the

Guards to you know make sure that nobody is misbehaving themselves down here and guard stations like this where they could shoot crossbows down at you it would be a fairly common thing just to make sure that no invaders came through and had an easy time of it but as we go

I’ll be working on more structures like this probably doing a few more schematics and time lapses and things like that so we can get more of this castle built but for now I think that’s where we’re gonna leave it for today every so often I forget that I’m
