This video is dedicated to threefold not only did he inspire me to make my YouTube channel and his awesome Community Drive me forward but he’s also influenced my real life as well with a lot of recent health and lifestyle decisions thank you so much for being an Impact in my life and while you may have left YouTube for now I will always remember everything that you gave us thank you so much three okay what should we put as the world seed guys amonglers amonglers all right that’s the seed we’re going for in the world seems Among Us okay The one brain cell of my entire Community went to Among Us is the seed name good morning good afternoon and good evening everyone this is ghostopedia and welcome to Greg Tech New Horizons Stellar hell now for those of you who are unfamiliar Greg techno Horizons is an expert Greg Tech kitchen sink Pack Set in 1.7.10 while being from an older version of Minecraft it has nothing short of new features constantly being added by the devs every single update for over seven years now and our goal is to get to the Stargate the final objective of this pack it’s a little bit Of a meme goal having a interestingly dangerously large recipe and I’m gonna be totally honest it’s gonna take us hundreds if not even thousands of hours to reach this point and I’m gonna take you through the Journey that I spent to get there now let’s talk about some of The requirements for this run and some of the things that I will be allowing myself so everyone’s on the same page I will be using homes and teleportation to get around and not waste a lot of time it’s allowed by the official Stargate rules so I’m going to respect That and use them the second thing is we’re playing in hardcore I mean I played TJ and E60 in hardcore and I felt pretty comfortable in both of those packs even though that they had a very very different amount of difficulty which means if we die at any point from A reason that isn’t a genuine bug or a mechanic that is caused by a bug well we’ll be leaving this world forever now New Horizons starts like most other packs you punch a tree and you make a crafting table but the crafting table recipe has been changed it actually Needs Flint which means we need gravel and there’s no gravel near our spawn so it’s sent me off on a little bit of a journey northwards in the meantime I ended up finding a roguelike dungeon and I got morbidly curious and went inside of it which was met with regret and immediately left Every single mob in there could have killed me in one hit and nighttime ended up falling so I just after doing a little bit more cheeky exploration settled down in a hole and waited for day to come now nothing too interesting happened overnight time however it is raining in The morning meaning we need to make a run for it or a mob nearby might end up hurting us so off we go after sprinting forward northwards a little bit we ended up finding a river with a little bit of gravel in it and I took the chance to Mine up as much of it as I possibly could and finally make our crafting table and I also ended up making a shovel and just dug up more as we’re going to need a bunch of gravel for the Flint needed for chests yeah you heard that right chests require Flint in their Recipe unfortunately it became the second night as I spent most of the time that day traveling and there were mobs everywhere it was a very poor choice of mine to be staying out at night time here and I was surrounded on all sides I just decided to run forward and dig down As fast as I possibly could somewhere safe and somewhere away from that spider that was trying to damage me got into this hole and we waited out the second night now unlike like the first night we actually had things that we could do we could progress through the first chapter In The Quest Book And So It Begins we had a tool crafting Quest that we needed to get done we had to make a flint Pick X and ho so I spent a little bit of time using the Flint that we already had as well as mined up a little more nearby to Craft the tools that we needed that’s really all I did that night the rest was waiting Kronos reference anyway day came and I had to book it from the area that I was again that wasn’t too hard nothing really bad happened and I continued northward along the riverbed I was still being pretty careful as there could have been Hostile Mobs that could have ended this run a little bit too soon if I wasn’t paying attention we ended up settling nearby this part of the river put my chest underneath an oak tree as well as my crafting table and we started To hunker down for the fourth night I know I’m going pretty fast here but not a lot really happens at the beginning of New Horizons it’s really just a bunch of wandering collecting random resources and finding somewhere to set up I also got distracted by looking at the recipes for concrete beautiful beautiful Concrete my beloved dug down and started to dig out a bunker for us to live in as building a house was out of the question for the time being as I want a lot more building tools before I start to do any above ground bases after doing a little Bit more digging I showed some stuff off on stream and we ended up on you you matter and I ended up doing this I have no words so just listen in matter you know new material I just did that I hate myself now while I’m setting a base in the Little hole that I’ve dug out let me mention some things here real quick if you’re confused where my stream overlays or music or audio has gone when I ingest the footage into videos it’s just showing the raw footage and at some points I’ll probably end up Using stream clips and or just the raw stream footage fully but for now you’ll probably have noticed that the sounds missing for the game don’t worry that won’t be like this for the rest of the video it’ll only be during my ingestation of the first stream Anyhow we’re now focused on making a bed but a bed needs a lot more wood and a lot more wool than the original vanilla bed recipe I think at this point I can stop mentioning the fact that every recipe has changed as this should be the Assumption going forward I made the Fences I needed I made the carpet and last but not least I made the bed sweet sweet night skipping here we come some people would think that a bed is overpowered and I can sometimes agree with that but that’s a problem for a future me we’re going to bed now good Morning folks it’s time to actually make some progress now which is the coke oven I am going to need a lot of sand and clay so I head out and go and buy in a bunch it wasn’t too bad considering we spawned in a desert that made it a lot Easier otherwise I would probably be searching for a long while I also needed some paper to make some paper bark trees as we’re going to need a constant source of paper here in the future and I thought that that was a good use of some of our first pieces of paper Now the reason why we need paper is to make tinker’s construct patterns each pattern takes four pieces of paper and we need that to get to the Tinkers Quest so I went outside and I took a mortar and some wood to make some more wood pulp and turned that into paper using Water this is temporary while our paper bark trees are growing eventually we won’t have to do this anymore with paper in hand we were able to make our blank patterns which means we can make a pattern chest a tool station a stencil table and a Park Builder with these four crafting stations in Hand this allows us to make tinker’s tools which at this point is much better than the GT tools that we can get at this current time right now our tools are really just going to be made out of flint and wood which is going to mean That there are going to be just a little bit slower than the GT tools that we’ve been using but they’re repairable and they can never break meaning we will always have them rather than having to constantly replace them now remember that coke oven I was trying to craft Forever ago I finally got around to making the coke bricks for it however I needed a bunch of wood to feel the furnaces because at this point in the game we didn’t have access to Charcoal yet as this is the whole reason we were making the coke oven now there was a Great wood tree outside so I decided this would be our source of wood to smelt the coke bricks I sloppily chopped down the center and that was more or less it I then went back inside and actually got to smelting the coke oven bricks that were needed after a little Bit more waiting the coke bricks were finished and I was able to finally put together our first and probably only Coke oven I might make more in the future but for now I only stuck with one as that was more than enough that we needed as I had some different plans for Our fuel production here in the future for the steam Edge and with that we concluded the first day of streaming now let’s talk about some of the last things that I did at the very end of the stream and the stuff that I did in between stream one and two it was mostly Base improvements at first and then I wanted to go and get some iron and that went about as well as I thought it would uh not too great oh and hooray the game sounds back finally all of our clips and stuff from here on out should at least Have some audio in them now sorry about that anyhow after finally managing to get some iron somewhere else I stumbled across a village while exploring I was looking for Gardens as well as other unique structures around our area that we set up and this Village thankfully ended up having a tinker’s construct Smeltery in it saving us a lot of time so we don’t actually have to make any of the seared bricks anymore some other things to note in this Village was a railcraft building that had some miscellaneous stuff in it I left most of it there and there was also a thumb Craft tree which I spent way way too long digging at for absolutely nothing of note apparently so much so that passed me didn’t even bother recording it so what’s in there is a mystery to me and you as well now at this point in the Run I was very desperate for one thing a tinker’s construct Hammer as I was getting absolutely tired of having to use a pickaxe to mine ores so I started to devise a strategy to getting two alumite large plates which were needed for the tool Forge recipe because of Course it would be harder to make a tool Forge in this pack who would have thought now listen before you tell me about the alumite Dust recipe trust me I know I ended up learning the hard way now at some point I was gathering Redstone and I noticed this odd structure on the mini map over here so I decided to dig towards it and once I actually arrived at the structure lo and behold it was a stronghold we ended up settling on top of one which is a total surprise to me considering at the beginning of this Stream the Run was completely picked random by a viewer now this stronghold didn’t have too much to note at first until a little bit later and I’ll just let you watch back the clip unfortunately there wasn’t really a lot of reaction for me because I had my mic off but I can tell you I was insanely happy this seed had 176 steel within this stronghold chest this is an insanely good find as it allowed us to Rock It Forward and get some items that we would have needed a bricked Blast furnace for to begin with we still end up having to make a brick Blast Furnace here in the future but this helps tide us over in the early game with a couple of recipes that would have been annoying otherwise Now I’d like to bring you to the attention of this aluminum or gravel this is where the beginning of our big mistake occurred I was finding this specifically to do a quest which would give us 16 more this was before I knew that the JT alumite recipe existed Now with this I rushed back home and I made the grout that I needed for the last final components of our smeltery while the seared brick finished cooking up I went outside and placed some of the Natura berry bushes that I’ve found around the perimeter of our base they’re Nice for a quick snack and while I was on the surface I cut down a few more oak trees to put some more logs in our Coke oven considering we should be constantly processing charcoal at this point as we’re going to need it for steel lighter For some reason while I was working on all this I thought I needed to make more seared brick blocks even though I had a bunch of them from the village this was an oversight of mine and a total skill issue I seem to have made a lot of those While trying to get a hammer anyway I took the seared tank over to a nearby lava pool and filled it up now as you noticed whenever I’m holding a hot block like a lava bucket I end up burning and let’s not talk about the fact that I just poisoned myself we’re gonna blame The fact I needed to eat a spider eye for bonus Health now the method of getting the this lava tank home was quite funny it was just breaking it and then making a Mad Dash for the smeltery which wasn’t too bad and thankfully it didn’t do a lot of damage but that Fueled our smeltery for us however I was on a streak of making mistakes I mined up the obsidian and then I threw the aluminum or gravel directly into the small tree so let me make it clear do not do this if you put aluminum or gravel into a smeltering it’s incredibly Inefficient you get very very little and alloying it into alumite is even worse so I ended up wasting 20 blocks of aluminum or gravel and yes I felt incredibly dumb after that so much so that I didn’t even bother clipping it apparently because I couldn’t find the footage anywhere remember kids check Your recipes lest you be an idiot like me after that uh horrible mistake of mine I actually went out and mined up a bit of tin as well as some Copper from a chunko pirate vein because we need to get Steam Machines if we want to do the alumight Recipe properly as we’ll need a steam macerator so I started to hammer down the dusts or copper and tin and turned them into bronze we lose a little bit of the resources due to handcrafting I waited for that to smelt up and got the quest and made a small bronze boiler and Our steam macerator I also then proceeded to make our alumite dust and I don’t know what blew up in the background but you know it just happened and it didn’t hurt me so we’re fine with that all you might went into the smeltery I kind of left it alone came Back got the plates that was really easy and then started to prepare materials for our Hammers and stuff now I thought that I was going to make the iron blocks in a alloy smelter which is why I made a block mold and then tried to do this This does not work this can only be done in an MV alloy smelter so I had to wait even more make more bronze we’re not going to talk about the items that are slowly encompassing the wall and make a steam compressor the compressor was actually what allowed us to make iron Blocks so finally I was able to craft those with the iron blocks out of the way that was all that we needed to make our tool Forge unfortunately I didn’t end up getting a quest notification for it I’m pretty sure it’s a quest somewhere but this is Foreshadowing to the fact that I wasn’t paying attention to the quest book ended up making a hammer totally forgot to record it and that was the conclusion of everything before stream number two I’d like to apologize that some of the b-roll is very fast paced and or missing Vital Information this is another case of TJ episode four I need to get better at recording these longer formatted videos it’s something that I haven’t given enough time to myself to learn and hopefully that won’t be an issue here in the future now what is an issue is the Fact that I completely forgot to record the first hour of stream number two so that just doesn’t exist and we’re just gonna imagine it ever happened really the biggest change is we now have a little bit of a surface farm and the hallway underground has been expanded And made better now I did something very risky here and this was the first close call in the entire series and I think it’s just better that you watch the twitch clip I’m sorry that I don’t have the raw footage for this but hey stream Clips are kind of there for a reason I am gonna just run run run Oh uh home huh oh well this has been awkward now ain’t it uh oh was that extremely stupid of me oh absolutely well I probably do this again yeah definitely however we almost died at 12 hours into the run and hopefully we will never have that happen again That would have been a very awkward death considering this is the very first episode after healing up a bit I went outside and I got this really Nifty screenshot I wish that I had a little bit more decorations going on outside but I still really liked the way that That looked now unlike stream number one stream number two didn’t really have that much chord progression going on it was mostly faffing about and I would say this is probably one of the most notable things I did I went over to a slime Island that was nearby base and I stole The Siamese tree that was on it thankfully we ended up getting two slimy saplings but we ended up losing those later as the slimy trees that we planted never dropped any saplings I ended up spending some time to improve the entrance of our base and make it a Little bit safer I was gonna make a nice little house but I ended up just making a flat little bunker box for the time being don’t worry in the future our base will look so much better than this but until we have a little bit more free Range of movement it’s better that I just keep things simple otherwise each of these episodes are going to take even longer than they would normally and as you can see there was our first tree and our second slimy tree not dropping saplings it was still enough to make the water Tank that I was trying to make though which means we now have a consistent source of water for our steam machines I dug a hole down into our base and installed our water tank fun little fact you only need a single block of Skylight for these things to run at maximum Efficiency which is why there’s that single hole there afterwards I moved down the Steam Machines up against the water tank this allowed a steady supply to our boiler I then worked on making a cooking for Blockheads kitchen the only thing that was really difficult about That was the steel but we had a bunch of that so I ended up making the cooking table and the counters and that more or less concluded what we did for stream number two so let’s talk about some of the progress that happened after the second stream so remember that kitchen From the trailer well I built that off stream it now has an oven and a sink in it one of my largest goals for after the second stream was making a railcraft boiler as this would give us a lot more steam budget to run Steam Machines and eventually LV machines Start off I had to cook up a bunch of iron as it was a really iron heavy process and I had to smell it more later but we got our low pressure boilers so I started to work on the fire boxes from rail craft that we would need for the Rest of this multi-block that required a pretty substantial amount of bronze for the Firebox casings as well as more iron but that got us the solid fuel Firebox which we just ended up placing right beside the water tank because the water tank Auto pushes water into adjacent Inventories so it worked out pretty well and that was a better source of steam for us I then took our steam machines and Jerry rigged them right onto the front of it because for lack of better words I was being very lazy I also took the opportunity to recycle some of our Older steam boilers in our macerator I then proceeded to go outside and almost die thankfully I had enough food where I was able to run away and the mob stopped paying attention to me but if either of those variables went wrong there’s a very good chance that I would be dead Again oh boy I need to stop biting off more than I can chew a lot of these mobs hurt next up on the things of that I needed to quickly make was a forge Hammer but that required an anvil so there was a quest that needed two of Them I did that got that done real quick and made our steam Forge Hammer I’ll come back to the forge Hammer later but for right now I really wanted to start preparing more steel so I went out and I dug up a bunch of bricks from a roguelike dungeon that was nearby we’ll Need these for fire bricks and they’ll be processing in the background they’re just a mixture of clay and the brick dust that we just got but I also need calcite so in the meantime while those were being crafted I decided to go and mine up a Lapis Fang which is the only Source of calcite that we have at the moment however because the lapis veins give so little we actually have to macerate the calcite rather than just using a hammer or something else as we still need a good amount of it and it’s in quite short supply this was before I Realized that there was a quest that would have given us it this is why we checked the quest book what this did lead to however was me getting really annoyed at the single block Steam macerator and started to work on a large multi-block steam grinder this is where The forge Hammer came into play it allowed us to turn three ingots into two plates which is a better ratio than what we were getting before which was two to one in a crafting table using a hammer and two ingots oh and as you can see Real quickly I ended up getting all the fire bricks so I let them cook up and now they’re smelted now all we need is the concrete and the gypsum needed to make the fire brick blocks now I know we’re jumping back and forth a lot but Before we go to the blast furnace I reel quickly finish up making the controller for the steam grinder that’s out of the way and that completes the quest as well now are you prepared to see the fun and engaging gameplay I did for the next five minutes because I sure am now I’m Gonna be totally honest with you guys it wasn’t as bad as I made it out to be because I put a crafting station by my water tank which allows me to do this funny thing where it just autofills the water buckets for me that cut out some Clicking but not all of it and we finally got our basic Blast Furnace which I installed up near the front of our base rather than in the back just so the pollution stayed away for the time being I might disable pollution depending on some factors and depending On how the viewers feel but for the time being it’s enabled though it’s not really a huge problem I’m gonna be honest with you now after that I wanted to take a quick trip to the nether to go and locate some sulfur for the future so I might have some obsidian and made of flint and steel and went to the nether it wasn’t super eventful there were a couple of times I got attacked by infernals through the wall but I got the sulfur and was able to start working on some rubber bars and that concluded the After stream Day 2 footage now let’s talk about some of the things that happened on stream number three it was mostly building but we still got a pretty good amount done the first thing that happened during that stream was about 20 minutes was it just me on this Um some people went really insane with giving me subs and that kind of just made my heart rate go however the goal of stream 3 was to get to the LV age a little bit of foreshadowing that did not happen on stream number three instead the focus geared over towards expanding the base And making it more livable for our new and most likely soon coming LV expansion this all started off with a bout of resource collection as I needed blocks to start to assemble a base that I would feel comfortable and homey in considering I don’t want to just live in A cobblestone box forever that would look really Bland and boring Agatha Christie made absolutely short work of our giant spruce tree Cube so it wasn’t too hard to collect Spruce at least I did some gardening and collected up some cotton as this is going to be needed a Little bit later during this stream to craft up some piston boots as bound leather needs a lot of string to get into the groove of building I made an architect’s saw bench which allows us to make things like slopes inner Corners outer Corners just more geometrical shapes rather than just stairs slabs and Full blocks there was a lot of digging done this stream and I cut most of that out considering I didn’t really record it in a way that would have been time lapse worthy and trust me I tried making it into a time lapse it looked really bad however we were running low on Stained clay so I went over to one of the nearby mountains and started digging it up out there these kinds of mountains will be our source of stained terracotta throughout the series for various different things from resource collection to Base building so we’ll be visiting these a handful of times in the Future and with that I was back to digging there was so much digging you have no idea I’m really happy that I hard specked all of my upgrades directly into Redstone otherwise this would have taken even longer to do digging out a 31 by 31 area Underground Ah it’s not an issue anymore hey think fast piston boots jump scare we finally have them these allow us to run a little faster while sprinting as well as give us Auto step and higher jump boost so they’re really nice to have her on base and yet again more digging did I mention There was digging this stream I heard that there was a lot of digging this stream I hope you know that however with a little bit of the digging out of the way I was actually able to start building as well which was a nice change of pace considering I just spent Probably the betterment of an hour or so just digging things up and talking to chat however that building was pretty short-lived as after I put in a little bit of the floor I went straight back to digging because I needed to raise the ceiling I didn’t really liked the Cramped atmosphere that was being contrived from the roof being so low at the time raised up I ended up moving all the chests down stairs I mean I I guess it’s not really that far downstairs it’s just down to the new storage room area thing I moved them down moved the rest of the Steam Machines the boiler the water tank you get the gist and that’s what concluded the end of stream number three for us we’re in the home stretch now welcome to stream number four let’s talk about some Of the things we did the first thing I did was move the bricked blast furnace that we made forever ago it was kind of annoying to move because I had to use the wrench to disassemble the fire bricks for some reason they take so long to mine it’s kind of annoying wrenches Are an extremely slow tool but I brought it downstairs and I put it nearby the railcraft boiler which is also right beside our steam grinder this is probably where it’s going to stay until we get an ebf I stocked it up with a little bit more charcoal and I let it do Its thing for the time being the recipes take an hour so I shouldn’t really have to pay attention to it while the steel was cooking up me and chat decided that we needed a ceiling so I started to design one and this is so annoying I Wish I had some form of flight and hopefully I’ll be able to get one very soon here you probably noticed that I’m having to either place dirt or jump willy-nilly to actually be able to reach the ceiling it’s it’s so annoying it’s honestly probably one of the least entertaining Parts of early game building is not having a reliable source of flight or just some easy way to move up and down anyway after a lot of struggling I managed to finish the ceiling and for the time being that’s all the building that we’re going to do as I really want To get some LV machines so we can finally start to get out of the steamage and really start to consider ourselves in the LV age hey me freeze the footage real quick ah thank you okay so our first goal is to get a low voltage steam turbine this Will allow us to power our first LV machines and really allow us to start crafting things more effectively however that’s going to require us to craft a bunch of stuff to be able to make some low voltage circuits as circuitry is pretty much required in every single Machine from this point forward and now before we actually start to focus on the first Quest I decided to upgrade my hammer first as it had a modifier slot available and we all want that mining speed now I was aware that the first Quest is going to want me to craft a Bunch of different types of wires and a lot of those wires are made out of mostly copper so I decided to go ahead and go out and mine up a Choco pyrite vein first before starting the micro crafting nonsense that is going to be making these circuits a quick cutaway Later and a large portion of that vein was in my back pockets not all of it though because early on I mine Greg Tech veins super super sloppily until I have some form of machine that can do the mining for me like a single block Miner Or a multi-block miner I more or less dig up enough to fill my inventory and then I head back home and I just leave the vein the way it is now speaking of once we got back home the quest in question wanted us to make some red Alloy cable and some tin cable which means we’re going to need some red alloy and some wire cutters for anyone who isn’t familiar red alloy is a combination of copper and Redstone which is why we went out earlier to mine up that choco pyrite van Now to make the cables I need to combine the red alloy wire and some rubber bars in an alloy smelter to very and efficiently make these cables in the future we’ll be able to make them way more efficiently and we won’t have to deal with the slow alloy smelter anymore either For the sake of getting the quest done first I also put in the tin wires that were needed for the tin cable for the quest as well in the meantime I was also planning ahead by looking at what resistors would cost in regards to their copper cost as well as the sticky resin As of this moment I didn’t realize you could buy sticky resin from the coins shot up which would have saved me a lot of time as well as you know if I had slimy saplings I’m still annoyed by that now until we get the LV wire Mill this Is the very goofy way that we make fine copper wire first off we take a hammer and some copper plates to make that into copper foils and then we cut the foils into the fine wire that’s such of a tedious recipe and I’m gonna be so happy When we never have to make it like that again now the last bit that we need for the resistor recipe is Just Some Coal dust so I took some of our coal ore that we had laying around and hammered it and got full pieces of coal which really Threw me off considering everything else just turns into a powder that was not what I was expecting when I started to mine this coal but it wasn’t really a huge problem I just threw it in the macerator and it turned into cold dust it was as simple As that and in the meantime our tin cables wrapped up meaning that the first wired Quest was done and out of the way once I got the coal dust I put in the crafting table and realized that I had the recipe backwards so once I swapped Them around I got our 10 resistors I made a little bit extra because I know I’m gonna need them later but next up on the list was getting vacuum tubes vacuum tubes right now are kind of annoying to craft they’re not too bad but they’re still pretty tedious and finding them in Any eyes also kind of irritating because it sends you to a bunch of different places to begin with that isn’t the crafting table recipe anyway besides me having a skill issue with Jai the first thing that we needed was glass dust and a ball mold both of those get thrown Into an alloy smelter to create glass tubes and I’m just gonna mention my inventory is a wreck oh my God I hate this so much because it annoyed me so much I actually made some efforts to clean it out and put stuff back where they actually belonged the glass tubes were coming Along slowly and surely but we only needed about six of them right now which is why I just kind of idled until I got the sixth one while I was idling I started to work on making the other components that we would need for our three circuits which were just some steel casings I also started to prep up some more copper plates because we were running low on copper wires and I still needed a bunch more so after putting in the glass tubes and the red alloy bolts we got some vacuum tubes I made four and I got two from the quest reward which is Enough for the three circuits that we needed next is on to the circuit board we need some coated circuit boards which are made from wood planks and the what is it called the sticky resin the stuff that comes from rubber trees however we were running low on sticky resin so I Went outside and I grabbed a little bit more from the rubber trees using the remaining durability from our last Treetop I also had to make the wood sheets that were needed for the circuit boards as I used all the ones that I had stocked up on the kitchen from earlier Now the Keen of you might noticed from earlier that the quest also requests a bunch of copper wires and that’s because we’re going to have to surround the blank circuit boards with the wires to actually wire them properly however I got really unlucky and my wire cut broke One wire short so I had to go make another one and used it to quickly get the last wire I needed and I also picked up the wood planks after checking everything else we took our circuit board bases and the wires and made our circuit boards I accepted some from the Quest as well and last but not least it was finally time to make our first LV circuits I picked up all the components that we had laying around in a chest and autofilled it in and after a little bit of Celebration with chat we crafted our first electronic circus this is a huge Goal and is our first step to moving into LV now at this point we have two options we can either make the LV machine holes or we can make the motors that are needed for the turbine and I’m gonna be real with you it’s kind of willy-nilly from this point forward as I Kind of just started working on random components for the steam turbine which in the first place was 10 rotors I needed some more tins so I grabbed some of that on stream and I honestly didn’t bother are showing it because you get the gist I had to go mine up some resources After having a bit of a skill issue with the tools that were in the ghost preview for the rotors I eventually was able to craft them next up I focused on the LV machine holes these guys take the steel that we’ve been producing till this Point forward and they use a quite a bit of it right now so we’re going to have to make sure that we’re pretty sparing with our steel otherwise we’ll over make plates and that’ll be a big problem ingots win in the Forge Hammer to make the plates I made sure to refuel the Boiler and I also made sure to make sure that we were compressing wrought iron consistently as we’re going to need this for our LV machine holes I started to put everything together to make our machine holes and then I realized I was missing some steel plates So I had to go and throw some extra steel into the forge Hammer instead however that really didn’t take too long so I was able to quickly grab it and bring it back to the crafting table and make our first LV machine holes which I then of course miscounted the wrought Iron but we had enough for the time being next up on the list of things that we needed for the steam turbine it was low voltage motors which just required some iron rods some copper wire and some tin cable which we all had it was just a Matter of putting it together and just like that we had everything ready to make our first LV machine the low voltage basic steam turbine now at this point we’ve technically reached the end of the steam chapter and I could comfortably say that we could stop the video here but I wasn’t satisfied with That on stream I wanted a wire Mill and I wanted a plate Bender so we rushed those down I also apologize for my in-game audio being a little crusty here I’m not sure what happened but apparently the people on stream also heard it as well unfortunately I’m gonna have to cut Ahead here because as you can see the audio in the footage seems to be very busted but we have a wire Mill now this allows us to get two wires per Ingot that we put in which is better than the 1.5 to 1 ratio we were getting before With doing manual crafting and using the forge Hammer now unlike the wire Mill the metal bending machine requires electric Pistons which requires some steel rods some steel gears and a little bit of extra wiring this all smacked together allowed us to make a basic vending machine which I put directly Beside our wire Mill I also hooked up some comically janky and dangerous wiring as it isn’t insulated don’t worry I insulated after the stream now at this point I start to look ahead at the LV age as well as notice that I can buy cables which is kinda huge but I didn’t Want to move any farther into the LV age on stream especially because I had this video to get out as well as it just felt wrong to um work ahead without finishing what I already promised now hey before you go I want to make you aware of the fact that There is going to be a poll being held at the end of this Premiere it’s going to dictate what sort of modifiers get applied to the second episode These modifiers could range from special challenges to restrictions that I’ll have to follow for that video so stay Tuned for that vote until then I’ll see you in the next video thank you so much and thank you to my patreons WhatsApp and Lawrence and Vala for their subscriptions to helping make this channel grow thank you so much everyone I’ll see you in the next one bye bye Video Information
